Amora

I pulled the key out from the ignition and sighed happily, finally being thankful too have arrived in one piece.

"You did good Amora!" Carrie encouraged, rubbing my shoulder once we we're out of the car.

"Thanks. I still feel way bad about it though, it was so cute" I pouted, sadly walking over towards the back.

"No it wasn't? It was all dead and bloody-

"Squints! Shut up already!" Kenny and Bertram both shouted, smacking his arm.

I shook my head as I pulled out my of course heavy bag, that's filled too the brim now with things for the beach.

I grunted beginning to walk onto the sand before feeling my hand being lifted up and a humongous weight being taken off.

"Thanks Benny" I thanked him, shooting him a soft smile. He simply nodded and smiled as we all began to walk onto the sand.

"Ugh, I forgot just how much I hate sand in my shoes" Carrie groaned, kicking at the ground angrily.

"Hey! What took you guys forever!" Hams called out, making us look over to see the group all sat around together.

"Oh nothing except the fact we almost died three times" yeah-yeah answered, making me roll my eyes.

I shook my head plopping down onto a chair next to Theo and William as they laughed at my expression.

"Why so pouty?" William questioned, shooting me a sad frown.

"I killed a raccoon on the way here. Oh I'm the way worst drive ever" I sighed, crossing my arms with a frown.

"Awe I'm sure you aren't. Everyone was freaking out with Williams driving as well" Theo comforted, rubbing my shoulder softly.

"Shut up it wasn't that bad" William scoffed, shaking his head in denial.

"Yes it was! We almost got pulled over by the fuzz!" Madeline now chimed in, shaking her head disappointingly.

"Whatever. At least now we can be bad drivers together" William rolled his eyes, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

I cracked a small smile shaking my head as I watched the boys all begin to get ready to run into the water.

My hand was soon tugged by William as he ushered me into the water, with Theo shaking his head before following behind.

"Ugh ok ok. Wait!" I groaned, pulling my hands away from him.

I groaned looking down as I began to unbutton my shorts, placing my hands onto the hem, about to pull them down before slowly looking back up.

"Turn around!" I shouted, seeing them all staring at me as they waited.

Immediately the three girls smacked the boys heads, causing them too instantly slap their hands over their eyes.

I rolled my eyes continuing to pull down my shorts before slipping my shirt off quickly too reveal the bathing suit underneath.

"Ok I'm good" I called back out as I turned around to set my clothes onto the chair.

Immediately once I turned back around I noticed the sharp glares Benny was sending Theo who continuously took glances at me.

I shook my head brushing it off and waving them too follow as we started walking towards the water.

As soon as the water touched my feet I let out a shriek and jumped back from the sudden freezing temperature change.

"Uh you know what? You guys go on without me, I'll just stay-

I was immediately cut off when a pair of arms grabbed onto me and pulled me into the water.

I coughed instantly once I arose from the water wiping the water away from my eyes.

"Goodness- fuck Benny. Are you trying to-to drown me?" I coughed in between words, pushing the hair away from my face.

"Awe I'm sorry" he laughed, patting my back too help me cough out the water.

I coughed out one last time before shoving him back into the water making a satisfied smile spread across my face.

"Hey! Who wants too play?" Carrie called out holding up a ball in her hands.

I frowned seeing everyone nod eagerly, realizing I too would have to play along in this wacky game.

Everyone began to spread out into two teams and somehow Benny was pulled away onto the other team making me groan at the fact.

He would so help us win!

I looked back too see Carrie, William, Theo and a few of the other boys on my team.

"Alright fuckers I'm way not trying too lose to yeah-yeah here. He would never let me live it down!" Carrie called, throwing the ball up and catching it.

"Were so going to lose. They have Benny and Penelope. Both who are good at sports" William sighed, shaking his head as he motioned over to the two.

"Hey! Have a little faith in us here?" Squints called out, wrapping his arms around our shoulders.

"Yeah. Have you seen my heaters? This should be cake!" Kenny held up his arm, patting it softly.

I let out a huff watching when Carrie threw the ball and hit over towards them with them hitting it back towards us.

It went like that for about 30 minutes now and sadly, yet expectedly. We were losing.

I watched as the ball was thrown over towards us with squints and Timmy who both tried to reach for the ball, making them harshly bump heads.

"Hey! That was my ball!" Squints shouted, angrily crossing his arms.

"Oh god ok ok time out!" Carrie held up her hands, waving us all over.

"Face it Carrie. We're way losing to them. I'm going to have buy some ear plugs because I know dang well Benny won't ever shut up about it" I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms.

"I would have scored a point if you two moved your dang arms away!" Kenny complained, pointing too William and Theo.

"Us? Your blaming us now!" William exclaimed, pointing to his chest in shock.

"Ok ok how about. I move up front. We all know Penelope hits hard and far towards the back so you" Theo started, pointing at Timmy.

"You hit it too squints. Pass it towards me and I'll hit it towards Smalls left side. We all know he has a weak left hand" Theo ordered, looking to the each of us as he spoke.

We all looked to each other before slowly nodding, spreading out and walking back to our spots.

Theo now stood next to me making me shoot him a smile too which he quickly returned.

The ball was thrown around again until it reached Penelope who of course hit it hard towards the back, which Timmy and squints now began Theo's plan.

Squints passed it towards Theo who did just as he said he would, hitting it towards Smalls left side resulting in scoring a point.

We all looked to each other with our faces lit up now that it worked.

Theo then huddled us again together discussing a new plan. Which we followed along to his orders until we were tied with each other.

"Theo! You want me too hit? Have you even seen these arms they're weak! I can only pass!" I shrieked, looking at him wide eyed with his idea.

"Yup. I know you can do it, just believe in yourself. I promise you'll do good" Theo assured, patting my back.

I frowned before looking over to see the other group, huddled up and doing the same as us.

"Fine" I pouted, turning around and walking back towards my spot.

The ball was thrown up and passed back and forth between teams, as I watched with my stomach beginning to twist and turn from nerves.

Soon Theo looked over towards me making me gulp, knowing exactly what he meant.

The ball was passed towards me with me taking in a nervous breath before hitting it, way hard might I add. It felt like I nearly broke my own arm.

I watched as the ball flew fast towards the group over towards Benny and Penelope making them both reach for the ball, resulting in them bumping into each other and the ball falling into the water.

We all jumped up, gasping immediately, looking to each other and widening our eyes.

"Yes! Theo did you see that! I did it!" I squealed, clapping my hands happily before jumping up and embracing him into an excited hug.

"I told you!" Theo exclaimed, wrapping his arms around me proudly.

"Oh my god..I think I totally sprained my wrist though!" I laughed, squeezing him tightly.

"What! Really, let me see?" He pulled away, immediately grabbing onto my hand.

He grabbed onto my hand examining it carefully as I watched, laughing at his reaction.

"It's fine Theo. You're way good, how on earth did you know what too do?" I questioned, referring back to the game as I watched him.

"I played football and did a lot of coaching" he shrugged, continuing to look at my wrist.

I nodded with a smile before glancing back over to see the other group who were all yelling at each other from their lose.

My smile dropped seeing Benny who narrowed his eyes, staring right at Theo.I looked back down seeing Theo who continued to flip my hand around, searching for any damage.

It soon clicked into my mind to why he looked upset, making me slowly pull my hand away from him.

"It's fine Theo, really. I can't believe I hit it that hard!" I shrugged my hand off, putting on a smile.

"Yeah I told you. You did good" he laughed, patting my shoulder.

I smiled at him before turning around and happily walking over towards Benny who continued to shoot him glares.

"Benny! Did you see that hit! Oh I hit that thing so-

"What was he doing?" He cut me off, glancing back towards Theo.

My smile dropped hearing his tone as I glanced back towards Theo. "Oh, he was just helping me. I kind of hurt my wrist but I'm fine" I answered, waving my hand to shrug it off.

He slowly nodded, thinking to himself for a moment before finally sighing. Looking back down to me and cracking a small smile.

"I can't believe you beat me" he shook his head, scoffing disbelievingly.

"I know right! Finally, three games I've got you beat" I smiled, taking his hand and pulling him towards the rest of the group.
