Chapter 15 🖤🎈

Marie Cousins P.O.VI went to bed, and slept and uneasy sleep. All of a sudden,I heard a voice, and it woke me up right away.

"Hiya Marie." The voice said.

Two yellow eyes appeared in the darkness.

I started to breathe heavily.

"Who are you?" I said.

"Oh, well I'm Pennywise The Dancing Clown." It said.

I didn't beileve what I was seeing. I rushed over to the light switch, and turned it on, and It was gone. My breaths were still heavy, the breaths I could catch of course.

It was 4:00am. My dad would be leaving for work soon. I peaked out my bedroom door, and saw my dad getting his coat on, and leaving out the door through the cracks in the staircase. I figured I'd probably get up as well. I was hungry, so I just ate some breakfast. I had some cereal. I couldn't wait to go to the quarry today. Hopefully Beverly can make it as well. She's a really good person to talk to about this stuff.

~time skip~It was almost time for me to leave. My mother was still sleeping. I got my lunch, and the rest of my things, and packed them in my backpack. I sped walked out the door, and walked over to Eddie's, and knocked on his door.

"Hey Marie." Eddie said.

"Ready?" I asked him.

He nodded, yelled a goodbye to his mother, and walked down the porch with me.

"Eddie. Something weird happened last night." I said.

"Oh?"

"There was this thing in my room. He called himself Pennywise."Eddie held my hand softly.

"I'm scared Eddie." I said on the break of tears."

"I know. I'm scared too."

I started to squeeze his hand. Eddie pulled on his inhaler and took a puff of it, and then put it away.

"What if Pennywise has something to do with all these missing kids?" I said.

Eddie looked at me, with his brown eyes getting blurry with tears.

I wiped the tear off his face that escaped from his eyelids with my thumb. (The thumb on the hand that wasn't holding his.) Eventully, we reached the school. Thank god Beverly was there.

"Hey Bev." I said to her as we approached her.

Bill, Stan and Ben were there. But no Richie.

"Hey guys there's something I need to talk to you about." I said.

I sat down on the step beside Beverly, and Eddie sat down on the other side of me.

"Last night, there was something in my room." I said. "What was it?" Beverly asked.

"I'm not sure exactly, but It said It's name was Pennywise." I said.

"Do you think it has something to do with all the missing kids?"

"There's a chance. But I could just be crazy."

Eddie and Beverly rubbed my shoulders. Bill just walked away. Georgie. Georgie is one of the missing kids. Stanley walked away as well. But Ben stayed. Richie came walking by. He took one look at me, then a look at Eddie, and left.
