I leaned against the gate crossing my arms as I let out a tired sigh.

"Will you shut up already!" Aubrey snapped, sending me an annoyed glare.

"Geez looney, mellow out will you" I waved my hand at her, chewing onto a stick of gum before rolling my eyes.

"Alright! Let's take five!" Benny called out, making the rest of them sprint towards the dugout.

I watched as they threw open the cooler, immediately passing around bottles of pop.

"You're going to kill them if you keep playing out in this sun" I shook my head, examining my nails.

Benny rolled his eyes before handing me a pop which I declined, too much sugar obviously.

"So, what now?" Kenny asked, once they all sat down catching their breaths.

They all looked to each other shrugging, not knowing what to say.

"I got it!" Bertram piped up, holding his finger up with a smile."How about we sneak into a flick! I heard there's this really good scary one playing! Bertram suggested, as they all nodded in agreement.

I walked alongside Carrie who was too busy chattering with yeah-yeah, before seeing everyone stop abruptly.

I looked around them seeing the theater ahead, before they all huddled together.

"So what's the plan here?" Carrie asked, making them all look to benny for an answer.

"What! How am I supposed to know?" He exclaimed, crossing his arms as they all groaned.

I looked back over to see a boy, who looked around our age standing at the entrance to check everyone in.

"I got it!" I exclaimed, making there heads all whip towards me."Well what is it!" Squints shrieked, ushering me to continue.

"Alright, us girls" I started, motioning towards Carrie and Aubrey."Will go over there, and distract him! It's the perfect-

"What!" Benny cut me off, looking down at me wide eyed."Yeah yeah! I don't like that idea!" Yeah-yeah added, shaking his head in disagreement.

"You're way right, she would totally scare him off!" I exclaimed, pointing towards Aubrey.She scoffed immediately sending me daggers with her look.

"But fine, if you don't want your girlfriends to talk to a boy!" I groaned, motioning towards Carrie and Aubrey."Then I'll do it, move you bores" I said finally, before pushing past them.

"What! No you aren't!" Benny exclaimed, grabbing onto my arm to pull me back.

"Gross let me go! Why not!" I groaned, pushing his hand away before crossing my arms.

"Because you just aren't, there's gotta be another way" he said firmly, before we all looked around.

"The roof?" Smalls soft voice piped up, making there eyes lit up.

"I can't believe we're really doin' this you know I could've so just talked to that guy for like 2 minutes and we would've already been in!" I rambled, as I angrily followed behind.

"But no, you dimwitted creatures thought you were so smart to go through the fucking vents!"I continued

"Plus, this is way gross! My top is so dirtied!" I whined, looking down to shirt while continuing to crawl.

"Shut up you're so-

"Shh!" They cut Aubrey off, shushing her immediately.

I sighed as I watched them jump down into the room one by one, before it was my turn.

I looked down clearing my throat as I glanced down to my heels."C'mon jump already!" Hams cupped his hand over his mouth, calling out before getting yelled at to keep it down.

"Yeah I'd really rather not break my ankle. Or worse! My heel, this baby was 90 bucks!" I exclaimed, lifting up my leg to see my shoes.

"Oh jump already you baby, and make sure to land on your head!" Aubrey called out, rolling her eyes.

I scoffed ready to lash out at her before feeling a pair of hands grab onto me and pull me down.

Immediately I tensed up and pushed at Benny's arms to release me."Hey-hey! Put me down!" I shouted, seeing him carrying me back down.

"Shh! Are you trying to get us caught!" He groaned, putting me back down to the floor as I immediately stepped away.

I let out a small groan as I wiped off my clothes, shuddering in disgust.

I watched as yeah-yeah helped Carrie down, before we all quietly walked out of the room to see an empty hall.

We all peeked our heads out before slowly stepping out and walking down the hall.

"See? Told you this would-

Kenny was cut off when a voice shouted, making us whip our heads back to see a man who stood down at the end of the hall.

"Hey! You kids got passes?" He asked, eyeing us suspiciously as he walked towards us.

We all looked to each other widening our eyes, not having any idea what to do in this moment.

"Uh of course sir! Why would we not?" I asked, giving the man a smile.He rose a suspicious eyebrow before nodding once he stood in front of us."Can I see 'em?" He asked, making my heart instantly sink.

I looked back to see them all have panicked expressions washed over there faces."Look!" Squints shouted, pointing out into the distance.

I furrowed my eyebrows once seeing nothing as the man turn around, before looking back confused.

I widened my eyes seeing them all scatter around running to different directions.

Benny immediately grabbed my hand once seeing I wasn't moving, pulling me down the hall along with him as I widened my eyes and glanced back seeing the man now just noticing we were gone.

"Hey! Get back-

The mans voice cut out once Benny threw us both into a storage supply closet, quickly shutting it behind.

"Ow! Let go of me!" I gritted my teeth, pulling my hand away from him.

"What the hell was-

"Shh!" He quickly shushed me, before slowly peeking through the small window at top.

He let out a sigh of relief before turning around immediately widening his eyes once he seen how close we were.

"I know! You really chose this tiny room to hide in doofus?" I groaned shaking my head, before taking a small step back.

He only shook his head letting out a small breathe before looking away, as we both stood there silently.

"Are we gonna just wait here or something!" I groaned, growing impatient."Well yeah, You're not trying to get caught right?" He groaned back, before telling me to be quiet again.

I let out a huff crossing my arms as we stood in silence, quietly waiting.

I looked down to my shoes boredly before looking back up, furrowing my eyebrows once my eyes met with benny's.

"What are you doing wacko?" I questioned, taking another small step back considering he was looking at me.

He stayed quiet shaking his head before finally looking away, leaving me to roll my eyes.

Suddenly then the door whipped open to reveal the same man with an extremely angered expression over his face.

"Ugh! I knew it! This is the absolute worst hiding spot" I groaned, shaking my head at Benny disappointingly.
