Chapter 7

*3 weeks later*

Leilani-

"Hey babe," Marco walked up to me

"Hey," I smiled

"Today's the day."

"Yeaa.. I would tell you don't be nervous but honestly I don't know what he'll do."

"Maybe meeting your dad will be a good thing," He shrugged

"Hmm maybe... maybe not," I chuckled

"Lets skip first period?"

"And go where?"

"I dunno, we can just chill in my car."

"Ok, that's fine I guess," I put my backpack in my locker and closed it

"I wasn't going to take no as an answer," he chuckled as he grabbed my hand

We walked out one of the side doors of the building and walked to his car.

He unlocked it and we got in the back,

"Pick a song," He handed me his iPod

I scrolled down his selection and decided to go with Ice Cube's 'It Was A Good Day'.

"Leilani, what do you know about this?" He laughed

"I know more about it than YOU Marco," I stretched my legs out, putting them on his lap

"Nah, babe you don't haha, come sit on my lap though," he licked his lips at me

I got up and sat down on his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck,

"You smell good" He said in between kissing my neck

"You're so weird Marco," I chuckled kissing his cheek

I moved down to his neck and started leaving small bites, I can't resist myself it's like he has some sort of spell on me.

Plus he smells amazing also, but I didn't want to sound like a creep if I said that out loud.

He grabbed the side of my face and stared into my eyes.

His eyes are so beautiful.

I kissed his soft lips, falling more for him. He kissed me back deepening the kiss more, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me even more closer to him, leaving not an inch of space between us.

I tugged on his bottom lip, hoping this would end our little session plus I didn't want this to get out of hand.

"Babe, we gotta go," I smiled

"Damn, aight," he wiped my lip gloss off of his lips

He pulled the keys out and we hopped out the car. We walked back in the school through the main entrance, luckily none of the administrators saw us.

"I'll see you after school," he pulled me into a tight hug

"Oh my god stop Marco, you're squishing me!" I groaned

"Nah, you good," he chuckled

"Bye," I pecked his lips and walked off

Our teacher decided not to show up for Dance today, so everyone just hung out and did their hair and makeup.

But really we do that everyday.

"Wait Leilani let me do your hair, it's so pretty!"

"If you want, it's a mess," I ran my fingers through it

She grabbed my hair and put it into a perfect messy bun.

"Wait, is this a hickie on your neck?!" She asked as she pinned up my baby hairs

"What are you talking about...?" I looked in the mirror and noticed the mark Marco left on me

"Oh shit it is," I chuckled faintly

"You and Marco, are so cute, I remember when Aubrey and I were like that," she pouted

"What do mean were?"

"We used to put more into our relationship, now we just exist."

"Aw Jade I hate that, I'm gonna beat him up!"

"Haha go for it girl. I've tried that already."

DRAKE-

I went to my last class of the day, gym.

We play basketball everyday but shit never gets old.

"Ready to get killed in basketball again?" I asked Marco as I dribbled the ball

"Nah mang, you were just lucky yesterday," he grabbed the ball out of my hands

"Nigga, the fuck is that on yo neck?"

"Shit. I was with Lei this morning."

"I was wondering where y'all were in 1st period," I shook my head

"Yea, aha, I'm meeting her pops today."

"Nigga you sprung," I laughed

"Don't be mad cause you and yo girl ain't workin out."

"Whatever bruh," I sucked my teeth

He's right.

"Lets ball."

MARCO-

After gym, I went to Leilani's locker. As I walked to it, I saw her talking to some random nigga, he was smiling too much for comfort.

I walked up to her,

"Hey Marco," she smiled at me

"Wassup babe.." I grabbed her ass

The guy gave me the dirtiest look, I mouthed 'I will fuck you up' to him and he smacked his lips.

"I gotta go, I'll text you later Leilani," he walked off

"What is his problem?" she mumbled to herself as she grabbed her backpack out of her locker

"Who was that?" I grabbed some of her books for her

"Cameron. He's in my Calculus class."

"Oh, why he gotta text you though?"

"He's gonna help me out with some assignments, he's so smart."

"Cool.." I said lowly, I'm feeling some type of way

"Please tell me you're not jealous," she laughed

"Nah, I'm straight."

"Ok, good. Cause he's got nothing on you baby," she placed her perfect lips on mine, she grazed my bottom lip with her tongue before pecking my lips

"Where's that hickie I gave you?" I smirked

"Oh god. I covered it up, but I see yours," she traced it on my neck

"Yea, you a vampire or some shit," I chuckled

We walked to her car and I gave her a kiss before she got in.

"I'll see you tonight babe, remember, no sagging!"

"Yea, yea, I'll see you in a lil."

LEILANI-

When I got home I took a quick shower and got dressed for this evening. I can't believe my dad is going to meet Marco. I've tried to talk some sense into him, hoping he won't give Marco such a hard time.

I got dressed in a pair of coral colored skinny jeans and an off-white laced blouse. I put on a little make up,making sure this hickie was covered up and sprayed some perfume on. I heard the door ring and instantly got nervous. I crept down the stairs and opened the door.

"Hey, come on in," I smiled

He looked so nervous, it was cute.

"You look so beautiful Leilani," he pulled me into a hug

"Thanks, you look very handsome," I eyed his attire

My baby knows how to dress.

"Have a seat I'll go get my dad."

I went back upstairs and knocked on my dads door,

"Come in!"

I walked in,

"Dad, Marcos here"

"Great, I'm ready to meet him."
