Chap 8- Fitting In

Lucy's POV

The GMG ended before I knew it. Fairy Tail came in first and Sabertooth came second. I was packing my clothes to get ready to go to Fairy Tail. When I finished packing and I was getting ready to go but master stopped me to tell me something.

"Lucy I know it's going to be hard for you to go back alone so I asked Makarov to see if Sting and Rogue can come with you to Fairy Tail." He said. I instantly smiled at what he said to me, then I saw Sting and Rogue come downstairs with luggage's. After we all said our goodbyes to the guild we left to go on the train to Magnolia.

On the train Sting and Rogues faces we green because of the motion sickness thing and Sting almost vomited, twice!! So I did what I could do at the time, I grabbed Stings' head and put it on my lap. Rogue was sucking it up, and he was acting like it didn't effect him at all but the the green on his face said it all.

One we got back to Magnolia we first went to buy my house back, and luckily it wasn't sold yet. I bought the house back and Sting and Rogue bought another house near mine.

After well all got settled in we went to Fairy Tail.

"Lucy are you gonna be okay?" Rogue said.

"Yeah blondie, I mean last time they hurt you pretty bad." Sting added.

"Yeah I'll be fine. And besides if this time if they do hurt me, I'll have you two here with me at least." They instantly blushed at what I said. I took a deep breath and opened the doors to the new/old guild. Once I opened it and everyone saw me, the entire guild went silent.

".............."

"Lu-chan!!" Levy broke the silence and ran from a table to me and hugged me tightly.

"Levy, I missed you!!" Then suddenly all of the people that didn't ignore me started coming up to talk to me, while everyone else was just silent in the background, quietly watching.

"Levy, where's the master?" I asked.

"Hmm? Oh his upstairs."

"Ok thanks. I'll see you guys later." I said pulling Sting and Rogue upstairs with me. When I got to the door of his office I knocked about 3 times and I heard,

"Come in."

"Master it's me." I said poking me head through the door.

"Lucy it's been a while." He said standing up.

"Yeah and master is it okay if two my friends join the guild with me?" I said when me, Sting and Rogue went inside his office.

"Sure its ok. I understand you would want them here after everything that's happened with this guild. Now you three come here and get your guild marks." I had mine same colour and place. Sting and Rogue got theirs where their Sabertooth marks were and the same colour as well.

"Come with me I'll introduce you to the guild." We then walked downstairs to the stage.

"LISTEN UP BRATS!!!" Master yelled and immediately everyone stopped in their place."We have two new members to the guild and one member has returned. The new ones are Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney!! The one that has returned is Lucy Heartfilia!!" After he said my name all of Fairy Tail erupted in cheers.

"LETS PARTY!!!" One of the members shouted. Sting, Rogue and I all sweat dropped.

After a couple of hours of partying, Sting and, surprisingly, Rogue got drunk and passed out. I was with my friends and no one else. 'I wonder where Team Natsu is.' I thought so I asked Mira about it.

"Hey Mira, wheres Team Natsu?" She thought a second before she answered.

"Oh yeah, before we came back from Crocus they found a job there. So the rest of the guild came back and Team Natsu stayed there to finish the job."

'Wow rude, Natsu's the one that made me come back and he isn't even here.' I thought. Just when I finished thinking that the guild door slammed wide open. There were four figures at the door. One of them screamed.

"WE'RE BACK! Is Lucy here yet?" I knew exactly who that was, it was Natsu. Everyone pointed at me.

"Luce, your back..." Natsu said then he ran up to me and hugged me. I immediately pushed him off and he looked at me dumbfounded with that stupid confused face.

"Natsu..... Remember I HAD to come back because you beat Sting fairly and we keep our promises...... Unlike somebody." I whispered the last part to myself but I'm sure the dragons slayers heard it. I then pulled Sting and Rogue by the collar, out of the guild.

As I was walking back I remembered the time when Natsu promised me that he would love me and only me.

But when that idiot came back I immediately knew that that promise was broken. 'I can't believe I'm still hung up on those times.'

I pulled them to my house because I didn't know where the key to their house was. I dropped them on my couch and took a shower. Once I came out I saw Sting awake, rubbing his head.

"Blondie, what happened?"

"You guys got drunk and passed out at the guild. We're at my house because I don't know where the keys to your apartment was. Plus Team Natsu came back while you two were passed out. He hugged me and said he was really glad I was back." For some reason I felt like crying because I mentioned Natsu.

After that there was mostly silence between us.

"Hey Sting."

"Yeah, whats up?"

"You think I should forgive Natsu and Fairy tail? I mean they did look like they were really sorry."

"Why are you asking me its your choice." He said back. "But if you do forgive them promise me that you will never forget me Rogue and I."

"Of course I won't forget you two. You guys are my best friends after all." I smiled at him and the passed out Rogue. "Anyway I'm tired so Im gonna go to sleep." I said walking towards my room.

"Hey blondie can I sleep in you room the couch is too hard." I heard him say.

"Sure." I know people will usually so 'no' because they're shy or something, but I trust him and I know he won't do anything to me.

We both walked to my room and laid on my bed. Sting was on one side and I was on the other side.

"Night blondie." I heard him whisper.

"Night Sting." I said before I fell into darkness.
