Chapter 26:

I stayed in the car with Logan as Dustin and Kendall went into the store to the pharmacy and to get groceries. I felt like passing out but instead I made conversation with Logan. "Sup?" I asked leaning against the car door. Logan had his legs stretched out over the whole back seat with his hat on right for once as his head was on the window. He smirked at me awkward greeting.

"Not much, just tired." He told me.

"Didn't sleep well?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No one slept last night. They were either worried about you or Alexa. Or if they're a kind person, both of you." He said pointing at himself. I giggled and nodded.

"Some of you were only worried about one of us?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Obviously Kendall was worried about you, I was worried about you, Heather, Scott, and Dustin were worried about you." He smiled. I thought a moment.

"Oh... Okay... Well thanks for caring? I guess?" I giggled.

Then I remembered Scott's plan for last night, I wondered if he ever got to actually do it. "Hey! Do you know if anyone got engaged last night?" I asked staring out the drivers side window.

"Uh, no? Was someone suppose to?" He asked kind of jumpy. He was a little more interested in our conversation than before now. I squinted at him and tilted my head knowing he wasn't saying something on purpose.

"What aren't you telling me Logan?" I asked him. He smiled evilly.

"Wouldn't you like to know." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and sat the right way in the seat as I saw Kendall and Dustin coming out I the store. They each had three bags of groceries each while Kendall had a little paper sack which I'm guessing was my medicine.

They got in as Kendall sat all his bags on Logan in the back. "Hey!" He called out. Kendall laughed.

"Shut up." He told Logan. We eventually got home and saw that Scott and Heather were already inside. Logan and Dustin carried Kendall's groceries as Kendall helped me up the stairs. A good ten minutes later I felt faint and Kendall was opening the door. Scott and Heather were standing, looking towards the door smiling.

Logan had to balance me while I stood waiting for Kendall's arms to wrap around me. We walked in and sat me at the bar. He handed me a banana and instructed me to eat it. "How do you feel?" Heather asked sitting at the bar next to me.

"I've been better." I said taking a bite out of the banana. Scott and the other boys were talking with Kendall about how to make lunch. "So how are you?" I asked her seeing if Scott followed through. She shrugged.

"No one slept last night. Kendall especially. We all stayed here. Logan, Dustin, Scott, me, Carlos. Kendall paced the house, while Carlos sat like a zombie. we all got maybe an hour of sleep." She said playing with a ring that wasn't on the left ring finger and not an engagement ring. I felt bad for her and Scott, their big plans which she had no idea about hadn't even happened because of... What happened. I got a little woozy thinking about what happened and was wanting to lay down a minute.

"Heather will you help me to the couch?" I asked sweetly. She smiled and hopped down off the stool. We walked slowly to the couch as I almost threw myself on it. It felt so nice and comfortable in comparison to the hospital bed. I soon was talking about girlie stuff with Heather, when my eyes got heavy. I was soon asleep before I knew it.
