LEILANI-

After being completely tormented at school, I only had one thing on my mind.

Pay Back.

If Jade wants to be a bitch I can be one too, but 100 times worse.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket, notifying me I had a text.

Aubrey: you at home?

Me: yes, come over asap!

Aubrey: omw, you need anything??

Me: Oreos, see you in a lil

DRAKE-

I grabbed the box of Oreos off of the passengers seat and got out of the car.

"Hey babe" Leilani opened the door smiling

"Hey, how was your day?" I walked in and took off my shoes

"Horrible, thanks for bringing food," she snatched the box out of my hands and walked up stairs

You can't tell me girls aren't bipolar.

"What happened today?" I laid down on her bed

"I don't want to talk about it," she held her head in her hands

"Nah, that's not gonna work for me. Come here," I motioned her over to the bed

She stood in front of me and looked down at her fingers. Being around her so much, I knew she was planning out what she was going to say. I hate when she does that shit.

"Stop doing that," I pulled her down on my lap

"Stop what?"

"Over thinking things, that's all you do."

"I don't do that.."

"You're doing it right now," I chuckled

"Whatever Aubrey," she attempted to get up, but my grasp got tighter

"Now, what's wrong?"

"Your ex is spreading rumors about me."

Jade and her childish games.

"What she say?"

"She told everyone I have crabs, and people were dumb enough to believe it!"

"I'm so sorry Lei."

"I should just drop out, like you did," she pressed her forehead against mine

"Nah, don't even say that. People will realize how dumb the rumors are."

"I hope so," she sighed

"What do want to do tonight?"

"Is eating myself to sleep an option?"

"Nope! I know what we should do, get some shoes on."

"I look horrible Aubrey," she whined as she put her Vans on

"Sweat pants, hair tied, with no makeup on that's when you're the prettiest" I grabbed her hand and led her downstairs

"Have you ever been ice skating?" I asked Leilani as I searched for a parking spot

"Yea as a kid."

"Well get ready to relive your childhood," I got out of the car and opened the passenger door for her

We walked into the skating center and approached the admission desk.

"Hi, when's the next skating session?"

"One started not too long ago if you would like to join that. There's about a hour left."

"Is that cool with you?" I looked down at Lei

"Yea that's fine," she shook my arm

"Ok, two tickets for that then."

"Sounds good, will you two also need skate rentals?"

"Yes."

"Alrighty, that will 20 dollars even."

I pulled out my wallet and grabbed a 20, pushing the condom I had in there to the side.

I looked over at Leilani, she was texting away on her phone. I exchanged the 20 for two tickets.

"Give me this," I snatched Leilani's phone out of her hand

"No phones for the rest of night," I stuck it in my pocket

She nodded her head in agreement.

We walked into the rental room,

"Yo! Wassup Drake?"

"Wassup, I didn't know you worked here Damien," I stood at the counter and dapped him

"This is temporary," he chuckled "but what you doin' here with her?" he nodded at Leilani, who was staring through the glass at the skaters

"That's my girl."

"Man that's everybody's girl!"

"Watch yourself," I looked at him up and down "whatever stories you heard about her aren't true."

"Damn my bad, what size shoes y'all need?"

"I need a 13, Lei come here," I motioned her over

"What size shoe you need?" I asked her as she approached me

"5."

"Oh you're the dude who called Cameron 'Captain save a hoe'," she used air quotations

"Talking shit at school but look at you, you work at a damn ice skating place!" she laughed

Damnnnn. No fucks were given.

"My bad, I didn't mean that. Im sorry," Damien sucked his teeth

"Yea, whatever," she walked off.

He slammed the skates down on the counter and made his way to the back room. Talk about customer service.

I grabbed them,

"So when did you start confronting niggas?" I chuckled as I sat down next to her

"When ever I feel like it, I guess," she shrugged as she put her skates on

"You ready?"

"Yup!" she stood up and slowly started walking to the entrance

I followed behind her and carefully placing my feet on the ice.

"Wait up Leilani!" I tried to skate behind her

Instantly slipping, I made a hard crash on the ice.

Just my fucking luck.

"Oh my god! are you ok Aubrey?!" she looked down at me

"I'm good," I stood back up and regained my balance

"I'm glad you're ok, cause that was funny as fuck!" she laughed

"You ain't shit" I sucked my teeth

"I'm just kidding babe, hold my hand. We don't want you falling again!" she laughed twice as hard this time

The rest of the time we spent skating went perfect. I was finally able to see that smile of hers that I've come to love. It really sucks seeing someone you care about being broken down and depressed.

"Can you spend the night?" Leilani asked as she released her hair from a bun

"I can, but isn't your dad coming home tomorrow?"

"Yea but he'll be here in like the afternoon."

"Ok, well since you're begging me to stay I will," I smirked

"Whatever Aubrey, I'll be right back," she rolled her eyes and walked into the bathroom

I stripped down to the basketball shorts I had on under my sweats and pulled off my shirt to show off the abs I had been working on the past week.

I pulled our phones out of my sweat pockets and laid them on my side of the bed. I still don't want her to have it back.

"Do you need anything?" Leilani opened the bathroom door, wearing a new pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt

"I need you to get your cute ass in this bed," I petted her pillow

She turned the lights off and laid down next to me.

"Thanks for this evening," she pecked my lips

"No problem, I just I want to see you happy baby."

"Well it worked," she said softly before yawning

"Night," I wrapped my arms around her and drifted off to sleep

There was a fainted buzzing sound coming from under my pillow. I reached under and grabbed the phone.

"Hello?" I answered

"Who is this? Where is Leilani?" her dad responded
