Chapter 12

YN was the first to wake up, she hadn't realized that she had fallen asleep at the venue but it looks as though JK brought her back to the hotel. Looking around she spotted Lola curled up with Tae and Jimin, right in the center of the bed. Laughing to herself she got up and went to the restroom. Looking at herself in the mirror it finally clicked that she wasn't in her own clothes. Shaking her head she knew JK must have undressed her and put her in sweatpants. She was surprised however that she slept through it. After exiting the bathroom she whispered to Lola to come and went to the hotel room door when a sleepy voice caught her attention.

"You need a key to get back in YN," Jimin said to her, sitting up in his bed. "Better yet, I need coffee, I'll go down with you." So he put on his hoodie and a mask. They made their way downstairs and out the back doors where YN had seen a spot of grass for dogs the previous day.

"Thanks for coming down here with me Jimin, I didn't want to wake anyone up." She said

"It's ok, I think this is a good chance to talk." He replied "I'm sorry for how I've been acting. I was just jealous, jealous that what you guys seem to have is serious but also because he's my best friend. I don't want to lose him."

"Oh Jimin, you would never lose him. He loves you guys so much, that's so easy to see. I'm just happy to be here and have fun with you guys. I care about him a lot and I want everyone to be happy."

"Jin was right," he said, "you're pretty amazing. I don't know of another girl who would be as forgiving."

"Jimin, we are all human. You have every right to feel that way. Promise me in the future, if there is one, that if anything comes up that you're worried about just come talk to me. I'm always here to listen, I'm here for you." She turned around and gave him a reassuring hug. He returned it by squeezing her and picking her up.

"Deal, but now I seriously need coffee." He said as they turned around to go inside. Just as they were going to walk in YN heard her name being shouted. She stopped dead in her tracks recognizing the voice. She looked at Jimin with a terrified look on her face. He turned to look behind her and saw the man who was walking towards them. He didn't have a camera and he had shouted YN's name not his. So this man must know her, then it sank in, God it was the Ex. He didn't have the energy for this BS right now. They were almost to the door, he slid his key card back into the slot and opened it. The hand he had on YN's wrist was abruptly removed as she was yanked out of his grasp. Jimin turned around just in time to see Lola insert herself between YN and the threat.

YN was trying to stay calm. She knew she was with Jimin so Mark couldn't do anything. The door was open and all she needed to do was get into and close the door. "Jimin, can you please take Lola before Mark gets hurt. We don't need a scene with this coward bleeding on the ground." She stood with her head held high, refusing to back down or lower her gaze from Mark's eyes.

"You stupid slut, first that guy JK and now this asshole?" Mark yelled at her.

She felt Jimin take Lola's leash from her hand behind her back. She motioned to him to go inside with the dog. Jimin understood what she was trying to do and brought Lola through the doorway and kept holding it open for YN.

"Go away Mark, no one wants you here." She said as she stepped back closer to the door.

"Oh so someone is trying to be brave today huh?" Mark smirked at her. He was going to make her pay for making him look and feel like a fool. He raised his hand towards her and watched her flinch, taking satisfaction in the way he could still make her cower. "Oh come on now, don't play the abuse card. I'm not going to hurt you." He said.

"No Mark, you're not going to hurt me. Goodbye." She said as she pushed him backward and moved through the door with Jimin slamming it behind her. "Let's go please," She told Jimin.

Jimin took her hand and turned back towards the stairs. YN didn't look back but Jimin did, he could see the cold fury in the man's eyes. He knew then and there that this man wasn't just a stupid brute, but someone who was cold and calculating. He knew exactly what he was doing to YN outside.

"Are you ok YN?" he asked

"Of course, I'm fine. Let's not tell JK about this little run-in with Mark. You guys need to be able to focus on your show tonight. If he knows he's going to get upset."

"I'll let you tell him after the show. You can't keep it from him indefinitely."

"Fine, now let's go get you your coffee." She smiled at him and they made their way to the coffee shop inside the hotel. After getting their coffee, she ordered coffee for JK and Jimin ordered tea for Tae. They went back upstairs to the room to see the other two guys finally awake.

"There you are, I was just about to come looking for you. You left your phone." JK said as he came and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Sorry handsome, but we come bearing coffee. Jimin was nice enough to escort me and even pay." She said winking at Jimin.

"God please tell me you didn't get me coffee Jimin. I hate coffee" Tae groaned

"Oh don't be such a cry baby Tae. Of course, I got you tea instead." Jimin replied rolling his eyes. "Anyways we should probably go to Joon's room so we can see what the plan is for the day."

"Right," JK agreed, taking YN's hand they went to the room down the hall and met up with the rest of the guys.

"Guys, it's just like any other show day. We need to run through everything one more time at the venue then it's off to hair and makeup. YN today we can't take you with us. We need to focus. I'll have one of the guards take you home. You can come over to the venue a couple of hours before the show starts and come back with your backstage pass." Namjoon stated before Jungkook even had the opportunity to argue.

"Joon..." JK started

"No, Jungkook. We need to focus with zero distractions. You'll see her tonight ok?"

"Fine" He responded and pulled YN closer to his body.

"YN, I'm going to have you leave first," Namjoon said

"Joon, can I talk to you for a minute in private?" Jimin asked.

"K, we will be right back." The two men moved out into the hallway. "What is it Jimin?"

"Can the security guard stay with YN all day until the show? Her Ex saw her with me outside when we went to take Lola out. He looks like a nasty piece of work. She refuses to tell JK about it right now because she wants him to focus on the show. I just want to make sure she's ok until tonight when we can have eyes on her again."

Namjoon thought about it, this was going to get complicated he knew it but for the good of everyone involved, he said "Yes, I'll send the guard with her from yesterday. He seemed to be ok with Lola and he's aware of YN's medical condition since I told him about it before he left with her."

"Ok, thanks Joon," Jimin replied as they went back into the room.

"On second thought YN, I'll let the guard hang out with you for the day."

"Um ok, I need to go shopping for a new outfit for tonight. Hopefully, he's ok with that"

"I'm sure it will be fine, he'll drive you today," Namjoon replied.

"Ok, sounds good to me then." She turns around in JK's arms and gives him a kiss. "I'll see you tonight ok?"

"Alright, and here," he says as he takes out his wallet, handing her a black card "Buy whatever you want, my treat." He gives her another kiss after she accepts the card.

"See you guys tonight!" She says brightly and waves as she walks out the door with the security guard.

Everyone waved goodbye and got ready to make their way to the venue. Jin turned around and looked at JK who was still looking at the door and just shook his head. That man was in love, he may not realize it yet, but boy is he whipped. Jin walked over to him and ruffled his hair, "Come on JK, let's get going." They all exited the room and went to the venue.

Meanwhile, YN and Lola went shopping. She looked up at the massive security guard and began asking him questions about himself. The drive had been too quiet and she refused to continue shopping with the awkward silence. She found out his name was Kai and he was also from South Korea. He traveled with the band to all of their tour locations. He had served in the military and had a wife with a daughter at home. He loved his job protecting BTS but he sometimes missed being home every day. He was relieved that the tour only had a few more stops before the guys had a break from performing.

"That's cool, how much longer are they on tour for?" She asked.

"They are on tour I would say probably for another six weeks or so," Kai responded.

"Oh, they are going to be really busy huh. When do they leave for the next tour location?"

"They leave Monday morning."

"Oh." She said quietly. YN felt like she had been punched in the gut. She knew Jungkook was going to have to leave eventually but she didn't realize how soon that really was. She wanted to spend as much time with him as possible before he left. She shook off the sadness and focused on the now. She would deal with that when the time came.

As they continued shopping YN found an amazing outfit to wear. She was by no means a girlie girl and she knew she would hate wearing a dress for the majority of the night. So she went with some sleek black faux leather pants, a black silk camisole, a leather jacket, black double buckled ankle boots with a heel, and a long silver necklace with an amethyst pendant. She felt a little bad that she was using JK's money but he did tell her to buy whatever she wanted. She didn't overspend by any means but she definitely wanted to look nice for him tonight. Which got her thinking about getting a nice lingerie set to go under her outfit. With that in mind, she made her way to the lingerie store, pausing when she looked up at Kai.

"Do you want to wait out here while I go inside?" She asked, she didn't want to make him feel awkward or anything. "I've got Lola, if anything happens she will go get help."

"I'll wait right outside. Just yell if you need anything."

YN went inside and found the sexiest black bustier set they had. She made her purchases and walked back out to where Kai was standing. "Do you mind if we go to a salon so I can get my hair and make-up done? Do we have time for that do you think."

Kai looked at his watch and indeed they had time. "Yes, let's go."

The rest of the afternoon went off without a hitch. Once everything was done, she did ask Kai for one more favor. "Kai, everyone is going to hate this but I can't bring Lola with me to the concert. It's going to be too loud and confusing for her. She won't be able to do her job anyway. I need to drop her off at home first."

"We can do that," Kai responded. He knew that was going to make tonight harder. He already made up his mind to stay with her regardless. He had spent the whole day with her and he realized that she had a way of making everyone around her feel at ease and happy. She genuinely cared about those around her, and she deserved to be protected at all costs. Especially when he caught sight of the bruise on her arm while she was changing out of a jacket. Namjoon had told him to be on the lookout for an Ex after her and Jimin had a run-in with him earlier this morning. So, he would stay close for the duration of the concert.

They reached her house and dropped Lola off. He waited outside while she changed into her outfit for the night. When she came out he masked his surprise. She definitely looked great and it was going to be hilarious when she walked into the room with all the guys. He was going to make sure he had his phone out and recording.

It was only an hour before the show started and JK was getting restless. He hadn't heard from YN all day and he was getting worried. He had texted Kai a couple of times to get updates and his only response was that YN was doing fine and shopping her heart out. JK was glad she was having fun but he really wanted her in his arms right now. Just then the door opened and his jaw dropped in shock. Dressed in head to toe black, YN entered the room. JK took in every detail of her look, her eyes were done in smoky shadow with winged liner and her full lips were painted red. The leather jacket over the black silk cami exposed just enough of her chest that any man would drool. The tight pants and chunky black heeled boots made her legs look like they went on for miles.

"Earth to Kookie," She said, "Are you there handsome?" she smiled at the fact that his actual jaw dropped when she walked into the room. It was so satisfying to know that he liked the way she looked. She walked over to him and with the heels on she was almost his height, she put her arms around his shoulders and brought his lips to hers. "Mmmm, are you almost done getting ready?"

"Yeah, make-up is done wardrobe is done, and they'll put the last touches on everything right before we go on stage." He replied. All he could think about at that moment, however, was how much he wanted her. He looked her up and down again, he couldn't help it, and his hands made their way under the jacket and camisole to feel her skin. He felt the goosebumps break out across her skin at his cold hands and he leaned down for another kiss.

Then there was another knock on the door. "JK I know she's in there with you don't you dare do what I know you're thinking about. They'll kill you for messing up your hair!" Jimin said from the other side of the door. "You two better be decent, I'm coming in." He walks into the room with his hand over his eyes just in case, when he peeks and sees everyone fully clothed he looked at the couple across from him. He let out a whistle at how perfect they looked together. Both in head-to-toe black with leather and silver chained accents. "Damn have you seen how you guys look together?"

JK and YN looked at each other and looked in the mirror. "We do fit pretty well together, don't we babe?" she said.

"Damn right we do." He smiled. "Let me go show you off to the guys, they are going to be jealous."

They walked over to the other room where everyone was gathered and as promised, Kai had his phone up and ready to record everyone's reactions. Five jaws dropped, and Taehyung even did a double-take. J-Hope walked over to YN and embraced her, "You look amazing." He said.

"Thanks, Hobi." She replied.

The rest of the guys showered her with compliments but the most surprising one was from Namjoon. He was tough on the outside but he really did care she realized. More people came bustling into the room to finish the last touches and YN gave JK one last kiss before going with Kai to her designated spot in the section closest to the stage. There were so many people yelling and screaming, the atmosphere was charged with positive energy. So she settled in to enjoy the show.
