Chapter 21

Chapter 21: 

"Bobby? Bobby!" A girlie voice screaming my name. I heard heels come screeching to a stop next to me. I tried opening my eyes but one of them wouldn't open. I tried sitting up to see Heather in front of me. She had a worried look on her face. "Are you okay? Bobby can you speak?" She asked frantic. I nodded slowly as I felt like throwing up. "Who did this to you?" She asked. I shrugged as I felt a pain in my shoulder.

"Ken..." I breathed. She nodded and reached into her purse and dialed.

"Kendall? Come to the entry way! I don't care what Carlos is doing! Bobby needs help." She hung up and stared into my eye.

"What happened?" I whispered barely. She got down on her knees and touched my face as I gasped in pain.

"Who are you?!" I heard some girl scream. Heather moved and stood up she kicked off her stilettos and picked them up in her hand and stood in front of me. The ghost man was in the hallway and started bolting out the front door passing Heather me as I started screaming. Heather held up her stiletto as a weapon as the ghost man ran past her too fast to do anything. He looked one last time at me through the glass door and blew me a kiss through his costume. I started crying again. It hurt to keep crying, but it was all I could do.

Then Kendall came running into the entry way. "Heather, what happened?" He started yelling as random people stood around us, as a crowd gathered. He bent down as my arms automatically wrapped around his neck as I cried into his chest. Carlos appeared wearing normal clothing holding onto a bleeding girl.

"Kendall... We need to take them to the hospital..." He said. I realized, Alexa, Carlos's girlfriend was the other victim of the ghost man. Kendall pulled back and had a furious look in his eyes. His eyes were kind and full of sorrow.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm sorry I wasn't with you." He said quietly to me. He grabbed my hand and slowly helped me up with the help of Heather.

"Where's Bobby?!" I heard Scott yelling. "Where is she?!" He pushed threw the crowd as I felt faint and leaned on Kendall even more. I was so tired, but I was afraid if I closed my eyes now, that I'd wake up this wasn't a dream. But I couldn't help myself as I felt like my mind was slipping away.

I woke up to a beeping. I felt a restraint on my arm connected to something. I didn't want to open my eyes but then I started to panic as flashbacks came back to me. Then I heard a gasp, then some sobs. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around my hospital room. I was sharing it with someone. I could barely see anything so I couldn't tell who it was. "Hello?" I asked quietly, another gasp.

"Bobby? Is that you?" A familiar voice asked. Alexa.

"Alexa? Yeah it's me." I said. My vision in one eye was focusing as I saw her laying maybe ten feet away from me. She had a bandage around her blonde hair where the bleeding must've been coming from at the party.

"Who was he?" Alexa asked tears streaming down her face. I shrugged as my shoulder and arm ached. I saw I had a cast on my left arm and bruises on my right. Alexa also had bruises on her face and a broken left arm as I tried seeing any similarities of our injuries.

"Alexa, what injuries do you see on me?" I asked quietly. She studied my face, wiping tears with her right hand which was black and blue, and looked to be yellowing.

"You have a black eye that's really swollen and so is your bottom lip, a bandage over your head, uh, you have bruises all over your arms and your left arm is in a cast. What about me?" She asked worried.

"You have a bandage over your head too, you have a hand print bruising on your right cheek, bruises all over your showing body, and your cast." I said barely audible. She nodded. We sat in silence for awhile, until Alexa started hyperventilating. "What's wrong?!" I shouted. She looked at me crying.

"Flashbacks." She said through tears. A nurse bursted in a rush to see who was freaking out.
