Drake-

I quickly hung up the phone,

"Leilani get up!" I shook her

"What is it Aubrey.." she groaned

"Your dad just called and I accidentally answered."

"What?! Oh shit, he's going to kill me!" she grabbed her phone

"Aubrey you need to go like right now."

Not wanting to, I quickly got out of bed and grabbed all of my

belongings.

I put my shirt and sweats back on.

"I'm sorry you have to leave so soon," she pouted

"It's fine, call me later if you're still alive," I chuckled

"Don't play with me Aubrey," she said in a more serious tone

"My bad babe, I'll see you later," I pecked her lips

LEILANI-

Here I am pacing back in forth in my room, I need to come up with a perfect lie to tell my dad or my life is gone.

I tapped on his contact and brought the phone up to my ear,

"Hello?" he answered in an angry tone

"Hey dad, I think we got disconnected."

"Why was there some boy answering your phone?!"

"I was on the phone with Aubrey when you beeped in, then I accidentally put it on 3-way, I swear!"

"Why were you on the phone with him this early?" I looked at the clock on my wall

6 a.m. Damn it really is early.

"I've been really lonely, you know, cause I'm not allowed to leave the house or anything."

"Oh, well I'll allow you to have someone over today but not Marco. I'm flying back this evening."

"Ok dad, thanks!" I hung up

I'm so glad he believed me, I need to be a little more discrete next time. But for now, back to sleep.

JADE-

I had the school in the palm of my hands, my plan was working out just the way I wanted it to.

Leilani, that fucking slut thinks it's ok to date her "best friends" ex? She has no respect for girl code. But since she wants to break it, so can I.

I parked my car across the street from Aubrey's house, his mom isn't there, perfect. I jogged up the stairs and lightly knocked on the door.

"Jade?" A confused Aubrey opened up the door

"Hey, can we talk? Please?"

"I guess, come on in," he moved to the side

"What exactly do you want?"

"Why are you dating her?" I don't even want to say her name

"Is this why you came here? Please excuse yourself out of my house."

"Remember when it was just you and me?! That girl is a nobody."

"That girl, used to be your friend last time I checked so shut the fuck up please. I'm getting real tired of your shit."

"And I'm getting tired of yours too, stop playing around. You know who you belong to, and that's me!"

"What we had? Is over. Done. Get that through your head Jade!"

Damn, he's harder to break these days. I need to break out the best weapon I have to use against him.

I turned my back to him and started forcing out tears, one of his weaknesses is to see me cry.

"Jade stop, you know how much I hate that shit.." he sighed

"And I hate that we can't be together!" I cried into his chest

He reluctantly wrapped his arms around me, out of habit I guess.

"Can you go get me a tissue?" I sniffled, looking up into his eyes

"Uh yea, I need to stop this track that's playing anyways," he released me and walked downstairs

His phone started buzzing on coffee table, fuck this can't be anymore perfect.

"Hello?" I answered

"Uh who is this?"

"No,Who is this calling my boyfriends phone? Wait is that you Leilani?" I chuckled

"Jade? What the fuck! Where's Aubrey?!"

"oh he's in the bathroom, putting his clothes back on," I lied

"k," the line went dead

That took less effort than I thought, I went to his recent callers log and deleted Leilani's contact. I placed the phone back on the table and headed out of his house.
