Part 50
13:01, 1 February 2026Beyoncé didn't want Ryan to have space. Space sounded like a silk-cushioned path towards breaking up.
But Ryan had made up her mind and Beyoncé couldn't stop her. She needed to get away from the sexy blonde lady who filled most of her thoughts. So she got on that flight, arriving home early enough to make her final class.
Ryan got home to see her clothes lying neat and folded on the bed. Clearly they'd been washed for her. She frowned wondering what Zendaya had done but she figured she'd talk to her about it later.
She was nervous about running into Brooke still, since they hadn't spoken since that night. Beyoncé told her that Brooke was ignoring her messages, but it still seemed like Brooke was more upset with her mother than she was with Ryan so hopefully things would be fine when she saw her.
It was the week before the final week so there were parties throughout the dorms. Justine was clearly just getting back from one when Ryan walked out of her room.
She glanced at Ryan then looked away and then back. "Hey," they both said at the same time laughing.
Justine looked like she had something on her mind. Her eyes almost gleamed when Ryan asked "What's up with you?"
The other girl blushed. Her smile gave everything away. She was just the type of person whose secrets spilled from her pores. "I um... this guy I've been talking to," she giggled, kicking off her shoes.
Ryan raised a brow urging her to continue.
"He likes me. We've been talking a little bit but then," she swallowed as though she was nervous about the next part. "Tonight he was like all over me. He really wanted to... you know?" She chuckled nervously tucking in her lips.
Ryan gasped, "you did it?"
Justine shook her head quickly, "noo— I can't even say the word, I'm not ready for that." She laughed to herself. She knew it was mostly just curiosity and she didn't want to jump into anything she wasn't sure of yet.
"Proud of you friend," Ryan smiled. She was glad Justine hadn't done it just because she could. She remembered her talking like that some months ago so it was nice to see she wasn't letting the college pressure get to her. And that someone she liked also liked her.
"Thanks Ry," Justine smiled. "I get it now though, he made me so... ah!" She squealed and Ryan chuckled.
"Yeah just make sure you're not thinking with that," Ryan giggled. She needed to take her own advice.
"Mmm I remember what yall said," she chuckled. Then she raised a brow side eyeing Ryan. "So you and Brooke's mom?" Justine asked, cheeks bursting with impending questions.
"Oh god, she told you?" Ryan sighed plopping onto the sofa as Justine sat on the armchair.
"Z did but I can't believe it! You're really into her?" She asked.
Ryan nodded, she didn't want to say too much because that was Brooke's mom at the end of the day. But she was definitely into her. Very much so. And the feeling was mutual if Beyoncé was being serious that morning.
"That's so crazy, I mean I get it because she's really pretty for her age but— I mean um," she said noticing the look on Ryan's face. "I mean there is an age gap but you like the older women so I'm not really surprised. Honestly if you like it I love it but wow I didn't even think about you and Brooke's mom like that," she rambled.
Ryan shrugged, "yeah it kinda just happened."
"We need to swap lives. Stuff like that does not just happen to me," she laughed.
"I promise it just happened— she just loves me I guess." She wasn't trying to sound as cocky as it came out.
"I know that's right," Justine smiled. "You and Brooke need to work this out though, I hate it when y'all fight."
"We're not fighting," Ryan said. "I think she's more mad at her mom for not telling her."
"Yeah let's go with that," Justine said swallowing.
"Ugh," Ryan rolled her eyes. Brooke could be so childish sometimes. "Whatever I'm really not in the mood for it. She knows I love her mom and that's all that matters honestly."
"You love her?"
"I... yeah, I really do." She gulped. She hadn't said that to anyone but Beyoncé and in her rants to Coco. But there was so much that she loved about Beyoncé, from that cute little laugh to how protective she could be. Sure she had her flaws but what human being didn't? Maybe this space wouldn't last that long.
"Well I love that for you. I hope Brooke gets over it eventually, plus she got that lil baby on the way so she really should be focused on that instead of yall."
"Hopefully for Beyoncé's sake," Ryan rolled her eyes.
Ryan wasn't going to avoid Brooke this time so Brooke avoided her. If she saw her in the kitchen, she ordered food instead. If she heard her voice in the living room she'd wait and find something else to do.
Only once did she walk out and see Ryan sitting comfortably watching tv with Zendaya. They looked at each other and Brooke muttered a "hi." Ryan just nodded in response.
Ryan was waiting for an apology honestly. She knew it probably wasn't coming. But Ryan just couldn't believe Brooke was this mad at her.
Brooke really had an issue with her because she was dating her mom? It was her mom's business and Brooke didn't need to be bothered by what her mom did in her dating life. Ryan and Beyoncé had a connection, and it was actually really beautiful if she looked past the relationship they each had with her.
Beyoncé had FaceTimed Ryan every evening since she left. It had been about a week now and she decided to call her about an hour after she finished work.
"Hi honey," the deeper, raspy voice came through her AirPods and Ryan gawked at the woman on screen, with her curly blonde hair framing her face, lipstick coated lips and Ryan wasn't sure but the dress looked short.
"Hey," Ryan bit her lip, gazing into that hazel daydream. "You look..." she trailed off, eyes low and roaming.
Beyoncé smirked running a hand through her hair, "you like?" She asked, raising her brows, breasts tipping over, almost falling into Ryan's face.
Ryan nodded. She looked fucking sexy. Even her eyes had that 'fuck me' expression that worked even better with her makeup.
Ryan couldn't help looking her up and down, mentally undressing her, wanting to touch and be touched by her.
Beyoncé smirked. This was exactly the reaction she wanted. She wasn't even going anywhere, she just wanted Ryan to pay attention to her. Every other time they spoke it was like Ryan was being short with her, trying to get her off the phone, not giving her any answers about when she'd stop needing "space." Beyoncé needed answers.
"Thank you honey," Beyoncé lowered her voice. She could see the way Ryan was looking at her. She was definitely still attracted to her. Maybe now Beyoncé could finally get somewhere.
"Where are you going?"
Beyoncé hummed, "just out with some friends." She shrugged like it was nothing.
Ryan bit into her lip, "I'm kinda jealous." She admitted. "I should be taking you out."
"Thought you wanted space babygirl?" Beyoncé raised that same signature eyebrow.
Ran rolled her eyes, "I do but you look sexy."
"Mhm? You finally want me again?"
"I never stopped wanting you Beyoncé," she rolled her eyes again. "I just wanted a break..."
"You don't need a break honey. Let mama take care of you," Beyoncé added in a voice that was anything but innocent.
"Bey..." the other woman said, weakly sucking in her breath.
Beyoncé simply batted her eyelashes. "I want you to come stay with me for the summer," she said simply as if she was just offering her a drink, no commitment just one drink.
Ryan only had a few days left before she'd be free but she'd already figured she would stay where she was over the summer, try to get a better job and start being a real adult.
She still thought about her little sister and wanted to make things easier for her when she went off to college. If she wanted to do that, she needed money.
"I already told you I had a plan Bey," Ryan sighed.
"You can get a job down here honey, and you can come home to me every night," Beyoncé smirked.
Ryan rolled her eyes, a quiet tingle tugging her lips. That did sound good. And at least Beyoncé wasn't telling her she didn't need to get a job anymore and offering to just give her money.
Ryan noticed she tended to throw money at things, hoping that it would fix everything. Apparently Brooke did the same, leaving a couple hundred dollars with her laundry to replace any damage. She knew that was her way of apologising but it felt impersonal and like an easy way of clearing your conscience.
"You really want me to come?" Ryan asked, frowning.
"Of course I do, honey, I miss you."
"Hm," Ryan pondered. Maybe Beyoncé needed to miss her. "I'll think about it okay?"
Beyoncé nodded, still eyeing her like she was food. "Okay baby don't think too hard."
Ryan smiled, "you look so good." She couldn't help it. Beyoncé looked like sex on legs.
Beyoncé bit her lip, "you don't think it's too much?" She asked tugging at her jacket.
"Oh it's definitely too much, you should probably take it off," Ryan said with hopeful eyes, glinting under the pressure of the Beyoncé's gaze.
The taller one raised a brow and Ryan bit the inside of her lip. "I guess I do need to get ready for bed," she smirked, looking directly at Ryan and starting to remove her jacket.
Ryan's breath hitched as she watched the older one's skin slowly start to reveal itself, those arms she loved slowly coming into view. Those arms that held her, that fucked her, that loved her. With the cute little beauty mark at the top of her right arm.
Beyoncé took her time on purpose, carefully watching for Ryan's reactions. They'd never done this type of thing on FaceTime so they both held a certain level of uncertainty.
"You gonna take off the dress?" Ryan asked.
"It's a top but mhm," Beyoncé replied, her voice stroking the centre of Ryan's ears. The shorter girl could almost feel her honeyed scent engulfing her already as she spoke. Then the sound of a button popping hit her ears.
"You okay honey?" Beyoncé asked.
The younger girl hadn't turned away, so distracted she hadn't even realised Beyoncé had lied about having plans, her only scheme being to tease and tempt Ryan.
"Uh huh," Ryan replied, lips parted and mouth dry at the idea of Beyoncé's breasts finally being revealed to her. She felt like she was in a porno, heartbeat stilling to watch the scene play out.
Beyoncé's motions slowed, "oh honey, you look so focused. Is that just for me?" She raised a brow, slightly teasing, her arms moving to the parting of her clothes.
"Uh huh," Ryan nodded, forcing herself to remember to swallow. All she could think about were those perfect breasts, areola spread and nipples staining against the fabric. But Beyoncé was taking her sweet time with this.
Ryan couldn't help imagining taking it off for her, kissing her neck while she did it. She hadn't heard Beyoncé moan in a while. Unless you counted how turned on she got from spanking Ryan the other night.
Then Beyoncé's breasts finally popped out. Ryan felt her clit tingle, practically drooling at the sight of her, before Beyoncé turned away. Then she moved the camera quickly, getting shy as Ryan asked if she was okay.
"Uh huh, I'm just..." she trailed off. She thought she could do it but then the idea of Shawn popped into her head. She'd always wondered how he knew all this stuff about her, whether he was hacking her phone. Otherwise she had no idea why he always knew her location. "I can't..."
"It's okay," Ryan said instantly. "I'm gonna call you back okay?" She said hanging up the FaceTime and calling Beyoncé normally. She would've just told her to turn off her camera but clearly the older one was flustered.
"Hey baby Bey, you okay?" She asked gently.
"Baby bey?" Beyoncé chuckled.
"Mhm for when you're being cute," she replied easily.
Beyoncé smiled. Ryan had a way of treating her like there wasn't an age gap between them. She spoke like they were equals, both in age and in everything else. Beyoncé liked how it made her feel. Ryan was so much younger but when they spoke those years disappeared.
The sexy mood was gone now but the two continued talking. They talked about life in general, neither of them mentioning that moment and brushing past the awkwardness.
Neither of them mentioned Ryan going to stay with her either. If Ryan wanted to know, Beyoncé would've told her that she had planned for her arrival, getting snacks she knew she liked to fill the cupboards and a couple little dresses and some jewellery for her. She'd also been thinking of dates they could go on, looking up cute spots around the city they could go to together. She wanted Ryan to meet her friends properly. Chris seemed so excited by her existence.
Eventually they both got tired and Ryan hung up, forcing herself to say goodbye. Beyoncé was just so easy to fall into but what happened when Ryan got tired of falling? She worried about that, whether either of them were ready.

Brooke went home a week later, still attempting to give her mom the silent treatment. This went on for about 5 hours before Brooke couldn't help but tell her how she felt.
"You could've told me," Brooke spat, interrupting Beyoncé's tv show.
Beyoncé sighed, "I was going to tell you that morning."
"You should've told me earlier."
Beyoncé rolled her eyes, "would it have made a difference? You'd still be upset."
"Yes mom, it would've. You should've told me when it started."
"Why?" Beyoncé argued. "You didn't need to know then." What was she supposed to tell her? Oh I'm sleeping with your friend, it's mostly casual but the orgasms make me feel alive every time.
"Yes I did— I just... why are you doing this to me?" Brooke tugged at the string around her robe. She was glad it was summer because the pregnancy was really starting to show now. She couldn't have hid it for much longer, lying about just overeating.
"I'm not doing anything to you? I fell in love," Beyoncé sighed. She sighed because she missed Ryan. She missed those soft pillowy lips and the way she would tuck them in, when she was thinking about something.
Whilst Brooke had gone home, Ryan had stayed at college claiming she still needed to be alone for a while. Ryan's parents wanted her home but she just couldn't go back there. She didn't want to be berated for just existing. So instead she stayed in her dorm room. Zendaya was there too, but Justine had also gone home.
"Love?" Brooke asked, turning up her nose.
Beyoncé nodded. What more could she say?
"I don't like you mom."
Beyoncé rolled her eyes, "wow I had no idea." She said sarcastically.
"Mom, I just... I don't understand."
"You don't have to. I'm tired of trying to explain myself to you."
"I'm jus—"
"I can't just do everything for you, I have to live my own life you know?" Beyoncé explained. "You stop me from doing things all the time, I'm always thinking about you and how things are gonna affect you. If it was just me...." She trailed off not wanting to say something she'd regret.
"If it was just you then what? Your life would be better without me?"
"I'm not saying that I just," she grabbed a chunk of her hair to play with. "I would've left your father before I did or at least I would've gone to court about his harassment before. For once I just wanted to do something for myself Brooke."
"Mom you can't blame me for that. If I knew he was doing that, I would've told him to stop," Brooke's face scrunched up.
"I'm not blaming you, I'm just letting you know that I don't tell you everything because I want to protect you."
"You gotta stop hiding sh- stuff to protect me. I'm grown now, I can hear the truth."
Beyoncé caught the slip up, eyed her and then spoke. "If you're grown then act grown. Getting pregnant isn't a way to prove that."
Brooke sighed as they rehashed that old argument about her being pregnant. Brooke still had the baby growing inside of her and Beyoncé would just have to be mad about it. Then Brooke brought the subject back.
"You could've been with anyone else and I wouldn't have cared," Brookes eyebrows twitched together.
"I know, Brooke, and I'm sorry but you're just gonna have to get over that," Beyoncé sighed.
"And how do I get over you lying to me?" She raised that her eyebrow and Beyoncé couldn't help but see her own face in her daughter's eyes. They looked so alike sometimes.
"Just be happy I was only lying to spare your feelings and not to hide a drug addiction."
Brooke glared at her. "You can't just bring that up to get out of this."
"I can't? Look at your childhood and look at mine."
"But that's not my fault—"
"You have it easy and you still chose to—"
"Mom stop changing the subject," Brooke stilled, glaring at her mother. "You lied to me"
Beyoncé sighed, taking a second to think and stop deflected. "I'm sorry I lied to you Brooke bag," she said sincerely.
"How do I know you won't do it again?"
Beyoncé and Brooke talked for another hour and Brooke decided she was still mad. Her mom had manipulated her feelings so easily. It made her uncomfortable. How many times had she done that? What else was she lying about?
Brooke went up to her room, calling Levi to talk. He was home with his sisters who had a lot to say about him getting a girl pregnant. His older sisters had basically raised him but they hadn't exactly had a comprehensive sex talk with him. "Don't get anyone pregnant" was all they'd said and he truly hadn't meant to get her pregnant.
He also didn't think Brooke would want to keep the baby. Almost no one wanted her to have that child but here she was almost ready to pop out a mini version of the two of them.
He lay back talking to Brooke about their relationship. "We go together."
Brooke rolled her eyes, "why you wanna be with me? I'm fat now."
Levi bit his lip. She was a little chunkier but that was sexy to him. Also she was pregnant. "Brooke shut up, you know you want me."
"I—" she slammed her mouth shut, still not ready to admit it. "Are you gonna be here when the baby comes?"
"Yeah I'm trying to figure it out with my job but I'll be there."
Brooklyn hummed, lying on her back. "Who would you be more mad at? Ryan or my mom?"
Levi thought about it, actually picturing himself in her shoes. "Your mom's the one that lied," he said.
"But Ryan also screamed it at me in the middle of a fight. Who was I supposed to believe?"
"But Ryan's part of the reason we're together so I can't be too mad at her."
"What?" She asked. Levi and Ryan seemed cool but they were never friends. Just classmates who got on.
Levi started to speak, "I wanted to ask you out for like a month before I actually did. I wasn't sure if you'd like me for real, I didn't even know if you liked guys. So I asked Ryan what she thought since y'all were basically besties back then and she told me to go for it."
Brooke swallowed. She didn't know that.
————————————[A/N] Thoughts? Justine and Ryan talking about bey?
Bey and Ryan's moments together? Ryan really wants this space and Beyoncé doesn't like it 😭
And thoughts on Brooke? My most controversial character. The argument with her mom? Her and Levi's conversation?
