Amora

I slammed the door shut turning around, and immediately jumping back into the lockers once seeing Theo.

"Oh my god" I muttered angrily, moving away and walking around him.

"Amora, just please listen. At least for a few seconds just let me explain will you!" He exclaimed, whipping around too follow me.

"I don't want too hear it. I've clearly and firmly told you too leave me alone so why don't you listen!" I called back, continuing to walk down the hall.

"But I had no clue what I was doing! I hardly even remember it, Penelope had too explain why you suddenly were ignoring me?" He shouted, trailing behind me.

"Listen Theo. Ok I wasn't sure about it at first I'll admit not until Benny made realize just how wrong you were! Come on you couldn't be that drunk?" I shouted, sharply turning around towards him.

"Oh Benny? Of course you would fucking listen to him!" He spat angrily, stopping in front of me.

"Uh..hello because he's my boyfriend? What were you even doing- Why did you even try it?" I questioned, flailing my hands crazily.

His face softened immediately as he quickly looked down to floor, making me knit my eyebrows in confusion at his reaction.

"What Theo. Why?" I questioned again, looking at him with confusion at his hesitance.

He looked around, sighing as he closed his eyes. "Because.. because I like you ok!" he admitted, throwing his hands up as he continued to stare down at the floor.

My face immediately fell as I slowly lowered my arms, looking at him now in complete shock and confusion.

"You like- No Theo. No you don't! What do you want me to say to that? I'm in a relationship, a good one!" I shouted, throwing my hands into my hair frustratedly.

Many people started stopping and stared at us, hearing all the shouting and commotion.

I glanced around before groaning and shaking my head. "Just stop ok? I'm so sorry but no, I cannot be talking to you anymore" I ordered firmly, motioning between the two of us.

"Well do you feel the same way? Or are you just saying that because Benny told you too!" He shouted, in a mockingly tone.

"What- no I don't feel the same way! Are you an idiot? I certainly do not feel the same way at all and I want you too leave me alone so stop it for the millionth time!" I shot back, pointing too myself.

"Hey- Oh my god what in the hell is going on!" Carrie shouted, rushing over towards us.

"Shut up Carrie! You can't let Benny tell you what too think of me. You said it yourself you weren't mad at first" He ignored her, continuing to stare at me.

"So what, now you suddenly don't have your own opinion? You gonna let people tell you what to think huh?" He questioned, scoffing lightly, taking a step closer towards me.

"Oh my god shut up you moronic, stupid shit. I've already said too leave me alone not Benny, not anybody else. So will you please just go away!" I shouted back, growing angrier and angrier by the second.

"Theo! She said too leave her alone so why don't you get your raggedy ass and go already"Kenny suddenly appeared, shaking his head as he walked over.

"C'mon man she clearly doesn't want too see you, just leave it!" Bertram offered too calm him, pulling him back away from me.

Theo glanced at me them both before angrily shaking his head and pushing past them.

"Then tell me this, since you can trust your little Benny so much. Why the hell is he constantly flirting with Penelope?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes at me.

I glanced around, immediately shaking my head at how loud he was speaking with all these people around.

"Can you lower your damn-

"I know you see it. The way they talk to each other, smile at each other constantly. Always sit next together. You and I both know there's something going on" he continued, taking a step forward.

I scoffed at his words feeling my face grow hot with anger the more he talked.

I glanced around some more slowly growing embarrassed and awkward with the amount of eyes on us, letting out a sigh with my hand making it's way through my hair.

I let out a soft sniffle as I looked down, continuing to shake my head at his words. Slowly his face softened as he sighed, making his way over towards me.

"I know Amora, I know but you cannot just sit there and do nothing and let people tell you what-

I looked up, immediately blurting out the hysteric laugh I was holding in as I pushed his hands away. "Oh you sad, delusional buffoon! You think I don't have my own opinion?" I questioned.

"Well you're acting like it and I certainly do believe that from some spoiled girl whose had everything done and handed to her. I'm not surprised by it" He spat, nodding his head at my question.

I let out another disbelieved laugh, pointing towards my chest "What do you think I am Theo? A senseless, mellow barbie that just sits there and smiles?" I mocked.

"You know what. Yeah I actually do. Because that's exactly what you are! You know you're completely letting these people run you over" He scoffed, motioning towards the three that stood next to me.

"Huh? Excuse me?" Carrie questioned, crossing her arms with a scoff.

"You heard me. God Amora I didn't know you were so stupid and so easy to manipulate" he scoffed, looking back towards me as he shook his head.

"Stupid? Oh please. I have plenty ideas and opinions, and a mind just of my own. And I am certain that I'm not being manipulated when you were the one who started this whole thing?If anything they're helping me by not letting me be around you" I scoffed, harshly poking at his chest.

"So listen to me when I say that I want you too stop and turn around right now. And leave me the hell alone!" I added, roughly poking at his chest once more.

"Go home man! You don't even know what you're saying!" Kenny scoffed, pushing him back even more.

He shook his head, clenching his jaw as he stared at me in disappointment.

"Fine, you're acting like a moron right now but I'm not done with you yet. I still want to make things right with you" he stated, slowly lowering his tone.

I stared him blankly, having no idea what to say in the moment.

He shook his head again before turning around and pushing past Kenny and Bertram.

We all watched him walk away before slowly looking to each other, as I let out a huge breathe of relief.

"What the hell just happened!" Carrie exclaimed, looking over to me in confusion.

"He- he just won't leave me alone. He keeps trying too explain himself" I sighed, shaking my head as I explained.

"Are you ok? It seemed like a really heated fight" Bertram questioned, rubbing my back softly.

"Yeah I'm fine. He's just got me real riled up which oh I really, really hate" I frowned, looking down too my shoes sadly.

"Ok, we all agree too not tell Benny about this though right?" Kenny asked, looking to the each of us.

"He'd totally flip" Carrie huffed, shaking her head as she looked to me.

We all looked around at each other before nodding our heads.

"Fine. Penelope's not going to be there to save his ass all of the time so fine. For his own idiotic sake fine" I huffed, nodding my head in agreement.

I leaned back in my seat crossing my arms as I thought too myself.

I absolutely knew Benny would never ever cheat on me, but yet I couldn't help but think about it. I wish I could stop, but the subject somehow made its way to my mind constantly and it was completely bugging me.

I sighed shaking my head returning back too Carrie and yeah-yeah who sat in the front seat.

"Ok what's next Carrie?" I questioned, leaning over towards Carrie upfront.

"First thing I do is put on my blinker" she stated, nodding her head as she reached down.

"Oh wait shit" she groaned, looking down once she turned on the window wipers.

I shook my head and rubbed my eyes as yeah-yeah cracked a small laugh at her struggle, making her look over and shoot him a look.

"Ok good. What's next?" I questioned, looking over her shoulder.

"I check my mirror. Ok, then I glance at my blind spot" she replied, making me nod in approval.

She glanced over her shoulder yet turning the wheel with her movement, making the car swerve over.

Yeah-yeah and I both immediately let out small shrieks at the sudden jerk, with me gripping tightly onto the seat from the harsh motion.

"You glance with your head Carrie not the whole car!" I shouted, as yeah-yeah quickly turned the wheel back.

"It's ok, it's ok! I got it" Carrie assured, smacking his hands away.

"Guys do you think Benny would ever..cheat on me?" I blurted, knitting my eyebrows together still in deep thought with the subject.

"What!" Yeah-yeah and Carrie both shouted, whipping their heads back at the sudden question.

"Why would you think that!" Carrie exclaimed, looking back ahead of her.

"Yeah yeah truly. What are you thinking?" Yeah-yeah added, shaking his head at my question.

"I don't know ok I was just thinking about what Theo said and-

"No don't even listen too that crazy creature. He's got no idea what he's talking about" Carrie cut me off, shaking her head at my words.

"Yeah yeah Benny would never do that. Why would you say that, it's Benny!" Yeah-yeah exclaimed, throwing his hands up crazily.

"I know I know. I just can't help but think about it. I mean, please tell me I'm not the only one starting to get fished out by Penelope?" I questioned, looking to the both of them.

"She's my friend yes! But, still I think she's been acting a little too friendly towards him for my taste" I continued, shaking my head.

"I mean, maybe. She does constantly talk about him when you're not around Amora" Carrie shrugged, looking at me through the mirror.

"What! What does she say?" I shrieked, whipping up from my seat.

"Well, just stuff and stories Benny would tell her about the sandlot. Baseball stuff too. But not anything weird or out of the ordinary" She explained, shrugging after.

"Ugh this is way stressing me" I whined, plopping back in my seat.

"Don't worry about it Amora. This is Benny we're talking about here. The Benny that's like in love with you" Yeah-yeah assured, glancing back at me

I sighed looking down at my hands, still feeling a bit uneasy.

"Hey- Carrie what are you doing?" Yeah-yeah snapped, looking at her in confusion.

"Carrie! Oh my god you're going on the freeway!" I exclaimed, sitting up from my seat.

We all let out shrieks of horror once seeing we were now on the freeway lane, with many many cars surrounding us.

"What do I do yeah-yeah!" Carrie shrieked, looking at him with terror.

"Just relax and drive! It's ok!" Yeah-yeah assured her, trying his hardest too not freak out with her.

"You better not crash Carrie! Hey- look ahead!" I shrieked, snapping her away too look away.

"Oh ok ok!" She cried out, gripping onto the wheel tightly and nervously.

Suddenly a loud honk blared from behind us making us look back and scream once seeing a big truck right on our tails.

Carrie let go of the wheel to cover her eyes, screaming in panic along with yeah-yeah and I.

"Carrie! What are you doing?" Yeah-yeah shrieked, quickly placing her hands back on.

A few people on motorcycles roared past us, making us all jump up from the noise and scream even louder.

"Go straight and switch lanes Carrie!" I screamed, covering my eyes from fear.

Slowly she began too turn the car turning into a a different lane, making us let out breaths of relief once she stopped the car.

I slowly uncovered my eyes catching my breathe, as Carrie whimpered and shook from the shock and fear.

"Ok were good. You did wonderful" yeah-yeah sighed, breathing out in relief.

"You did it Carrie" I choked out, slowly sitting back up from my seat.

"You did good. Relax it's ok, breathe" Yeah-yeah assured, putting his hand on her shoulder.

I watched as they slowly took deep breaths in and out together, making Carrie begin to relax and slowly catch her breathe.

Suddenly they leaned over embracing each other in a kiss, well more like full on make out. My eyebrows knitted together in total confusion from the oddness since we almost just died a few seconds ago.

"Ugh gross c'mon guys" I gagged, scrunching my face up in disgust as I looked away.

Boy, getting off the freeway makes you realize just how important love is.
