Chapter Nine

02:52, 15 May 2020

After about a week or so, it was finally time for a week off. My father only turned up to defend himself, not telling anyone where Ike was. Only he knew where he was, so it was risky to arrest him. What if he was in a dangerous situation? If he didn't return, something could kill him while he was gone.

I tried to stay calm while trials were being held, but I would always cry in fear eventually. Dad would just make fun of me then get shouted at by my mother. God that was the worst. Dealing with their arguing all of the time.

Sharon was hosting a little party, full of a few close friends, to try and get our mind off of the negative stuff in our lives at the moment. With Randy buying a second house which was further away, Kenny finally getting a small apartment about 15 minutes away, Butters going on holiday in a couple days and Cartman pissed at his mother so bad he punched a hole in the wall, we could all use a little break.

I arrived in black ripped jeans, black converse shoes, a purple hoodie with a black outline of a rose in the middle, covered in a black denim jacket. I felt pretty smart with a tiny bit of mascara. My mother was in a gorgeous dark crimson dress and matching make up and shoes. She was going to do my make up, but that was for another time.

With everything being stressful at the moment, it was a good escape from reality I guess. There was apparently music, loads of food, alcohol, light weed and a hot tub. I would, of course, have a bit of that weed Randy gave to me last time.

Also, to add, Butters was going to Spain for about 4 days with Stan, so I wouldn't see them for a while. And Kenny was working overtime to pay for his house a bit more, which was amazing for him. At least I could still see him.

We pulled up in my car and my mother held my hand tightly. "Let's have a good night tonight, okay?" She sounded like she was slightly begging, like she already knew that I was going to cry at some point. I smiled and nodded.

"I'll try my best ma." I replied and we exited the car. Sharon came out, red wine in her slender, feminine hands. She wrapped her arms around my mother, smiling greatly. Poor woman, she's been worried sick about our situation.

"Oh Sheila!" She cheered, sounding a little tipsy. "It's so good to see you babe! Come in, grab a drink. Hello Kyle!" She winked at me and waved. Her expensive bracelets jangled and clanged. I smiled shyly and waved back. She was more outgoing than me, it was going to be a few minutes before I went in as it was full of older people.

I sat on the porch, reading a book on my phone. My heart was beating pretty quick, I was kinda awkward at parties, especially with my mothers friends. They got drunk way too often, and we were staying the night along with Cartman, Kenny and Butters with their parents.

The house was vibrating from the overly loud rave music from inside. I walked away to try and calm myself down a bit, walking back and forth. For my mothers sake, I didn't straight up scream into a pillow inside. This time, I breathed in and out deeply.

I couldn't see Stan yet because he was finishing up a date with Butters at the cinema. He said he'd be here at 6, it being 5pm now. God why? Why? I was glad to see a familiar blonde come up with his parents bickering behind him. He waved towards me and yanked me into his arms.

"Hey my little gay homosexual! How are you on this fine night?" He asked. I looked him top to bottom. He was wearing a white shirt as fancy black pants with a bow tie to accommodate the look. He looked pretty good looking.

"I'm okay, worried, anxiety, crowds, drunk ancient people, you know the drill." I laughed awkwardly but he looked a bit concerned.

"We could go to the side if you want, wait for everyone else to show up."

"That would be nice." He held my hand and tugged me over to Randy's tractor. It was just sitting in the middle of the field, deserted. I saw him come out of the house and look at us. I was a bit worried until he gave us a thumbs up and chugged a whole can of beer.

"How's things with you're brother?" Kenny pulled out a silver flask, a creamy alcohol smell lingering in the air.

"Um..it's not really going anywhere honestly. It's scary, no one knows where he is. Dad won't tell anyone, and if they arrest him their have no lead on where he's camping at the moment. He lives in this closed in small town, he could go in and out from anywhere, and people are really defensive of their land. Like, a police officer got killed there because he was checking out this woman's backyard. She shot him, right between the eyes!"

"That's horrible, to say the least. Do you want a chug?" He extended his arm with the flask in his grasp. I took it, our hands brushing against eachother. I thanked him then took a small sip. Saying that I drunk rarely, it was delicious. I took another swig and he snatched it back. I smirked in response cheekily and he tutted me. "I'm thirsty too..with the need to get drunk."

"I know. That's why I took more just to get you agitated."

Oh yeah, me and Ken hooked up in a way once. We just sucked eachother off, nothing personal, just a little drunk, intimate moment. We never forgot that night, forever teasing eachother when we were alone. I didn't have feelings for him, definitely not. He was kind of like my fuck buddy or friend with benefits. He got closer to me and pecked my lips softly with his chapped lips.

Though, he pulled away when he saw Cartman walk up with a..jealous or sad look on his face. "Shit." Kenny muttered then ran toward him, trying to talk but the brunette seemed gloomy and lashed out at him. I gave them a confused look and they both gazed at me, they must have forgot I was here.

He knew that me and Kenny were like that, why was he always so weird about it? Stan and Butters always turned a blind eye, but he would have none of it. They returned and I sat at the front of the vehicle so neither of them could sit next to me. It was silent, they were both looking away from me, just beside them.

I sighed and broke the silence. "Nice outfit, Cartman." I complimented, he looked nice in his not fully buttoned up shirt, blazer and blue jeans. "Where did you get it from?"

"Uh, Amazon." He replied quickly and Kenny handed me the flask again, silent. I took it, purposely touching him again secretly. As I drunk more of the liquid, Cartman snatched it from my grasp and took a big mouthful. I didn't comment, he seemed really pissed for some reason.

I looked over to the house, my mother dancing away. I smiled, I haven't seen her so happy in forever. I could feel Cartman stare at me, but I ignored it again. He handed the empty metal over to his best friend and got a scoff back. "Eric! I filled this up with the last of my alcohol just before I came here! It was meant to last, not be drunken but an inconsiderate asshole!"

Cartman ignored him, surprisingly, and seemed relieved when he left. "Do you want to go into the party?" He asked me and I grew pink.

"Sorry, I hate crowds. You know how I am."

"I'll stick by you, come on. Randy probably has weed, I'll do it with you."

"Shouldn't we wait for Kenny and power couple?"

"Fuck it, I'm not here to wait for my friends, I'm here to have a good time and make you feel better. Not argue with 'him' either." Without questions, he grabbed my wrist and took me over to the party house. He entered with no trouble, he was okay with crowds and strangers so he was good, but I was a nervous wreck.

I stuck by him, linking my arm with his tightly. He didn't seem to mind, just got some light weed, the one I smoked when I last came here, and handed me a small pile. My mother was too busy to care what I was doing.

We started smoking and it didn't take long until he was first to jump in the hot tub. I joined him, removing everything but my boxers and I just chilled there, inside, smoking weed, music blasting in my ears, and one of my best friends right beside me.

He looked pretty chill, smiling slightly lazily at me. A laughed. "Getting tired already, Eric?" I asked and he scoffed.

"Tired? I only just got here jewboy. You wait until I get you up on the dance floor."

"I can't dance, ass. I never could."

"Nonsense. If you let me lead I can teach you. What have you got to lose? Everyone's drunk and making out." He pointed towards Sharon and Kenny's mom making out. I cringed and shook my head.

"Whatever, fine. As long as no ones getting hot and heavy beside us I'm cool."

"Nice. Oh, hey gaymos." I turned my head to see Stan and Butters inspect us. Stan looked disappointed at me as I smoked the weed, but I didn't care much what he thought. Butters was probably about to ask for some, but Stan led him away to the fruit bowl. "He's so protective." Cartman scooted next to me and we watched the couple secretly.

"I know. But he's just trying to keep him as safe as possible."

"Yeah, but keeping him on a leash with a safety helmet. Just as long as he doesn't put his gay lips against Kenny's he's fine."

"Do you like Ken or something? You're acting so weird about him."

"No. I don't like 'him' he's becoming an asshole to me. It's just that you out of all people are kissing him for no reason, it's so odd."

"Yeah, well, it's just us I guess. It doesn't mean anything, I don't like or love him."

"Have you had sex together?" I coughed on my weed cloud. What the hell was he getting at?!

"No! Nothing big has happened between us, just on and off visits."

"I'll believe you for now."

I got out, dried and dressed then walked over to the alcohol without alerting Cartman. He called out my name and speed walked over to me. I grabbed a bottle of pina colada and chugged a quarter of the liquid in one chug. Cartman looked amazed, watching my throat as the contents went down it.

I followed him to the food section and we got 2 slices of iced cake each, trying to keep myself at least a little sober. The three others came over again and inspected Cartman and I leaning into against eachother, eating cake.

"You guys look like you've just gotten high, drunk, married, and are now eating you're wedding cake alone in a dark corner." Stan commented then sat with the other two on another sofa.

"Basically." Cartman said then slung an arm around me. Damn, we must have drunk a lot already. "Kyle, will you take my hand and marry me?"

"I've already asked you, remember? You didn't reply."

"Oh yeah...yes I will marry you're jewass." He pretended to attempt to kiss my cheek and we both broke out into laughter.

"Let's play a game." Kenny said. "As 3:5 of us are at least a little tipsy, let's play spin the bottle or something. Or kiss, marry kill!"

"I'm in!" Butters cheered and Stan rolled his eyes, probably nervous that he'll end up crushing on someone else.

"No, Leo, it's a stupid-"

"Let the poor boy do what he wants." Cartman spoke up and pulled us all into a circle.

"Okay," Kenny started. "So basically, if the top of the bottle lands on you, you have to answer a kiss, marry, kill question. It could be anyone, be prepared." He smirked over at the couple and Stan grew red. "If..the kiss involved someone in this here circle, then they have to actually kiss them. Fair?"

"Fair!" I piped up, leaning against the sofa, hugging a pillow.

"Okay..go!" Kenny spun the bottle, everyone watching it spin and spin until we went dizzy. It landed on Stan, and as Kenny spun it beforehand, he got to choose the three people. "Hmm..interesting. Pete, Scott Malkinson and Wendy."

"God that's harsh. Wendy's my ex! She cheated on me with Token." Kenny glared at him to shut up and answer. "Fine. Kill Wendy, kiss Scott, and marry Pete."

"Interesting, I thought you'd kill Scott." Butters spoke.

"Yeah, because you hate him."

"Fair."

Stan spun the bottle, and we watched patiently again. It landed on me. My heart stopped, but I kept my cool. "Interesting..my best friend." Stan said and I felt my heart drop. He sounded so evil.. "Craig, Tweek, Kenny." I huffed.

"Kill Tweek, kiss Craig, marry Kenny." I replied, Kenny pouting; probably because I didn't kiss him. I did that on purpose, bonus for me! I spun it, and it landed on Kenny. "Me, Butters, Token."

"Kill Token, kiss you, marry Butters."

"Wow, Butters? Marry?"

"He's husband material." Kenny winked at Butters, pissing off both him and his own boyfriend. He tugged me into the middle and kissed me roughly, forcing his tongue into my mouth. We pulled away about half a minute later, and I sat down casually.

About 15 minutes passed, everyone was getting bored. As everyone left to do their own thing, I saw a hand reach out towards me. Cartman. "I told you I'd dance with you." I saw Kenny at the DJ station, changing it to a slow dance song. I turned red. Oh god how embarrassing!

He softly grabbed my hand and danced slowly around with me. I looked down at our feet, trying to keep a pace. Hey, this was easier than I thought it was! We eventually got faster, and I could help but laugh. He smiled and placed his hands upon my hips, pulling me closer to him. "Let the music guide you." He whispered into my ear as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

There was a sudden beat in the song, upbeat. Everyone around started throwing their arms in the air, spinning and swaying their hips. From instinct, I tried to walk away but familiar hands pulled me back. "You're not getting off that easily." He said in a deep voice, speeding up the pace.

Eventually he pulled away, dancing freely. I tried to follow, copying what he was doing. Then he did it...what I was most scared of. He dipped me down, our faces ever so close to eachother. "Kyle..I.."

"Chug chug chug!" That broke us apart. The music stopped, Kenny was downing whiskey shot after whiskey shot. We pulled away and we were both red.

"I'm going to uh..I'm going to bed. I'll see you in the morning I guess." I blurted out then walked upstairs.

As I reached the guest room, I could barely breathe. God what the fuck just happened?
