Amora

I let out a bored sigh, looking up to see everyone on the field running towards Small who began to climb over a fence.

"What in the?" I questioned, as Carrie and I both leaned forward to see better.

I watched as they ran up to Smalls dragging him back from the fence, shouting crazily.

"Hey! What's happened!" I called, with Carrie and I both approaching them.

"You're big dumb Smalls!" Kenny breathed out heavily, shaking his head."Yeah yeah you can forget about that ball!" Yeah-yeah added, with a nod from everyone else.

"What! Why what's back there!" Smalls questioned, furrowing his eyebrows when they looked to each other nervously.

"Smalls, just go look alright?" Benny ordered, stepping forward and placing his hand on his shoulder.

"B-but what's back there?" Smalls asked again, beginning to stammer."Just go" Benny ignored his question, moving him forward towards the fence.

I crossed my arms watching as they all stepped back from the fence, with fear exposed on there faces.

Smalls slowly walked over, and kneeled down to look through the small hole that was in the wooden fence.

"What was that!" Smalls shrieked, jumping back quickly.

They all looked to each other before shaking there heads and yelling "camp out".

"Carrie, I really don't wanna do this! Why are you doing this to me!" I whined, dragging my feet sadly behind her.

"Amora, I'm real sorry but I couldn't come alone! That'd just be way scary could you imagine" She explained, rubbing my back to comfort me.

I sighed once Carrie began to climb up a ladder, with me sadly following behind.

I groaned as I continued to pull myself up from the ladder, before seeing benny hold out his hand to help me up.

"Yuck! I got it!" I groaned, smacking his hand away once I stood up.

"Geez, I was just helping?" He rolled his eyes, before walking into a room with me slowly following behind.

I looked around the room to see everyone crammed in doing there own thing, with chatter erupting loudly from them.

I huffed hesitantly sitting down onto a rug that was placed onto the floor, with Carrie next to me.

"Carrie, just know you so owe me a shopping day!" I muttered, leaning over so she could hear.She only laughed with a nod, before rubbing my shoulder in agreement.

"Well if it isn't the two sissies?" Aubrey snickered, looking down at us once she walked by.

"Ugh! I could totally strangle that girl" I muttered, as Carrie and I watched her walk over and sit next to Benny.

"Alright! Now that we're all here!" Squints called out, flicking off the lights."It's time I tell you the story of the beast!" He gave us a devious smile, as he turned on a flashlight.

I crossed my arms watching as they sat to the floor huddling together, which pushed me next to benny making me groan in annoyance.

Moments later he finished the story, as we all stared at him wide eyed.

"The beast ate what now!" Carrie shrieked, grabbing onto yeah-yeah in fear.

"Oh c'mon that story is totally ridiculous!" I laughed, shaking my head at the fantasy he just told.

"Is not! The beast has been sitting under that house dreaming about the day he can break out of those chains, and get out!" Squints insisted, pointing his finger at me.

"No way! You-you're just saying that to scare us!" Smalls stammered, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Go ahead then, look. He's right down there!" Squints persuaded, pointing towards the window.

Smalls looked back at us before hesitantly walking over, and peeking his head out of window.

I bit onto my lip nervously watching as he let out a shriek making me flinch from the suddenness.

"He's down there!" He shrieked, rushing back over towards us in fright.

"Awe are you scared?" Benny teased, with a smug smile.

"Shut up you bozo!" I groaned, desperately holding myself back from smacking him.

"That beast is not real! That's way lame!" I insisted, rubbing Smalls back who still sat in fear.

"Why don't we feed you to him then?" Aubrey crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Why don't we feed those shoes to him! God awful" I shook my head, holding my hand out to look away from her.

Everyone slowly began to scatter away going back to what they were doing, leaving me to sit and lean against a wall in silence.

I hummed to myself softly beginning to twirl a small piece of my hair, before spotting Carrie who was sat chattering happily away with yeah-yeah.

I cracked a small smile at the scene before sighing and looking away.

"Bored?" A voice asked, making me whip my head over to see benny.

"No, just fine!" I groaned, waving my hand to shoo him away.

He ignored me by plopping down next to me, smirked lightly once he realized he was getting under my skin.

"Amora, can I ask you something?" He asked, looking over to me as I huffed."No, you can't!" I groaned, hoping he would listen.

"Why do you hate me?" He questioned, tilting his head slightly.

"Oh I don't know! Your presence just annoys me?" I sent him a sarcastic smile, with a shrug.

"Well why don't you like Aubrey?" He continued, making me become more irritated at her name.

"Why do you like Aubrey? That's the real question!" I pointed my finger at him, turning the question around.

"Well she's nice, and can play ball good. Unlike you!" He rolled his eyes, copying me by pointing at me.

"Good. I don't wanna be a thing like her!" I groaned, crossing my arms angrily.

"Oh, you're talking about me?" Aubrey popped out from seemingly nowhere, raising her eyebrow.

"Yes, we're talking about what an annoying-

"No we are not! Shut up Amora!" Benny cupped his hand over my mouth, cutting me off.

"Ugh gross!" I gagged pushing his hand away from me, and wiping my mouth.

"You don't want to be around her anyway Benny" she narrowed her eyes at me, before snatching his arm.

"Ugh! You're totally giving me a headache!" I groaned, sitting up from the floor.

"Carrie! I'm outtie!" I called out briefly, before pushing past them both towards the door.

"What! No why?" She exclaimed, immediately rushing towards me and grabbing onto my arm.

"First of all I can't stand that goon!" I called out loudly, making Aubrey let out a scoff.

"And also, I actually have to go. I can't upset my dad more then he already is" I explained, with a as I smoothed out my top.

"Can you believe he took away my allowance! And sent me to help out at a daycare. Totally not cool!" I shrieked, as she followed me out of the door.
