Not only were the hashiras in shock, some were hurt. The harsh words the Water hashira spat out cut deep, to Shinobu, Kanae's death is something she will never forget, so when she hear Giyu spit those words out, she felt like she was going to break down in tears.

As for Sanemi, the words the black haired male said, angered him, he wanted to hurt him, he knew if he did that he would feel a sense of guilt, so he let him walk off, but those memories...

He knew Genya was young, he knew he was confused, but he still pushed him away, he never wanted his brother to join the corps, so when he did, he kept his distance. His heart ached, his heart ached not only because of what the Water hashira yelled, but because the male was crying, he knew in that moment, he wanted to hold him, he wanted to kiss him... He wanted to make Giyu feel good, make him say his name.

He knew what he wanted to do, even if it was wrong of him to think that way, it was the honest truth. Memories of the past filled the three of them, everyone was silent... they didnt know how to react. "Maybe we shouldnt have gone on with the prank..." A whisper, it belonged to the Love hashira Kanroji Mitsuri, everyone knew she felt bad. She was an honest person, she felt horrible. Then faint footsteps were heard, the Wind pillar Sanemi Shinazugawa was walking off.

I started to walk to Tomioka's estate, I could feel eyes looking at me and I never dared to look back at the stares, my main priority was to help Tomioka, I knew he didnt mean that, I knew he just saw red, that haori was something he held dear to him, and I needed to try to forgive him.

Ive had a crush on Shinazugawa, I always kept saying I didnt, so when he walked up to me I knew I turned red, it was really embarrassing, that was until I noticed how close our faces were, "Is it okay?" Shinazugawa had asked me that question, and before I knew it I kissed him... As Sanemi un-buttoned Giyu's uniform, Giyu was a blushing mess, he gasped at sudden contact to his neck, he saw Sanemi kissing and licking his neck. Sanemi had finished getting Giyu and himself washed up, he changed Giyu, and got dressed himself, he picked Giyu up and layed him down on his futon, laying next to him, as they cuddled all night, Sanemi had absolutely no regrets.
