Chapter 46

LEILANI-

Aubrey was still dead asleep so I quietly slipped out of bed and made my way into the bathroom. Looking into the mirror I noticed all of the love bites Aubrey gave me, last night was everything and more. I slipped on one of the hotel robes and made my way back to my room so I could get my clothes.

As I walked in the room I saw dozens of mini tequila bottles everywhere on the floor, looks like the girls had fun last night.

After getting dressed I searched around the room for my phone. Noticing it on the table, I picked it up and went through my missed texts. Most of them saying Happy Birthday, one particularly caught my eye.

Isaiah- yur party was amazing. hope you like your gift(;

I chuckled at the thought of what it probably was.

"Leilani, when did you get here?" Cassie got up

"Not soon enough, I see you guys had a bomb after party," I chuckled

"Mhm, and I can tell you had one too," she winked

"I don't know what you're talking about.."

"Girl bye! I know Aubrey gave you that birthday sex, it's written all over your face and your neck!" she laughed

"Shutup!" I blushed

"Could you guys be any louder?" Gina groaned as she sat up on the couch

"Sorry, we were just taking about how Lei got the D last night," Cassie chuckled

"Can you stop," I laughed as I slapped her arm

"I'm gonna need you to tell me all the details," Gina added

"How about no.." I chuckled as I got up to see who was knocking at the door

I opened it up to see a tired Aubrey.

"Good morning babygirl," he pulled me into a hug

"Good morning," I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his waist

After he released me I turned around seeing Gina and Cassie smirking.

I moved to the side so Aubrey could come in.

"Wassup Cassie, Gina," he smiled

I grabbed his hand and led him into the bedroom, closing the door behind us.

Before I could say anything he picked me up and laid me down on the bed.

DRAKE-

"Round two baby?" I pinned her arms down and started kissing on her neck

"Not right now babe," she pecked my lips and rolled from underneath me

"What're you doing today?"

"Nothing really Cassie and my mom are leaving today," she pouted "what about you?"

"Probably get a haircut and then chill with my beautiful girlfriend."

After we dropped Cassie and Lei's mom off at the airport we sat in the middle of her room opening up her birthday presents, I handed her the last box and she eagerly opened it up.

"Who's Isaiah?" I asked as I read the card

"This guy I work with."

She gasped as she revealed the contents of the box, Nike Jordan Retro 5 Oreos.

"Damn those are clean."

"Right? I need to call him!" she got up and put her phone up to her ear

"Isaiah! I love the shoes!" She smiled as she paced back and forth

I'm gonna let her have her moment but I already don't like this dude.

"You ready to go Aubrey?" she asked once she got off the phone

"Yea lets go."

We got in the car and I put in her favorite tape by me as we drove off.

"How did you know I wanted to hear this?" she grabbed my hand

"I know what my girl likes," I kissed the back of her hand

"Mhm, I'm your biggest fan Aubrey! Jay-Z is crazy for not getting back to you."

"Right, fuck him," I mumbled as I parked and got out

I walked over to Leilani's side and opened up her door.

"Do you have to get rid of the curls?" she stuck her bottom lip out as we walked into the barber shop

"I'll grow them back eventually," I chuckled "But hold on to this for me," I handed her my phone

"What's up Mike?" I dapped my barber

"Same shit, different day. What you tryna get?" he asked as I sat down

"Just a fresh cut, and a clean edge up."

He got to work as I watched the Raptors play on the big screen.

"Aubrey, someone needs to talk to you," She handed me my phone with the biggest smile on her face

"Hello?" I answered clearing my throat

"Wassup young blood, is this Drake?"

"Uh yea, who's calling?"

"This be Bryan Birdman Williams."

"No fucking way, this has to be a joke," I chuckled

"Nah this ain't no joke, Wayne wanted me to get a hold of you. My nigga Teddy played us your mixtape and that shit was fire."

"Thanks man, that really means a lot."

"Let me just cut to the chase, Wayne wanted me to get you down to Houston as soon as possible so we can all meet up. He's really interested in signing you, we just need to know if your down."

"Man, I am so down," I smiled

"You'll just have to prove it by coming out here, let me get your full name and birthdate so I can fly you out."

"Is it ok if I bring someone with me" I looked at Leilani as she watched the game

"Yea, that's fine just text me y'alls info."

"Will do, I'm hyped as hell now," I chuckled

"That's what I like to hear, I'll see you soon Stunna," he hung up

"What did he say?" Leilani shook my arm

"Lil Wayne wants to fly me down to Houston!" I stood up after Mike dusted my shoulders off

"OH MY GOD AUBREY!" She jumped into my arms and pecked my lips repeatedly

Everyone congratulated me as we walked out of the shop.

"Aubrey why did you ask him if you could bring someone?"

"Cause I want you right next to me when I meet the man whose going to change my life forever."

"Aubrey, I love you so much!" she kissed my cheek

"I just need to know one thing Leilani," I grabbed her face with both of my hands so she was looking directly into my eyes

"What is it?"

"Only god knows what's going to come of this, but I need to know that you'll always be here for me, that you'll always be down no matter what."

"Of course babe, I'm not going anywhere. I'm your ride or die."

"That's what I like to hear," I pecked her lips "Lets go celebrate."
