Jihyo x Reader

"How is it going so far? Can you handle it?" You asked your girlfriend through the phone. She just started a new diet, she desperately wants to lose weight because of her job.

"Its's only the first day everyone can handle it." She sighed and you felt sorry that you couldn't be there to cheer her up. You had to go to Japan for a week to work which means that she had to go through the first week alone.

"You know that it's not healthy to loose weight in such a small period, right?" You said worried, you were so annoyed with Jihyo's boss, he literally said to her face that she is 'fat' and that she has to loose weight immediately. You were so pissed.

"Wow high score, this is the third time you say this in a day, you usually say this once a day." Jihyo laughed and you rolled your eyes.

"Well I'm just worried, don't pressure yourself okay? Give up if you can't take it." You said, your worried tone was too obvious but the fact that Jihyo laughed made the situation a bit lighter for you.

"Don't worry I ain't no easy" You smiled and totally agreed, nobody wants to mess with god Jihyo.

"Better think about it twice🎶🎵" You sang alone at her 'Like Ooh Aah' reference and started dancing alone.

"Aren't you at the grocery store right now? I bet people are staring at you" Jihyo laughed.

"I don't care, I'm a real Once they should deal with it." You said looking around and indeed some people were looking at you like you were crazy or something.

"You didn't really have another choice or else you had to deal with me." You laughed at your scary-sometimes girlfriend.

You really wished you had the power to push the time and meet Jihyo as soon as possible but  it has only been two days without her and you were pretty sure you started to suffer from withdrawal.

According to Jihyo everything is going fine with her diet but you weren't really sure if she's lying to not worry you and focus on her job. Although Jihyo is indeed tough and she can go through a lot of things, so if you had to guess you would say that a diet would be a piece of cake for Jihyo. She wasn't really a food lover, you were always the one who eats the most and is obsessed with food, sometimes you even had to eat Jihyo's leftovers. However, you can't tell if she's actually fine when you're not around her, Jihyo might be good at tricks but there's only one person who can't be tricked by Park Jihyo and that's definitely you.

You were talking on the phone and skyping every single day. Your job was going perfectly fine and you just couldn't wait to get back home. You missed your girlfriend, you missed taking care of her and going out with her, forgetting your jobs and everything else.

On the 6th day you felt more impatient than the past days. It felt that it was the last day but in fact, there was one more day which seemed like ages to you. You managed to kill some time here and there with the new japanese friends you just made. You even got to learn a lot of Japanese in less than a week and you were actually suprised of yourself for that.

You wanted to tell Jihyo whatever you learned, completely sure that you are better at it even though she has been in Japan more times than you. You've never thought of yourself as a smart person but whenever you prove God Jihyo wrong or you seem to know more than her about something, you feel more like a total genius, who wouldn't right?

"Do you guys have a relationship?" One of your Japanese coworkers/friends asked. You managed to get along with two of them, they were pretty cool but a little bit stupid at the same time. You were thankful that you made some friends because clearly you couldn't find anything else to kill the time with in another country, alone.

"I actually broke up a month ago, I'm still not over it to be honest." The other one answered first and you raised your eyebrows thinking that she said it too calmly and seemed like she didn't even care about it. After that, they both turned to look at you, probably waiting for your answer.

"I do, actually." You said and looked at your feet, blushing. The others laughed thinking that you're cute which made you blush even more. You are not really comfortable with these kinds of questions, especially with people you just met.

"Aaaand??" The one who started the conversation asked.

"I can already tell it's serious." The other one said and they started laughing at each other. You couldn't stop smiling and blushing but you weren't really suprised of the affection that Jihyo has on you, even if she's miles away.

"Well...we're together for more than a year so yeah.. I guess it is.." You said staring at the empty coffee cup on the table as if it is the most intresting thing to stare at right now. You could hear the others muttering an 'Awww' while smiling and you felt your chicks getting warm again.

"Is she from Korea too?" One of them asked and you nodded.

"These last two days seem like ages, I wanna go back so bad." You sighed and the others seemed to question. You got curious of their confused looks, not knowing what's going on.

"Didn't your boss tell you about next week?" The blonde one asked and you frowned your eyebrows still looking confused.

"Tell me what? What about next week? Isn't this for just this week?" You asked and they both looked convinced that you have no idea.

"The presentation will happen next week because something came up and the CEOs can't make it tomorrow." They said and you dropped your mouth.

"Please tell me you're kidding.." You said hopelessly.

"Sorry, I'm not.." She said with a 'sorry' look on her face and you sighed heavily.

"And what are we supposed to do for the whole next week? Look at each other? We're almost done." You growled.

"We're not supposed to do anything, that's the awesome part, we can simply enjoy Japan." Said the Japanese, you thought. You tried to keep yourself from rolling your eyes because you didnt want to seem rude.

"Hey, you can join us, we'll have fun." They said and you didn't have much of a choice but agree with them to whatever they arranged for the rest of the week. You surely didn't want to spend the whole week alone in a foreign country.

When you got back to the hotel you made sure to call Jihyo and tell her the bad news. She tried not to show her disappointment and cheer you up but it's not that simple.

"I don't think they will notice if I just leave and come back.."You shared your thoughts.

"Are you serious? Isn't your boss there? Aren't you the leader of your team? Of course they will notice, you are in charge of the presentation of your team. Plus, you might get promoted after this, the extra working hours always count, you know that." Jihyo said trying to keep her voice in normal tones and hide her disappointment.

"Jihyo I'm sorry, I really am.. I miss you like hell." You said sadly and after a long pause you thought that your eyes might get teary for a second.

"I know, I miss you too but this is a great opportunity for your career and you should not give up because of just an extra week.. don't worry about me I'm doing perfectly fine, I promise." She said.

"just an extra week.. yeah right.." You muttered disappointed.

"What about the two stupid Japanese girls you were talking about..?" Jihyo tried to change the topic.

"I told them about you today.. well actually they asked so.."

"ASKED YOU WHAT? Wait if they're flirting with you i swear to god-" Your laugh was enough to stop her from talking nonsense.

"Wow yeah one of them even asked my number you should start getting worried" You teased your girlfriend and she started laughing too.

"Don't worry they are too stupid for me" You pointed out.

"That's enought information for me to worry" Jihyo teased you back.

"HEY WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN-"

You continued teasing each other and commenting on the stupidity of your new 'friends' for an hour on the phone. God you missed her so much..

You didn't even bother to set an alarm for the next morning. You don't care if you'll be late, you already have one more week and that's enough time to even prepare your work 3 more times.

The japanese girls looked really annoyed that you were late but you honestly couldn't care less. In fact they started teasing you which you weren't really sure if it's a good or a bad thing but you just took it for fun.

"Seems like Jihyo came to Japan last night." The blonde one winked at you and even though you cringed, your blush was starting to form on your chicks. Seriously the affect that Jihyo had on you was unbelievable, you were blushing even at the sound of her name. Wait, her name? How does she know her name? You looked at her suprised and when you did that she immediately covered her mouth. You could see her friend pushing her with her hips and whispering 'you're stupid'. Wow, you don't say.

"I don't think I've mentioned her name before?" You said looking at them mysteriously.

"Really? Ahahah I'm pretty sure you did, or else how do I know her name?" Her fake laugh was too obvious and started hitting you on the nerves. Seriously what is going on?

"That's exactly what I wanted to ask you, I'm pretty sure I didn't mention her name." You said firmly, piercing her with your serious look.

"Okay we might have checked on your phone contacts, chill." The other said, trying to save her friend.

"Chill?" You've started boiling by now, these girls were so annoying you wanted to hit them with your bag but thankfully your boss came by asking you why you were late. You got away to talk with him and noted to yourself to avoid these girls from now on. You haven't even taken your phone out of your back which means that they probably looked on your bag too, 'standard bitches' you thought they were.

When you finished for the day you went for a coffee alone this time but unfortunately after a few moments of peace you spotted the two girls walking towards your table, sitting comfortably on the seats in front of you just like nothing happened. You wished for Jihyo or your boss to be here and grab you because you were so ready to spill that hot coffee you just ordered to their expensive dresses.

"We need to tell you something" The one said and they both couldnt hide their smiles. Are they being serious right now?

"We were preparing a suprise for you.. not us actually, we just happened to be part of it." They both said smiling and you barely even heard what they said from your nerves.

"I don't think its my birthday" You said Ironically and the blonde one started laughing. What the-

"Wow still mad, I see." You were so ready to curse on them but you only managed to open your mouth until the other smart ass started talking.

"Don't worry we'll leave you alone, there's someone who wants to see you anyway. Just know that we helped that person to find you." She said and you looked confused. They stand up and started walking away.

"Oh and by the way, you're welcome." The blonde one said and winked at you. You rolled your eyes and focused on your coffee, trying to calm yourself. These girls are really stupid.

It hasn't been not even a minute after the girls left from your table and you felt someone tapping on your shoulder. You wanted to turn around and slap that person, sure enough that it was one of the girls since the only other person who knows you here is your boss who was literally in the table next to your's and you could see him. You get so annoyed when people  (except Jihyo) touch you.

"WILL YOU PLEASE FUCKING LEAVE ME ALON- OH MY GOD." You turned around and you had to blink several times to believe in your eyes.

"Jihyo?" She smiled at you. She was really there. You could already tell she lost some weight. Is this real?

"Wow I didn't know you actually can curse at someone you barely even know" You smiled at the sound of her sweet voice and your eyes were already teary when you hugged her. You hugged her so tight, you thought she might start loosing some weight just from that. You heard her letting out a broken laugh, assuming that she teared up too. When you backed away you were still looking at her as if it's the first time you ever see her.

"How-" You started wondering but her smile was too bright for your brain to even function and help you complete your question.

"Thankfully you were really detailed yesterday, spoiling these girls' names and with a little search on the internet I found their bosses' phone and contacted them. I wanted to suprise you and they helped." So thats how they knew her name. So they didn't search on your bag, well at least you were being polite and didn't spill that coffee on them.

"When you told me you had to stay for another week yesterday I literally went crazy, there was no way I could live without you for so long so I though..why not-" You still couldn't believe what was happening. You couldn't even focus on what she was saying because you were just enjoying that voice, that voice that you missed so much. But there was one more thing you missed even more than her voice. You didn't even realised that you interrupted her when you burst your lips into her's. She kissed you back making this a even more passionate kiss and you felt like taking a dose of a drug after months of rehab.

When you pulled away you just happily stared at her while you couldn't hide your smile. Neither could she. You just realised that you can spend a whole week with Jihyo in Japan. This was indeed an opportunity to enjoy Japan like the stupid blonde girl said but the best part of it was that now, you can do it with none other than your beloved girlfriend.

"So how did you manage to survive in Japan for a week without knowing the language?" Uh huh.. you really thought Jihyo doesn't know Japanese, didn't you?

"By speaking English." You smirked at her, knowing for sure that she doesn't know English while you are fluent.

"Nice move.." She muttered under her breath and you smiled proud of your teasing win. You both started walking off the building, ready to explore Japan.
