Aubrey-

Hoopin' with Lei was pretty hilarious mainly because she was so damn short. But I cherish these moments because I could have lost her, the world could have lost her and nothing would be the same.

"Aubrey!" She snatched the ball out of my hands

"What lil ma?"

"Pick me up so I can dunk on you!"

"That's not really how it goes,"I chuckled

"Whatever," she shot a free throw

"Not bad! Here get on my back," I knelt down

She didn't hesitate to get on, I love our friendship.

"How tall are you Leilani?"

"I'm 5'1 I'm not that short! You're just tall as hell," she dunked the ball

"Nah, you short," I chuckled as she got off my back

"It's cute though."

"You're cute though!" she smiled "WAIT! I take that back, your eyebrows.."

"You got jokes huh?"

"Holy shit, what is Marco doing here," I turned to see him approaching us

Just my luck. I cannot stand that nigga! Just know if he comes at me, I won't hesitate to kick his ass.

"Wassup y'all?" he approached us

Leilani moved closer to me, she looked like she was going to cry any second.

"I see you already smashin' the homie Drake?"

"Marco shutup," she rolled her eyes

"Nah, you fuckin' slut! I ain't even moved on that quickly! I'm a hundred percent sure I wasn't the only one unfaithful in our relationship, so cut the bullshit!"

"You need to chill out, disrespecting her like that!"

"Bruh shut the fuck up! Aint no one talkin' to your bitch ass," he stepped up to me

Wrong Move.

"Seriously guys stop!" Leilani stood between us

My heart beat was rising along with my blood pressure, all I want to do is beat the shit out of him.

"Get the fuck out of the way bitch!" he pushed her to the ground

That's it, that was the breaking point.

I picked him up and slammed his body to the ground, I was seeing red. There's no stoping me now.

He kneed me in the stomach, sending an agonizing pain through my body. No way was I going to let him one up me.

He started throwing loose punches everywhere, all of them missing me. Until he sent a direct hit to my bottom lip. I could see that he was satisfied with himself, like he won, but trust me, that was not the case.

I slammed his body on the hard concrete a second time and continuously punched him in the face.

"Aubrey stop!" Leilani pulled the neck of my shirt

I got up and looked down at Marco. His nose was bleeding and if I'm not mistaken, I saw one of his teeth lying beside him.

"Leave her the hell alone or I won't hesitate to beat the fuck out of you again," I spat and kicked him one last time.

We got back in my car and I tried to calm myself down but I was at ten.

"Your lip is bleeding!" Leilani gasped

"Shit, lets go to my place," I sighed as I took off down the road

"I'm so sorry," she said lowly

"This isn't your fault at all ok? I wasn't going to stand by and let him disrespect you. You ok though? I cant believe he pushed you," I found myself getting angry just thinking about it

"I'm fine," she smiled weakly "Its not the first time he's done that," she sighed

I got to my house minutes later, my moms car wasn't in the driveway.

Yes Lawd she would freak if she saw what happened to me. I grabbed Leilani's hand and lead her into my house.

She went to the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack from the freezer.

I walked down to my room as she trailed behind me.

I sat down on my bed and turned the tv on, I need to distract my mind from what's really important, my mind is really distorted I find nothing but trouble in my life.

"Come here babygirl," I patted my leg

She sat down and gently placed the ice pack on my lip, I tried not to flinch but that shit hurt!

I wrapped my arms around her waist as we sat in a comfortable silence.

She removed the ice pack from my lip, she lightly kissed my bottom lip where the injury was.

I pulled her into a kiss, our lips moved together like a rhythm until she broke it. She gave me access to her tongue, and I wasn't going to deny it.

LEILANI-

I pulled away from the kiss, shit was getting too intense.

"Friends aren't suppose to kiss..." I said lowly and ran my hand through my hair

He smirked at me.

"Don't even Aub" I pinched his cheek

"Do you want to spend the night?"

"Uh sure, I need to take a shower though."

"Yea you do," he chuckled as he plugged his nose

"Shut up!"

"Just being honest, but go ahead and take one I'll go get you something to wear."

I walked upstairs and put Leilani's clothes in the washing machine.

"Aubrey? you home?" I heard my mom lock the door
