Chapter 13: In another life

After Giyu's death...Sanemi quickly fell into a depression, he wouldnt eat, all he could do was cry, he wanted it to be his 25th birthday.

Giyu's funeral soon came, all the surviving  hashiras went to it, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, Aoi, and Kanao + the Girls went. Uzui and his wives went too, all were devastated, more so Sanemi, he couldnt stop crying, many cried, Tanjiro and Sanemi were the most effected, Giyu meant a lot to them. Tanjiro couldt stop crying, as he clutched on to his crying sister, Nezuko. Nezuko and Tanjiro thought of Giyu as an older brother, another family member...as the funeral ended, Sanemi hugged his lovers once alive corps, as he cried once more.

Sanemi's mental heath hit the fan, he couldnt, on multiple occasions, he found himself cutting, he wanted to stop...but, he couldnt, he would wake up in the bathroom, a pool of blood around him, one day, he wished that the blood would kill him. Without Giyu, Sanemi was nothing. 

Sanemi had yet another sleepless night of crying. Sanemi's body soon also felt weak, he could barely walk, he knew it was happening, and with a faint smile, the night went dark...though, his body jolted awake, not letting him die, he was 24, not 25; 'why..?' Sanemi thought. Days, weeks, and hours passed, nothing was happening, he couldnt write, he never knew how to. So, he called a crow, he wanted to spend time with his friends.

As more and more came to his house, he smiled, "So what do you need Shinazugawa?!" Uzui asked, his voice booming per usual, "Holy shit! You look like crap!" Uzui laughed, "Heh...Yeah.." Sanemi sighed in response.

"I just....wanted some company." Sanemi chuckled, "I brought my wives if you dont mind!" Uzui giggled, "Hey..." Sanemi weakly said, Uzui hummed in response, "My body's getting weaker too, I think im next.." Sanemi slightly smiled, this however, didnt go unnoticed "HEY! You shouldnt be happy about that..." Uzui frowned, Sanemi couldnt help but cry, tears fell, Uzui started to comfort him "Hey...I know you miss him...I do too, we're here for you, alright?" Uzui comforted.

Sanemi hugged Uzui, "Hey, let it all out bud.." Uzui hugged back, a few minutes passed, as Uzui and his wives got drinks, (DW THE KAMABOKO SQUAD IS WATCHING THEIR CHILD) As they all got drunk, they became more stupid, they all ended up falling asleep after what felt like 50 drinks (it was 25).

It was now November 27th, "Just two more days.." Sanemi laughed, nights felt like forever, Sanemi's health got even worse, he couldnt even eat anymore, every time he did, he'd just puke, to his body wouldnt function, and to his dismay, he couldnt even stand, though, he never really tried to do so. Sanemi began to fall sick, he would cough and vomit on random occasions.

November 28th, time, 11:47 P.M.

" I know some of you know, tomorrow is my birthday..." Sanemi paused, he had gathered them for his last day on earth. "...And id like to spend it with you all, you guys have been there for me at my lowest of lows, highest of highs, and even when....Giyu died.." Sanemi stopped.

"So, lets have fun for the rest of this night" Sanemi smiled weakly, "HAI!" Everyon (-Sanemi) said in sync, they all had fun, Sanemi said that they could stay the night, he wanted his last moments with those who he hold dear, they played board games, and spin the bottle truth or dare!

However. Those fun moments came to an end, Sanemi and the others werent prepared for what would happen when Sanemi died.

Sanemi started to choke, he crawled to the bathroom, he knew it, he was going to puke, but...instead he started to shoot out blood, "ACK!" Sanemi screamed, "AH!" Sanemi screamed pain rushing through his body, this woke up Uzui and Zenitsu, they had gotten the others up, "SHINAZUGAWA!" The others rushed in, however; he was gone, a pool of blood under him. HE had died...

'In another life...Giyu...'

"Is that really how they died?" Giyu's reincarnation (also named Gichii ) asked, "WOAH! I was even named after him!" Giyuu boomed, "Heh, yeah dumbass, I am too." Sane said (Sane, Sanemi's reincarnation).
