Chapter 7

07:05, 30 July 2024

Jimin was angry. Walking down the hallway, his shoes clicked on the floor with each step as he made his way to the Guidance office. Students who witnessed him entering the office with an angry face gasped. They were shocked to see Jimin angry; how could he be? The boy had an angelic face.

What has gotten into his mind???

Did he just barge into the office like that?

He's doing drugs, Kayla.

"Mother Superior," Jimin called out to the nun who was busy with papers.

"Is that the correct way to enter someone's office, Mr. Park?" she said with a sly tone, taking off her glasses and putting them on the table.

"I apologize, Mother Superior. I just wanted to ask for permission to call all students for a meeting, now," Jimin said with authority in his voice.

"And why is that?"

"Someone's wallet has been stolen. It's my friend's wallet," he said.

"In these circumstances, Jimin, we cannot avoid them. It's simply your friend's fault if he had his wallet stolen."

"My point here, Sister, is that we are in a Catholic school. Our duty is to provide a sense of security to our students. How come we have let that trait slip from our minds?" he said with a hint of annoyance in his voice. The boy was already mad before he came in; now his blood was boiling. He knew that this woman wouldn't do anything to extinguish the fire that had grown.

"Still, your friend is still at fau-"

"That boy lost $750. He is a working student, still eighteen years old. Don't tell me you're disregarding this, Sister. We are already short on students. What if the one whose money was stolen decides to transfer?"

"It's not our loss, Mr. Park. Go back to your room. Don't you dare cut me off!" the nun shouted.

The students outside were eavesdropping on the whole conversation.

Omg, there's a thief?

Ohh, who could that beee???

"You're leaving me no choice, Sister. I hate to tell you this, but I don't like how you invalidate your students' feelings and emotions. I am not the kind of person who'll use my name to ameliorate any kind of situation," Jimin said, walking up to the nun, whose eyebrows furrowed with fear. "If you do not let me speak for someone, expect me to stop contributing to any funds here in this academy," he said with a stern voice.

"H-ho, you can't do that."

"Sister, I can, and you know that. If I'm not mistaken, we're the biggest contributors to this school. I can also convince my friends, the three KIMs, to stop helping this academy."

"All of that because your friend's money was stolen?!?! You're sacrificing the academy? The academy that you've been attending for almost six years?!"

"You've been like this since 7th grade, disregarding people's concerns. We are in a Catholic school. Don't turn it into a fucking hell."

With that, Jimin walked off, opening the door. He was greeted by many students eavesdropping. He just sighed and went to the room where they kept the mic connected to all the speakers in the school.

"Good morning, Andreans. Please proceed to the outdoor stage, now."

Yoongi and Jennie, on the other hand, heard the announcement.

"Does his voice sound like Jimin, or am I tripping?" Yoongi heard Namjoon say.

They all stood up from their seats and gathered at the outdoor stage. Jimin was already at the podium, his face filled with anger.

This is not Jimin.

"Yesterday during break time, someone's wallet was stolen. I shall not reveal the person's name as I know they are uncomfortable with it. We are all in a Catholic school. We should not make this place a dangerous one for people. What happened to 'Andreans sticking together'?" he said with a mic in his hand. "Whatever your reason is, I know that it's hard to live life without financial stability. But I'm telling you this right now, this is not a good way to get money."

He's hot when he's angry.

True, I could listen to him yap all day.

"If you do not confess now, I will be accessing all the security cameras in this academy. One by one. And if I catch you, I'll make sure to inform your family and have you expelled from this academy. If you confess now, the consequences might be lighter, but you'll be suspended for two weeks. I hope that's enough time for you to reflect on that BULLSHIT action of yours!" he said, emphasizing the word "Bullshit" which made the students' heart jump.

Jimin put the mic down on the podium and walked out. Yoongi followed him until they reached a certain area of the school. "J-Jimin," Yoongi said with a nervous tone. Of course, the boy was scared; it was his first time seeing the other one mad!

"Yoongi, why are you here?" he said, still with a hint of anger in his voice.

"Jimin, you shouldn't have done that. I told you it's okay-"

"Don't make me mad, Yoongi. Not you, too. That motherfucking nun had to always invalidate people's concerns," he said, slightly raising his voice. "S-She let the student go when I was nearly raped by that 12th-grade student. She let him go just like that? What the fuck?" he continued, his eyes on Yoongi's.

Yoongi, on the other hand, looked at him with sad eyes. He wrapped his hands around the taller's figure, hugging him like there was no tomorrow. "Thank you, Jimin."

It was time for Yoongi to go to work. He was sure that his money wouldn't come back. He had no choice but to work extra hours for a week. He had already informed the registrar and landlord to extend the deadline since he got his money stolen. Thankfully, they let him just this time.

The bell rang, indicating that a person had come in. He looked up to see who it was.

It was Jimin who had his cap on, walking his way to Yoongi, who was starstruck.

Smiling slightly, looking at the shorter boy, he fished something out of his pocket. "I have your wallet back, Yoongs."
