,,you took a step forward.

just as you were going to take another you felt a hand grab you. you quickly turned around, it was kyung jun.

you tired to pull out of his grasp, what was he trying to do now of all times? you had to go find your phone or else you'd die.

"let go! please kyung jun!"you pleaded.

"stop fighting."kyung jun said gripping your wrist tighter.

he reached into one of his pockets and pulled out your phone.

"you had it?"you asked him.

"found it on the floor, hurry up and vote."kyung jun handed your phone to you.

"thank you..."you whispered.

you hurriedly took it out of his hands and went to the app. your hand froze, who would you vote for?

you just let your finger go down and vote, not even paying attention to who it was.

you let out a shaky sigh, you were safe for now. just as you looked up you say kyung jun throwing someone's phone.

judging by the shout and hyun ho running after it, it must've been his.

"why'd you do that?"you looked up at him.

kyung jun just gave you a look and turned around. he walked away going back to seung bin and jin ha.

"jang hyun ho will be executed for violating the rules."it announced.

you looked to where hyun ho and na hee were. she was crying out for hyun ho who was walking off somewhere.

you then heard a loud noise, you glanced up to see hyun ho hanging from the balcony.

"jang hyun ho was a civilian."the voice revealed.

then the room stopped flashing red and a blue light turned on.

then the alarm sounded.

"the voting has ended. by popular vote of 10 votes, baek eun ha will be executed. baek eun ha is a civilian."the mysterious voice announced.

you looked to eun ha, she was sat on the floor. she got up slowly and started crying out to people that she wasn't a mafia.

eun ha cried as she ran out the door. you looked at her with pity.

then the music played, you saw everyone start dropping. you too fell and everything went dark.

,,your eyes shot open at the sound of music.

you slowly got up and started looking around. you saw the dead bodies of your classmates all around.

yesterday night had been a bloodbath...you kept looking around, you saw yoon seo and jung won up. jun hee also awoke, that was good.

you also saw kyung jun awake as well, you let out a sigh of relief. your closest friends hadn't perished.

"joo young. hey lee joo young. something's wrong with joo young."mina started shaking joo young.

you noticed that joo young had a white cloth covering her face, had she fallen asleep like that? you highly doubted that possibility.

you saw yoon seo go over to joo young. yoon seo pulled off the cloth revealing joo young's extremely pale face. she was dead.

"lee joo young was executed by the mafia last night. lee joo young was a civilian."the voice revealed.

"before the previous voting ended, the doctor chose to use his healing ability on cha yoo jun."the voice continued on.

"morning has come. all participants please find the mafia and begin voting." the voice concluded.

"I think she was strangled with this."yoon seo pointed out.

at this point most people were crowded around joo young's body.

"I didn't want to hand in my phone! I said I didn't want to! we wouldn't have slept here if we hadn't collected the phones, and no one would've died."mina cried out gripping jun hee's collar.

"you killed them all, kim jun hee. take responsibility!"mina shook jun hee.

you could tell he felt guilty, the defeated look on his face said it all.

"that's enough."somi took mina's hand off.

"if hyun ho had voted sooner, he wouldn't have died either..."na hee shakily whispered.

"they're not wrong. we survived because we were lucky. how will you and go kyung jun take responsibility?"ji soo shouted out.

"did I fucking suggest we should collect them? kim jun hee, you son of a bitch! you said we only had to collect the phones! we all ended up like this because of you, take responsibility."kyung jun screamed pointing a finger in jun hee's direction.

you frowned, everyone was throwing the blame on jun hee when he didn't even know what would happen.

"I'm sorry."jun hee mumbled before walking out.

they all spoke like they hadn't caused any deaths.

,,everyone crowded in a circle.

in the middle was kyung jun.

"whatever, this happened because of the class president. let's just vote for him today."kyung jun suggested.

"you're the one who took all of our phones saying it was a good idea. why are you acting like you didn't? you were pretty relaxed last night. why did you secretly keep your phone? you're the most suspicious one here."jung won started to state facts.

"hey...isn't it obvious? how should I trust kim jun hee that bastard? he might be the mafia."kyung jun answered.

"hey! this is a game of life or death. why should i put my life in someone else's hands? I just used my brain. if I hadn't I could've died."kyung jun explained.

you bit the inside of your cheek. you understood kyung jun's point but did the person he want out have to be jun hee?

it wasn't jun hee's fault, and kyung jun also helped put the plan into action. you weren't saying you blamed either for causing this but he was equally guilty in others eyes.

also the fact he secretly had his phone, you hadn't noticed last night due to the chaos but that wasn't a good look for him.

"hey...that's enough please. do you really want to argue in this situation? how long will you argue over a game that kills people? don't you want to go home?"yoon seo stepped in.

"how can we go home? we can't escape."somi asked.

"if we can find out who created the mafia game and why, we can figure out how to get out of here. then we can all get out of here and no one else has to die. we can figure that out later, let's move them first."yoon seo explained what she meant.

she had a point, by finding who created the game you could possibly get them to stop. how you weren't exactly sure, maybe they were easy to convince or extreme measures could be used.

the only issue was how to start looking for them. you had no leads to go on.

"move what?"somi questioned.

"we can't leave them like this. we need to move them to a freezer."yoon seo spoke.

so she meant their bodies...it was probably better to get them out of the way but you personally didn't want to touch them.

you saw kyung jun start walking away, seung bin and jin ha following his lead.

"hey go kyung jun!"you heard yoon seo shout.

"let go you crazy bitch."he shook her hand off.

"don't leave. you guys help too."yoon seo said.

"you aren't going to help?"you looked him in the eye.

"everyone should help if we're doing this."jung won spoke sternly.

"are you slipping away again, y-you cheapskate?"woo ram stuttered out.

"what did you say?"kyung jun started walking towards da bum.

before he could do anything jung won and the others got in his way. kyung jun just turned away and walked out.

you all decided to do it without them. you covered your classmates bodies in white blankets and carried them to the cafeterias freezer.

you all stood there until people started leaving one by one. you decided to leave pretty early on since it was getting cold.

most people waited in the cafeteria seated. you walked past them. you'd just meet up with the others later.

,,you took a deep breath.

you had come to the roof top to take a breather. after everything that was happening you needed one.

you put your hands on the railing and let out head fall into them, repeatedly. why couldn't you think of anything. a way to get your friends out at the very least.

if you had to die for that you would. this time you felt your head slam into a hand, one that wasn't yours.

"what're you doing?"you heard a boys voice ask.

"...thinking."you whispered not looking up.

you knew who it was, how he knew where you were was a mystery. ever since you were young kyung jun always knew where you were.

you kept your head in his hand not bothering to move it. after a while he moved it for you, he pushed your head up and made you face his direction.

"your foreheads red."kyung jun pointed out.

"no shit..."you responded frowning.

kyung jun lifted up his hand and poked you right where it hurt.

"ouch! why'd you do that?"you pushed his hand away.

he looked amused at your suffering. you cracked a smile, it had been a while since you guys acted like this.

"you look crazy smiling and with a bruise on your forehead."kyung jun put his hands in his pockets.

"you ruin my fun."your face went completely straight.

"are you hungry?"he asked.

"now that you mention it, food will definitely help me think!"you responded.

"oh but only of seung bin and jin ha aren't there."you smiled.

"just kick them out or something."kyung jun said.

"you kick them out, I'm supposed to be the nice one...plus they listen to you."you whined.

he just shrugged at you and kept walking. you followed behind him still letting out protests. you missed when things were like this.

you'd really do anything to get him out.

,,you all were seated.

after a while you had found out that yoon seo had passed out in the freezer. she was fine and resting in the infirmary, you'd gone to visit her.

now though it was time to discuss whatever you all needed to discuss.

"let's come clean. speak up if you're the mafia."kyung jun was the first to speak.

"would you speak up if it were you?"jung won responded.

kyung jun let out a sigh in response.

"then let's do it again, who do you think is definitely the mafia?"kyung jun asked another question.

no one responded to it though. seung bin then slammed his hand into a desk which startled you and others.

"the police should at least speak up. the police! come clean!"seung bin shouted.

"I don't think the police will speak up either."da bum said.

"of course they won't."someone muttered.

"fuck, why won't anyone fucking cooperate?"kyung jun shouted out.

"hey class president. it's you isn't it? you didn't let us vote so all the civilians died. this was the mafias scheme to kill civilians, wasn't it?"he theorized.

"what are you saying? didn't you see the notice? civilians weren't the only ones who died, the mafia died too."somi debunked it.

"at least we can guess who the doctor is."eun chan muttered.

everyone turned to look at yoo joon.

"it's not me!"he denied.

"it's not me either."ji soo said.

"it is you two. who else would save cha yoo joon if not you two?"mina speculated.

"I don't know why they used it on me either, but it's really not me!"yoo joon kept insisting.

"hey kim somi. eun ha said you were the mafia yesterday. did you choose her because she exposed you?"mina suspected.

some people turned to look at somi.

"hey I...I had no choice but to choose her since she tried to vote for me! what about you? are you the mafia?"somi defended herself.

"w-what about me?"mina asked.

"joo young. you two had a big argument yesterday."somi accused mina.

"an argument is an argument! why would I kill her over that?"mina asked.

"you acted like a maid infront of joo young but cursed her behind her back saying she was annoying. maybe you wanted to kill her."somi started to explain her reasoning.

"t-that's not true!"mina protested.

"I guess lee joo young did keep bossing choi mina around."jin ha agreed.

"I said it's not true!"mina shouted.

"you talk too fucking much. come clean before you see blood."kyung jun spoke up.

"go kyung jun. why'd you do that then?"woo ram asked.

"do what you fucker?"kyung jun questioned him.

"why were you the only one who his your phone? you knew they would die if we didn't vote and you kept quiet so they would all die huh?"woo ram accused him.

"I told you...how could I trust that bastard?"kyung jun slowly got up and pointed at jun hee.

"why did you force us to trust him when you couldn't?"woo ram asked.

it was followed by a few moments of tense silence.

"you're the one who killed lee joo young you bastard. you think I didn't know?"kyung jun revealed.

"what?"woo ram muttered.

"you went shit online after you confessed your feelings to lee joo young and got rejected."kyung jun recalled what woo ram did.

"joo young and I were just joking-"woo ram was cut off.

"stop bullshitting you dumbass! you got on your knees and begged lee joo young to take it down. is there anyone here who doesn't know about that? hey choi mina! speak up, you recorded that."kyung jun explained the events.

you did recall something like that happening earlier in the semester.

"y-yeah."mina answered.

"how does that matter right now?"woo ram questioned.

"it fucking matters since you're the mafia you motherfucker! you trashed lee joo young behind her back by calling her a sly fox. you killed choi joo won first since it would be obvious if you killed lee joo young right away didn't you?"kyung jun responded.

"that's now true. h-how could I be the mafia? i-it's you!"woo ram kept accusing kyung jun.

"fuck you."kyung jun said holding up his phone.

at that moment you felt a buzz and heard everyone's phones ring.

"go kyung jun had voted for park woo ram."the voice announced.

"I'm not! don't do it!"woo ram protested.

"I can tell from his eyes, he's the mafia."kyung jun cupped woo rams face.

you saw somi go to break it it. you then got two more notifications, seung bin and jin ha had also voted for park woo ram.

"hey you sons of bitches!"woo ram shouted.

"hurry up and vote for this bastard too. hey choi mina! this bastards pretty pissed with you too. since lee joo young died it's your turn today."kyung jun held woo rams shirt.

he then tossed woo ram to the side. kyung jun walked out and the other two followed him. jun hee tried calling after him, though it was futile.

you contemplated going after him but would that make you look suspicious?

people started to walk out one by one. on second thought maybe it wouldn't be as suspicious now?

another ding came from everyone's phone.

"choi mina has voted for park woo ram."it announced.

after that you decided to walk out as well.

"hey (f.name)!"jun hee called out.

"sorry! I'm just going out to think, I'll be back soon."you clasped your hands together.

in all honesty you didn't need time to think, you already knew who you'd end up voting for.

you'd never vote for kyung jun that was for sure. so it'd be woo ram, kyung jun had brought up pretty good points actually.

woo ram had a motive for the kill, you'd heard of cases like that.

you kept receiving notifications from your phone, more votes some for woo ram until there was a mass amount for kyung jun.

you chewed on your finger nail, your own friends had voted for him...

you couldn't do much now about their votes though. it was now only you, ji soo and yoo joon who were left to vote.
