The Unexpected Idea

Zelo's POV

Today is the 30th day since Claire and I lived in the same roof together. We agreed to live here for 100 days so the "arrange marriage" that our dads planned will be cancelled.My dad and her dad are bestfriends before. At first, we had a hard time seeing and living together under the same roof.

Claire meet me in the restaurant where she works before. She accidentaly spilled the potato soup on me and it made me mad at her. We are like cat and dog whenever something happened. But time by time we two became good friends.

As I get up from the couch Youngjae Hyung suddenly appeared infront of me.

"Happy Anniversary!" Youngjae happily greeted

"Anniversary?" I raised my brows

" yah! you forget it too, today is the day when we debut as the Best.Absolute.Perfect, don't you remember?" he pouted

"oh! I'm so sorry hyung. I forgot"

"hmmm. it's alright! yah! we need to get the Yongguk hyung and the others here. We will have a meeting" he said loudly

"meeting? for what?" I asked

"just call them pali!"

"Okay, okay hyung"

I quickly called my hyungs and told them to gather here in the practice room where Youngjae hyung and I waiting for them to arrive. Finally the rest of the group had already arrived. We gather up then find our places inside the room. Youngjae stood up infront of us confidently.

"so guys! since today is our Anniversary we should celebrate!" Youngjae said

"celebrate eh? did our manager know?" Yongguk asked

"of course! and he let us to decide how will we celebrate our Anniversary together" Youngjae answered

"so what are we going to do?" Daehyun suddenly asked

"hmmm. let me see.." Youngjae smoothed his chin

"throw a party?"  he said

"nah! that so common!" Himchan replied

"let's go to the bar!" Jongup suggests

Himchan and Yongguk look at him and give him a wide grin saying that its a good idea.

"yah! that's invalid!" Youngjae interrupted

"ahhhh!!!! but wae?!" the three of them pouted

"because I'm still a minor!" I chuckled

"think of something else, where we can relax!" Youngjae crossed his arms

"a vacation!?" Daehyun suggests

"vacation?...yah! that right! let's have a vacation!" Youngjae clapped his hands

"vacation? where?" Himchan asked

"bar!" someone said

"yah! Jongup no!"

"joking!"

"resort!" I said loudly

"ne, let's go to a resort!"

"thats a really nice idea Zelo-ssi" Daehyun said then patted my back

"when?" Himchan asked

"tomorrow! since it's Friday!" Jongup answered

"ne, that's a very good idea! Youngjae said

"Yongguk! tell to manager okay? so they can arrange everything!"  Youngjae said

" ne, arraso!" he replied

When the meeting ended, I remember Claire. She will be alone on weekends if we will have a vacation.

"hmmmmm...... if she could only come..." I thought

Claire's POV

We don't have a class this afternoon so Ada and I decided to go somewhere where we can have some fun, since exam is finished. Today I'm wearing my typical black jeans, converse shoes, a shirt and a comfy plaid red polo. The wind is getting colder since fall had taken it's place this year. I can count the remaining leaves sticking on it's branches. Tomorrow is the end for the Month of October and I'm happy about it because it's been a month since I moved into a new place with Junhong. And we've been doing great. We got more closer, well not that close. I learn a lot of things from Junhong like basic steps on dancing and rapping. Junhong is my idol when it comes to rapping. He's really good at it. The way he pronounced the words are so clear. He's also good in cooking now. I thougth him how to cook a chicken tereyaki, kimpab, soup and other dish.

"Claire! it's cold! let's have some coffee!" Ada said hiding her hands on the pocket of her maroon jacket

"sure, let's find a coffee shop" I replied

When Ada and I already had our coffee we sat on a bench at the park. While sipping my coffee Ada unexpectedly swing her hand to my back. I almost burst out the coffee from my mouth.

"A-Ada! why did you do that?" I aksed

Ada didn't response instead she pointed her finger infront of me. I raised my head to see what is Ada pointing at, suddenly I just realized that a tall man is standing infront of me. As I looked at him he removed his aviators then smiled at me. It's Daehyun oppa!

"D-Daehyun oppa! what are you doing here?" I curiously asked

"I followed you!" he answered

"you know each other?" Ada suddenly asked with her curious face

"w-wha... it's u-uuhhm...n..."

"yes, I know her!" Daehyun said

"Claire?" Ada faced me

"look, Ada it's uhm....."

"does she know?" Daehyun asked

I shake my head and made a worried face.

"ahhh... I'm sorry Claire..I thought she knew about this!" Daehyun apologize

"about what?" Ada raised her  left brow

"ahhh.... this is kinda complicated Ada..."

"don't tell me that youre a trainee!" she stated

"t-trainee? of course I'm not!" I defend

"then?"

I told everything to Ada and I feel so guilty for not telling her about my situation. As I expected Ada will be mad at me.

"Claire! I'm your bestfriend! don't you trust me?"

" it's not that I don't trust you, it's just.....uhhh! look I'm really sorry about this, please forgive me" I pleaded

Ada turned her back to me then crossed her arms.

" Ada, please forgive Claire" Daehyun said gently

" Ada! I promised, I will tell you everything next time"

"Am I your bestfriend?" she suddenly asked still facing her back at me

" of course your are!" I quickly answered

"do you trust me?"

" yes!"

Ada turned to face me. I smiled then quickly grabbed her and hug her tightly around my arms. She hugged me back and that's a good sign because it means she already forgive me.

"anyways! Daehyun thanks for your mistake!, because of that I know my bestfriend's secret now" Ada smiled at him

" youre welcome?" Daehyun chuckled scratching the back of his head

"by the way Daehyun oppa, why did you followed me?... I mean us?" I asked

" oh, uhm... Youngjae asked me to get some coffee for us. When I'm about to go out, I saw you heading to the park so I followed you." he said

"thats all?" Ada  said

" actually, I have to tell you something" Daehyun oppa said to me

" what is it?"

"uhm, we will have a little get together tomorrow..... uhm I wonder if....ah! Youngjae and I wondered if you can come?" Daehyun asked

"tomorrow? with you? uhmmm.. don't you think that I'm kinda....uhm you know it's your little get together with the other members and you want me to..."

"it's alright. Besides we want to know you more. Youre no stranger for us anymore, please Claire"

"uhm.."

"Ada can come if you want!" He pointed at Ada

"really? Is that alright" I asked

"of course! the more the merrier, right?"

Ada and I can't believe what did just Daehyun oppa said. He want us to come with their get together tomorrow. And I'm pretty sure that it was going to be fun. I wanted to reject his offer but I just can't.

"okay I'm we're in" I happily stated

Daehyun face brighten up on what I said.

"jinja?!" 

Zelo's POV

I can't stop thinking about our get together tomorrow.If I'm away Claire will be alone in the house on weekends.

"hmmmm.. if she could only come" I thought again

Maybe she could come. I quickly get up from the sofa then find Youngjae hyung. I found him in the dorm, he's laying on his bed. Wearing earphones and a book covering his face.

"hyuuuunnnggg!" I yelled

"yah! Zelo-ssi! don't do that! what do you want?!" he get up from the bed removing the book from his face

" can I ask something?"

"what is it?" he removed his earphones

"uhm... since were going somewhere tomorrow,uhm... You know if I'm not at home tomorrow...uuuhhh" I groaned

"Zelo! what do you want to say?!"

"can Claire come with us?" I asked

Youngjae didn't respond back immediately.

"of course she can"

"omo! really?"

"of course! actually youre not the first person who asked if Claire can come" Youngjae muttered as he scan his book

"really? who?" I curiously asked

"Daehyun" he answered

"Daehyun hyung? why would he even want to invite her?" I wondered

"I also don't know. I hoped Claire would come!" Youngjae said happily

"of course she will, I will ask her tonight!" I excitedly said

When I leaved at building, our car passed by on a coffee shop. I decided to buy some coffee for me and also for Claire.

I can't wait to asked her later. I hope she will say yes. But then it kinda bothers me when Youngjae hyung said that Daehyun hyung also asked if Claire could come. Maybe he just want thank Claire for what she did for him about the chasing incident in the mall before. That's it! maybe Daehyun hyung just wanted to thank Claire by inviting her to our get together.

When I finally arrived the house I found Claire in the kitchen, preparing for our dinner.

"I'm home!" I said while putting the coffee on the table

"oh hi there!" she greeted while reaching something on the cabinet

I saw that she cannot reach the thing she want in the cabinet so I walked towards her closely.

"what do you need?" I smiled at her

"a-ahh...I need the salt" she answered

" here you go" I said as I hand her the little container

"thanks"

I sat on the chair and think on how to asked her about the get together for tomorrow.

"Junhong, I want to....."

"Claire, can I ask you..."

"oh! you go first!"Claire said as she paused

"ahh. no! you go first!" I replied

"oohh... okay! actually ahhmmm....I saw Daehyun oppa earlier and he asked to come with your little get together tomorrow with Ada" she simply said

"r-really? Daehyun hyung asked you?" I asked feeling kinda surprised

"yup, and I already said yes. is that okay with you?"

"y-yes of course" I managed to answered

"really? are we not a distraction for your get together?"

"of course not. Besides remember when Youngguk hyung said that you should hang out with us?"

"ah ne, thanks Junhong" she smiled

I can't believe that Daehyun hyung already asked her.

"by the way, what are you going to ask?" she muttered as she faced me

"ahhh.... m-me? I'm just goig to ask if....if what's for dinner"

"oh! ah yes! were having crab soup and fried chicken"

"wow! I bet that's so delicious!"

"of course! it is!"

When we finished to have our dinner. Claire and I individually pack our things for tomorrow. I can see that Claire is really excited. I'm excited too because this is the first time I will be Claire on a weekend vacation. I bet this is going to be super fun.  But then I am supposed to be the one who invited Claire not Daehyun hyung. I'm kinda pissed off on what Daehyun hyung did.

"whatever! forget it Junhong! the important thing is Claire is coming tomorrow!" I thought

The surrounding is kinda blurry as I open my wide eyes. I rub them to see my surrounding more clearer. Suddenly I remember something that made my my soul wake. Yes! Today is the day. I quickly hopped up from my bed and fix myself. As I choose my get up my phone ring. oh! it's Youngjae hyung!

"Annyeong!" I happily greeted

"ahh...Zelo! Goodmorning!"

"you call! are you going to pick us now?" I excitedly asked

"ahh...uhmm about our vacation..uhmmm there's a..."

"what is it?" I asked

"We are not having our vacation Zelo, it's postponed" he muttered

"w-hhhaaaaatttt?! why!"

"the place where we supposed to go is not available, I'm so sorry about this. Can you just tell this to Claire?"

"okay" I managed to utter

" don't worry manager is still finding for a place where we can go" he said

"oh is that so?"

"yep, so be so sad huh? okay gotta go! bye"

"okay hyung, bye"

As I end the call I heard a knock on my door. I walk towards the door and opened it. I saw Claire standing infront of me now, smiling. She seems so excited and her smile never fails to brighten up her face. I don't want to make that beautiful smile disappear on her face by telling her that our weekend vacation is postponed.

"Goodmorning Junhong!" she happily greeted

"Goodmorning Claire!" I replied then forced to strech my lips

"I want to tell you something" she muttered

"hmm.. what is it?"

"Ada can't come with us, she needs to go with her mom in their province"

"oh, uhm it's alright" I replied thinking that it was a good coincidence

"so what time are they going to pick us?" she asked

"uuuuhhhh.....Claire I have something to tell you" I muttered thinking if should I continue this

"hmmm....what is it?"

"we can't have our get together" I bravely said

"are you saying that...."

"yes, it's postponed"

"I'm so sorry about this Claire." I added then shook my head

Claire didn't say anything, instead she just grab my hands.

"it's alright Junhong. And don't apologize, it's not your fault" she muttered as she smiled brightly

I smiled back, hearing my heart beat as I felt the warmth from Claire's hands.

"oh! I'm sorry" she released my hands

"hmmm... your hands are so warm" I smiled at her

"ah, yes! mom used to say that whenever she holds my hands, even dad and Ada" Claire replied

"I think I need those hands of yours when winter finally comes" I chuckled

Claire's face flushed into red. And it's kinda cute.

"yah! how about you? don't you have warm hands?" she asked

"mine are cold ones" I answered

"use gloves then" she said

"I don't need those, I need your hands" I joked knowing that her face will turn red again

As I expected her face turned reddish again. I smirk and chuckle as I watch her pretty face turned into a tomato.

"I'm just joking Claire" I rubbed her head

"I know" she pouted then smoothed her hair

"by the way,why did the vacation postponed?" Claire asked

"ahh..the place where we are supposed to go is not available" I answered

"is that so?"

"ah! we're so unlucky! now what are going to do now!" I pouted

"since we're not going out for vacation, why don't we just celebrate here in the house?" She stated

"mwo?"

" yeah! thats right let's just celebrate it here! we're having a bbq party!"

"BBQ party?"

"ne, since the plan got postponed why don't we just have a simple dinner, don't worry I will be the one who will cook! wait a minute! Yongguk oppa and the rest haven't been here in the house right?"

"hmm. yes"

"invite them!since this is the best we can do for your anniversary party"

" you mean, we are going to celebrate here in our house?" I asked

"yes! dont you want my idea?"

"uhmm...Claire, I think it's kinda...."

"oh! I'm sorry, I'm just suggesting. Forget it" she shooked her head

"Claire, that's.......that's a brilliant idea!" I shouted
