Chapter 41 Part. 2

LEILANI-

"Don't get too drunk," my mom said lowly in my ear

"Mom, I know how to handle myself."

"Ok, but we both know how you are when you're drunk," she chuckled

"Mom I'm fine really, lets go dance Aubrey," I took another shot and grabbed his hand

I led him down to lower section, noticing some of the girls staring hard at him, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked his lips a couple of times.

I turned around and started grinding against him, he held onto my waist as we moved to the music.

DRAKE-

"Leilani, I think you've had enough to drink," I chuckled as I grabbed the glass out of her hand

"Aubrey give me my drink!" she whined

"Nah babe you're drunk, I'm about to call us a cab."

I picked her up and carried her up to her room, she was too wasted to make it up the stairs.

"I think I'm drunk," I sat her down on the bed

"You think?" I laughed

I went through her closet and grabbed her some sweats and a tank top. She unzipped her dress and slid the clothes on.

"Where you going?" I asked as she got up

"To the bathroom," she stumbled

This girl is a mess.

She came out of the bathroom, her mascara was running down her face, I couldn't help but to laugh.

"Shut up Aubrey! I couldn't find my make up remover," She laid down

"It's ok bae, you still cute," I pulled the covers up on her

I unbuttoned my shirt, pulled it off and slipped my pants and shoes off.

"What are you doing?!"

"Getting in bed with you? Is that ok?"

"um yea, sorry. I just don't want it to happen again," she sniffled

"Want what to happen?" I laid down next to her

"Nothing, never mind," she shook her head

"No, I need you to tell me what's going on because you're starting to worry me," I moved some of her hair out of her face

"But I'm scared to talk about it!"

"Don't be," I grabbed her hand

"He was really drunk, and out of control, he almost raped me." she cried

"Who?!"

"Cameron," Tears continued to fall

He's dead.

"It's ok babygirl," I rubbed her back

"I thought I was going to die, I keep having nightmares about it."

"I'll make sure no one ever hurts you again ok Lei? I'll take care of him," I turned off the lights

"Don't do anything stupid Aubrey."

I was as at loss for words, how could someone do this to her. I made a promise to myself that I would never let anyone hurt her after the accident.

After Leilani fell asleep, I got up. I couldn't bring myself to also go to sleep, I was mad beyond words at the whole situation. I walked out of her room and heard moaning from down the hall.

Ew, oh god.

I quickly made my way downstairs, quietly opening up the door so I could go in the backyard. I took a seat and sat there for hours, drowning in my own thoughts.

"Aubrey why are you out here?" Leilani approached me

"I couldn't sleep, but you feelin' better?" I sat her down on my lap

"No I feel like shit," she chuckled

"I bet, you went too hard last night."

"Yea.." she sighed as she laid her head down on my shoulder

The sun started coming up as we sat in silence,

"Why are you being so quiet babe?"

She doesn't remember last night, but I can't bring myself to bring it back up.

"No reason," I shrugged

"Ok well I'm gonna go make some breakfast."***

"Home sweet home," Leilani sighed as we pulled her luggage up to her room

Back in the cold T.O, Miami had to be the best time of my life. Despite the obstacles, I enjoyed every moment of it. That's going to be my home in the future, another event added to my bucket list.

"Baby thank you so much for the best spring break ever!" Leilani grabbed my hands

"No, thank you babygirl. When we get married we'll move there ok?"

"Promise?" she chuckled

"Mhm."

"Can we go to Rome too?"

"I'll take you where ever you want to go," I smiled "But I need to head out, you need anything else?"

"Nope! Call me later tonight ok?"

"I will, give me a kiss."

She stood on her toes and pecked my lips.

"I love you," I kissed her forehead

"I love you too Aubrey!" she smiled

"Bye babe."

I got in my car and started it up. Now that I'm back in my city I only had one plan.

To find Cameron.

I pulled out my phone and sent Damien a text,

me: yoo, what you up to rn?

Damien: hittin this blunt w. Cam, come thru

me: omw

I got to his house about 10 minutes later. Contemplating what I should do I decided to just go in there and let him have it, no regrets.

I walked up Damien's porch and rang the doorbell.

"Yo what's up! I ain't seen you in a while," Cameron opened the door

My fist immediately connected to his face.

"What the fuck?!" he spit out the blood that collected in his mouth

"She told me what you fucking did! Scum ass nigga!" I pushed him into the wall

I kneed him in the ribs, which made a cringing cracking noise

"A fight has broken out in my house" I heard Damien say to someone on the phone

He slid down the wall, completely helpless, I punched him in the jaw once again. He sent one loose punch to my stomach but that just ignited the flame even more. I smashed his head against the wall, not giving into his cries at all.

"Drake, chill the fuck out!" Damien pulled me off of him

He backed me up in a corner so I couldn't do anymore damage. I saw red and blue lights flashing outside of the window.

"You called the fucking police?!" I pushed him off of me

"FREEZE!" the cop busted in and pointed his gun at me

"Hands in the air, turn around and face the wall!" I did exactly that

My breathing increased as he pulled my arms down and handcuffed me.
