DRAKE-

So Far Gone...

"But where are you for real?"

"I'm at the beach, you should come it's really nice out here."

"I guess I can take a break, I'll be there in a little."

"Ok, bring me something to eat." she chuckled

"Munchies huh? I got you, bye babe."

"Bye"

"40, what do you think about me naming the tape So Far Gone?"

"Sounds like a good title to me." He shrugged

"Write that down for me, but I'm about I head out for a couple of hours."

"Aight, you know where to find me."

I walked out of the studio and made my way down the road, stoping at the nearest McDonald's I picked up Leilani and I something to eat and of course her favorite thing on the menu, an Oreo Mcblast.

I got to the beach 15 minutes later, it was basically empty except for the few people walking along the shore.

"Hey, babygirl." I sat down next to her in the sand

"Hey." She smiled before pecking my lips and grabbing our food

"So what's going on with you?"

"A lot." She sighed "I came home to some crazy shit."

"Crazy how?" I grabbed a couple of fries and shoved them in my mouth

"My dad decided to hide the fact that he's engaged and has another daughter from me, and they moved into my house today."

"Damn that is crazy but maybe he just didn't know how to tell you."

"He could've found a way to, I'm a big girl." she shrugged

She was on the verge of tears, a sight I hated to see. Her phone rang in her pocket, pulling it out I saw her dads contact picture, she quickly pressed ignore.

"Does he know you're out here?"

"No, honestly I don't even want to go back home."

"And where exactly were you planning on stay at?"

"A hotel? I guess."

"Stay with me tonight, then I'm taking you back home. Everything is going to be ok." I stood up and helped her up as well

"Where are we going now?" she asked as she intertwined her fingers with mine

"Follow me back to the studio"

LEILANI-

I laid down on the couch as Aubrey continued to do his thing in the booth. It amazes me that he can come up with a song in no time.

"How did that sound baby?" He asked me as he exited the booth

"Perfect, I can't believe you got Lykke Li on that song!" I smiled

"Right, her voice is amazing." He typed away lyrics on his Blackberry

"YOOO! Whats happening?" Wayne walked in

"What's up man! What're you doing here?" Aubrey stood up and dapped him

"I had to see how our newest member was doing, plus I got something big planned for you."

"Oh yea? And what is that?"

"So, I'm having a concert here Saturday.."

"Yea, I know" Aubrey chuckled "I got Lei and I some tickets for it a while ago, it was suppose to be a surprise" he winked at me

"Well, here's an even better one. I want you to open the show."

"No fucking way?!"

"Yes my nigga, so I'm hopin' you have some new shit recorded so you can perform that."

"I have plenty, trust me."

"Sounds good, but how you been killa'?"

"Man you and these nicknames" Aubrey laughed "I've been good though."

"Nah man, you a straight killa', I would have never imagined that you've been to jail."

"Huh? Jail?" I glared at Aubrey

I must've misheard him.

He avoided my eye contact,

"Uh how'd you know?" He asked lowly

"I had to do a background check on you boy, but it's cool, you good."

I grabbed my phone off the counter and left out of the room, knowing me I would've made a scene if I stayed in there a second longer.

"Wait! Hold up Leilani!" Aubrey yelled from behind me

I dug in my pocket and grabbed my car keys,

"Just let me explain." He blocked the car door

"You have one minute."

"I never meant to hide it from you, it was just something I wanted to put behind me."

"Why'd you go?"

"Well, uh, you probably don't remember this but when we were down in Miami you got drunk and told me about how Cameron tried to force himself on you.."

No fucking way.

"And then I went over to Damien's house when we got back and he was there. I did it for you baby."

"Aubrey are you serious?! He wasn't worth getting arrested over, doing that made you just as bad as he is." I shook my head "Can you move please?"

"Come on Lei, don't be like that babe."

"Aubrey, just move!" I snapped

"Fine, be a bitch then." he walked off

I opened up the car door and stuck the key into the ignition. I hit Gina back, hoping she would pick up her phone for once in her life.

"Hey! Whats up Lei?"

"Where do I begin?" I chuckled "Can I come over?"

"Yea, come on."

"Ok, I'll be there in 5." I hung up

When a good thing goes bad, it's not the end of the world.~
