Chapter 61: Glitz and Slam?

18:47, 4 March 2015

(1 year later - Liam’s POV )

I looked around the room and I couldn't believe my eyes. Everyone was here supporting me as I finished my rehab experience.  "You did it!" My mum cheered. "You can finally come home!" Maya said with watery eyes.

Yes I can. I can come home with my family. I get to take Aspen to school and dance class. I can go to the grocery store with Maya. I will be able to take Aspen out for Daddy Daughter days again. Life is will unbelievable once again. "I'm so proud of you!" Simon patted me on the back. "I'm proud of myself as well," I told him.

Here I stood just spent a year in rehab for drinking and now I feel like a completely new person. I knew without the help  and love of Maya, I wouldn't have been able to get through this past year. Everything I went through I did with her in mind.  Every moment I carried her in my heart even when she didn't think I was, she was there.

(Maya's POV )

I watched as Liam walked around talking to everyone who came to support him today. I was so overjoyed for him, words couldn't began to describe it. "Today Daddy comes home?" Aspen asked me. "Yes ladybug, daddy gets to come home today!" I cheered. "Yay! I got to tell him!" She cried as she ran off to tell Liam the good news. Everything was making me cry today, but this made me cry the hardest. These two were my world.  My soon to be 5 year old daughter and my amazing husband meant the world to me and nothing could possibly ever change that. Even though we had our ups and downs, we always stick togeher. Love conquers all. It always will.

"I got something for you," Liam told me. "You did?" I asked him in complete shock. He just laughed and said, "Yeah I did."

He grabbed my hand and walked me to the center of the room. "Can I have everyone's attention for a second?" Liam asked. At once everyone stopped talking and turned to look at us. Liam looked at me and then started his speech.

"Maya Grace Payne, you are the best thing to happen to me. You came into my life and turned it upside down just over night. You have always been there for me, even when you left you still were on the phone all time.  We had the opportunity to travel the world together and we barely knew each other. You became family to the band and they won't admit but that was their favorite tour yet. As we spent more time together and experienced different things togeher I knew I couldn't spend a day without. Our wedding was beautiful and one of the best days of my life. Having Aspen was the second best day of my life. Have you there supporting me when you should have walked away, made me so confused, but I knew you loved me more than you probably should."

I laughed knowing it was true. Tears rushed down Liam's face as well as my face. "I couldn't imagine my life without you, and I'm sorry it took all of this to make me realize that. I want you to know that I'm a changed man, and I want Aspen to see that too. So will you marry me? Again?" He asked me.

Everyone awed and gasped around the room. "SAY YES MOMMY!!!!" Aspen cried. I just nodded and smiled. "Don't worry I have a new ring," Liam laughed.

(The next day)

Liam Payne is a free man after spending a year in rehab for his drinking problem. The Payne family was seen strolling the Grove earlier this afternoon. LA watch out there's a new parolee in town.

Liam Payne member of One Direction has completed his rehab program for this drinking addiction, but it seems he has no place to call home. An inside source tells us that Liam was left standing on the as his wife Maya Payne drove off with their 4 year old daughter Aspen in the car. Liam has no comment and has asked everyone to give him some space to readjust.

"Are you kidding?" I sigh as I read as I flip through the news channels. "Don't worry about it. We know what is true and that's all that is important, " Liam smiled as he set down next to me. I knew he was complete right, but it's just the fact of the matter. I hated what they were saying about him. I'm so glad we moved back to LA.

NOT.
