Chapter 3

"Naruto! Stay still!"

"Why's it that only our squad's teacher is late? The other squads have gone off somewhere with their new teachers, and Iruka sensei also left!"

"Don't look at me. Hey, what're you doing, Naruto?!" Naruto giggled as he placed the eraser on the top of the door.

"Hey!"

"It'll be his fault because he's late." Naruto said jumping off the desk.

"Man! You're asking for it!" Sakura says while her chakra tells a different story.

"Hmph, A jonin wouldn't get caught in such a weak booby trap." Sasuke said as Akiko continued to sleep while her sensory skills of guard.

"that's right!" Just then, someone came in through the door. His silver hair defied gravity as his headband covered his left eye and a mask to cover half of his face.

"Hahaha! I got him! I got him!" Naruto laughs.

"S-Sorry sensei. I tried to stop him, but Naruto did it on his own..." The jonin picked the eraser up.

"Hm, How can I put this? As for my first impression of you guys? Well, I hate you."

The four almost leaving Akiko behind, went to the rooftop.

"First off, let me have you guys introduce yourselves."

"What should we say?" Sakura asks.

"Your likes, dislikes, your future dream, hobbies, things like that! Like take me for example. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I don't have any likes or dislikes. About my plan for the future.. As for hobbies, I have many." The three began to speak about themselves.

Akiko sighed because it was her turn now to speak.

"My name is Akiko, just Akiko. I like sweets and to sleep. I don't dislike anything. About my plan for the future, probably to get stronger than my dad?"

"Your dad?"

"yea."

"I didn't even know you had one." Sakura mindlessly said. You glared at her.

"Then how was I produced?" you asked her and immediately became quiet and glared at you.

"Good, the four of you are very distinctive and interesting! We'll have a mission tomorrow!" Kakashi said as Naruto was overjoyed.

"What kind of mission is it?"

"We will be doing a survival exercise."

"Survival exercise?" We all said.

"This is no simple exercise." Kakashi said.

"Hey! What's so funny sensei!" Sakura said.

"Uh well, if I tell you, I know you're not going to be interested." He said waving his hand. His face quickly darkened.

"Out of all the 28 students, only 10 will be recognized as junior ninjas. The remaining 18 will go back to the academy. Meaning that this test if difficult with a failure rate of 66% or higher."

All of our faces grew to this (-_-)

"See? you got disinterested!"

"That's crazy! Then what was the graduation test for?!" You heard Naruto yell. You ignored the conversation, well only hearing that you can't eat breakfast and meet at 5 in the morning.

Oh hell nah, Imma sleep as much as I want and eat breakfast. Nuh-uh. Akiko thought as she walked off carefreely.

---------------- Next morning.

"Ohayo.." Sakura said sleepily.

The three waited to see Kakashi and Akiko. Little do they know that Akiko was in the trees resting peacefully. Hours and ours has passed waiting for the 2.

"Yo! Hi folks." Said Kakashi appearing out of nowhere.

"You're late!" Screamed Naruto and Sakura.

"Well, a black cat crossed my path, you see. Where is Akiko?" Kakashi asked.

Akiko POV

I was resting in the trees as Kakashi finally came.

"Here!" I said jumping out from the trees and yawning.

"How were you here?! We didn't even see you!" Naruto and Sakura shouted once again.

"Well, I came here 3 hours later and then I came." I said. The 2 gave me a look but gave up and sighed. Kakashi walked up to a clock.

"Good, now its set for 12:00."

"Today's assignment is to take these bells away from by noon. Those who can't won't get lunch and watch me eat it before your very eyes."

"But hold on, How is there only 3 bells?" Sakura said.

"Well, so that one person who didn't get the bell will be tied up and that He or she will be disqualified and be sent back to the academy. You can use your shurikens and kunais. You won't be able to take the bells unless you come at me with an intent to kill."

"B-But that's dangerous" Sakura said and Naruto agreed. I just looked at Sasuke who was determined and smiled as I put my hand behind my head.

"In the ninja world, those who aren't skilled enough tend to complain more. Well, just ignore the usuratonkachi.. Begin when I say the "ready-go" sign." He said as Naruto fumed. Naruto immediately charged for Kakashi but ended up getting backfired.

"I didn't say go yet Naruto, don't be so hasty." Kakashi sensei said, facing the kunai towards the back of Naruto's head.

No way, I didn't even see it...   Sakura thought.

So this is what a Jonin is... Sasuke thought.

"But that doesn't matter. At least you came at me with intent to kill. Hehe, how can I put this. I feel like I'm finally starting to like you guys. We're going to start. Ready.." We got into our stances.

"Start!" we all scattered.

Fundamentally, a ninja must mask their presence and hide.  Kakashi thought.

Akiko POV

These guys has hidden pretty well, I guess I can still sleep... I yawned. What a drag- dang, Shikamaru is rubbing off me. Akiko yawned once more as she used her sensory skills to find Kakashi.  Kakashi is most likely to be hidden well in the shadows, but too bad kakashi-sensei, the darkness is my domain. >:D    Oooooh, I found you! Akiko has found Kakashi-sensei's chakra as she manipulated the shadows as it reached into Kakashi's pockets and retrieved the bell giving it back to their monarch of the shadows. Hehe, gotcha Kakashi sensei! An evil smirk grew again over her face as she began to sleep, concealing her charka at the same time.

Akiko felt a presence nearing her.

"Who's there." She said immediately.

"Ho~" She heard Kakashi say. (jOtaRo!)

"You were asleep yet you were on your guard." But Kakashi then facepalmed.

"You didn't even try to help Naruto who was tied up, Sakura who was in a genjutsu, and Sasuke who was stuck in the earth. Hah.." But the the clock rang.

"Hehe! Sensei~ Time to go back!" You said as you walked towards Naruto who was tied up.

"You guys aren't going to go back to the academy." Kakashi said as Sakura and Naruto's face lit up.

"Yahooooooo!" Sakura screamed as Naruto gave his signature smile.

"yea! But instead, you have to quit being a ninja!" Kakashi said giving a wide smile under his mask.
