14:21, 14 April 2022

(Again. This is from a few days ago.)

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! I'M AT THE BEACH! FUN! WATER! OCEAN! STUPID 19 YEAR OLD BOYS STARING AT ME WONDERING WHY I'M TYPING ON MY LAPTOP!!!!!

I don't own Death Note

Mello's POV

I couldn't believe it. Razia, that stupid evil (I'M NOT WRITING THAT WORD)! She had locked us in our room. Any second now, she was going to discover Jade's secret.

"How much do you value your door?"

CRAAAAAAAAAACK SMASH BOOOOOOM!!!

(ALL THOSE GOOD DOOR SMASHING SOUNDS!!!!)

Jade's eyes were bright red, fangs extended, face a mask of pure fury. She smashed down the door easily, and we ran out. She made herself look human again, and we ran out into the hallway. One of Razia's pack was standing in the hallway, a girl our age, practically thin as paper. Her name was Willow. She saw us, and her eyes widened. I could tell she was about to call Razia. Jade clapped a hand over her mouth, and full on slammed  her into a wall. Willow's eyes rolled back in her head, and she slumped down on the ground.

We continued on. Razia was standing a few paces from Jade's door, holding a bottle of her blood. Her eyes widened with realization.

"Blood" She said. She turned, just in time to see Jade running towards her. Razia yelled something to her remaining pack, turned, and ran in the other direction. Damn! Her pack blocked our path. We tore through them, but Razia already had her head start.

Razia's POV

Blood. That girl wasn't human. All the things I had been seeing all added up now. I had to show everyone. This could Ruin her.

Jade's POV

I ran like hell. I was going to take that (insert word here) down if it killed me. I swerved down a corridor. I had lost Matt and Mello a little while ago. They simply weren't fast enough. Soon I spotted her. She was outside. I looked at her from the window. It was dark outside, nearly midnight. Fine then. I opened the window and dived out. As soon as I did so, my leathery bat/vamp wings extended. Not very pretty, but very effective. I flew down, and landed in front of her. She gasped, her eyes and brain not comprehending my wings.

I lunged. I knocked her over, and wrestled the blood away from her. She spat insults at me, and I slapped her across the face. It left a mark. My eyes were a burning red, fangs out, as I knocked her out. I picked up the blood, and started to walk away, when I heard a slight rustling near the tree behind me. I turned, expecting to see Matt or Mello. Instead I was greeted with the sight of Near, feet bare, white pajama clad, leaning against the tree.

He had seen everything. I was sure of it. He gave me a slight smile, not appearing at all afraid of me.

"I hacked L's personal files. I know you're a genetic experiment.  A vampire of sorts."

L's files were some of the most secure in the world. I doubted even Mello would be able to hack them.

I glared at him coldly. "And what, may I ask, do you plan to do with that information?"

His smile widened. It was creepy. "Nothing except remember it. After all, you are a test case here. An experiment. Wouldn't want to add more factors to an already extremely complicated equation."

"So you don't plan to tell anybody?"

He walked back to the doors of Wammy's house. "Why of course not. That would ruin the experiment!" He let out a soft laugh, and went inside.

I had been standing there for a full 30 minutes staring at the door when Mello and Matt finally found me.
