Gichii was sitting in his room he was working on his homework when his dad barged into the room, Gichii jumped when his father walked in, "Gichii Tomioka. I got a call from your teacher today. You were sleeping in class?" Gichii's father asked, "I-I'm sorry! I-I was really t-tired an-" Gichii got cut off by his father slapping him harshly across the face, "Did I ask why?" His father asked, Gichii shook his head 'no', "I don't EVER want to get a call from your teacher again, do you hear me, DO YOU?!" He yelled, Gichii couldn't hold back his tears anymore, he sobbed as his father continued to yell at him. Before his father left, he was punched in the stomach causing Gichii to vomit, though nothing came out.

Gichii tried to calm himself down when all the sudden Tsutako walked in, "Oh Gichii!" Tsutako cried she had a few hicky's on her neck; she was crying, "T-Tsutako? What's that on your neck...?" Gichii asked, "I-It was just dads friend, Koyami..." She said, "D-Did he hurt you?!" Gichii asked concerned, "No...He just, put makeup on my neck is all..." Tsutako said as she pulled him into a tight hug, "I'm so sorry, I'm sorry.." Tsutako said now crying. She didn't want to tell him what happened he'd be devastated. Tsutako began to brush through Gichii's hair with her fingers.

Tsutako carefully placed him down on his bed before tucking him under the blanket and leaving the room. She'd be back for him soon.

"P-Please stop father! I'm sorry! I can do it right now just please don't hurt him!" Tsutako begged, "Too bad you slut! He should've done it hours ago!" Their father yelled, "Ah-!" Tsutako screamed, "AHH! P-Please stop this! What did I do wrong?!" Tsutako cried their father had punched her in stomach before storming off to his room, "W-Wait! I-I'm sorry! Just please.....don't grab that..." Tsutako pleaded. Ever since their mother died, Noyama she was a sweet woman and always took care of them they were much happier with her around, sure their father was still an asshole but he's gotten much worse. Sure, he was still abusive back then even, but now that their mother was gone no one could help protect the two children, she died of an unknown illness "I promise....to look after you......from...above...." those were their mothers last words before her heart stopped, Gichii and Tsutako were hurt, devastated, broken.

Noyama Tomioka, 1985 - **** "I'm sorry I left you.." Her grave read, Gichii didn't want to believe it, their mother was dead.. he quickly fell into pit of sadness unable to take care of himself, he was only 10 he didn't deserve this-they didn't deserve it. "Hey Takomo!" Koyami screamed, their father walked up to the room where the noise came from, dropping his belt, "Yo, what's up?" Takomo asked, "I'm finished with her, here's your money." Koyami said as he handed him a fair amount of money, "She's quite good, but she needs to learn how to stop sobbing when I do this." Koyami stated as he grinned, Takomo nodded, "Come back anytime!" Takomo said as he made his way to Tsutako, whom was carrying Gichii, Tsutako's eyes widened when she laid her eyes on her father. She quickly ran out the door clutching on to Gichii, she didn't want to lose him, she couldn't lose someone dear to her, not again, she loved Gichii as much as she loved her mother, she hated their father. "Tsutako Tomioka! Get your ass back here you fucking slut!" Their father yelled at her, her grip got stronger as she ran into a store, she was sobbing the costumers caught on to this.

Some rushed over to her and Gichii, "Miss, are you okay?" A soft voice asked clearly concerned, "M-My father...please help my brother!" Tsutako pleaded. She quickly woke up Gichii, "Ts-Tsutako? What are we doing here?" Gichii asked, "Were here for help. Father went to talk with his friend...so I took my chance and took you right before I could leave father caught me, so I had no other option but to run, I ran a good 4 blocks before stopping." Tsutako explained quietly, quiet whispers were heard around them, "Your father? What does he do to you?" One of the workers asked, "Shizu Shinazugawa" read the nametag, the doors burst open, "Tsutako Tomioka, come back here." Takomo demanded, Tsutako quickly turned around to see no other than her father.

She quickly gave Gichii to Shizu, "Please make sure he doesn't get hurt!" Tsutako pleaded, as tears streamed down her face once more, "Tsutako! Please don't go! Please!"Gichii cried, Tsutako gave him a familiar hand signal, Gichii knew it all too well. He knew she'd be back.

She walked towards their father, in an instant Takomo grabbed Tsutako by the hair receiving a yelp in response. She was quickly dragged out of the store by their father, Gichii got bombarded with questions, "Are you okay?" "Does he abuse you?" these were the ones asked more than others, "Guys! That's enough, he looks only to be about 13, you're overwhelming him." Shizu said, Shizu carefully placed Gichii on the ground, "How old are you?" Shizu asked, "twelve..." Gichii whispered, "Your name?" Shizu asked, Gichii stayed quiet, "My mom said... not to tell strangers... my name...I'm sorry.." Gichii apologized, "It's okay sweetheart.." Shizu reassured "What does your father do to you?" Someone in the crowed asked concerned, "Father....hurts me and big sister Tsutako...she came in my room earlier today....she had....marks here.." Gichii said as he pointed to his neck, "Father....had a friend over.... and he gave father....money...I heard Tsutako's name...he said she was good in bed....but needs to learn how to stop....sobbing...." Gichii paused to see the people's reactions, "Sweetie.....where's your mother..?" One of them asked Gichii's eyes shot open, "M-Mom's....dead..." Gichii announced.

The doors to the store burst open again to reveal Tsutako, she had a few cuts on her legs but she didn't care, "Thank you so much!" Tsutako thanked as she pulled out some money and stuffed it in Shizu's hand "Miss! No ne-" Tsutako had left with Gichii, whispers were heard again before people went back to shopping.

Tsutako ran to her best friend Goto's house, she hastily knocked on the door, it took a few minutes but Goto's mother opened the door, "Hello?" She asked, "Hi! I-I'm Goto's best friend, Tsutako, it's nice to meet you Mrs. Harukichi!" Tsutako bowed, "I see and who's this?" Harukichi asked pointing at the smaller figure in her arms, "This is my little brother Gichii, I took him with me, I hope that's okay!" Tsutako bowed once more, Harukichi looked at them both, "Oh my. Are you two alright? Tsutako, you're bleeding!" Harukichi stated concerned, "I'm alright Miss!" Tsutako protested, "Please come in!" Harukichi said stepping to the side, Tsutako walked in closing the door behind her quickly.

"I'll get you some spare clothes, I hope they fit you, please wash up in the bathroom, its right there." Harukichi pointed to a door down the hall. "Thank you so much, please let Goto know that I'm here Miss!" Tsutako bowed once more, she headed towards the door Harukichi pointed to, she opened the door to see a fairly sized bathroom, she placed Gichii down, "Hey, Gichii, can you wait for me outside? You can ask Mrs. Harukichi for some clothes.." Tsutako whispered to her younger brother, Gichii nodded as Tsutako closed the bathroom door, Harukichi came back with some clothes, "Hello sweetheart...Can you hand these to your sister?" Harukichi asked, Gichii nodded, "Thank....you..." Gichii thanked as he took the clothes from her hand and lightly knocking on the door lightly. "Just a second!" Tsutako stated, and 10 seconds later she came opened the door, "Yes?- Oh hi Gichii!" Tsutako smiled, "She....gave you clothes..." Gichii stated as he handed Tsutako her clothes, "Thank you Mrs. Harukichi!!" Tsutako yelled, "Of course!" Harukichi yelled back.

Both Gichii and Tsutako had gotten cleaned up, now they were sitting in Goto's room, "So, what brings you here?" Goto asked, "Father." Gichii stated as he continued to play with Tsutako's hair, Gichii went with three separate braids (AHEM AHEM) each one having red bows at the bottom. "I'm done....Tsu Tsu..." Gichii states as he gives her a mirror, "Awh! It's so cute Gichii!!" Tsutako smiles widely at her younger brother, "Hey, good job Gichii." Goto complements "O-Oh...Thank you Sir..." Gichii smiles.

Goto nods before he lets Tsutako finish her sentence, "Hey, Gichii? Could you step out for a minute?" Tsutako requests Gichii nodded and walked out the room, he slowly closed the door not wanting to create any noise. Once Gichii stepped out Tsutako began to talk, "His friend came over again...." Tsutako announced, "Oh god..." Goto "He....raped me....my father basically sold my body to his friend, he threatened to kill Gichii, what was I supposed to do? I can't let him hurt Gichii!" Tsutako sobbed "I couldn't do anything! I-I don't want to see him hurt anymore! He goes to school all bruised and beat! How can he get out of anything? He even gets bullied! What the hell am I supposed to do?! I'm only 16...." Tsutako cried Goto pulled her into a thigh hug, "Once you're 18...please move out of this town, Tsutako..." Goto asked, "I will..." Tsutako smiled weakly.

But...that day would never come, as Tsutako was murdered her own fiancé killed her, Gichii was 16, and now he live alone with his father, he didn't want to his father became worse, "Get ready you fucking useless bitch." His father would constantly degrade him, he'd hit him, cut him. Sell him. Gichii went to school looking like shit, he was in 10th grade...he didn't deserve any of this -they didn't deserve this.

It became a habit of Gichii's to cut himself, when Tsutako was 17 she caught Gichii trying to slit his throat, she sobbed for hours not letting go of Gichii, she pleaded that he wouldn't try anything like that. Gichii had a friend he made this friend in 5th grade, he was still being relentlessly bullied but, this person got fed up, Sane Shinazugawa that name piqued his interest, 'Shinazugawa' it sounded awfully familiar to him. But, he couldn't pin-point where he knows it from, during recess, a group of 5th graders, Loymia Toko, Haruhi Sonya, Goiyma Noyama, and Fukuichi Akoi, they would beat him before the teachers could catch them in the act, they wanted some sort of reaction out of him, something they could use against him, but Gichii didn't react. His eyes were lifeless, cold, Sane saw them bullying Gichii and stepped in, "Thats enough of this! Do you realize how pathetic you look bullying someone for your own pleasure? Is this fun to you? Thats embarrassing! Leave before I make you." Sane threatened, "Thank......you......sir...." Gichii blinked blankly at Sane, "It's nothing, let's get you to the nurse, okay?" Sane said as he extended his hand for Gichii to grab.

Gichii hesitantly grabbed Sane's hand, Sane pulled him up, "Let's get you a pass okay?" Sane said as he dragged him to a teacher, "Sir, can we get a nurse pass?" Sane asked, the teacher inspected Sane, then looked at Gichii, the teacher grabbed a paper and just handed them it "Yes! Go ahead you two!" The teacher panicked, Sane dragged Gichii to the nurses office and Gichii immediately got taken care of, "So, Gichii what happened?" The nurse asked, "Kids.....hit...me...." Gichii mumbled, "And who are these kids?" he asked, "....Can't...tell.." Gichii stated, the nurse sighed he knew Gichii was resilient when it comes to not talking, so he didn't push it.

"You're free to go back to class, okay? Be safe kiddo." The nurse said, "T-Thank you...Mr. Loupori..." Gichii said as he headed out the door, Sane saw him walk out and stood up, "Who do you have?" Sane asked, "Miss....Fukio.." Gichii said "We have the same teacher? How come I never noticed you?" Sane asked, "B-Back of.....class" Gichii stated, "Ohhh..." Sane awkwardly smiled, "Well, let's go then." San said before he began to drag Gichii to their classroom.

"Sorry were la-" Sane cut himself off as only the teacher was there, "Hello, how can I help you two?" Fukio asked, "Is it alright if we stay here until the end of recess?" Sane asked Fukio smiled at the, before nodding, "Of course!" She agreed. And that was where they started.

5th grade friends went to 6th 7th 8th grade best friends, to 9th 10th best friends and now, 11th boyfriends.

<< Let's go back to the present >>

Today was Tsutako's death anniversary Gichii got up realizing what time it was, "10:31?!" Gichii practically screamed as he got up in a rush, he threw on a pair of camo cargo pants, a black t-shirt and a black jacket some converse and he threw his backpack over his shoulder leaving his hair down before grabbing his keys and running out the door and running to school.

Once Gichii arrived, he quickly checked in "I-I Apologize...for...being late..." Gichii panted, he quickly got checked in and walked to his class, Gichii knocked on the door it took a few minutes but the teacher opened the door, "You're late, Tomioka." The teacher pointed out, "I'm sorry, sir I woke up a few seconds ago..." Gichii bowed, the teacher let him in Gichii walked in before he felt everyone's eyes on him. Its either because 1.He has his hair down, or 2. He came in late. Whether that was why it still felt weird he sat down next to Sane, "Hey," Sane greeted, "Hi...Sorry I'm late." Gichii apologized, "No need to apologize all the time, also you look good with your hair down." Sane flirted, "T-Thanks.." Gichii blushed Sane leaned in and kissed behind Gichii's ear, no one knew they were dating, not even Shizu knew, that's when it clicked in Gichii's head, 'Shizu Shinazugawa, that same lady who...helped me and Tsutako with that ugly bastard..' Gichii thought to himself.

Gichii was so lost in thought that he didn't realize that Sane was tapping him, Gichii was quickly knocked out of his trans of thought turning to look at Sane, "Yes..?" Gichii asked "The teacher wanted you to answer the question." Sane stated pointing to the teacher, "Oh...its.......286.." Gichii responded, "Thank you, Tomioka." The teacher said turning around and continuing the lesson. Before he knew it, it was lunch Gichii and Sane made their way to the lunch room "Uh....Sane..." Gichii started Sane hummed showing he was listening "Today is my sisters anniversary..." Gichii sighed, "You have a sister?" Sane asked despite knowing Gichii for so long, he never knew about his personal life he really knew that he used to bullied. "Do you want me to come with you wherever?" Sane asked (I DONT KNOW IF I MADE HIM KNOW ABT TSUTAKO IM SO SORRY) "No...It's okay, I just might not be here tomorrow, I thought I'd let you know..." Gichii smiled weakly.

It was the end of the day and Gichii made his way towards the store, he walked in and the store attendant greeted him, Gichii bowed before heading to the flowers. He bought her favorite kind, Orchids they were red with white speckles on the petals, Gichii picked up the flowers and went to the register "That will be 500¥!" The employee said as he put the code in. Gichii handed him the Yen and took the flowers, "Thank you.." Gichii bowed before walking out. Gichii walked to the graveyard, he walked around looking for a certain part of land, 'Tsutako Tomioka....Tsutako Tomioka...' Gichii read in his thoughts he was looking for her grave.

Once Gichii found it he placed the flowers down, "Hello, Tsutako....How are you..?" Gichii asked knowing he wouldn't get a response "I'm sorry I couldn't be there to help you..." Gichii's voice broke, "I'm so sorry father treated you the way he did.....how he sold you off like it was noting..." Gichii cried, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry...I'm sorry..!" Gichii sobbed, "I'm so sorry! I wish I could've been there, I'm sorry....I'm so sorry! I-I don't know how much longer I can live without you..." Gichii apologized relentlessly, the only thing keeping him alive is Sane, "I hope you're doing well up there, Tsutako.." Gichii laughed at himself, "Hehe...I'm sorry, I'm such a mess..." Gichii laughed, "That bastards dead. The same unknown disease got him too." Gichii stated smiling he hated him and he's glad he's dead for good.

"Goodbye...Tsutako, I'll be back on your birthday..." Gichii said as he began to walk away. When Gichii got home, he shut the door and slid down the door and sobbed, he missed her, she didn't deserve to die in such a way, she was too kind, naive and when she was asleep, her fiancé stabbed her, not only once, but enough for her to scream in agony, not only did it take 6 month to find out who did it, but her own fiancé almost got away with such a brutal act. Fortunately, he's in jail now, so he didn't have to worry anymore.

Gichii eventually calmed down, he pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contact looking for a contact named: Sane 💕he began to type, "Hey" Sane replied in seconds, "Hey, are you going to make it tmr?" Gichii smiled, "Yeah i think i can at least" he replied, "Ok, I'll see you tmr, love you!" Sane replied, "I love you too <3" Gichii replied. He plugged his phone in and placed it on the side table, he had moved to his room so fast he didn't even realize that he did. He grabbed some pajamas and got changed before sliding under the blanket and drifting off into sleep.

A/N: Hello! So sorry for any slow updates, as some may know I've been working on rewriting the first few chapters, and I'm so glad with how they turned out afterwards! Yes, I'm still working on chapter and 4 before trying to re-connect it with chapter 5 which is when I began to get better at writing, so if I can make a connection to chapter 5, I'll be very impressed with myself.
