17:53, 5 April 2025You sat on the edge of the bed, watching as Jungkook adjusted the blankets and fluffed the pillows, making sure everything was perfect. With only three weeks left until the baby arrived, he had become extra attentive—always fussing over little details, making sure you were comfortable, and preparing everything for the baby's arrival.
"You know, I could help," you teased, stretching your legs out in front of you.
Jungkook shot you a look before shaking his head. "Nope. You're on strict 'sit back and relax' duty."
You rolled your eyes but smiled, secretly enjoying how much he was taking care of you. "You're making the bed like we're about to have guests over."
He shrugged, smoothing out the covers. "I just want everything to be perfect for when the baby's here."
You felt a soft warmth in your chest at his words. He was going to be such a good dad.
Jungkook leaned against the wall after finishing with the bed, arms crossed, watching you with amusement as you tried to put on your shoes. Your baby bump had grown enough that bending down was no longer an easy task, and after a few failed attempts, you let out a frustrated sigh.
"Need help?" he asked, already moving towards you before you could answer.
You huffed, pretending to be stubborn. "I can do it."
Jungkook squatted down in front of you with a smirk. "Yeah? 'Cause it looks like you're about to fight your own feet."
Rolling your eyes, you let him take over, lifting one of your feet gently as he slid the shoe on, then doing the same with the other. His touch was careful, almost delicate, as if he was afraid of hurting you.
"There," he said, looking up at you with a proud grin. "Easy."
You pouted. "I could've done it myself."
Jungkook chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to your knee before standing up. "Sure, sure. But why struggle when you've got me?"
You sighed dramatically. "Fine, I'll allow it."
He smirked, wrapping an arm around your waist to steady you. "You'll have to allow it every day now. You're stuck with me."
You roll your eyes, but your lips twitch into a smile as you mumble, "Thanks."
Jungkook grins, pressing a kiss to your knee before standing up. "Anything for my grumpy baby mama."
Jungkook steadies you as you stand, his hands lingering on your waist for a moment, making sure you're balanced. You smooth down your dress, the soft fabric flowing around your bump as you adjust it into place.
He tilts his head, eyes scanning over you with a small, appreciative smile. "You look pretty," he murmurs, reaching out to fix a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
You roll your eyes playfully, but a tiny smile tugs at your lips. "I look like a walking watermelon."
Jungkook scoffs, shaking his head. "Nah, more like the prettiest flower in the garden." His voice is warm, teasing but sweet, and he seals his compliment with a quick peck on your forehead.
You let out a soft laugh, feeling a little less grumpy. "Smooth, Jeon."
"Always," he grins, taking your hand. "Now, let's get going before you change your mind and crawl back into bed."
Stepping outside, the heat immediately wraps around you like a thick blanket, making you groan. Being in the middle of Seoul during this time of year was no joke—the sun was relentless, and with your baby bump adding extra warmth, you felt like you were melting.
Jungkook glances at you, already noticing the way you're fanning yourself with your free hand. "You okay?" he asks, squeezing your fingers gently.
"It's so hot," you complain, dramatically tilting your head back. "I feel like I'm being slow-roasted."
He chuckles, but before he can tease you, a soft breeze sweeps through the street, giving just enough relief to make the heat bearable. You sigh in contentment, closing your eyes for a second to enjoy the moment.
Jungkook watches you with a fond smile. "See? The world isn't completely against you."
You side-eye him. "Debatable."
Laughing, he lets go of your hand to drape an arm around your shoulders, pulling you in closer. "C'mon, let's get you something cold before you start a war with the sun."
Your doctor had suggested walking more often, claiming that light exercise would improve circulation and help reduce swelling in your legs. Something about keeping your muscles active to ease labor later on. But when he first said it, you had scrunched up your face, unimpressed.
"Walking?" you had repeated, staring at him like he was insane. "That's your big medical advice?"
Jungkook had laughed at your reaction, but now, here you were, strolling through the main streets of Seoul, the heat making you regret everything.
"I still think this is stupid," you mutter, tugging at your dress as a bead of sweat trails down your back.
Jungkook smirks, adjusting his grip on your hand. "But it's for the baby," he teases, mimicking your doctor's voice.
You glare at him. "I don't see you carrying a whole human in this heat."
He grins, leaning down to press a quick kiss to your temple. "If I could, I would. But since I can't, I'll just carry your bags and be your personal fan."
You narrow your eyes but sigh. "Fine. But you are getting me something cold."
"Already planned on it, babe."
Seoul's streets are always alive, buzzing with energy no matter the time of day. As you and Jungkook stroll along the main road, you take in the city's unique blend of modern and traditional elements. Towering glass skyscrapers reflect the bright sunlight, standing tall beside smaller, more historic buildings with wooden facades and tiled roofs.
The sidewalks are packed with people—businessmen in crisp suits rushing between meetings, university students laughing with iced drinks in hand, couples walking hand-in-hand just like you and Jungkook. The smell of street food drifts through the air, a mix of tteokbokki's spicy kick, hotteok's sweet cinnamon scent, and the smoky aroma of freshly grilled meat from small food stalls lining the street.
Neon signs flash in every direction, advertising everything from cafés and clothing stores to karaoke rooms and skincare shops. A faint melody plays from a nearby convenience store, blending with the sounds of cars honking, people chatting, and distant subway announcements.
As you step inside the ice cream store, a wave of cool air hits you instantly, and you can't help but let out a relieved sigh. The temperature drops immediately, and the sweet, comforting aroma of freshly made waffle cones fills the space. You take a deep breath, feeling like you could stay here forever.
Jungkook holds the door open for you before following you inside, his eyes scanning the selection of ice cream flavors. The shop is small but charming, with pastel-colored walls and handwritten chalkboards showcasing a mix of classic and unique flavors—green tea, honeycomb, black sesame, and even something called "mango tango."
The lady behind the counter greets Jungkook with a bright smile, her cheerful voice welcoming him. "What can I get for you today?"
Jungkook flashes his signature grin, leaning on the counter casually. "Two scoops of your best ice cream, please. And make one of them something fruity."
The lady nods, still smiling. "Coming right up! The mango and peach combo is popular today."
You move closer to the counter, feeling your mouth water just at the thought of something cold and refreshing. Jungkook glances at you, raising an eyebrow. "What about you? What flavor are you getting?"
You shrug, still unsure. "Maybe something with chocolate. I can't resist it."
He chuckles. "You and your chocolate cravings."
As the lady prepares your ice cream, you and Jungkook exchange a glance, both of you already knowing that this simple treat is exactly what you needed to cool off and recharge.
Jungkook hands the lady a few bills and grabs the two ice cream cones, his fingers brushing against yours as he passes you yours. The cool, creamy sweetness of the ice cream hits your tongue, and you let out a satisfied sigh. The refreshing burst of fruity flavor is perfect against the heat, and for a moment, you forget about the sun beating down on you.
But then, you glance over at Jungkook's cone—he chose a rich, mango ice cream and it was topped with swirls of peach. The glossy sheen of it just looks amazing, and before you can stop yourself, your eyes linger on it for a little too long.
Jungkook catches the glance, the knowing look in his eyes unmistakable. He smirks, his voice light and teasing. "You want a bite, don't you?"
You roll your eyes, trying to act nonchalant, but your mouth waters just thinking about how good it probably tastes. "Maybe..."
With a grin that says he's always prepared for this, Jungkook holds out his ice cream toward you, a silent offer. You don't even try to resist.
You take the cone, your eyes flicking up to meet his. "I'm doing this because I'm being a good partner," you say, your voice teasing.
"Uh-huh," he replies, laughing softly. "Good partner who's about to steal my ice cream."
You take a bite, and the rich, decadent mango instantly melts in your mouth. "Okay, I definitely need to have this next time," you admit.
Jungkook just smiles, a hint of victory in his expression as you hand it back to him. "I knew it."
Jungkook, always thoughtful despite his teasing, hands you his ice cream with a casual shrug. "You can have the whole thing," he says, as if it's no big deal. "I need to watch my weight anyway," he adds with a smirk, even though you know he's been hitting the gym more than usual.
You raise an eyebrow at him. "I'm not going to eat the whole thing." But, as you glance down at the creamy, indulgent cone, your fingers curl around it, unable to resist the temptation.
Jungkook smiles, his hand finding its way to your waist, pulling you gently against him as you walk down the street. His touch feels warm against your skin, and you can't help but lean into him, enjoying the closeness.
"Eat as much as you want," he murmurs, his thumb brushing lightly over your side. "If you're happy, I'm happy."
You look up at him, feeling the warmth of his words more than the heat of the sun. "You're sweet," you tease, though you can't help but smile at his care for you.
He chuckles softly. "Just enjoying seeing you happy." His smile softens as he glances down at you, his hand gently guiding you as the two of you continue to walk, the sounds of the city all around.
You suddenly stop in front of a baby store, your eyes wide as you take in the displays in the window. Cute onesies, colorful toys, tiny shoes, and baby accessories all lined up, each more adorable than the last. A feeling of excitement bubbles up inside you, and before you can think twice, you grab Jungkook's hand and pull him inside.
The cool air of the store hits you as you step inside, and you're immediately surrounded by all the little treasures meant for babies. There are rows of soft, pastel-colored clothing, baby blankets, stuffed animals, and little shoes that look like they could fit in the palm of your hand.
You can't help but let out a soft gasp, walking slowly through the aisles and running your fingers over the tiny clothes, feeling the soft fabrics. "Look at all this stuff, Jungkook!" You point to a row of onesies with cute animal prints. "These are so tiny and so cute. I can't believe our baby will fit in something like this soon!"
Jungkook follows you, a soft smile on his face as he watches you. "It's pretty wild, huh? We're going to have a little one wearing these."
You pick up a tiny pair of socks with little bear ears on them and giggle, holding them up to him. "These would look so cute on our baby, right?"
Jungkook's expression softens, and he takes a moment to really look at the socks in your hand. "Yeah, they would." He reaches out and runs his fingers over the fabric. "It's hard to imagine, but it's happening. We're going to be parents, Y/n."
You look up at him, your heart swelling with excitement and a bit of nervousness. "Yeah, we are." You glance around at all the baby things, a little overwhelmed by how much there is to choose from. "We've got a lot to get, huh?"
Jungkook chuckles, walking over and wrapping his arm around your shoulders, pulling you in close. "We've got time. But for now, we can at least look, right?"
You nod, leaning into him as you both continue to wander through the aisles, laughing and pointing out all the tiny, adorable things that make your hearts skip a beat.
As you make your way through the store, you can't help but pick up a few essentials: soft socks, tiny onesies in pastel colors, little hats that would fit perfectly over the baby's head, and a couple of cute toys that would be great for when they're a little older. You carefully choose each item, making sure they're practical but also irresistibly cute.
Your arms start to fill up with the tiny clothing, the soft fabrics making you smile as you picture your baby in them. You pick up a little stuffed bear and hold it to your chest, already imagining how sweet it'll look in their tiny hands.
"I swear, if we keep this up, we're going to need a second house just for all the baby stuff," you joke, looking up at Jungkook, who's silently watching you as you browse.
He smiles softly, looking at the little pile of items you've gathered. "Well, it's hard to resist, right? Everything here is so cute, I can barely stop myself from getting a whole bunch."
You laugh, nodding in agreement. "I could buy the entire store if I let myself." You glance at the shelves one more time, tempted by everything from soft baby blankets to adorable little shoes. "But I'm sticking to the essentials for now."
Jungkook walks up beside you, taking a moment to glance at the things you've picked out. "You've got a good eye. These will be perfect for our little one." He adds a few more things to your pile—some baby books and a cozy little blanket—and you both share a smile.
As you head to the counter to pay, you feel a wave of excitement wash over you, knowing that these tiny, thoughtful purchases are just the beginning of everything you're about to experience together as parents.
The lady behind the counter smiles warmly as she rings up the items. "How many weeks are you?" she asks, her voice soft and kind.
You glance up at her, a bit surprised by the question but answer easily. "I'm about 28 weeks now."
She nods, her expression softening as she looks over at Jungkook, who's standing by your side, holding the baby items you've picked out. "I can tell," she says with a gentle smile. "It's so sweet to see how your husband is taking care of you. Not many husbands are this involved."
You freeze for a moment, surprised by her observation. You glance at Jungkook, who's looking at the baby things with a soft expression, his attention on you. He's always been so attentive and caring, but you hadn't realized how obvious it was to others.
The lady notices your slight confusion and gives you a sympathetic smile, her voice lowering a bit. "Not many men take the time like he does. Most husbands work, and it's the women who end up doing it all—especially during pregnancy." She lets out a soft sigh, as if the thought weighs on her.
You feel a wave of mixed emotions—pride for Jungkook, but also a little sadness for what she said. It's hard to imagine pregnancy being so overwhelming without the support you have from him.
Jungkook seems to sense the shift in the air. He steps closer, his hand resting lightly on your back as he looks at the lady with a small but genuine smile. "I'm just doing what I should, right? I want to be there for her. It's our baby."
The lady smiles again, this time with a softness that touches her eyes. "You're a rare one, then. Take care of her, and I can tell you'll both be wonderful parents."
You smile back, feeling a warmth spread through you. Jungkook gives your back a gentle rub, his thumb lightly brushing over the fabric of your dress. "Don't worry," he says quietly, his eyes meeting yours with a hint of reassurance. "I'm always here."
Jungkook pays for the items, his fingers brushing over the bills before he hands them to the cashier. He waves her goodbye with a small smile, thanking her as you both make your way toward the door. As soon as you step outside into the bustling streets again, Jungkook gently places the bags in your hand and glances at you.
"Hey," he starts, his voice thoughtful. "You okay?"
You nod but can't hide the small frown tugging at the corners of your lips. "Yeah, I just... I wasn't expecting that. The way she talked about how not many husbands are this involved, and how women usually end up doing most of it... it just made me think."
Jungkook's expression softens, and he pulls you in a little closer as you both walk. "I get it. I know a lot of people assume the wife does it all, especially when it comes to pregnancy. But we're in this together, Y/n. I don't want to miss a thing."
You smile, the weight of his words easing some of the lingering doubt. "I know. It's just... I guess I didn't realize how different our situation might seem to others."
Jungkook shrugs slightly, his fingers lacing through yours. "We're a team. That's all that matters, right?"
You nod, squeezing his hand gently. "Yeah. You're right. I just want to make sure we're both doing our part."
He gives you a playful grin, his eyes sparkling with affection. "Trust me, you're doing more than enough. And I'm here, every step of the way. No one else's opinion matters but ours."
You laugh softly, the tension in your chest easing. "I guess you're right. We've got this."
Jungkook pulls you a little closer, his voice teasing but soft. "Of course we do. And besides, I don't mind spoiling you a little... I'd do anything for you."
You roll your eyes playfully, but the warmth in your chest spreads as you lean into him. "I know you would."
You tilt your head, a playful smile curling at your lips as you glance up at him. The word spoiling lingers in your mind, and you can't help but ask, "So, when you say spoiling, does that mean you'll buy me anything I want?"
You hold his arm a little tighter, looking up at him with a teasing glint in your eyes. "Anything, honey?" you add, dragging out the word just enough to make it sound extra sweet and playful.
Jungkook raises an eyebrow, clearly amused by the shift in your tone. He meets your gaze, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Anything, huh?" he repeats, as if considering the idea for a moment. "Well, I did say I'd spoil you... but I might need to know what you want first before I make any promises."
You give him a knowing look, your smile turning mischievous. "Oh, I think you already know exactly what I want."
Jungkook laughs softly, squeezing your hand as he looks down at you. "I guess I do," he says, his voice full of warmth. "But you've got to give me a little more credit. You know I'll do anything for you, right?"
You nod, leaning into him, enjoying the comfortable closeness. "I know, but it's fun to hear you say it."
His arm wraps around your shoulders, pulling you in a little tighter. "Alright, anything you want, I'll get. But only because you're worth it, honey."
You both share a laugh, the teasing back and forth turning into a soft, affectionate moment as you walk side by side.
You both walk into a nearby café, the cozy atmosphere welcoming as the cool air hits you, offering a bit of relief from the heat. Jungkook heads up to the counter to order, and you find a small table outside, settling down in the shade with a perfect view of the bustling street. You watch people walk by, each person going about their day in the busy Seoul streets.
As you sit back, your mind drifts back to the interaction in the baby store. The way the lady had casually called Jungkook "your husband" still echoes in your mind. You can't help but chuckle to yourself, a soft laugh escaping as you shake your head, remembering the moment.
Jungkook notices, walking back toward you with two drinks in hand. "What's so funny?" he asks, placing one of the drinks in front of you.
You grin at him, your eyes sparkling with amusement. "I was just thinking about what the lady said in the store. She called you my husband so easily."
He raises an eyebrow, sitting down across from you. "Well, I am your husband, aren't I?"
You laugh, your voice light. "I know, but it just sounded so natural coming from her. Like, she just assumed it."
Jungkook smiles, leaning back in his chair as he takes a sip of his drink. "I guess it's not so strange. We've been together for a while now, and we're about to be parents. It makes sense."
You nod, still grinning. "Yeah, but the way she said it, it just felt so official. Like we're already in this whole married life thing." You pause for a moment, looking at him thoughtfully. "It feels... nice, though."
Jungkook's smile softens, and he reaches across the table to gently squeeze your hand. "It does, doesn't it? It feels right."
You hold his gaze for a moment, the weight of his words sinking in, before you let out another soft laugh. "I just didn't expect someone to call you my husband so casually."
Jungkook laughs too, shaking his head. "I guess that's just what we are now." He leans forward, a teasing glint in his eyes. "And you know, I'm perfectly okay with that."
You both share a warm, affectionate smile, letting the little moment of laughter fade into a comfortable silence as you sip your drinks and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
You lean back in your chair, the quiet hum of the café around you, and suddenly, a thought strikes you. You glance up at Jungkook, who's sipping his drink casually, and ask, "So, what do you think about marriage? Like... when would you want to get married?"
He pauses, setting his cup down and looking at you with a thoughtful expression. His brow furrows slightly as he considers the question, and for a moment, the silence stretches between you two.
"Honestly?" He looks at you directly, a hint of seriousness in his eyes. "I'd want to get married as soon as possible. I know it sounds cliché, but... when the time feels right."
You blink, confused by his sudden directness. "Really?" you ask, your voice a little surprised. "You want to get married now?"
He chuckles softly at your expression, leaning forward slightly, the sincerity in his voice clear. "Not right this moment, but yeah, I'd want to get married when I know the time is right. I don't want to wait too long. I feel like we're already building this life together, and I want to make it official when the time's right for us."
You look at him, still trying to process his answer. "But... when would that be? What's the 'right' time?"
Jungkook's gaze softens, and he reaches across the table to gently take your hand. "It's not about a date or a specific moment, Y/n. It's about us, and when we feel ready. I think we're already there. We've got everything falling into place, and I know we'll be great together. I want to marry you when it feels right—no rush, just when we know."
You blink, trying to wrap your head around his words. There's something incredibly sweet and serious in his tone, but it also leaves you with a lot to think about. "I didn't expect that answer," you admit, smiling softly. "I guess we really are in this together."
Jungkook smiles back at you, his thumb brushing over your hand gently. "Yeah, we are."
You chuckle lightly, shaking your head as you playfully warn him. "Just don't decide to get married when we have more kids and are basically old, okay?"
Jungkook freezes for a second, his eyebrows raised as he processes your words. Then, a soft laugh escapes him, and his eyes sparkle with amusement. "More kids, huh?" he teases, clearly noticing the way you phrased it. "So, we're already planning on having more, huh?"
You roll your eyes, a smile tugging at your lips. "Well, you know... I'm just saying. We might have a few more after this one. But no, seriously, don't wait until we're both wrinkled with a bunch of kids running around before you decide to make it official."
Jungkook chuckles, leaning back in his chair as he looks at you, his smile widening. "Don't worry, I'm not waiting until we're old. But hey, if we have more kids, I'll still be there, even if we're both covered in wrinkles."
You laugh at the thought, the idea of having a whole bunch of kids together somehow feeling comforting. "Alright, alright. But no waiting too long, okay? I'd like to look cute for our wedding day, not all wrinkled up."
He grins, reaching across the table to squeeze your hand. "Deal. We'll get married before we both end up with gray hair and a ton of kids."
The light teasing between you two continues, but the underlying warmth in his words makes you feel reassured. You both share a laugh, the future seeming brighter with each passing moment you spend together.
As you and Jungkook continue your conversation, a little boy suddenly comes running up to him, catching him off guard. His eyes light up as he gleams, excitement practically radiating off him. "Are you really Jungkook?" the boy asks, breathless from running.
Jungkook blinks, surprised for a moment, but then his face breaks into a warm, genuine smile. "Yeah, that's me. What's your name, buddy?"
The little boy's eyes shine even brighter as he answers eagerly, "I'm Jaehyun!"
Jungkook crouches down to Jaehyun's level, looking at him with kind eyes. "Nice to meet you, Jaehyun! How about a picture?"
Jaehyun's face lights up even more at the suggestion. "Yes, please!" He eagerly holds out his phone, his hands shaking slightly from excitement.
Jungkook laughs softly, a tender, playful smile on his face. He picks Jaehyun up effortlessly, holding him in his arms as if they were old friends, and stands tall. "Alright, let's make this a good one," he says, posing with Jaehyun, who mirrors his excitement with a big grin.
You watch the whole interaction, completely charmed by how naturally Jungkook handles it. You can't help but coo at the sweetness of the moment, your heart swelling as you observe Jungkook, the future father, being so gentle and affectionate with the little boy.
Jaehyun's mom, who had been standing nearby, quickly snaps a photo of the two of them. Jaehyun beams, his arms wrapped around Jungkook's neck, and after the picture is taken, he grins even wider. "Thank you, Jungkook! You're the best!"
Jungkook chuckles softly, giving the boy a gentle pat on the back as he sets him down. "You're welcome, Jaehyun. Stay awesome, okay?"
Jaehyun nods enthusiastically, his smile never fading, before running back to his mom, who thanks Jungkook for the kind gesture.
As Jungkook stands up and turns back to you, a soft laugh escapes him. "That kid was adorable."
You smile at him, your voice warm and affectionate. "You were so good with him, Jungkook. I can already picture you being the best dad."
He shrugs, but the pride in his eyes is clear as he looks at you. "I guess it comes naturally." He pauses for a moment, the tenderness in his expression growing. "I'll be there for our little one, just like that."
You smile back, your heart feeling lighter, knowing that the love he shows even to strangers will be the same love he gives your child.
As the little rush of excitement from Jaehyun fades and the two of you continue to sip your drinks, you find yourself scrolling through your phone absentmindedly. You pause on an article and frown slightly, your eyes scanning the words a little more intently.
After a moment, you glance up at Jungkook and quietly ask, "Hey... I've been reading about breastfeeding."
He looks over at you, immediately attentive. "Yeah?"
You nod slowly, your thumb still resting on the screen. "It's amazing how much it helps the baby—like, immunity, bonding, even lowering risks of stuff like asthma and infections." You pause, then your voice softens a little, "But... it says it can change your body a lot too. Like, your breasts might never look the same, and your hormones get thrown all over the place."
You pout a little, letting the phone fall onto your lap as you sulk. "It just kinda sucks, you know? I want to do what's best for the baby, but I'm already feeling so different. And this is just more stuff."
Jungkook doesn't hesitate. He reaches across the table and gently takes your hand, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles. "Y/n... your body's already doing something incredible. You're literally creating life right now."
You glance at him, still pouting. "I know, but—"
"But nothing," he says softly but firmly. "It's okay to feel nervous about the changes. It's normal. But none of it will change how I see you. Not even a little."
You blink at him, your pout faltering.
He leans in a bit closer. "You're beautiful. And strong. And no matter how your body changes, it's still yours—and I'll love every part of it. Especially because of everything it's doing for our baby."
You feel your eyes sting just a little at his words, your heart swelling with emotion. "You really mean that?"
Jungkook nods with a small smile. "I do. Every word. You're doing amazing, and I've got your back through every change."
You squeeze his hand back, your voice quiet. "Thank you... really."
He brings your hand to his lips, brushing a soft kiss across your knuckles. "Always."
Jungkook watches your sulky expression with that familiar mischievous glint in his eyes. After reassuring you so sweetly, he can't help himself—he leans back slightly, smirking.
"Well," he says, voice low and teasing, "if your boobs change, I guess I'll just have to fall in love with them all over again."
You blink, caught off guard, then gape at him as your cheeks flush. "Jungkook!" you swat at his arm, unable to stop the laugh that escapes your lips.
He grins proudly, clearly enjoying your reaction. "What?" he shrugs innocently. "I'm just being supportive. Emotionally... and physically."
You shake your head, laughing now, but you can't hide the smile tugging at your lips. "You're such a menace."
He leans closer with a wink. "Maybe. But I'm your menace. With a very healthy appreciation for your... dedication as a future mom."
You roll your eyes, still smiling. "You're impossible."
"And yet... you love me," he says smugly, sipping his drink like he didn't just make a wildly inappropriate but somehow sweet joke in the middle of a café.
You just sigh dramatically, resting your hand on your bump. "This poor child is going to grow up with the most chaotic dad ever."
Jungkook grins. "Lucky kid."
Just as you're mid-eye-roll at Jungkook's teasing, you suddenly pause, your expression shifting.
"Ah—" you groan softly, your hand instinctively flying to your stomach.
Jungkook immediately straightens up, concern flickering in his eyes. "What? What is it?"
You press your palm gently against the spot, a small smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "The baby kicked..." you murmur, a little winded from the suddenness of it. "It was a strong one this time."
His eyes widen, and in an instant, he's on the edge of his seat, scooting closer. "Wait—right now? Can I feel?"
You nod, shifting slightly in your chair and taking his hand to guide it to where you felt the movement. You both go quiet, eyes locked as he holds his breath.
Then—there it is. A soft but firm thump right against his palm.
"Oh my god," Jungkook breathes out, his voice full of awe. "That was... wow."
You giggle, the discomfort already forgotten as you watch his expression light up like a kid seeing magic for the first time.
"He's really active today," you say, still holding his hand to your belly.
Jungkook doesn't move, just stares at your bump like it's the most fascinating thing in the world. "He's strong. Definitely got that from me."
You snort. "Oh, here we go."
He grins without looking away. "No, seriously. That kick had purpose. He's probably already training for a black belt or something."
You laugh, your heart warm as you watch him stay completely wrapped up in the moment. "Or maybe just kicking because he heard your flirty joke and decided to protest."
Jungkook gasps playfully. "Already siding with you, huh? Traitor."
You both laugh, and for a moment, everything feels still and perfect—just you, Jungkook, and the tiny life inside you, making his presence known.
Although it was the middle of November, the heat couldn't go unnoticed. The sun clung to your skin, warm and relentless, as you made your way down the familiar streets. You sighed, shifting the shopping bags in your hand, your bump feeling heavier than usual after a long day of walking.
You had hoped by now you'd be bundling up in oversized sweaters, maybe even seeing your breath in the morning air. But no, Seoul had apparently decided to skip the whole crisp-winter-transition thing and just bake you alive instead.
You glance up at the sky, narrowing your eyes like you were trying to guilt the weather into changing. "It was colder in the summer than it is now," you mutter under your breath, fanning yourself with one of the smaller bags.
The weight of the day sits on your shoulders—your feet ache, your back is starting to complain, and the baby was moving around like it had its own opinions about the weather too. But somehow, despite the exhaustion, there's a weird kind of peace in just walking. Familiar streets. Familiar air. Your home just a few blocks away.
And as you turn the last corner, the thought of curling up next to Jungkook, blasting the AC and pretending it's snowing outside makes a tired smile tug at your lips.
Jungkook opened the door for you the moment you reached it, his eyes immediately scanning your face. "You okay?" he asked, already reaching for the shopping bags in your hands—even though he was juggling several of his own.
"I'm fine," you said with a small sigh, stepping inside and kicking off your shoes. "Just hot... and tired... and carrying what feels like a bowling ball in my stomach."
He chuckled softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head as he took every last bag from your arms. "Let me take care of it. Go sit, breathe, hydrate—whatever pregnant queens do."
You rolled your eyes but smiled anyway, shuffling toward the kitchen counter with the light grocery bag you'd insisted on carrying yourself. Just a few things for dinner. You set it down and leaned your hip against the counter, feeling the cool surface against your hand.
From behind you, Jungkook appeared, carefully placing the rest of the bags down before glancing at you. "You really didn't have to carry that last one, you know," he said, raising an eyebrow.
"It had the snacks," you said simply, pulling out a box of cookies and hugging it to your chest like a treasure.
Jungkook shook his head with a grin. "Ah, of course. The essentials."
He started unpacking everything without complaint, even humming a little tune under his breath as he moved around the kitchen. You couldn't help but admire him—his sleeves pushed up, hair a little messy, face soft with focus as he took care of things like it was second nature.
Pregnancy was exhausting. The heat was miserable. But coming home to this—to him—somehow made it all feel a little easier.
As you leaned against the counter, watching Jungkook sort through the groceries, your mind began to drift. It hit you like a quiet wave—how fast everything had happened.
Almost nine months together. But only four months of truly knowing each other. Really knowing each other. It was wild when you thought about it—he had gone from someone who made your heart skip for all the simple reasons to someone who now carried your bags, kissed your forehead without thinking, and whispered to your belly at night like he'd been waiting for this moment his whole life.
You blinked, realizing how hectic it all truly was. The relationship. The pregnancy. The way life had shifted so suddenly and somehow still made room for both of you to fall into it with your whole hearts.
And yet... it never really felt wrong. Just fast.
"Hey," Jungkook's voice pulled you back. He turned from the fridge, a slight furrow between his brows. "You okay? You zoned out."
You gave him a soft smile. "Yeah... just thinking."
"About?"
You hesitated, then walked over and wrapped your arms around him from the side, resting your cheek against his shoulder. "About how crazy this all is. How fast it's been. We've barely known each other for four months and somehow... we're here."
He paused, letting that sink in too. His arm came around your back without hesitation.
"Yeah," he said quietly. "It's been fast. But I don't regret a single second."
You looked up at him, eyes a little watery without warning. "Even the chaotic ones?"
"Especially the chaotic ones," he said, smiling down at you. "That's where all the best parts live."
And just like that, your heart settled again—because despite the whirlwind, you realized... this wasn't a mistake. It was just your story, told a little quicker than most.
Jungkook let out a quiet sigh, his hand rubbing gentle circles on your back as you rested against him.
"It's actually normal, you know," he said softly. "People always act like there's a timeline you have to follow—like you need to date for years before things are real. But I don't think love waits around like that."
You pulled back slightly, looking up at him. His eyes were sincere, steady, with that kind of calm honesty that always caught you off guard.
"I'm not embarrassed about us, Y/n," he continued. "Not even a little. We didn't take the slow route, but... I don't think we had to."
You blinked, a little caught in the weight of his words, until he smiled gently and added, "I fell in love with you the moment I helped you with your bags when you moved in."
Your heart stilled.
"What?" you asked, a bit breathless, remembering that chaotic day—the boxes, the heat, how frazzled you were and how calm he was, how easily he'd stepped in without even being asked.
From Jungkook's point of view, that moment never left his memory—not because it was perfect, but because it was real.
He had just gotten back from the gym, headphones in, towel slung around his neck, and a bottled drink half-finished in his hand. He hadn't even planned on going outside again, but then he saw you—struggling with boxes, arms full, sweat on your brow, determination all over your face—and suddenly, his legs moved before he could think twice.
"Here, let me help you with that," he'd blurted out. His voice had cracked a little, and he hated how he sounded—too eager, too forward.
You had spun around, and when your eyes met his, Jungkook's brain short-circuited.Beautiful. That was the first word that hit him. Right before Oh shit.
You stared up at him with confusion, and he panicked. "Fuck, okay, that was such an uncool first impression. What I meant to say was 'Welcome to the neighborhood.'" His words came out fast, all jumbled. He wanted to smack himself.
And then you—gorgeous, exhausted, clearly not having it—gave him a flat "Thank you, I guess," which hit him like a punch to the gut.
Smooth, Jungkook. Real smooth.
Still, he swallowed the embarrassment and picked up your boxes without another word. He wasn't about to walk away just because his pride took a hit. As he carried them up, he could feel your eyes on his back. He smirked to himself, a little smug. If you were gonna brush him off, you could at least enjoy the view.
When he reached the top, he turned around and called, "Are you gonna come up and unlock your door or are you just gonna stare at me?"
That was the first time he saw you flustered—and damn, it was worth it.
Inside, he followed quietly, placing the boxes where you pointed. His eyes scanned the empty room, taking in the lifelessness of the space. No bed. No couch. No curtains. Just... you. And somehow, even that made the place feel a little warmer.
"You don't have any furniture? Not even a bed?" he asked, genuinely concerned.
You waved it off, talking about your dad bringing everything later, and then hit him with the coldest dismissal: "But you can go now. I don't need anything else."
Jungkook didn't say anything. He just gave a tight nod, turned, and left.
But what you didn't know was—outside your door, as he walked down those stairs—he was smiling.
Because even though it was awkward and kind of a disaster, there was something about you... something in the way you looked at him when you thought he wasn't watching. Something in how guarded you were, but not cold. He knew then—you were going to ruin him in the best way.
And damn if he didn't want to let you.
He knew the second he laid eyes on you—you were different. The one.
Jungkook had never been the type to romanticize love at first sight. He knew himself too well—how easily things came and went in his life, especially when it came to relationships. He'd had flings, casual sparks that never turned into anything real. He liked his freedom, his space. And truthfully, he never really let anyone in deep enough to change that.
But you?
You had barely even spoken to him when something shifted in his chest. You weren't trying to impress him. You weren't soft or bubbly, not at first. You were guarded, a little blunt, and fiercely independent—so much so that you'd tried carrying three heavy boxes up the stairs alone without asking for help. And still, you had this energy... this quiet fire that made his pulse skip.
Something told him—this is it.Not a fling. Not a phase. Not someone he'd forget in a few months.
It confused him at first. Made him question if he was just imagining it. But then the days passed, and you didn't leave his thoughts. He found himself lingering outside longer, hoping to see you again. He paid more attention to when your lights came on. Even little things—like how you laughed when you finally started warming up to him—those moments stuck like tattoos on his heart.
And it scared him a little. Because this wasn't the Jungkook he knew. But at the same time, he felt peace in the chaos of it all.
He wanted you. Not the version of you that fit into some perfect box. He wanted the moody, chaotic, sharp-tongued, beautiful mess of a woman who made him laugh, made him think, and made him feel like he'd been waiting his whole life just to see you standing at the bottom of those stairs.
Yeah, he knew. From the very beginning. You weren't just someone. You were the one.
Jungkook blinked slowly, pulled from the depths of his memory as the soft scent of your shampoo filled his nose, your body warm and snug against his. The present wrapped around him like a blanket, and he looked down at you—your belly gently pressing against him, your hands resting on his chest like they belonged there.
Maybe some people would say he was too attached. Maybe they'd call it too fast, too intense, too much. But Jungkook didn't care.
He wanted to be attached. He wanted you in every form—on your good days, your cranky mornings, your quiet stares out the window, the way you nibbled on ice even when he told you not to. Every moment was just another reason to stay close.
Without a word, he leaned in and kissed you—hard.
There was no hesitation in it, just raw feeling. Like he was trying to say all the things that words couldn't hold. His hand cradled the back of your neck, the other finding its way around your waist as if anchoring you to him. You kissed him back just as deeply, the world fading around you, like time had paused just to let the two of you feel everything.
But eventually, breath won over passion. You both had to force yourselves to break away, panting slightly, lips swollen, eyes locked.
He leaned forward again, resting his forehead gently against yours, your noses brushing, the moment quiet and full of warmth.
Breathing in sync, hearts pounding together, Jungkook whispered so softly only you could hear—
"I'm never letting you go."
Jungkook's arms slipped around your waist as he leaned in closer, his eyes flicking down to your growing belly with that ever-present tenderness. Without a word, he slid one hand beneath your thighs, the other steadying your back, and with ease—like you weighed nothing at all—he lifted you off the floor.
"Careful," you murmured, though your hands were already instinctively holding onto his shoulders.
"I got you," he said quietly, eyes warm, voice low.
He turned and gently placed you on the edge of the kitchen counter, hands lingering at your sides as he made sure you were comfortable and safe. His fingers brushed over your dress, smoothing it out where it had bunched up from the lift, then rested lightly on your knees.
"You good?" he asked, slightly leaning in, his eyes scanning your face like you were the most precious thing in the world.
You nodded, the cool surface of the counter contrasting with the heat radiating from where his body was still so close. His hands hadn't left you, and neither had that look—the one he only gave you when the rest of the world felt like background noise.
"Just wanted you up here," he mumbled, voice soft as his fingers played with the hem of your dress. "So I can kiss you without breaking my back."
And with that, he leaned in, lips brushing yours again—slower this time, sweeter, like he had all the time in the world.
Jungkook pulls away slightly, his hands still resting on your waist as he looks at you with a soft, loving smile. "Honey," he murmurs, his voice low and warm, the word wrapping around you like a tender embrace.
He then leans in, his lips pressing gently against your neck, sending a rush of warmth through your body. As he pulls away, he whispers, "I love you," his voice full of sincerity and affection, the words meaning more than anything else in that moment.
Jungkook's lips curl into a playful smile as you giggle, the sound making his heart race just a little faster. You tilt your neck slightly, giving him more room to kiss, and he takes full advantage, pressing his lips against your skin again, this time a little more gently, savoring the moment.
He watches you with tender eyes as you whisper back, "I love you too." Your words are soft, but they hit him like a wave of warmth, filling him with a sense of contentment he can't quite describe.
His hands move to gently hold your face, his thumb brushing over your cheek. "I'll never get tired of hearing that," he says, his voice quiet but full of emotion.
He leans in again, kissing you softly on the lips, not wanting to let go of the moment, of you.
You pull away slightly from the kiss, your smile still lingering on your lips as you ask, "What time is it?"
Jungkook quickly glances at his phone, his eyes still partly focused on you. "5 PM," he says, but before you can react, he's back on you, his lips finding yours again, as if he couldn't pull away even if he wanted to.
You gently break the kiss, a playful glint in your eyes. "We need to go to the couple's pregnant group," you remind him, feeling a little guilty for delaying it, even though you didn't mind spending this time with him.
Jungkook groans, pulling back just enough to rest his forehead against yours. "One more minute," he mutters, already trailing kisses down to your neck again, his hands sliding to your waist as if trying to convince you both to stay in the moment a little longer.
You laugh, the warmth of his affection overwhelming you, but you can't help but indulge in just a few more moments with him, knowing the group would still be there when you were ready.
You pull away gently, giving him a teasing look as you raise an eyebrow. "Wait a minute," you say, your voice laced with playful suspicion. "Are you doing this just so you don't have to go to the pregnancy group today?"
Jungkook immediately freezes, his cheeks flushing slightly, caught in the act. He chuckles nervously, running a hand through his hair, his usual confident demeanor faltering just a little.
"Maybe," he admits with a grin, though he looks guilty, his eyes meeting yours. "I mean, I did enjoy spending this time with you... but, uh, I swear I'm ready to go when you are." He shifts slightly, clearly hoping to avoid the awkwardness of the conversation.
You can't help but laugh, shaking your head as you reach for his hand. "You're impossible," you tease, but there's a softness to your tone. "We can't keep skipping it, Jungkook. The baby needs it."
He sighs dramatically, but his grip tightens on your hand as he pulls you closer. "Fine, fine. But just one more kiss before we go," he smirks, clearly still trying to win a little more time.
Jungkook gently helps you down from the counter, his hands steady and careful as he guides you toward the door. The day has quickly slipped into evening, the sun dipping lower in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over everything as the world starts to quiet.
He picks up your jacket from the hook near the door, his eyes meeting yours with a soft smile. "Let's get going," he says, the hint of a joke in his voice as he pulls the jacket on you, his fingers brushing lightly over your shoulders.
You feel his hand at your back, guiding you toward the car as the cool evening air hits you, the temperature noticeably dropping as the sun sets. The sky above is painted in shades of orange and pink, a peaceful moment before the night fully takes over.
Jungkook opens the car door for you, his eyes soft with care. "Alright, let's go make sure we're the most stylish couple at the pregnancy group," he grins, as you slip into the passenger seat.
The moment feels simple, but in its own way, it's everything—being with him, taking it all in, knowing that this was just another step in the journey ahead. The car door closes with a soft click, and the two of you drive off, the evening's quiet settling around you as you head to your next adventure together.
You and Jungkook step into the pregnancy group just in time, the door closing softly behind you as you scan the room. It's a familiar setting, warm and welcoming, with expectant couples chatting quietly. You spot the couple you met last time—the ones who had been so friendly and open—and you wave, making your way toward them with Jungkook right behind you.
The moment you approach, the husband Ben greets you with a warm smile, and the conversation starts up easily, as though no time had passed since your last meeting. You're glad to be here, and the easy camaraderie feels nice.
Jungkook, however, seems to be a little on edge. You catch his gaze flicking over to the husband, clearly trying to make small talk, but there's a bit of hesitation in his movements. You remember the hard warning you gave him earlier—the one about keeping things cool and not making a scene—and you see him trying to tread carefully, a little more cautious than usual.
As you chat with Lily and Ben, you can feel the bond growing between you and Lily. You've messaged her a couple of times before, and it's easy to see why—being due at the same time has already given you so much to talk about. You exchange stories about what's been going on, from your latest pregnancy milestones to the things you're both getting ready for with the baby.
Ben, who's standing next to Lily, smiles as he watches the two of you chat. He seems just as excited for the journey ahead, and you can sense that the two of them are in this together, supporting each other as parents-to-be.
Jungkook, still hovering nearby, looks a bit more relaxed now, seeing how well the conversation is flowing. He gives you a small, approving nod before offering Ben a handshake, clearly trying to be more at ease this time around.
The energy feels positive, and you can tell Lily is just as excited as you to have someone to share this experience with. There's a comfort in knowing you're not alone on this journey, and having someone like Lily to confide in only makes things easier.
You smile softly at Jungkook's attempt to ease into the conversation. It's clear he's trying, and it makes you appreciate how much he's working to make things comfortable for everyone. The husband responds with a smile, diving into a conversation about baby names and what they've been preparing for. The tension starts to melt away, but you can feel Jungkook's wariness lingering.
You cling to Jungkook's arm, feeling his presence beside you as Lily excitedly shares the baby names she's come up with. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and you can't help but smile at how much she's enjoying this part of the process. She lists a few names, her eyes sparkling with the joy of imagining what it will be like when her little one arrives.
Jungkook, feeling the shift in your mood, gently squeezes your hand, offering silent support as Lily continues. You lean into him a little more, enjoying the comfort he provides. There's something calming about having him so close, especially in a setting like this, where everything feels a little unfamiliar.
Lily glances at you, catching the look on your face. "What about you?" she asks, her voice light with curiosity. "Have you two come up with any names yet?"
You chuckle softly, shrugging your shoulders, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the pressure of choosing the perfect name. "We have a few ideas," you reply, glancing up at Jungkook, who gives you a soft, reassuring smile.
You feel his thumb gently brushing against your arm, and it makes you smile, glad to have him by your side through all of this. As Lily continues with her list of names, you realize just how much you're looking forward to the rest of the journey—and the chance to share it with people like Lily.
Lily hesitates for a moment, her cheeks flushing slightly as she asks, "Do you think... when the babies grow up, they could be friends? I mean, get to know each other better, especially since they're both so new here and don't really have many friends yet in South Korea?"
You smile warmly at the thought, nodding enthusiastically. "That sounds lovely," you say, genuinely touched by her thoughtfulness. The idea of your babies growing up together, becoming friends, and sharing those early years of life is heartwarming.
Meanwhile, Jungkook, standing next to you, visibly cringes at the suggestion, trying to hide his reaction. He looks away quickly, his brows furrowed as he seemingly processes the idea. Maybe it's the thought of the future, or the pressure of making everything perfect for the babies, but he's clearly not entirely on board just yet.
Noticing his reaction, you give his arm a small, reassuring squeeze, understanding that he's likely just overwhelmed by the thought of everything ahead. You turn back to Lily, trying to keep the mood light. "It would be really nice, though, don't you think?" you add, hoping to ease the moment and keep things positive.
Lily smiles shyly, clearly relieved by your response, while Jungkook stays quiet, probably working through his own feelings. You know he'll come around, but for now, you're happy to let the idea of future friendships hang in the air.
Lily, clearly excited by the moment, jumps a little, her enthusiasm overflowing as she pulls out a box of cupcakes. She eagerly hands it to you, her face lighting up with excitement. "I thought you might like these!" she says, her voice practically sparkling with joy.
Jungkook, caught off guard by the sudden gesture, looks a little dumbfounded, unsure of how to react at first. His brows furrow for just a moment before he quickly gathers himself, accepting the box with a soft smile. Without hesitation, he hands it to you, his face softening as he watches your reaction.
"Thank you," you say, your voice warm and genuine, as you take the box from him. You're touched by Lily's kindness and can't help but smile as you open the box to see the neatly decorated cupcakes inside. They look almost too good to eat.
Jungkook stands beside you, still processing the surprise, but his expression softens as he sees how happy you are. "You didn't have to," you add to Lily, your smile lingering as you reach for one of the cupcakes.
Lily blushes a little, shrugging in that shy but endearing way she always does. "It's no problem! I just thought it'd be nice."
You can feel the warmth between the three of you, the casual conversation and small moments like this making everything feel just a little more connected.
You sit down, making yourself comfortable in the chair as Jungkook follows suit, settling beside you. You glance at him, giving him a curious look. "Why were you cringing earlier?" you ask, your voice light, though you can't help but chuckle softly at his reaction.
Jungkook shifts a little, not quite meeting your eyes, but his voice comes out low as he explains, "It's just... she's a bit too much sometimes. The baby names were kind of big, and it just made me think a lot."
You raise an eyebrow, considering his words. "Hmm, yeah, Lily can be a lot," you agree, nodding thoughtfully. "But she's always so nice. Even through her messages, I never seemed to care about that stuff. It's just her excitement, right?"
Jungkook lets out a soft sigh, realizing there's more to it than just the baby names. "I get it. She's nice, but... I guess it's just a lot for me to take in all at once. I'm not really used to that kind of energy."
You think for a moment, glancing over at Lily, who's still chatting with Ben, and then back at Jungkook. You can see where he's coming from, especially with the overwhelming nature of it all. "I get it, though," you say with a small smile, "But it's just her way of being excited, right?"
Jungkook nods slowly, still looking a little unsure. "Yeah... I just don't always know how to handle it."
You chuckle softly, resting your hand gently on his. "I know. But hey, you're doing a good job."
It's a simple reassurance, but it seems to help, and you notice a slight easing of the tension in his shoulders as he smiles at you, grateful for your understanding.
Jungkook turns to you, his expression shifting slightly as he asks, "What's the class about today?"
You glance at the schedule for the day, then look back at him with a small grin. "It's about changing diapers," you reply, feeling a little amused at the thought of his reaction.
His face immediately twists into a look of mock disgust, and he groans loudly. "Ugh, really? I'm not sure I'm ready for that."
You can't help but laugh at his reaction, the playful side of him coming through. Despite his obvious distaste for the topic, there's something endearing about how much he cares, even if he doesn't want to show it.
As you watch him, you find yourself pausing for a second, admiring how effortlessly handsome he looks—even when he's making a face like that. He still manages to look so good, his features sharp and his expression full of character. You can't help but wonder how you ended up with someone so incredible.
"Seriously, how did I get so lucky?" you think to yourself, the thought lingering in your mind. Jungkook catches your gaze and raises an eyebrow, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
"What?" he asks, clearly noticing the way you're looking at him.
You shake your head, still grinning. "Nothing," you say with a soft laugh, your heart feeling a little lighter. "Just thinking about how you're somehow always so perfect."
Jungkook's smirk softens into a genuine smile, his eyes lighting up at your compliment. "You're the one who's perfect," he replies softly, his voice low and sincere.
You smile playfully, imagining the future, and say, "You know, when the baby grows up, you're going to look like a scary dad with all your piercings, muscles, and tattoos."
Jungkook chuckles at the thought, shaking his head slightly. He then leans closer to you, a mischievous glint in his eyes, and lets you gently touch his lip piercing. "Scary, huh?" he says, his voice teasing. "Guess I'll have to make sure no one gets too close to them."
You trace your finger lightly along his lip, feeling the cool metal of the piercing under your touch, and laugh softly. "Yeah, no one's going to mess with your kid if you look like that," you tease, enjoying the playful moment with him.
Jungkook smirks, clearly amused by your words. "Guess I'll have to keep up the tough dad image," he says, but there's warmth in his eyes as he looks at you, clearly enjoying the connection between you both.
Your fingers gently move to his eyebrow piercing, and you instinctively brush aside a few stray strands of his newly cut black, layered hair, giving him a soft, affectionate smile. His hair falls just perfectly around his face, the C-cut framing his features effortlessly.
Jungkook watches you, his gaze softening as you touch him so tenderly. His lips curl into a slight smile, and you can tell he enjoys the attention. "You're always so gentle," he murmurs, his voice low, appreciating the way you care for him in these little moments.
You meet his eyes, your touch lingering for a moment longer as you feel the warmth of his skin beneath your fingertips. "You know, this haircut really suits you," you say, unable to help yourself from admiring how well it fits him.
Jungkook chuckles, his eyes lighting up with amusement as he runs a hand through his hair. "I'm glad you like it," he replies, his smile growing a little wider as he looks at you, clearly content in this quiet, intimate moment shared between the two of you.
Your hand, almost instinctively, drifts down to rest gently on his stomach. As your fingers brush against the fabric of his shirt, you feel his muscles shift slightly underneath, and for a moment, you let yourself enjoy the closeness. But then, Jungkook's voice, low and teasing, pulls you back to reality.
"Hey, people are watching," he warns, his eyes flickering toward the room, where others are still talking and laughing. "Don't start something you know we won't finish."
You immediately feel a rush of heat spread across your face, your body reacting to his words in a way that makes you a little flustered. You quickly pull your hand away, the warmth of the moment dissipating as you adjust yourself, trying to calm down. "I—I wasn't starting anything," you stammer, feeling a little embarrassed at how easily you'd been swept away.
Jungkook watches you with a knowing smile, clearly enjoying the effect he has on you. He leans in slightly, his voice still teasing but softer now. "It's okay," he says, his hand resting on yours for a moment before gently letting go. "I like how you get all flustered," he adds, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
You let out a small laugh, trying to compose yourself, and nod. "Well, you're distracting," you admit, a little shy now.
Jungkook smirks, his voice teasing but with an underlying hint of sincerity. "I have self-control, unlike you," he says with a playful chuckle. "I've been waiting for months now, and once you give birth, it'll finally give me the chance I've been waiting for."
You feel a little heat rise in your cheeks, both flustered by his words and amused by how confident he is. The playful tension between the two of you is undeniable, but you can't help but feel a little giddy knowing how much he cares, even if it means waiting.
You glance up at him, raising an eyebrow. "You're really making me wait that long, huh?" you tease, feeling the playful dynamic between you two grow stronger.
Jungkook's expression softens, and he gives you a small, affectionate smile. "It's not like I don't want to," he replies, his voice dropping slightly. "But I'll wait for you, whenever you're ready."
The tenderness in his words has you feeling both touched and a little shy, knowing that despite his teasing, he's showing just how much he respects you and your pace. You smile back at him, feeling a little more relaxed. "You're impossible," you laugh, shaking your head, but your heart feels full from his care.
