You raised an eyebrow, feeling your frustration building up. "Cringe? Jungkook, it's not just some random thing. It's important to me. I want us to be part of this experience together."

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know, but... I don't know. I'm just not feeling the whole couple pregnancy group thing. I feel out of place, you know?"

You crossed your arms, trying to stay calm. "I'm asking you to come with me, not to be the star of the show. It's not about you being 'out of place.' It's about supporting me through this."

Jungkook looked at you, guilt creeping into his expression. "I get it. I really do. I'm just... not good at this kind of stuff. But if it means that much to you, I'll go. I'll try, okay?"

You softened a little, knowing he was trying, even if he wasn't fully convinced. "It means a lot. We're in this together, Jungkook."

Jungkook finally gave in, unable to resist your persistence. He grumbled at first, rolling his eyes as you clung to him, kissing him over and over until you had him right where you wanted him. "Okay, okay, I'll go," he muttered, his hands going up in mock surrender, though a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

You beamed, practically jumping up to hug him. "Thank you, thank you!" you cheered, planting another kiss on his cheek.

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head. "You're lucky you're cute, you know that? If it weren't for those kisses, I'd have stayed home."

"Good thing I know how to get what I want then," you teased, wrapping your arms around him again.

He sighed dramatically, but his heart melted at the sight of your excitement. "I swear, I'm gonna be the most awkward person there."

"Don't worry," you said with a playful smile, "you'll be fine. Besides, it's just us and some other couples, nothing to stress about."

Jungkook rolled his eyes but couldn't help the soft smile on his face. "Alright, let's go then... but only because you begged me this much."

He nodded, offering a small smile. "Alright, alright. I'll go. But don't expect me to get all 'baby talk' and 'cringe' with everyone."

You couldn't help but laugh, feeling a little lighter. "Deal. As long as you're there."

As you walked into the room, you immediately felt a wave of warmth from the other parents. They all greeted you both with smiles, and you waved back with a polite smile, trying to make it look easy. Jungkook, however, was practically glaring at the floor, his arms crossed over his chest, and a deep frown on his face.

You sighed and nudged him, your patience running thin. "Jungkook, come on, smile a little. At least try to be friendly," you whispered, nudging him harder.

When he didn't respond, you leaned in and pinched his cheek hard. He yelped, eyes widening in surprise as you scolded him softly. "Jungkook, stop acting like a grump. These are other couples, they're just like us."

He rubbed his cheek, muttering under his breath. "It's just so... awkward."

"I know it's awkward," you said, giving him a pleading look. "But you promised. You have to try, okay? For me?"

Jungkook sighed, rolling his eyes but giving in with a reluctant nod. "Fine, fine. But you owe me for this."

You smiled, feeling a little victorious. "Deal. Now, can you at least smile for the group photo?"

He grimaced but eventually cracked a small smile, much to your relief.

As you sat down, the room buzzed with quiet conversations between the other parents. You shifted in your seat, trying to get comfortable while Jungkook sat beside you, his arms still crossed, looking a bit out of place. You gently nudged him, trying to encourage him to participate, but he was still focused on the front of the room.

The teacher, a kind-looking woman in her 40s, stood at the front, smiling warmly. She began speaking, her voice clear and soothing as she talked about the various stages of pregnancy and the benefits of taking care of your body during this time. She gave everyone a reassuring smile and started going over the importance of nutrition, rest, and mental well-being.

As she spoke, you found yourself nodding along, feeling a little more connected to everything as she shared tips on managing the physical and emotional aspects of pregnancy. Jungkook, however, looked less than thrilled, his gaze occasionally drifting to the windows or his phone.

The teacher then asked, "Does anyone have any questions or anything they'd like to share about their experience so far?"

You looked over at Jungkook, giving him an encouraging nudge. He glanced at you, and then at the teacher. He hesitated for a moment before finally speaking up. "Uh, yeah... So, is it normal for her to eat like... a lot of strawberries all the time?"

The room chuckled, and you shot him a playful glare. "I'm craving them," you defended, a slight blush creeping up your cheeks.

The teacher smiled, nodding understandingly. "Cravings are totally normal. They can vary from person to person, and it's a good idea to indulge in them occasionally, as long as they're part of a balanced diet."

You felt a little relieved knowing it was normal, but Jungkook just shook his head, smirking. "I think she's going to turn into one."

You laughed, nudging him again, feeling more at ease with his teasing. It was moments like this that made the whole pregnancy journey feel a little more real.

The teacher continued, her voice gentle but informative. "Once the baby is born, it's important to focus on both your recovery and the baby's well-being. You'll be learning new routines, such as feeding, changing diapers, and getting into a sleep schedule."

She paused for a moment, allowing everyone to absorb the information. "It's also essential to have support during this time. Whether it's from your partner, family, or close friends, make sure you're not doing everything alone. And don't forget to take care of yourself. You'll need to rest as much as possible when you can."

You turned to Jungkook, meeting his gaze. He was looking at the teacher now, seemingly more engaged than before. You felt a little reassured that he was paying attention, especially after the way he'd been acting earlier.

The teacher went on, explaining how important it was to establish a connection with your baby from the moment they were born. "Skin-to-skin contact helps with bonding and can calm both you and the baby. Talk to your baby, sing to them—it might seem silly at first, but they can hear your voice from inside the womb."

Jungkook's eyes softened slightly as he glanced at you, a small smile tugging at his lips. You could tell he was taking everything in, though he was still a bit uncomfortable in the group setting.

The teacher continued, "And don't forget to take care of your mental health. The first few weeks can be overwhelming, but it's okay to ask for help when you need it. You'll be learning as you go, so be kind to yourselves."

You nodded, appreciating the reminder. It felt like a lot to handle, but hearing it from the teacher made everything seem a little more manageable. You could do this with Jungkook by your side, and with your family's support.

The teacher finished by asking, "Any other questions before we go into more details about newborn care?"

You raised your hand, feeling a little more confident. "How do you deal with the lack of sleep when the baby's up all night?" you asked, looking at Jungkook, who was already giving you an apologetic smile.

The teacher chuckled softly. "Ah, the infamous lack of sleep. It's tough for everyone, but remember, it's temporary. You'll find ways to manage, whether it's napping when you can, or relying on help from others. It's about surviving the first few months and finding your rhythm."

You smiled at Jungkook, who gave you a reassuring look, as if silently telling you that you wouldn't be going through this alone. It was nice to feel the support, even in a room full of strangers.

The teacher pulled out a toy baby, holding it up with a proud smile. "Alright, everyone! Today we're going to learn how to wrap a baby properly," she announced. The soft, doll-like baby looked innocent enough, but you could tell from the expression on Jungkook's face that he wasn't sure what he had gotten himself into.

He leaned in and whispered to you, "I'm out," clearly uncomfortable with the idea of practicing on a baby, even a toy one.

You shot him a glare, "Jungkook, stop it. We need to learn this. It's important."

Jungkook slumped in his chair, still not looking too thrilled about the idea. You couldn't help but chuckle at his exaggerated grimace. It was adorable, but you knew he had to face it. After all, it wasn't just about you anymore—it was about both of you being prepared for this next chapter.

The teacher then began demonstrating, showing everyone how to gently swaddle the baby. She held the toy baby close, wrapping it snugly in a soft cloth. "Now, you'll want to make sure the baby feels secure but not too tight," she explained.

You could hear Jungkook's voice whisper from beside you. "This is so awkward." He was practically squirming in his seat, and you couldn't help but roll your eyes.

"Just pay attention," you whispered back, nudging him to focus.

The teacher turned toward the class. "Alright, couples, it's your turn now! Each of you will get one of these babies to practice on. Let's see how well you can wrap your little one."

You picked up the soft, stuffed baby and handed it to Jungkook, who looked down at it like it was an alien. He seemed unsure, his hands hovering over it as though he wasn't sure what to do next.

"Go ahead," you said, trying to sound encouraging. "I'll guide you."

With a reluctant sigh, Jungkook took the baby in his arms. You could tell he was trying to be as serious as he could, though the corners of his mouth twitched as he looked at you for reassurance.

"Okay, first, you want to wrap the cloth around like this," you said, gently showing him how to fold the fabric around the baby. Jungkook followed your instructions hesitantly at first, but as you guided him, he seemed to gain a little more confidence.

The more you worked together, the more you noticed his discomfort was turning into amusement. After a few minutes, the baby was wrapped snugly in the blanket, and Jungkook looked at his work with a smile.

"Hey, I did it!" he said, his eyes lighting up as he held up the wrapped toy.

You smiled at him, proud of his effort. "See? I knew you could do it."

He gave a small grin. "Not bad for a first try, huh?"

The teacher walked past, stopping to glance at Jungkook's wrapped baby. "Great job, Jungkook! You really got the hang of it," she said with a warm smile.

Jungkook flashed a quick, fake smile, clearly not feeling as confident as she was making him out to be. "Uh, yeah, thanks," he mumbled, the smile barely reaching his eyes.

As soon as she walked away, Jungkook rolled his eyes, letting out a quiet groan. "This is so weird," he whispered to you, looking both amused and slightly embarrassed by the whole situation.

You chuckled, trying to hold back your laughter at his reaction. "You're doing great, though," you teased, nudging him playfully.

"Yeah, yeah," he replied, still looking around the room to make sure no one else was watching. "I'll be ready for a real baby, but this... this is a little too much."

You smiled, knowing Jungkook was doing his best to get through it. "One step at a time," you reassured him, happy to see him trying—even if it wasn't exactly his idea of fun.

Jungkook gave you a small, sarcastic grin. "I swear, if I have to do this for real, we're hiring a nanny."

Jungkook stared down at the baby doll in his arms, his face scrunching up in disbelief. "I can't believe I'm doing this," he muttered, cringing slightly as he awkwardly adjusted the doll, trying to make it look more natural in his arms.

You couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous he looked, holding the doll with such discomfort. "You look so childish," you teased, smirking. "I hope the baby doesn't get this trait from you."

Jungkook shot you a playful glare, but there was a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Hey, I'm trying," he defended, adjusting the doll once more as if it would somehow make him look more convincing. "It's just... a little weird."

You giggled, your smile widening. "Well, don't worry. I'm sure our baby will be a pro at this, way cooler than you."

He rolled his eyes but couldn't stop himself from smiling at your teasing. "Yeah, right," he muttered under his breath, the thought of being a dad starting to feel a little more real. "Just don't let me catch our kid playing with dolls when they're older."

You raised an eyebrow, laughing at his mock-serious tone. "I'm sure you'll be fine. At least you're getting some practice now."

Jungkook shook his head, but you could tell he was secretly enjoying the moment. "I'll just make sure to leave the baby stuff to you," he said, as he handed the doll back to the teacher, looking relieved to be done.

You couldn't stop laughing, watching him trying to act like he wasn't enjoying it as much as he was. "You're going to be a great dad, I just know it."

The couple approached you with warm smiles, and you couldn't help but feel the positivity in the air as they introduced themselves.

"Hi! I'm Lily, and this is Ben," the woman said, offering her hand first, which you shook with a smile. "We're expecting our first too."

"Nice to meet you both," you replied, turning to Jungkook, who gave them a quick nod but seemed a bit distracted.

"Congratulations! How far along are you?" Ben asked, his friendly tone making the conversation feel easy.

"About four months now," you answered, happy to chat with people who understood exactly what you were going through. "It's been an interesting experience so far."

Jungkook, sitting next to you, muttered a small greeting, but you could tell his mind was elsewhere. He was trying to listen, but the way he was fidgeting with his phone and glancing around the room made it clear he wasn't fully invested in the conversation.

Lily smiled, noticing his slight disinterest, but she didn't seem to mind. "We're due in August. It's still kind of surreal. How are you two feeling about everything?"

You chuckled, glancing at Jungkook, who sighed dramatically and rubbed his neck. "It's definitely a lot to take in," you said with a smile, trying to make it clear you weren't the only one adjusting. "Jungkook's trying to get used to the idea of becoming a dad to the fake baby we held."

Jungkook gave you a side-eye and muttered, "I'm getting there," though his tone clearly indicated he was still processing it all.

Ben laughed, clearly understanding. "It's a lot, right? But you'll both get the hang of it."

Lily nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, at least you're not alone in this. Trust me, you'll look back and laugh at how you were nervous."

Jungkook smiled faintly, finally putting his phone down. "I hope so," he said, though it was clear he was still unsure of the whole experience.

You squeezed his hand reassuringly, making him turn to you with a slight smile.

The conversation continued, with Lily and Ben sharing stories of their pregnancy journey, but you could tell Jungkook was just trying to keep up and be polite. You appreciated his effort to at least listen, even if he wasn't completely interested yet.

The couple's stories about their experiences, though, made the whole thing seem a little less daunting, and you couldn't help but feel a bit more confident in the idea of what was to come. You could tell that over time, Jungkook would warm up to it, even if he wasn't quite there yet.

Jungkook gave a heavy sigh, clearly done with the small talk, and he gently but firmly placed his hand on your shoulder. "Alright, babe, we need to go now," he said, giving a polite but slightly rushed smile to the couple. You could feel him urging you to leave, and although you were enjoying the conversation, you knew when to wrap it up.

"Thanks for the chat, but it's time for us to head out," you said, standing up and giving them an apologetic smile. Jungkook guided you out of the room, and you could hear him muttering under his breath about how he was over all the baby talk.

As you walked out, you shot him a playful glare. "You know, you could've been a little more patient," you teased, knowing that he just wasn't a fan of all the chatter about babies and diapers.

Once you were outside and on your way to the car, Jungkook sighed in relief, happy to be leaving. "Next time, we're skipping the baby classes."

You chuckled, glancing over at Jungkook as you walked to the car. "They were nice, though," you said, trying to defend the couple. "They were just a little chatty."

Jungkook rolled his eyes with a small grin. "Nice, sure. But they were just ramblers, babe. All that talk about what the baby will need... It felt like a never-ending list." He shook his head, clearly relieved to be leaving. "I'm not about that life. Too much info."

You laughed, nudging him playfully. "Well, it's part of the whole experience. We're gonna have to deal with more of it, you know."

"I know, I know," Jungkook groaned. "But I'll survive. As long as I have you, I guess I'll learn about all the baby stuff eventually."

You smiled, knowing he was doing his best to be supportive, even if he wasn't exactly thrilled about it.

Jungkook opened the car door for you with a grin, holding it wide as you slid into the seat. As soon as you were in, he followed suit, getting in and stretching his arms above his head with a relieved sigh.

"Thank God that's over," he muttered, leaning back against the seat. "I'm just glad I don't have to hold that toy baby anymore. Felt like I was in a daycare instead of a pregnancy class." He smirked at you. "Maybe next time I'll pass on the whole 'baby wrapping' lesson."

You laughed, shaking your head at him. "Well, you did okay. Better than I thought you would, honestly."

Jungkook chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Of course, I'm a natural. I'd make a great dad, even with a fake baby."

You reached over, squeezing his hand. "I know you will. You'll be an amazing dad, even if you're not totally into the baby classes."

He gave you a teasing look, his smile softening. "As long as I'm not the one holding the baby doll every time, I think I'll be fine."

You walked into the house, feeling a bit drained from the day's events. The classes, the baby doll, and the awkward small talk had left you ready to relax. You collapsed onto the couch, letting out a sigh of relief as you stretched out.

Jungkook followed you, sitting beside you and gently placing your legs over his lap. He then started massaging your thighs, his touch surprisingly soothing after everything that had happened that day. You closed your eyes, letting the tension melt away with each gentle press of his fingers.

"You okay?" Jungkook asked, his voice soft as he worked on your muscles, his gaze focused on your legs.

You hummed in contentment, nodding. "Yeah, just a little tired. That class was a lot more exhausting than I thought."

He chuckled, his hands moving in slow circles. "I'm sure you were just tired from dealing with me more than anything." His teasing tone was light, but you could hear the affection in his voice.

"Maybe," you said with a small smile. "But also, I was holding my laughter in the whole time. Watching you try to play dad with that baby doll was priceless."

Jungkook let out a laugh, clearly not offended. "I know, I looked ridiculous, but hey, at least I tried. Can't say the same for you when it comes to holding a baby doll." He winked.

You rolled your eyes playfully, then relaxed further into the couch, allowing him to continue the massage. "I'll leave the baby-doll training to you, thanks."

Jungkook chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes as he continued massaging your thighs. "I can't get over how you scolded me, but... damn, you looked hot doing it," he said with a mischievous grin, clearly enjoying how flustered you had made him feel in the moment.

You raised an eyebrow at him, feeling your cheeks heat up slightly. "Oh really?" you replied, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "So, you think I looked hot while scolding you?"

He nodded, his grin widening. "Absolutely. You were all serious, and your face was so focused. I couldn't help but admire it. You're like... a fierce mom-to-be," he said, his voice low and teasing but with a warmth that made your heart flutter.

You rolled your eyes, though you couldn't hide the smile forming on your lips. "You're unbelievable," you muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed, but also touched by his compliment.

Jungkook chuckled, leaning down to kiss your cheek softly. "I mean it, though. You're so fucking sexy when you're serious. I'm lucky to have you."

His words made your heart skip a beat, and you couldn't help but smile up at him, feeling all the love and affection in the air between you two.

Two months had passed, and everything felt like it had fallen into place. You and Jungkook had fully settled into your new home, getting used to the routines, the space, and each other. The nursery, perfectly designed from the start, stood ready—sometimes you'd catch Jungkook just standing in there, admiring it, imagining your baby in the crib.

Jungkook had started taking on little habits—making you breakfast more often, massaging your feet without you even asking, and, of course, always finding an excuse to have his hands on your growing belly. It had become a nightly routine for him to lay beside you, talking to the baby, his voice full of warmth and excitement.

Everything felt perfect. You were comfortable, happy, and for the first time in a long time, you felt at peace.

Currently, you were getting ready to go out for dinner with Jungkook's parents, staring at yourself in the mirror while applying your makeup. Behind you, Jungkook was changing, fixing the sleeves of his shirt before walking over to stand behind you.

"You look good," he murmured, watching you through the reflection as his hands found your waist.

You rolled your eyes playfully. "I'm not even done yet."

Jungkook smirked, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your shoulder. "Doesn't matter. You could walk out like this, and they'd still think I'm the luckiest guy alive."

You felt warmth spread across your face at his words but quickly masked it with a scoff. "Stop trying to be cute and finish getting ready."

He sighed dramatically, stepping back and grabbing his watch from the dresser. "Remind me why we have to go again?"

You chuckled, applying your lip gloss. "Because they're your parents, and they invited us to dinner. You can't say no."

Jungkook groaned, rolling his eyes. "I could if you let me."

You turned to face him, placing a hand on your hip. "Jungkook."

"Fine, fine," he grumbled, walking over to grab his jacket. "But only because I get to show you off tonight."

You looked at your finished makeup in the mirror, admiring how you looked. You tried to be careful not to drop any powder on your clothes as you set your brush down.

Ever since moving in with Jungkook, you had started noticing a shift in your style—your outfits, your accessories, even the way you carried yourself. Maybe it was just you wanting to match his lifestyle, or maybe it was something in the air. Either way, you didn't mind.

Your hair was styled in soft curls, framing your face perfectly. Grabbing your bag, you turned around and stood up from your chair, facing Jungkook to show him your finished look.

Jungkook, who had been buttoning his cuff, looked up and immediately froze, his eyes dragging over your figure from head to toe. His lips parted slightly, but no words came out at first.

You smirked. "Well? Do I pass?"

Jungkook let out a low whistle, stepping toward you. "You're trying to kill me, aren't you?"

You rolled your eyes, chuckling. "We're literally just going to dinner."

He wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you closer. "Exactly. And now I have to sit through dinner trying not to think about how good you look in that dress."

You pushed at his chest playfully. "Stop it, we're gonna be late."

Jungkook sighed, stepping back with a dramatic groan. "Fine, fine. But just so you know—I'm keeping my eyes on you all night."

Smiling, you took his hand, leading him toward the door. "Come on, before your parents think we bailed."

As you both walked out the door, Jungkook grabbed the car keys, still sneaking glances at you as if he couldn't believe you were real. You felt his lingering stare even as you slid into the passenger seat, buckling your seatbelt.

"You act like you've never seen me dressed up before," you teased, watching him start the car.

Jungkook scoffed, shifting gears. "Not like this." His voice was lower, more serious, as he glanced at you once more before pulling out of the driveway.

The drive was smooth, filled with quiet conversation and the sound of the city passing by. Jungkook reached over to rest his hand on your thigh, absentmindedly rubbing circles on your skin as he drove. The gesture made your heart warm—small, intimate moments like this had become second nature between you two.

When you finally arrived at the restaurant, Jungkook parked the car and hurried around to open your door for you. You raised an eyebrow as he extended a hand to help you out.

"Since when are you such a gentleman?" you joked.

Jungkook smirked. "Since I realized I need to step up my game if I want to keep you."

You shook your head with a laugh, squeezing his hand. "You already have me, Jungkook."

His smile softened, but before he could respond, the sound of his parents' voices calling your names made you both turn. Letting out a breath, Jungkook leaned in close and whispered, "Alright, let's go charm my parents."

You smiled, squeezing his hand again before leading him inside.

As you both stepped into the restaurant, you adjusted your outfit slightly, smoothing down the fabric of your dress. The elegant black gown hugged your figure perfectly, making you feel both confident and comfortable. You caught Jungkook's lingering stare again, his eyes dark with admiration.

He leaned in, voice low. "Yeah... I'm definitely not going to be able to focus on dinner."

You nudged him playfully. "Behave."

Spotting his parents already seated at a table, you smiled and waved before walking over, Jungkook's hand resting on the small of your back. His mother's eyes immediately lit up as she saw you.

"Oh, Y/n! You look absolutely stunning," she gushed, standing up to greet you with a warm hug. His father nodded approvingly, smiling at the both of you.

"Thank you," you said politely, feeling a bit flustered at the attention.

Jungkook pulled out a chair for you before sitting beside you, his arm casually draping over the back of your chair as he greeted his parents. His mother smiled knowingly at the gesture but didn't comment, instead beginning to ask about how you both were settling into the new house.

As the conversation flowed, you felt Jungkook's fingers lightly tracing patterns on your back, his way of staying connected even while talking with his parents. You smiled to yourself, enjoying the warmth of the moment—everything felt perfect.

Jungkook's father took a sip of his drink before glancing at you with a kind smile. "So, Y/n, how far along are you now?"

You placed a hand on your belly instinctively, smiling. "I'm 30 weeks now. Just about ten more weeks to go."

Jungkook's mother gasped softly. "Oh my, time is flying! It feels like just yesterday we found out you were expecting."

Jungkook chuckled beside you, his hand now resting on your thigh. "Tell me about it. Feels like it's going by fast, but also so slow at the same time."

His father nodded. "That's how it always feels. But trust me, once the baby is here, time will fly even faster."

Jungkook's mother reached for your hand, squeezing it gently. "How are you feeling, dear? Any discomfort?"

You smiled warmly. "Honestly, it's been okay. I get tired easily, and my back sometimes hurts, but other than that, I can't complain too much."

Jungkook smirked. "She says that, but she's been making me massage her almost every night."

You gasped, nudging him playfully. "You act like you don't enjoy it."

His parents laughed at your banter, clearly enjoying seeing you both so comfortable with each other. Jungkook's mother sighed happily. "You two are going to be such wonderful parents."

Jungkook looked at you with a small smile before turning back to his parents. "Yeah... I think so too."

Jungkook's father leaned forward slightly, his interest piqued. "Have you two thought about any baby names yet?"

Jungkook let out a small laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. "Honestly? We've thrown some names around, but we hardly ever seriously think about it."

You nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's like... we know we should, but every time we start, we just end up getting distracted or saying 'we'll figure it out later.'"

Jungkook's mother chuckled. "That's understandable. Sometimes the perfect name doesn't come until you meet the baby."

Jungkook smirked. "Exactly. What if we name him something, and then he comes out looking like a completely different name?"

His father laughed. "Well, I suppose that's one way to think about it."

His mother, however, gave you a knowing look. "Still, it's good to have a few in mind. Have any of them stuck with you?"

You exchanged a glance with Jungkook before shrugging. "I kind of like names that are strong but not too common. Maybe something meaningful."

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, but nothing too complicated either. I don't want our kid struggling every time he has to spell his name."

His father grinned. "Smart thinking."

His mother sighed dreamily. "Well, whatever you choose, I'm sure it'll be perfect. I just can't wait to meet him."

You smiled at her warmth, feeling a little flutter in your stomach—not just from the baby moving, but from the realization that soon enough, you really would have to choose a name for your little boy.

Everyone chuckled as Jungkook's mother shared the story of his birth. "I didn't have the name Jungkook picked out until he was born. I just looked at him, and it felt right," she said, looking at her son with warmth in her eyes.

Jungkook, who had been trying to keep a straight face, couldn't help but smile awkwardly. He shifted in his seat, rubbing the back of his neck. "Mom, seriously? You're embarrassing me," he mumbled, a blush creeping onto his cheeks.

Jungkook's dad chuckled from across the table. "It's a good thing she named you Jungkook. Imagine being called something else," he teased, making Jungkook's face turn even redder.

You smiled at the moment, enjoying how the conversation brought everyone closer. It was easy to see how much love there was in his family, and it made you feel more at home than ever.

Jungkook shot you a playful glare, but you just giggled, squeezing his hand. "It's sweet. Your mom's just proud of you."

He sighed, still smiling. "Yeah, well, I guess I can't really complain. But please, no more embarrassing stories, okay?"

Everyone laughed again, the comfortable atmosphere making the night feel even more special.

Jungkook's hand rested gently on your stomach, his thumb lightly tracing circles over the fabric of your dress. He couldn't help but smile as he spoke to his parents, occasionally glancing down at your growing bump with a look of pure adoration. It was a quiet, tender moment between you two, even while the conversation continued around the table.

His parents noticed the way his hand never strayed far from your stomach, and his mother couldn't help but smile warmly at the sight. "It's hard to believe you're going to be a father soon, Jeon Jungkook," she said, her voice filled with affection.

Jungkook grinned, his eyes still focused on you. "Yeah, I know. Feels like it's happening way too fast, but I'm excited. I can't wait for our little one to arrive."

You squeezed his hand, feeling a sense of calm in the way he was so comfortable with you and the baby. Jungkook was always affectionate, but seeing him like this, so attentive and connected to your growing baby, made your heart swell.

His dad smiled, shaking his head. "You're going to be a great dad, son."

Jungkook chuckled, a bit shy. "Thanks, Dad. I hope so."

The warmth in the air was palpable, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for the supportive environment. Jungkook's hand never left your stomach, and in that moment, everything felt perfectly right.

As you sat there, watching Jungkook interact with his parents, you couldn't help but reflect on the way they always reassured him. It was clear they had a deep belief in his ability to be a good father, constantly reminding him that he was more than capable of handling the responsibility. It made your heart swell to see him in this environment, surrounded by love and encouragement.

You watched as his mom softly patted his arm, smiling lovingly at him. "You're going to be a wonderful father, Jungkook," she said, her voice warm and confident. "We can see it already."

His dad nodded, adding, "You've always had a good heart, and now you'll be sharing that with your child."

As much as Jungkook tried to deflect with a shy smile, you could see a flicker of appreciation in his eyes. He might not admit it out loud, but he needed to hear those words. You could tell it was comforting to him—validating his feelings and calming his nerves.

It made you think about how much he had grown, how far he'd come from the man he was when you first met. In the beginning, he was hesitant, unsure of how he could manage a relationship, let alone fatherhood. But now, surrounded by the warmth of his parents and his unwavering commitment to you and your baby, you saw a different side of him—a side that was ready, capable, and excited.

You couldn't help but smile to yourself, thinking how lucky your baby was to have him as a father. You knew, deep down, that Jungkook would be more than just a "good father." He was going to be a great one, and that realization filled you with warmth and peace.

As the food finally arrived, Jungkook was quick to grab the soup spoon, his eyes locked on you as he scooped up a generous amount and brought it toward your mouth. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at how over-the-top he was being. "Jungkook, I can feed myself, you know," you said, trying to hide your smile.

But before you could say anything more, he was already gently tilting the spoon toward your lips. "I know, but I'm just making sure you're taken care of," he said with a grin, as if he were a knight in shining armor.

You sighed dramatically, but the warmth in your heart couldn't deny how sweet it was. You took the spoonful, not wanting to argue about it anymore. "You're ridiculous," you muttered, but the playful smile on your face said it all.

His mother, who had been watching the interaction with a fond smile, couldn't help but chuckle. "Jungkook, stop treating her like a child," she teased, shaking her head as she laughed. "She's grown up now. Let her eat on her own."

Jungkook looked at her, a little embarrassed, but still grinning. "She's my girl," he said, shrugging as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "I just want to take care of her."

His mother laughed again, nodding affectionately. "I know, but you don't need to pamper her this much."

You smirked, enjoying the banter, but your heart was soft as you looked at Jungkook. It was moments like these, filled with tenderness and care, that made you realize just how much he truly cared for you. And as much as you teased him for it, you secretly adored how much he loved looking after you.

Jungkook's pampering had definitely reached another level these past few months. Every time he came home, it felt like he had a new surprise for you—designer bags, expensive gifts, and flowers that never seemed to stop arriving at your door. You were constantly surrounded by thoughtful gestures, and it made you feel like a princess.

He'd come in with a big grin, always holding a box or a bouquet of flowers in his hands, his eyes lighting up as if he couldn't wait to see your reaction. "I thought you'd like this," he'd say, offering you the latest surprise, whether it was a gorgeous handbag or a set of fine jewelry, or sometimes something more personal, like a handpicked bouquet of flowers from a garden.

The way he spoiled you made you feel cherished, loved, and special. At times, you'd sit there, surrounded by all the things he bought you, feeling a little overwhelmed by it all, wondering how you ever deserved such kindness and care.

"You really don't have to keep doing this," you'd say, teasing him a little, but inside you were always touched. You didn't want to come across as ungrateful, but you didn't need all the gifts to feel loved. He just smiled, as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

"I know, but I want to spoil you. You deserve it," he'd reply, brushing a strand of hair out of your face, his voice soft and affectionate.

You couldn't help but smile at how thoughtful he was. It wasn't about the price tags or the luxury. It was the fact that he took the time to think of you, to make you feel loved in every way he could. You didn't just feel like a princess from all the gifts, but because of the way he treated you every single day.

Even on the days when you told him not to spoil you so much, he would give you a cheeky grin, clearly not listening, but still spoiling you anyway.

Even on his 25th birthday, Jungkook couldn't help but shower you with love and pampering, despite your insistence that the day was all about him. You had been planning to treat him to a special day—dinner at his favorite place, a cake you baked just for him, and a few gifts you carefully picked out.

But, of course, Jungkook had other ideas.

The morning of his birthday, he showed up at your door with a bouquet of flowers and a designer box, which he handed to you with a grin. "Happy birthday, baby," he said, looking at you with sparkling eyes. "But first, I have a surprise for you."

You laughed, shaking your head. "Jungkook, it's your birthday. You're supposed to be the one getting pampered."

He smirked, clearly enjoying how much you protested, but he wasn't listening to your plea. "I know, but I'm getting my treat from you later. For now, let me spoil you." He handed you a stunning necklace, something that was both elegant and simple, just your style. "I've been thinking about this for a while," he said softly, placing the necklace around your neck, his hands gentle.

You felt your heart swell, your words caught in your throat as you reached up to touch it. "Jungkook, you didn't have to. This is too much."

But he just smiled, that familiar mischievous glint in his eyes. "I wanted to. You deserve everything, and I'm going to give it to you, no matter what."

Despite your protests, he had his way. The whole day, he made sure you were comfortable, always checking if you needed anything, pampering you just as much as you were trying to pamper him. He even managed to sneak in little gifts here and there, making you feel like his birthday was the least important thing on his mind when it came to making sure you felt cared for.

When it was time for his birthday dinner, you made sure to finally give him his gifts—though he wasn't done giving his surprises just yet. As you both sat down, laughing over dinner, he leaned in and whispered, "Now it's my turn to spoil you."

And so, the whole day became a blend of both of you spoiling each other, but no matter what, Jungkook made sure the focus was on making you feel loved. You realized, once again, that it wasn't about the grand gestures or the extravagant gifts—it was the thought and care behind everything, and that was what made you feel so incredibly special.

The dinner had been going wonderfully, filled with laughter, lighthearted conversation, and delicious food. It had been a relaxing evening, just what you needed. Jungkook had kept his hand on your stomach throughout most of the meal, occasionally rubbing your back or adjusting your seat to make sure you were comfortable. His parents were warm and welcoming, as always, and you could tell they were just as excited about the baby as you and Jungkook were.

As the evening came to an end, everyone stood up from the table, exchanging hugs. You walked over to Jungkook's parents, giving his mom a warm embrace first. "Thank you so much for a lovely evening," you said, your smile sincere. "I really enjoyed it."

His mom hugged you tightly, kissing your cheek. "Of course, dear. We're so happy to have you in our family. And we're beyond excited about the little one. You're going to be a wonderful mother."

You felt a wave of warmth wash over you at her kind words, the reassurance of her support making you feel at ease. You moved to Jungkook's father next, who gave you a hearty hug, his embrace firm but gentle. "Take care of yourself, okay? We're here for you both, always."

"Thank you," you replied softly, feeling truly grateful for their kindness and love.

Jungkook stood nearby, watching the exchanges with a smile on his face. His parents really did mean a lot to him, and seeing them so happy for the both of you made his heart swell. He turned to you and gave your hand a gentle squeeze.

"Let's head out, yeah?" Jungkook said, smiling at his parents. "We'll see you at home."

As you both waved goodbye and made your way toward the car, you couldn't help but feel content. The night had gone perfectly, and everything felt like it was falling into place. Jungkook was right by your side, his hand holding yours, and you couldn't wait to head home to unwind and enjoy the quiet night together.

The crisp autumn air hit you like a ton of bricks as you stepped outside, the coldness of the night sky making you shiver slightly. Despite it being late—around 10 PM—there was no escaping the chill, and it seemed like the temperature had dropped quickly after the sun had set. You and Jungkook hurried to his car, trying to shield yourselves from the biting wind.

Jungkook, noticing how cold you were, immediately wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer to him as you both quickened your pace. "Come on, let's get inside the car. I don't want you catching a cold," he murmured, his voice soft but protective.

You smiled up at him, grateful for the warmth he was providing. Once you both got inside the car, Jungkook turned the engine on, cranking up the heat as you settled into the comfortable leather seats. The warmth immediately filled the car, and you let out a sigh of relief, glancing at Jungkook. "Thanks," you said softly, your voice filled with appreciation.

Jungkook just smiled, keeping his eyes on the road as he pulled away from the restaurant. "Anything for you, babe," he replied, his tone light but affectionate.

It had become a normal routine for you to end the day curled up in bed, wearing a cozy oversized hoodie, binge-watching TV while snacking on whatever you were craving. Jungkook, although not always thrilled about your habit of eating before bed—especially the unhealthy snacks—had learned to just accept it.

He'd tried a few times to gently suggest healthier options, but after witnessing one of your mood swings when he dared to take away your late-night snack, he quickly realized it wasn't worth the risk. Now, he just sighed, shook his head, and let you do what made you happy.

Tonight was no different. You were sitting cross-legged on the bed, a bag of chips and sweets in your lap, completely focused on the show playing on the screen. Jungkook, fresh out of the shower, leaned against the doorway, arms crossed as he watched you with a small smirk.

"You're really gonna eat that whole bag, huh?" he teased.

You turned to him, narrowing your eyes. "Do you wanna sleep peacefully tonight or do you wanna argue?"

He chuckled, raising his hands in surrender. "Nope, you win. Enjoy your snacks, princess."

Smiling in victory, you patted the space beside you. "Good answer. Now come cuddle me."

With a small laugh, Jungkook shook his head but climbed into bed anyway, wrapping an arm around you as you both settled in for the night.

By now, you were heavily pregnant, and your appetite had completely changed. You ate way more than you normally did, even though you always knew you'd regret it later when the morning sickness hit. But tonight? That didn't stop you. It never did.

You were curled up in bed with an assortment of snacks spread out in front of you, munching away happily while Jungkook sat beside you, watching in amusement.

"You do realize you're gonna complain about this in the morning, right?" he asked, raising a brow.

You waved him off, popping another piece of chocolate in your mouth. "That's a problem for future me. Right now, this is the best thing ever."

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head as he pulled you closer. "You're lucky I love you."

You grinned, resting your head on his shoulder. "I know."

Jungkook had always been big on staying healthy and keeping a strict diet, but ever since he put boxing on hold to take care of you, he had been extra persistent about it. He tried to introduce healthier alternatives into your meals, sometimes even sneaking them in without telling you.

He had also attempted to get you to work out with him a couple of times, claiming it would help with the pregnancy. But after just a few minutes of stretching, you gave up, slumping onto the floor while he continued his routine.

So instead, you resorted to sitting on your yoga ball, bouncing lazily as you watched him work out. "This counts as exercise, right?" you had asked once, making him pause mid-push-up to give you a deadpan look.

"Not even close, baby."

You had only rolled your eyes, continuing to bounce while munching on some fruit he had cut up for you.

Either way, even though Jungkook never fully got through to you about keeping a strict diet, he still admired that you at least tried—well, barely. He had long accepted that you weren't about to give up your cravings, and honestly, he found it endearing.

He loved the way you binge-ate snacks while curled up on the couch, completely immersed in whatever show you were watching. He loved how you would sit on your yoga ball, pretending it was a full workout while watching him train. He even loved your random mood swings, even if they sometimes left him confused or apologizing for things he didn't understand.

To him, it was all just part of the experience—part of loving you, part of preparing to be parents. No matter what, he wouldn't change a single thing.

Jungkook was lost in his thoughts, admiring you as you focused on the TV, completely unaware of his gaze. He was about to say something when his phone suddenly rang, breaking the comfortable silence.

He glanced at the caller ID, and his face immediately lit up with surprise and excitement. "No way," he muttered before answering.

"Duri? Yah, is this really you?" he said, a wide grin spreading across his face as he sat up straighter.

You turned your head slightly, pretending not to be nosy, but the way his entire mood shifted—his eyes crinkling as he laughed, the way he leaned forward in interest—made you curious. You had never heard him mention a Duri before.

Who was this person? And better yet, what were they talking about that had him so happy?

You could only catch on to what Jungkook was saying:

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?""No, yeah, that's completely fine.""Tomorrow?!""No, you're no bother to us.""See you soon."

He ends the call, still smiling slightly, but as he turns back toward you, his expression shifts when he notices your stare—sharp and questioning.

"Who was that?" you ask, arms crossed over your belly.

Jungkook hesitates for a second, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh... Duri. An old friend."

Your brows raise slightly. "And?"

"She's in town for a business trip and asked if she could stay for a couple of days," he says, his voice casual, as if he hadn't just dropped something completely unexpected on you.

You blink. "Stay? Here?"

Jungkook nods slowly. "Yeah... just for a few days. It's not a big deal."

You tilt your head, your jaw tightening. "Did she ask about me?"

Jungkook shifts slightly. "Uh... I didn't really bring it up."

Silence.

Your stomach feels heavy, but not from the baby—this was something else. "So, let me get this straight," you say, your tone dangerously calm. "You agreed to let some girl stay here—without even mentioning that you live with someone? That your pregnant girlfriend lives here?"

Jungkook exhales, reaching out, but you lean back slightly, making him drop his hands. "Babe, it wasn't like that," he says quickly. "It was a short call. She needed a place, and I said yes. I was gonna tell her—"

"When?" you cut in. "When she showed up at the door with her suitcase?"

Jungkook sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Look, I'll call her back and tell her. I wasn't hiding you or anything, it just... didn't come up."

You stare at him for a moment, then shake your head with a scoff. "Yeah. You better tell her."

"I will," he assures, nodding quickly.

Still feeling a tightness in your chest, you push yourself off the couch. "I need some air."

"Y/n—"

"I'll be back," you say simply, grabbing your phone and heading for the door.

Jungkook watches you go, jaw clenching as he pulls out his phone. Jungkook sighed, staring down at his phone as he debated what to say. He knew this was probably one of your mood swings, but at the same time... was it?

Now that he really thought about it, why hadn't he mentioned you? There was no real reason—at least, not one he could think of. It wasn't like he was hiding you. He wasn't ashamed or trying to be sneaky. It just... didn't come up.

But now, seeing your reaction, he felt conflicted. If the roles were reversed, if you had just casually agreed to let some old guy friend stay over without mentioning him, he knew he wouldn't have liked it either.

Jungkook walked downstairs, feeling a mix of guilt and confusion. He found you in the kitchen, your back turned as you fiddled with the kettle, the soft sound of boiling water filling the air. He hesitated for a moment, watching you, before he took a deep breath and stepped closer.

"Y/n..." His voice was softer than usual, careful, as though he wasn't sure how to approach you.

You glanced over your shoulder at him, a small smile tugging at your lips, but it didn't quite reach your eyes. "Hey, you okay?"

Jungkook leaned against the counter, crossing his arms, still unsure of how to explain. "Yeah, just... I don't know, I feel like I messed up."

You raised an eyebrow. "Messed up how?"

He scratched the back of his neck, clearly uneasy. "I should've mentioned Duri earlier. I didn't mean to hide anything from you. I just—" He paused, taking a step closer. "I guess it didn't seem important at the time."

You stared at him for a long moment, your fingers gripping the edge of the counter as you processed what he said. "So who is she, really? And why's she coming here?"

Jungkook took a deep breath, stepping toward you. "She's an old friend. We've known each other for years. She's coming for work, and she just asked if she could stay for a few days since she's in town for meetings. That's all."

You stared at him, your gaze unreadable. "And you didn't think to mention it before?"

"I should've," he admitted, his voice a little more serious now. "I'm sorry, y/n. It's not like I was hiding anything from you, I just... didn't think it was a big deal."

There was a long silence, the air tense as you looked at him. You hadn't expected this, and a part of you felt a little irrationally hurt that he hadn't told you sooner. But, seeing the way he looked at you, you could tell he wasn't trying to be sneaky.

Finally, you sighed, putting down the mug of tea you had been preparing. "Okay... I get it. Just... next time, keep me in the loop, alright?"

Jungkook nodded quickly, walking toward you. "Of course. I should've been more upfront." He gently took your hands in his. "I really didn't mean to make you feel left out."

You looked up at him, your eyes softening. "I know. Just... don't make a habit of it, okay?"

He smiled, relieved. "Promise."

You pulled him into a hug, your arms wrapping around his neck. "I'll try not to be jealous," you teased.

Jungkook chuckled, holding you tighter. "I'll try not to give you a reason to be."

Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. If he were given money every time he made you shout, mad, or jealous, he'd probably be drowning in cash by now. He knew his playful teasing and sometimes clueless behavior triggered you, but deep down, he loved how passionate you were.

One day, as he noticed you glaring at him after one of his little jabs, he smirked and said, "Guess I'm on my way to becoming a millionaire soon, huh?"

You crossed your arms, trying to hold back a smile. "Oh, you have no idea. I could retire early at this rate."

Jungkook laughed, pulling you close. "I don't know if I'm ready to handle all that money. It's a lot of responsibility."

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help the smile creeping up. "Yeah, right. You're just making up excuses so you can keep teasing me."

"Maybe," he grinned, "but I'll make sure you get a little cut. You deserve it for putting up with me."

You snorted, shaking your head. "The only thing I deserve is a break from your nonsense."

Jungkook kissed the top of your head, holding you close. "Deal. But just so you know, I enjoy every second of making you mad. It's kind of cute."

You punched him playfully. "Don't get too cocky."

Jungkook carefully lifted you in his arms, his grip strong and gentle as he carried you to the bedroom. You felt safe and comforted in his embrace, especially as he helped you change into your nightgown—a  short silky, lace-trimmed satin piece that flowed delicately over your body.

The gown, with its soft fabric and intricate lace details, was both elegant and comfortable, the perfect choice for winding down. Jungkook admired you quietly as he adjusted the straps, his eyes soft with affection as he traced the lace trim. He couldn't help but notice how stunning you looked, even in something so simple.

Once you were dressed, he pulled the covers up to your chin, making sure you were comfortable. "You look beautiful," he murmured, brushing his hand across your cheek as you settled into the bed.

You smiled up at him, your heart full. "Thank you, Kook. You're always so sweet." He kissed your forehead, his love for you shining through in his every gesture as you drifted off to sleep in his arms.

The soft light of the morning streamed through the window, gently waking you up. You stretched and yawned, still feeling cozy in the warmth of the bed. As you rubbed your eyes, you noticed Jungkook in the corner of the room, already pulling on his workout clothes, preparing for his morning routine.

He glanced over at you, his face lighting up with a smile. "Good morning, babe," he said, his voice low and soft. "You want to join me for a workout today?"

You shook your head, still feeling the comfort of the bed tugging at you. "Not this time, Kook. Maybe tomorrow," you said, your voice still a little sleepy but affectionate.

Jungkook chuckled and walked over to give you a quick kiss on your forehead. "Alright, get some rest. I'll be downstairs in the gym if you need me," he said before heading out of the room.

You smiled as you watched him leave, feeling content and grateful for the morning. As the sound of his footsteps faded, you settled back into the bed, enjoying the peacefulness before starting the day.

You sat up quickly, a wave of nausea hitting you all at once. Your stomach churned, and before you could process it, you rushed to the bathroom, barely making it in time. You leaned over the sink, your body convulsing as you emptied your stomach.

After a few moments, you slowly stood up, wiping your mouth and taking deep breaths to calm yourself. The morning sickness was becoming harder to ignore, and it seemed to strike at random times, catching you off guard.

You leaned against the sink for a moment, trying to steady yourself, before walking back to the bedroom. You made your way to the dresser and grabbed some water, taking a sip to rehydrate. It was becoming a routine you hated, but there was nothing you could do about it.

As you took a deep breath, you heard Jungkook's footsteps coming up the stairs. He knocked lightly on the door, his voice concerned. "Babe, you okay?" he called out softly.

You forced a smile, trying to keep your tone light. "Yeah, just a little rough morning," you said, though you knew he'd be able to tell you weren't feeling great.

The door opened, and Jungkook stepped in, his eyes immediately scanning you for any signs that something was wrong. "You sure? Do you need anything?" His concern was evident, and despite the discomfort, it warmed your heart.

You nodded slowly. "Just a bit of water, and maybe a little rest. I'll be fine, Kook. Promise."

Jungkook walked over, gently brushing your hair back from your face. "Alright, but if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll take care of you," he said, giving you a reassuring smile. "Rest up. I'll make breakfast after my workout."

You nodded, feeling a sense of relief knowing he was there, ready to help.

You slowly made your way downstairs, trying to ignore the lingering nausea and the regret from the night before. Your stomach was still uneasy, but you felt thirsty, and the idea of a warm cup of tea was the only thing that seemed somewhat comforting right now.

As you walked into the kitchen, the smell of Jungkook's protein shake and the sound of weights clanging from the gym downstairs reached your ears. You tried to shake off the discomfort and focused on making your tea, hoping it would settle your stomach.

You opened the cabinet, finding your favorite tea bags and setting the kettle to boil. While you waited, you leaned against the counter, trying to breathe deeply and keep yourself from feeling too dizzy. The morning sickness had been persistent lately, and you just wanted a moment of relief.

Once the water was ready, you carefully poured it into your mug, the steam rising from the cup in front of you. You sat at the kitchen table, holding the tea between your hands and savoring the warmth, even though your stomach was still unsettled.

You knew you had to be careful, but you couldn't ignore how much you missed feeling like yourself. You were tired of the constant wave of sickness and discomfort, but you also knew that it was just part of this journey.

The tea helped, a little. It was soothing, at least for now. You closed your eyes for a moment, letting the warmth of the tea soothe you, when suddenly, a knock on the door broke your calm. You blinked, the sudden interruption pulling you back into reality, and placed the cup down on the counter.

Walking towards the door, you couldn't shake the feeling of unease building up in your stomach. When you opened it, you were taken aback by the sight of a woman standing there. She was holding a small suitcase, and her gaze met yours with a mix of uncertainty and something else you couldn't quite place.

"Hi..." she began, her voice soft, yet firm. "I'm Duri. I was told I could stay here for a few days."

You froze, eyes widening. Your mind went blank for a second. Duri? The name sounded too familiar, and your heart sank as you connected the dots.  She shifted uncomfortably, waiting for a response, while your mind scrambled to make sense of the situation.
