Amora

Of course this was a very stressful, humongous event. At least to me it was.

So with that, I absolutely needed to send in reinforcements.

"Thank you guys so much for helping me. I got no idea what to do, what to say, oh why is this so complicated!" I cried throwing my head into my hands.

"Oh girl relax, it's so exciting! He wants you too meet his parents!" Carrie squealed, hugging my shoulder tightly.

"You know what that means. He's hooked on you" William laughed, as he looked at me through the mirror in front of us.

"Ugh I hope so, I know I totally am" I smiled, feeling my cheeks begin to heat up.

I pushed myself up from the dresser, walking over towards my closet and digging through the hung up clothes.

"So, what do we think. An alaia dress. Or, classic shirt and skirt?" I questioned, holding up two hangers.

I watched as Carrie and William both looked between the two, looking to each other before pointing at one.

"Hm, alaia. Good choice" I nodded in approval, putting up the other hanger back onto the rack.

I stepped back into the room, now fully dressed as I quickly walked over towards the mirror. Fluffing up my hair and fixing the straps on my shoulders.

"Oh I'm so gonna look like an idiot. I have no clue what to talk about with them?" I frowned, referring back towards Benny's parents.

"You'll do just fine girl don't even worry-

Carrie was cut off when the doorbell rang making me instantly let out a shriek.

"Oh my god. Guys oh crap-I'm so gonna throw up!" I furrowed my eyebrows in worry, holding onto my stomach nervously.

"Don't worry!""You'll do fine!" Carrie and William both encouraged as they lead me downstairs.

I nervously walked over and opened up the door to see an incredibly looking Benny, that completely made my heart drop to my feet.

"Wow, look at my boy all dolled up?" I teased, smoothing out the sleeves of his jacket.

A small laugh escaped from his lips with him rolling his eyes, before I turned back around towards the other two.

"Call us ok?" William rubbed my shoulder briefly, before stepping down the steps in front of me.

"We want to know everything!" Carrie pointed her finger at me firmly.

"Oh my god wait! Picture!" She squealed, quickly digging into her bag and pulling out a camera.

Carrie's been taking a photography class so now she takes her camera with her everywhere, and constantly snaps pictures of everything and anything. Even if they aren't interesting at all!

I rolled my eyes before Benny pulled me in closer. Squishing our faces together as we smiled at the camera, practically going blind at the bright light that flashed.

"Holy god. I can't see" I groaned, blinking the blur away from my eyes

Carrie and William waved us goodbye before walking off down the street, leaving me too look back at Benny.

"You look... beautiful, by the way" he smiled lightly, glancing up and down briefly before pecking my cheek.

"Yeah..you too?" I smiled sarcastically, reaching up and pecking his cheek as well.

He shook his head, rolling his eyes before taking my hand. I smiled feeling my cheeks heat up before walking out of the house, closing the door behind me.

——

The whole walk to his house consisted of Benny filling me in on his family members, what they were like, what to expect, and what too watch out for.

If anything it only made me even more nervous.

As we soon approached the house it felt like my stomach instantly twisted and turned, making the feeling of wanting to puke return.

"Oh Benny, hold on- I'm way nervous" I frowned, pulling my hand out of his and holding onto my stomach.

"Don't be, they're going to love you. Just like me!" He smiled, pecking my lips before opening up the door.

I slowly smiled and nodded before I immediately paused, letting his words sink in.

Wait a minute did he just say that he-

I cut my own thoughts off when I met the eyes of a women, making me instantly smile at the familiar face.

"Hi Amora!" Catherine smiled instantly, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Oh it's so good to see you! The kids miss you so much!" She smiled, looking down at me once we pulled away.

"Oh I miss them too! That Ruby is way adorable!" I gushed, thinking back to the little girl at the daycare.

"Come in come in! Dinner is just about done!" She smiled ushering me into the house.

I smiled as I began to take off my coat with Benny immediately helping me and taking the coat off my hands.

I sent him a thanks with a smile before looking over to see a girl and boy who both sat on the couch, staring right at me.

I gulped immediately freezing in place, putting on a nervous smile, and giving them a small wave.

"Wow so this, is the Amora this little sucker is constantly talking about?" The girl stood, immediately walking over.

A sheepish smile grew onto my face as I looked over to see Bennys face grow pink as he rolled his eyes at her.

"I'm Natalia, Benny's sister" she introduced herself, holding out her hand."I'm Amora" I smiled, kindly shaking her hand back.

"We all know. This guy never shuts the hell up about you" The boy now walked over, standing next to Natalia.

"Ok ok. Can you quit saying that?" Benny jumped in, growing annoyed at the constant mention.

"I'm Luis, this lover boy's brother" he laughed, jokingly smacking the back of Bennys head.

"It's very nice to meet you both" I gave them a kind smile, looking between the two of them.

"Very, now tell me. Why would you want to go out with this troll?" Natalia joked, pointing back towards Benny.

"Yeah, did you know he still watches that Mr. Magoo cartoon?" Luis added, sending Benny a smug smile.

"Geez isn't that things for like 5 years old?" Natalia questioned, titling her head mockingly with Luis who nodded.

"Oh my god. Can you fuckers shut already?" Benny groaned, grabbing onto my hand and pulling me back next to him.

"Hey- excuse me, whose house are you in?Watch the language" Catherine scolded, pointing the spatula in her hand towards him.

"Sorry" Benny muttered, sucking in a breathe before looking back towards me.

"Oh, do you need anything done. I can totally help!" I walked over, looking over the pans that were on the stove.

"Oh no dear, it's fine! Don't worry about it, but can you taste this? Tell me what you think?" She dipped a spoon into the soup, handing it over to me.

"Is it good? Did I add too much salt?" She asked immediately, as I slipped the spoon into my mouth.

"Are you kidding! This is way amazing!" I exclaimed, looking down at the pot in awe."You've got too teach me how to cook, I'm so awful!" I shook my head with a frown, handing the spoon back to her.

"Of course! Oh my god finally, someone here wants to learn my cooking, and actually appreciates it you kids hear?" She called out, gaining the three siblings attention.

"Hey! I like your cooking. And I appreciate it all the time?" Luis defended, crossing his arms as they all walked over.

"Yeah no, not enough" Catherine shook her head, smacking his hand with the handle of a spoon.

Suddenly then footsteps creaked into the room making all of our heads whip over to see a man who looked very similar to Benny and Luis.

"Oh dear, we have company! My little baby finally got himself a lovely girl!" Catherine teased, pinching Benny's cheek.

"Hello Mr. Rodriguez. It's super nice to meet you" I smiled walking over as I held out my hand to him.

"Oh, nice to meet you too dear. But you can call me Pablo" he gave me a greeting smile, before shaking my hand.

I smiled turning around to see Benny already smiling at me, he took my hand in his before leading me towards the table where everyone sat.

"You think they like me?" I leaned over whispering to him, as I sat down in the chair next to him.

"I know it's too soon to tell, but like am I doing good?" I continued to ramble, making him smile at my outburst.

"You're doing fine, quite worrying" he laughed, squeezing my hand lightly to assure me.

I nodded as I let out a small breathe, releasing my nerves before turning back to see everyone beginning to sit down at the table.

Oh, I hope I don't say anything stupid.
