Pt 6

I feel the bed dip right beside me and all my attention turns to Taehyun who stares at me with a gaze I've never seen before. I've never seen anyone look at me like that. I'm normally good at reading people but there's one thing that I've noticed since I've come to TXT's apartment. I can't guess what this guy infront of me is thinking. He hides his true expressions with perfection that it almost deceives one.

The way he stares right now is the kind I didn't feel before. He states at me like this for the first time since I've came here. The corner of his lips slightly curved that it's almost not noticeable. His eyes sparkling and reflecting the moon.

"Be yourself", he says breaking our staring contest that no one seemed to be winning. It was like my eyes were stuck in one place. They seemed to gaze nowhere but at his eyes.

"I'm socially awkward tae", I say and he hums and thinks for a bit.

"Don't approach someone but let yourself be aproached", he suggests making me frown.

"How?", I simply ask and he giggles. I think this is the first time I'm hearing him laugh like this. It's so...

Adorable

"Act like you don't care if you're alone. Act engaged in something even when the professor is not there", he says and I make an 'oh' face.

"Are you sure that would work?", I ask.

"110 percent sure", he answers. I'm not fully satisfied yet. I believe him but I just... I'm scared. After highschool I barely went to college. I was always on leaves and when I was there then I would just study and eat all day. No interactions.

"Maybe I should get help from Google aswell", I say taking my tablet out and quickly typing but before I could press the search button, my tab is taken away from me by Taehyun.

"Trust me Yeon", he sternly says making goosebumps form on my skin. The face is so cute but the voice is sooo... 💀

"You need to look good aswell. Atleast have 6 hour sleep", he continues  and I just nod like an obedient child.

"I'll wake you up on time tomorrow so you can get ready", he says.

He smiles as I lay down. He comes closer to me and pats my head and then gets up to leave but I stop him by holding his wrist.

"Won't I be a burden if you would have to wake up for me and also wake me up", I say and he shakes his head.

"No you won't be a burden. You're like family Yeonha. We have to go just a couple of hours later aswell", he says assuring me and I smile at his words. Family. He soon leaves the room closing the door and turning the lights off. I stare out of the window and close my eyes soon falling asleep.
