Part 57

13:39, 22 March 2026

"Fuck honey look at you," Beyoncé breathed looking down at the naked girl beneath her. Her clit was wet and firm as it rubbed against Ryan's. "So wet, so fucking sexy."

"Mmm— fuck it feels so good mommy," Ryan moaned gripping onto Beyoncé's hips. They were both so close, bodies sliding into each other, being as loud as they wanted and enjoying each others bodies.

Beyoncé thrust harder watching her eyelids start to flutter, "keep your eyes on me honey."

Ryan groaned, she didn't know why she wanted to close them on purpose. She loved when Beyoncé slapped her, when she hurt her so good Ryan could only moan.

Her eyelids closed, and, as expected, a sting rippled through her body. It felt so fucking good. So good. And Beyoncé loved it too. She gripped Ryan's neck as she rolled her hips into her.

Ryan gasped trying to catch her breath but those hands tightened around her neck. "Please," she rasped out, voice airy and thin.

"Hm, please what baby?" Beyoncé asked thrusting her hips even faster. Her head fell back as she continued thrusting.

"Uh," Ryan felt the last bit of air slip away from her. Her eyes rolled back and Beyoncé slapped her again, left hand still around her neck.

They were both so wet, clits slipping over each other. For a second Ryan thought this might be her favourite position. She loved watching Beyoncé get pleasure at the same time as her. She loved watching her chase her orgasm while she worked on making Ryan cum too. The feeling of her clit throbbing against her. Her body weight sitting on top of her, legs spread as wide as they could go.

Beyoncé's hips rolled and Ryan felt more oxygen slip away from her. Nothing mattered right now. She could only feel Beyoncé untying that knot in her stomach.

"Cum for me pretty girl, cum all over mommy's pussy."

"Uh," Ryan breathed out, controlled by Beyoncé's words. She felt her body twitch and started to convulse beneath her.

Beyoncé did the same, and her grip on Ryan's neck tightened. "Shit shit shit," she screamed, her body collapsing onto Ryan.

It took her a moment to look up and see the shorter girl, flat on her back and not moving. "Ryan?" She asked and the other girl didn't move. "Baby?" She questioned, reaching up to touch her.

"Ryan say something," she started to panic. Ryan was in the same position unmoving. She hadn't choked her that hard, had she?

Then Ryan shifted, her eyes and lips fluttering open. "Fuck," was all she said as Beyoncé started to plant kisses all over her naked body.

"You scared me honey," Beyoncé admitted, watching Ryan begin to open her eyes.

"Sorry," Ryan frowned. "What happened?"

"I think you passed out."

"Oh..." Ryan swallowed. Beyoncé continued kissing her body. Ryan knew she'd been afraid with how close she was holding her now. "I liked it though," she confirmed knowing if she didn't say that Beyoncé would've got into her head about it.

"I didn't mean to hurt you— well I did but not like that," Beyoncé said and Ryan could tell it had really affected her.

She loved this gentle side of Beyoncé but she wished she wouldn't worry so much. She was so good at the aftercare, so attentive and loving.

Ryan took Beyoncé's hand, which was twisting through her hair, and placed it on her chest right where her heart was. "I'm okay Beyoncé, see. I liked everything you did. It was good." She said.

Beyoncé eyed her, still wary. The way Ryan had gone so weak had scared her. "Are you sure honey? You'll tell me if I did anything wrong? I don't want to hurt you."

Ryan nodded, "I will, I promise. But nothings wrong." She paused waiting for the older one's breathing to relax above her. "I loved it." She whispered. She felt so shy admitting that. But under the darkness of the sky and the solace of Beyoncé's bedroom, everything felt finally okay. Like she could be into whatever she wanted without it being weird.

Beyoncé took a moment to feel Ryan's heartbeat. It was steady pumping in her chest. Ryan was just fine — a little sweaty from cumming so hard. But she was fine.

"We need a safe word or something you can do if you can't speak," Beyoncé said shyly. She was still so new to doing stuff like this, but she never wanted to hurt Ryan. Ever. And Google hadn't prepared her for when Ryan couldn't say anything.

Ryan nodded, yawning beneath her. "Can we speak about it in the morning though?"

Beyoncé chuckled and leaned up, pulling Ryan onto her chest. Ryan bit the inside of her lip before kissing the middle of her chest. "I'm sleepy," she said as her mouth reached Beyoncé's nipple.

"Oooh baby," Beyoncé tilted her head, still so sensitive from earlier. "Move to the side a little bit," she gently tugged Ryan's head from where it was.

Ryan smirked but she was way too tired to act on those feelings now. "It's okay, I'm not sucking them," she said, putting her mouth back on her chest and soon they both fell asleep just like that, Ryan's mouth wrapped around her breast.

Beyoncé was woken up by the sound of her front door opening. She'd been passed out beside Ryan, who was still fast asleep on top of her. The room was bright with sun as reached for her phone to check the time.

It was already 1pm and she had three missed calls. She couldn't believe she'd slept so late. Last night had been so much.

"Shit," she whispered to herself, nudging Ryan onto the pillow. Ryan didn't even stir as Beyoncé blinked herself awake.

If Brooke was home that meant she'd be bothering her soon. And she could hear footsteps. The door wasn't even closed. They were ass naked and exhausted as Beyonce forced herself up to at least close the door.

She also picked up a bra from right by the doorframe. They'd really got carried away last night. She'd had so much fun.

"Mom," she heard just before she could close the door.

Shit, she thought, that was close. She swallowed, reaching for a nearby robe as she responded.

"Mom can we talk," Brooke asked, trying her best not to look too much at the mess around the house.

Beyoncé closed the door behind her and swallowed. "Yeah, I need to talk to you anyway."

She followed Brooke downstairs into the kitchen, both deciding to sit down and have a grown up conversation. "I wanted—"

"Brooke I'm sorry," Beyoncé cut her off and Brooke almost stumbled over with shock. It wasn't that her mother never apologised, but it was rare. And she was being so stubborn lately.

"For what?" Brooklyn frowned, curious.

"I know I haven't been listening to you lately. You want to move out but I've just been so worried about you. I was so scared when you were on that table and I- I couldn't do anything to help you," she wiped just beneath her eyes. "I'm so scared that if you leave I won't be there to take care of you. You need someone to."

"Mom I can take care of myself," Brooke sighed, her body softening. She thought her mom was punishing her by not letting her move out. She'd started to question what she'd done to make her mom so mad at her.

"I know you can but your whole life I've been there," Beyoncé sighed thinking of the subject of her nightmares. Every single one was about her child and not being able to protect her. "And you have a baby now."

"I know, but mom I'll be fine. You know I can't be here."

"Brooke," Beyoncé rolled her eyes. "This is your home. You belong here."

"No mom, you literally—" Brooke groaned, forcing herself not to bring up Ryan and the fact she'd literally come home from giving birth to see her roommate lying on her couch painting her toenails as if she lived there. "Mom you can do whatever you want. It's your house, it's your life. But I don't wanna live here."

"Okay," Beyoncé sighed.

"And I'm sorry for what I said about dad, I was just upset." Brooklyn added. She'd felt bad about that for a while.

Beyoncé felt part of her heart swell. Brooke was really growing up right before her eyes. "It's okay my love." She sighed running a hand through her hands.

"I have to leave though mom, I'm grown now. I need my own space."

Beyoncé took a breath. "I just don't want you to think you have to leave. You always have a place here. I'm your mom."

"Okay mom," Brooke smiled sympathetically. She'd wanted to tell her mom that she was moving and she didn't care what she had to say but now she just wanted to talk to her mother. She missed her in a way.

"But I know you want to move out so you can if that's what you really want. I'll help you if you need it but you can't go too far." Beyoncé sighed. "I need to be able to see you everyday. And you can always come home, okay? Don't forget you can always come home."

Beyoncé had never understood those mothers who kicked their children out as soon as they turned 18. She never wanted to be like that. Brooke had a home and support until she wasn't there anymore.

"Mom..." she started but Beyoncé gave her a look and Brooke just nodded. There was no point in arguing about that.

"I'm still your mom. I still love you," Beyoncé said.

"I love you too but can you just say that next time?" Brooke rolled her eyes.

Beyoncé sighed because she sounded like Ryan. Maybe she had to express herself better. "It's been a hard year for us."

"Yeah I'm sorry mom. I know it's mostly my fault," she explained. She'd been holding a grudge for two years.

"My little Brooke bag," Beyoncé smiled, proudly. "You're growing up."

"Yeah," Brooke agreed. "I'm a mom now." She said thoughtfully.

"Yep maybe now you'll understand how hard it is."

Brooke chuckled, "maybe."

The next days passed comfortably for the most part. Brooke and Levi continued to look for apartments, leaving the baby home with Beyoncé who absolutely loved having him there.

Ryan was neutral on having him around, her only issue being when he got in the way of her sexy time with Beyoncé. But mostly it was daytime and they could do that when they were alone. Outside of that, Ryan liked the baby. He was cute and he didn't do much.

Ryan and Brooke continued to avoid each other, their animosity seeming to grow day by day. Beyonce and Levi both noticed it but said nothing, hoping that the two would figure it out on their own.

Beyoncé knew Brooke was still holding onto anger about Ryan, but they'd dealt with the issue of her moving out, so they avoided that topic for now. Beyonce even went with her to an apartment viewing.

Later that week, Solange and Julez were supposed to be visiting. Beyoncé was excited to see her sister but she had to prepare herself for the visit. She made sure everything was perfect about the guest room and set up the movie room for Julez, since he'd always liked to sleep in there.

When the rooms were done, she and Brooke talked a little about them all going to see her grandmother, Tina. Brooke didn't really remember much of her grandmother but she remembered her always having candy for her when she was really young.

"She's gonna meet the baby!" Brooke said excitedly just before the doorbell rang. They opened the door to see Solange and Julez both chewing gum and waiting for the door to open.

Julez couldn't believe Brooke had a kid now and after they'd all spent sufficient time gushing over the baby, he found himself upstairs talking to his cousin and her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Ryan was downstairs with Beyoncé and her sister. But Solange was acting strange. She wasn't hostile but she wasn't exactly welcoming. Beyoncé couldn't quite figure out what was going on with her sister but something was wrong.

Maybe she had an issue with them dating. Solange was quieter than usual. She hadn't said much about them being together, just nodding at everything as if it meant nothing

Eventually Ryan left them alone and Beyoncé looked at her sister, raising a brow. "What's wrong Solo?"

Solange sighed, "nothing Bey." She swallowed.

"Talk to me," Beyoncé said. "We're sisters."

Solange rolled her eyes. "I just... you should've called me Bey. I shouldn't have had to hear my niece was in surgery from some girl I barely know. You should've called me."

"Oh," Beyonce exhaled. She'd thought the issue was going to be about her and Ryan dating. But Solange had a point. "I didn't want to worry you," she explained. "I was so wrapped up in everything I couldn't talk to anyone. Shawn should've been there but thank God he wasn't. And then Ryan just showed up and she just started helping. She asked me who I needed to tell and I said you but you're right I'm sorry, I should've called you myself."

Solange sighed, "Bey you act like being older means you gotta take care of me all the time. I can be there for you too you know?"

Beyoncé looked at her. She wanted to believe that but she'd never even given Solange the chance. Beyoncé was older. Beyoncé took care of her. That's how it was supposed to be. That's how it had always been.

"Okay, I'll let you know next time Brooke has a baby," she laughed.

"Tuh she better stop at one for now. I don't need Julez getting any ideas in his head, I'm too young and hot to be a grandma."

Beyoncé shook her head. "Could you imagine? When the hell did they get so grown?"

"I mean... we were the same at their age," Solange smirked.

"Shut up, you was fast. I was married," Beyoncé raised a brow.

Solange rolled her eyes. "Whatever Bey, we got married before I popped him out didn't we?" She raised a brow and they both burst out laughing.

"I definitely thought it would be mine with the kid this young though." Solange laughed.

"Me too! I'm a much better mom than you are," Beyoncé teased.

"Sure you are, that's why Brooke's been complaining to me the past couple weeks, asking me why you're acting like a bitch."

"She did not call me a bitch," Beyoncé raised a brow.

Solange eyed her for a second, deciding if she wanted to throw her niece under the bus or not. "Maybe not in those words but she wants me to talk to you. As if you gon listen to me."

"At least you know," Beyoncé smirked at her.

"But seriously, what's the deal with this Ryan chick?" Solange wanted to call her sister a cougar but she held back.

Beyoncé rolled her eyes. "Brooke's just upset cuz they used to be roommates."

"Used to?"

"Yep she's officially a dropout. My daughter the college dropout," Beyoncé sighed. "She says she'll go back one day but who knows with her."

"You're still mad at her for that?"

Beyoncé shook her head. "She's mad at me."

"You sure? You sound mad Bey."

Beyonce sighed thinking about it. She wasn't mad. She just wished that things were different. Her and Brooke had been existing in this state of nothingness for a while. They didn't argue anymore but they weren't as close as they used to be. She missed that closeness.

"I just wish she could be happy for me," Beyoncé sighed. For the first time in years, Beyoncé had someone who truly made her happy. And Brooklyn hated it. That didn't feel right.

Solange sighed, eyeing her sister, tilting her face just the way Beyoncé did sometimes. "She's just getting used to it. She still remembers her mom and dad being together so this is new for her. Plus she does hate the girl."

"Hmph," Beyoncé let out a sound. "There's no real reason for her to be mad at Ry though," Beyoncé said, a little defensive of the other girl. Brooke being mad at Ryan made no sense. She was just lashing out and it didn't need to be aimed at Ryan.

Besides, Ryan was not the problem in the house. The problem was Brooke and maybe it had been Beyoncé's fault for expecting them to get along like they had after a year as roommates. But whatever it was, needed to be fixed.

Eventually Ryan was going downstairs to get something to drink when Beyoncé called her over.

"Honey," Beyoncé's eyes lit up when she saw the other girl walking down the stairs. Ryan looked at her before Beyoncé had to say, "come here."

Ryan did as told, relaxing into Beyoncé's arms. She missed being snuggled up with Beyoncé. It was weird being in her house without her. Ryan wanted to feel Beyoncé beneath her, their bodies close.

But Beyoncé's sister was there and Ryan didn't want to be selfish so she'd given them space but she was really over the space by now.

"What are we eating?" Solange asked.

"Oh I can cook," Beyoncé offered.

Solange and Ryan both looked at her sceptically and she threw her hands up. "Fine. Someone ask Brooke if she wants to cook or I'll just order us something."

Solange breathed a deep sigh of relief and Ryan laughed. "She's that bad?" Ryan asked. She'd still not tasted Beyoncé's cooking. She'd just heard it wasn't great and reactions like this made it sound terrible.

Solange started laughing before she spoke. "One time she made some really good Alfredo but then I started throwing up later."

"Shut up that was morning sickness," Beyoncé rolled her eyes.

"No it wasn't," Solange shook her head. "Ooh you so lucky she hasn't cooked for you. She must like you."

Ryan laughed. She couldn't be that bad... right?

The three talked while waiting for the food to arrive. Brooke had too much going on to be cooking and quite frankly, everyone else in that house should've been able to cook instead of relying on the girl who'd just had a baby.

When the food came, they all ate together, the 6 of them at the table and even little Levi was tucked into his bassinet on a chair. And the food was good too. Beyoncé made a mental note to order from there again.

She also tried her best not to stare at Ryan while she ate, but just 24 hours ago, that mouth was all over her.

Ryan was really enjoying this dinner. Meals with her own family was always so serious, her mom and dad making the whole experience of eating almost a chore. But Beyoncé's family was so relaxed. Solange wouldn't stop teasing her big sister and Beyoncé just kept whacking her right back. Everyone was in a good mood, even Brooke was less annoying.

Ryan was her usual quiet self but she jumped in when she had something to say. And everyone was laughing and smiling and getting full. Beyoncé even kissed her hand at one point, food in her mouth telling her that she loves her. Brooke was too busy explaining an inside joke to Levi to notice.

Ryan could get used to this. They were like Cocos family except no one was secretly feeling sorry for Ryan. She liked it. Even with Levi trying his best to make Julez think he was cool.

Ryan wondered if her and her sister would be like Beyoncé and Solange when they got older. Her little sister had always been slightly cooler than her.

That night Beyoncé walked into her room and found Ryan laid back on her phone, typing fast.

"Who are you texting?" She frowned.

Ryan didn't even glance up, continuing to type on her phone.

"Ryan," she repeated causing the other girl to look up. "Who are you texting?" She repeated.

"Nobody," she shook her head, rolling her eyes. Beyoncé was interrupting her conversation.

"Ry..." she was getting irritated now. Who the fuck was Ryan texting and why wouldn't she tell her?

Ryan found it amusing. She seemed so irritated, "some girl I know..." She answered calmly.

"Some girl?" Beyoncé's brow raised.

"Yeah." Ryan nodded absently.

Beyoncé's nostrils flared. "Ryan I swear if you don't tell me what—"

"Chill," Ryan said, still calmly typing on the phone, looking away from Beyoncé's glare.

Beyoncé turned and snatched the phone from her hands, holding it away from her as she lay back on the bed.

"Bey," Ryan whined pushing her slightly and rolling her eyes. But the older one didn't move, ignoring her instead as she held the phone back. "Bey," she repeated to no avail. "Beyoncé," she sang lengthening her name.

Beyoncé continued to ignore her until Ryan climbed on top of her, straddling her on the bed. Beyoncé looked up and Ryan took her glasses off of her face and slid them onto her own.

"Bey," she whispered on top of the older woman, eyes looking down into Beyoncé's. "I'll tell you who I was texting," she said.

Beyoncé just shrugged feigning disinterest. She didn't care if Ryan was talking to other people. Whatever Ryan wanted to do was her business. Whatever. She didn't care.

Ryan leaned down towards her mouth.

"Don't kiss me," Beyoncé mushed her as those lips reached for her.

Ryan rolled her eyes. Was she really acting this dramatic over Ryan being on her phone? She hadn't even looked at who she was messaging.

Ryan continued trying to kiss her, letting her lips graze the side of her ear while Beyoncé pretended it wasn't affecting her. "I love you." Ryan whispered in her ear.

"Mhm," Beyoncé's eyes rolled again, trying to ignore how Ryan's body heat felt on top of her, the way her lips trailed against her body. And how those kisses were going further along her neck.

Ryan let her hand slide along Beyoncé's body, pushing slowly up along her stomach. She felt the belly ring she was wearing beneath her clothes, the cold surface of the diamonds on her fingers. She continued to walk her fingers up, trying to get Beyoncé's attention.

Then she trailed her hand up higher, fingers dancing along her stomach until she reached those soft peaks of her breasts. Then her hand slipped beneath the lacy fabric and she felt them, bouncy and firm beneath her touch.

"Please mama can I make you feel good?" Ryan asked, pinching her fingers around her nipple.

Beyoncé said nothing, still pouting, and pretending to ignore how much Ryan was turning her on. Those fingers knew exactly how to touch her.

"Let me make it up to you mama," Ryan repeated, pinching even harder. She wanted to pull the top off of Beyoncé's head but instead she placed her face beneath her top.

Beyoncé watched her disappear, and then she felt the warmth of Ryan's mouth engulf her. She started to suck softly at first. And then her teeth were scraping along the hardened bud.

"Oh god," Beyoncé moaned, quietly cursing herself for making a sound. But she couldn't help it with the way Ryan was seducing her.

Ryan smirked, "is this good mama?" Her tongue licked over the bud again, teasingly.

Beyoncé nodded, knowing Ryan couldn't see her. She didn't need Ryan knowing how much this was affecting her.

Ryan sucked her nipple into her mouth and Beyoncé felt her entire body heat up. Her tongue ran over the nipple slowly, leaving a trail of saliva on her. Ryan's mouth around her was both a comfort and a turn on. And right now it was making her wetter.

Beyoncé pulled off her top so she could watch Ryan do this. Her hands stroked through Ryan's hair, as the younger girl focused on what she was doing. "Like that honey." She ran her hand through her tresses. "You look so pretty with your mouth on mommy like this."

Ryan felt every dirty thought she'd ever had swell inside of her pussy. She kept her mouth sucking though, closing her eyes so she could feel her properly. The older one felt amazing in her mouth, the bud of her nipple firm against the bouncy surface. She had the best body Ryan had ever seen. Those beauty marks always did something to her.

"Mamas getting so wet," she breathed. She couldn't hold back anymore. She was still whispering on account of there being 5 other people in the house that she didn't want to hear her. But it was hard when Ryan gripped onto her other breast, harshly pinching the nipple with her fingers. "I think you might make me cum just like this," she admitted.

Ryan smirked against her chest sucking a little harder. She flicked over the nipple and Beyoncé could feel the familiar warmth building between her thighs, her wetness sticking to her panties, the ball in her chest tightening.

"I need to get annoyed with you more often," Beyoncé bit down on the inside of her lip, breathing heavier. "You're making me feel so— fuck." She moaned, rolling her hips, craving the friction. If this was foreplay she didn't need anything else right now.

Ryan's hands closed around Beyoncé's nipple, flicking it with her index finger. Beyoncé's mouth fell open. Why was nipple play having such an effect on her?

"Baby I'm gonna cum," she admitted. It had to be something about Ryan. She was so gorgeous. So perfect touching her like this. Or maybe she was casting spells with her mouth.

Ryan's teeth grazed against the bud, Beyoncé's skin flushed. "Ryan," she hesitated. "Fuckkkk," she reached for Ryan's arm gripping it as ripples of pleasure shot through her.

Ryan leaned up and kissed her. She loved having that effect on Beyoncé. They made out in bed, the both of them rolling into each other, frolicking above the sheets, Ryan sucking her bottom lip into her mouth.

Beyoncé pulled her closer, "you're so fucking pretty." She told her.

"So are you," Ryan said and Beyoncé's eyelashes fluttered. The compliments from Ryan weren't as often, so she appreciated each one. They always felt natural, like Ryan really liked her and thought she was pretty instead of seeing the 40 year old she really was.

Beyoncé smiled back. "You gonna tell me who you was texting?"

Ryan chuckled, "just Zendaya. We gotta get a new roommate."

Beyoncé rolled her eyes. "Why didn't you say that?"

"Because it's more fun seeing you jealous."

"I wasn't jealous."

"Sure baby, you're not jealous."

"Shut up," Beyoncé leaned in, pressing her lips to Ryan's neck.

The darker girl hesitated. Beyoncé sucked her skin in, teeth grazing over her. "Make me," Ryan teased and Beyoncé lunged forward attacking her with her mouth.

They spent the rest of the night having quiet sex, bodies rolling into each other. It was almost time for Ryan to go home and Beyoncé was making use of every second with her.

They woke to silence, the only sound being the low hum of each other's bodies. It had to be around 8am, judging from the light outside. But they had a busy day ahead so Beyoncé pulled Ryan into the shower with her under the pretext of hurrying to get ready.

Once she was clean, and recovering from an orgasm, Ryan got up to get ready. The rest of that went by smoothly until Ryan got a call from her mom.

It wasn't that random, her parents called her at least once a month to make sure Ryan was okay and not messing anything up.

"Morning mom," Ryan forced a smile as her mom greeted her.

Her mom updated her on the family, letting her know that her aunt might be really sick but they were still waiting for some results. Ryan breathed deeply, listening and trying to have an appropriate reaction, but she didn't really know her aunt. She felt bad and then her mom started asking about her summer job and how that was going.

"Uh it's fine," she said, uncomfortably. She'd quit that job and not looked back. Her bank account was somehow fuller than before, thanks to Beyoncé. But she wasn't about to tell her mom any of that.

"What does fine mean? Are you learning anything?"

"Y-yeah," she stuttered. Beyoncé was pulling clothes on as Ryan tried to answer her mom's questions. She tried to not feel like she was being interrogated. But then she just stopped and took a breath. "I uh... actually mom I met someone." Ryan said.

Her eyes caught Beyoncé's and Beyoncé stopped putting on her jewellery, and looked at Ryan.

They'd never discussed Ryan telling her parents about her. Beyoncé had just left the topic alone figuring that was between Ryan and her parents. Ryan never brought it up and Beyoncé never really wanted her to, content to live in any bubble they created.

"You met someone? What does that have to do with anything? Of course you're meeting people."

"No mom I... I have a girlfriend."

"Girl... friend?"

Ryan could hear her mom practically short circuiting as if she really didn't know what Ryan meant. And maybe she didn't, back in her day people lied about those things and pretended they weren't there. Maybe she'd never noticed the way Ryan looked at other girls. Maybe she'd been so happy when Ryan was spending time with a boy that the idea of a girlfriend hadn't had a chance to fully enter her mind.

"Yeah girlfriend." Ryan confirmed. Beyoncé placed a hand in Ryan's, letting her know she was there for her as Ryan explained it to her mom. "There's a woman that I'm dating. She loves me and I—"

"You're gay?"

Ryan rolled her eyes. She wouldn't have called herself gay but she was definitely more gay than straight lately. And with Beyoncé she was the gayest she'd ever been. But now wasn't the time for conversations about identity.

"I love her mom," Ryan admitted, feeling Beyoncé squeeze her hand. The woodsy scent of her perfume stroked along her nostrils as Beyoncé got closer.

"No Ryan you're not gay." Her mom said plainly, dismissing whatever this was. "We'll come up and see you soon. When's your next break?"

Ryan sighed and let her mom talk and plan another visit. She had a feeling that might be their last visit. She would decide what she wanted to do with her parents based on how that conversation went. Her mom wanted to come "as soon as possible," so they settled on a weekend about a month away.

Beyoncé had been watching Ryan this entire time, her eyes scanning Ryan's listening to what she could hear of the conversation. She didn't know Ryan wasn't even out to her parents. They'd never spoken about it.

"Are you okay honey?" She asked when Ryan put the phone down.

The younger one nodded. "Yeah. I just wanted to tell her the truth." She shrugged. Not telling them was starting to feel like lying.

"You sure you're okay?" Beyoncé asked again.

"Mhm," Ryan said. She knew they wouldn't like her being gay so maybe this would be the final straw for that relationship. Ryan wasn't sure but she wasn't worried. "So what are we doing today?" She asked, actually smiling.

Beyoncé couldn't help smiling back before she answered. Ryan looked so excited for the rest of the day, like she had no worries any more. She felt like a weight had been lifted from her. She might change her mind in a couple months, but right now she felt free.
