Drake-

Life has been dull since the accident, Leilani still hasn't woken up and nothing is really the same without her.

I didn't even realize the impact she had on me until she wasn't around anymore.

Everyone has been visiting her in the hospital hoping she would make a breakthrough. I've tried everything in our spare alone time, I played her all my recorded music, I told her all my awkward stories and how popular my Mixtape was getting.

Jade and I broke up, honestly it was for the best. We don't get along anymore, and I wanted to end it before she started hating me.

Marco has been extremely depressed, I feel for him. I know he genuinely cares for Lei but he has a horrible way of showing it.

I need this girl to wake up.

LEILANI-

I opened my eyes and looked around.

Where am I?

I turned my head to the left and saw my mom texting on her phone.

"Mommy..." I croaked

She looked like she had seen a ghost

"BABY!" she got up and kissed all over my face

"Mom, mom! ok, I get it," I chuckled

"You smell like straight up weed."

"I'm sorry hun, I've just been so stressed... OHMYGOD I need to call your dad," she quickly dialed his number

"Brian get your ass over here, she's awake!" she ended the call

"Oh she's awake!" The nurse walked in "I'll go get Dr.Benson."

"Hello Leilani, great to see your awake, how are you feeling?"The doctor smiled

"I'm feeling ok I guess, my head kinda hurts."

"That's expected," he wrote something down

"We're going to run a few tests on you and try to get you out of here this evening."

"Ok thank you."

"Lei, how are you feeling?!" my dad walked in

"I'm fine dad."

"Ok sweetheart," he sat down next to my mom

I finally got released from the hospital, after hundreds of tests.

From the impact of the crash, I suffered from 3 broken ribs, a fractured ankle, and a concussion.

My mom and dad helped me upstairs and into my bed. I'm surprised they've been getting along considering they hate each other.

"Do you need anything Leilani?"

"Can you hand me my phone?"

"Sure, here you go" "If you need anything else just call for us" she closed the door behind her

I went down my contacts until I got to Gina's name and tapped on it.

"LEILANI?!"

"Hey babe..."

"Oh my god! You're awake? Am I dreaming? haha"

"nopee. I'm actually at home, you wanna come over?"

"of course I do, I have sooooo much to tell you"

"ok, see you soon!" I hung up

"Leilani, you have some company," my mom said through the intercom

My door opened up and Gina was standing there with the biggest smile.

"Leilani! I missed you, oh my god!" she rushed over to me

"I missed you too Gigi!" I smiled

"What have I missed out on?" I scooted over so she could sit on the bed

"Oh lord where do I start! Jade and Aubrey broke up."

"Are you serious?" I gasped

"Yes, and Jade said she's done with him forever."

"What did he do? They're so perfect."

"I don't know, he broke up with her."

"Dangg, how's Marco?"

"Not to great.. He's been really depressed, he's been smoking alot and coming to class high."

"Awh my babe. I need to call him."

"Uh ya think? Guess what happened to Noelle?"

"What? I can't stand her"

"She got suspended for 2 weeks"

"She got caught having sex with some guy in the teachers lounge"
