Chapter 9 - 수고 (SU-GO)[Trouble]

15:50, 7 September 2017

After Jungkook changed into a large black hoodie and some dark blue demin jeans  we both headed outside and got to my motorcycle.

"Here you better put this on."I say, handing him my helmet."Unless you want your fans to mob toward you."

"Do you have a helmet for yourself noona?"he ask, putting it on and he started playing with the visor.

"Nope, but don't worry about it."I say, putting on my white gloves , tying up my hair, and hopping onto my seat.

Jungkook takes a seat behind me, lifting up his feet from the ground and placing them on the foot rest. He boldly wrapped his arms around my waist, though I didn't think I needed to say anything about it. He needed to hold onto something anyway.

"You good?"I hum, lifting up the kick stand with my heel.

"Yeah."

I rev up the enginel using the clutch and switch my ride to first gear. Speeding through the streets. I drove through the city without any incidents. Talking to Jungkook every now and then to make the ride less boring.

"You seem to know the city pretty well."he compliments while I told him about the buildings and streets."How long have you lived in Seoul?"

"I lived here with my uncle basically since I was born."I answer, waiting for the light to turn green."You?"

"I've lived here for about three or four years."he says, tightening his hold as I drove past a few streets."Do your parents live in a different city?"

'Dammit not this again.'

"I guess you can say that."I say, finally arriving at Hyochang Park.

I park my bike and turn off the engine, knocking down the kick stand. My thoughts raged with the conversation I had with Namjoon two days ago. I wasn't sad anymore. I knew I wouldn't cry anymore. I was just mad at myself now. I was mad at how I couldn't just get over everything. It happened such a long time ago.

'They're gone. Just forget about it alright.'

"Are you okay?"

I snap out of my trance and realize that I was still sitting in my seat, gripping the handle bars in a death grip. I let go and get up, untying my hair and running it through my fingers.

"Yeah sorry. I was just thinking."I reassure, opening up the seat to get my tassled back pack and took the helmet and placed it in there so Jungkook wouldn't need to carry it around.

We walked into the park, the slowly changing colors of the leaves fluttered as they blended with the soft wind. The little kids ran by, chasing each other without another care in the world. Parents were talking to each other, talking about how troublesome they were.

"You looked mad."Jungkook looked at me, a hint of worry showing on his sharp features."Did I do something wrong?"

"Nonononono."I gasp."You didn't do anything wrong. I just...It's complicated. I'll tell you later."

"'Later' can mean anything."he pouted, showing some aegyo without even trying."How 'bout now? Come on, I'm a curious Kookie."

"Fine..."I breathed."Just don't treat me differently okay."

"I promise."he smiled, wrapping an arm around my shoulder as we walked through the walkway.

"Okay...so, remember when you brought up my parents?"I saw him nod and I continued."They're...not really...well, alive."

"Oh...so I did say something wrong."he sighed."Sorry."

"No no, I just wasn't ready for it."I chuckle."I mean, I've been sad for so long and after talking about it with a friend I've gotten over my sadness. Now I'm just mad. They died in a car crash with my little brother and I was the only who made it alive, even though I wasn't even a year old. I didn't even know them..."

I was unknowingly getting closer and closer to him as we walked. But, I was the only one who noticed and ever so smoothly took his arm off my shoulders.

"Well, I'm gonna look at you differently now."he teases."You're stronger than I thought."

"At least you're not freaked out or anything."I sigh in relief."I've lost a lot of friends because I told them about this. But trust me, I'm still happy."

"I'm glad."

We walked for a bit, this time giving each other some personal space. Without noticing we've been talking until the sun went down. I watched as he tried skipping stones, only exceeding in a few attempts as I watched from the river back.

"It's already eight."I say, looking at my phone."Will the guys get worried?"

"Let them worry, I'm actually having fun."smirked Jungkook."Want to have dinner now?"

"Sure, there's a food court back at the entrance."I say."Wanna go there?"

Both of us decided to go there for some food. I didn't really need to eat right now since I was going to make dinner back home, so I waited for Jungkook at our table. I looked around, luckily there weren't any fangirls around, the last thing he would need would be a romance scandal. He sat across from me and started eating as I looked through my phone. He finished eating and looked at his own, his eyes widening once it turned on.

"Shit, I have so many missed calls."he swore."Ah Yoongi-hyung is gonna kill me for being out too late."

"Aw that's cute."I chuckle."I don't have a problem though. I live alone."

"Well...Yoongi-hyung asked me if I was with you."he says, showing me his phone.

I pursed my lips into a straight line and looked at my phone to see over ten messages from Yoongi.

"Well shit."I sigh."Now what? Are you going to get grounded or something?"

"No of course not! I'm an adult!"he boasted."I mean...I will get scolded but I won't get grounded...probably."

"It's not gonna be me who's getting in trouble."I smirk.

"Right after Yoongi scolds me he'll come ask you about his missed texts. He hates it when someone doesn't text back."he says, putting on a thinking expression."You haven't seen him angry yet."

Even though I was trying to show I didn't care a small shiver ran through my spine. Yoongi must be scary when he's angry and serious.

"Did you tell them that we'd be back at the dorm soon?"I ask.

He shook his head and looked back at his phone before putting it on the table and hiding his face to express his fear, he slid his phone to me for me to read.

I slid it back to him,"I'm not texting him."

"But he'll get mad!"says Jungkook, sliding his phone back at me.

"He's already pissed!"I argue, sliding it back to him.

"But you brought me here!"

"And it was your idea for us to hang out!"I 'tsk'ed.

The phone flew across the table to the other person and back as we spewed out excuses.

"You're my noona so please take care of me!"

"I don't own your phone!"

The phone stopped in the middle of the table and both of us stared at it.

"Okay, how about a deal."we both say in unison.

Jungkook and I look at each other, surprised by our synchronized speech.

"What do you have in mind?"he asks.

"Well, is Yoongi the type of person that cools down over time?"

"Yeah."

"Want to just stay over at my dorm tonight? I'll tell Yoongi that you and I are at the main building for a meeting with our managers."

"What if they see us?"he asks."I mean, it can work. And I get to stay in your dorm for a night."

He winks at his last statement and I just roll my eyes and poke his forehead."Wink at me again and I'll bring you back to YOUR dorm."

"Sorry sorry."he chuckles."I just like pissing them off. I'm surprised they aren't used to this by now. I guess they checked the practice room since if I go missing, I'm usually there. Yoongi is like my dad, when he gets mad he gets MAD."

I laugh and we both get to my motorcycle. I drive through the city and arrive back at the dorm. I look through the main entrance to see Jimin waiting for someone to come. He was looking straight ahead through the door, his eyes following the smallest sign of movement.

"Looks like we can't enter through there."Jungkook whispers."I think we can take the fire escape to your room."

'I didn't know we had a fire escape. I'm so stupid.'

I nod and he leads me to the side of the building where my dorm was located. I jump up and grab the metal ladder as it fell to the gravel with a crunch. I climb up first and helped Jungkook up. We climb up two flights of stairs to reach my room on the fourth floor. I peer inside to see my couch and jacket.

"I didn't unlock the window."I sigh."Hold up."

I open up my back pack and take out my bobby pins. I looked at the window frame, seeing two prongs on either side of the frame and the window. I placed one bobby pin on each side so it could be blocked. With that I slid the window open with ease. I hop inside, Jungkook following after me.

"You're so coo-"

"Sh! They might hear us."I whisper-scream."Now tell them that we're at the main building with our managers and we won't be back until morning."

He nods and I go to my room."I'll just be taking a shower."

I take my towel, a t-shirt, shorts, and underwear before walking into my bathroom. I made sure to lock the door.

'I'm not that risky.'

I turn on the shower and quickly changed into my pjs. I went into my room and looked through my closet to find a plain large white t-shirt and large basketball shorts I used to wear back at my old home.

'I think these would fit him.'

I head back to my living room to see Jungkook playing with my puppies, he seemed to be mumbling something. But I couldn't really hear much of anything.

"Hey Kookie-ah, there's a few clothes in the bathroom and if you need anything it's probably in the lower drawers."I say quietly, making sure my voice didn't pass through the thin walls.

"Thank you. I'll take a quick shower if that's alright."

"That's fine."

And that was it. To be honest it seemed a bit weird. He was so loud when in reality he was being pretty quiet. Maybe he understood that the people we were hiding from were right next door. I sigh and slam onto the couch, realizing how tired my legs were. My phone vibrated against the table, although the sound only drowned out as my eyes shut.
