i found myself waking up and questioning when i fell asleep, i looked at eleanor and she was still sleeping. i decided to go on my phone and watch tiktok.

it had been about twenty minutes until she started to wake up.

"morning," i smiled.

she sat up.

"i'm sorry i just fell asleep on you again-" she said, clearly embarrassed as she hid her face with her hands.

i tilted my head, confused. why was she embarrassed?

"listen." i told her as i removed her hands from her face. i pushed her chin so she looked at me and i told her. "el, i don't mind if you fall asleep on me, honestly. you don't need to apologise."

with my other hand, i tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled about how nervous she was. we made long eye contact and i looked at her lips. my heartbeat started to quicken. i pulled her chin towards me as we started to lean in...

"hey guys!" antònio exclaimed loudly at the worst timing possible as he walked into the room.

i groaned and hid my face into a pillow out of frustration. could i not get one moment alone with this girl?

el was also embarrassed and she hid her face in my chest which i thought was very cute.

"we bought pizza for lunch," rosia added until she saw what was happening. "OHH i think we should go.. babe.." she said in realisation as she slowly closed the door and went downstairs with antònio.

"are they gone?" el asked, still hiding on my chest.

"yes" i replied awkwardly as she got up.

the atmosphere was now something i wanted to escape.

"let's just go downstairs." i suggested as i got up and she followed me.

eleanor's pov:

once again, we had been interrupted. and i knew that rosia was going to tease the hell out of me. we walked into the living room where they were sat down, quiet with the tv off.

i didn't have an appetite right now so i just sat in between rosia and joão.

she looked at me straight away, "okay, the first thing I see is you and my brother almost kissing, i can't pretend that i'm not disgusted that you would kiss my BROTHER but i'm sorry for interrupting it."

i waved her off, "don't worry about it, it can happen when the time is right.."

we were both whispering so the boys wouldn't hear us.

the atmosphere was dead awkward, nobody was eating the food until antònio picked up a slice. then rosia did.

"el, eat the food," joão whispered into my ear.

"i'm not hungry." i told him quietly.

he chuckled and whispered again, "if you don't pick up a slice and eat it in the next five seconds i will make your legs weak for days."

i immediately got the hint and started eating the pizza, my face turned red. my eyes widened as i could not believe that he had just said that.

"that's what i thought," he smirked before grabbing a slice and talking to antònio.

"girl your whole face is RED! what the hell did he say to you??" rosia whisper-shouted.

i blushed and told her, "he said he was gonna make my legs weak for days if I didn't eat.."

she almost choked on her food. i patted her back to make sure she was alright, (luckily she was)

antònio turned on the tv and he put a movie, thank god it wasn't a scary one this time.

i wanted to take another nap so i went closer to joão and fell asleep on his chest. he put his arms around me, pushing me even closer against him.

i suddenly woke up, i was on top of joão who was also asleep. i looked around and antònio and rosia were gone. it was just us cuddling on the sofa. i blushed as i realised how close our faces were. i took my phone out and took a picture of how cute he looked. it was 6 pm and i had to get home soon but i really wanted to stay here with him.

i couldn't get up since joão's hand was around my waist, restricting me from moving.

i tried to get out of his grasp but it wasn't working until he woke up.

"stop." he groaned in a tired voice as he grabbed my hands and put them back down. "please stay."

i sighed "fine." and relaxed, giving up on escaping.

he slept for about another hour while i scrolled on tiktok. my fyp was mostly edits of him. (which i obviously liked and favourited)

"joão i need to go home, it's late." i whispered

"no, don't, please stay the night."

i smiled and replied. "i'll ask my mum if i can," i picked my phone up again and texted my mother, asking if i can stay the night. 5 mins after she said yes.

"she said yes," i told him

"yay," he smiled. "let's go to my room then."

he got up slowly and i followed him to his room, i wondered where rosia went with my brother. i noticed that her room was closed.

"uh what clothes should i wear??" i asked awkwardly.

"i think rosia's sleeping so you can borrow my clothes," he said as he picked out a jumper from his drawer and threw it to me. i caught it and changed in his bathroom, while also taking off my makeup.

when i got out he was lying down on his bed and he motioned for me to join him. i got into bed with him and snuggled up close against his body. his embrace made me feel warm and comfortable.

i guess he was very tired as he fell asleep instantly with his arms around my waist. i napped a lot today so i wasn't tired. instead i scrolled on tiktok for about two hours before getting tired and putting my phone away.
