Chapter 20

Forth's POV:

Beam and i were on his room, [ i practically live here hehehe ] we were both having our own time to read our lecture notes. Tomorrow is the last day of our exams but Beam still has exams until the day after. Why do they have so many exams to take?

I want to cuddle him right now but i know his going to smack me for disturbing him. [ i kissed him on his forehead a while ago and he pinched my tummy and told me to go away 😣]

It makes me smile like an idiot because whenever i glance at him he is staring at the sheets like they are criminals. He's so cute when he does that.

Oyy Forth! You have to focus on reviewing instead of ogling at your Bee or else your answer to all the questions for tomorrow will be 'Beam...Baby...Bee..Wifey..ect.' And he would skin you alive if you fail. 😅😅

Being with Beam was all i ever wanted since the moment my heartbeat changed for this guy. I never knew he was this broken and i'm glad that it was me who Beam is with now.

I know he wakes up at around midnight sometimes and stares at me. I don't know what he's thinking when he do that but i think that he's worried that maybe i would leave him one day, so as much as i can, i assure him that i won't leave. I just don't want him to know that i know he does that.

Sometimes, i would catch him zone out while staring right at me and he doesn't realize that. I didn't know what it means before but now i know. It's either he's sad or he's hungry.

Like right now, i feel him staring at me again.

"What's the matter Babe?" I ask because he won't avert his eyes and i'm getting worried.

"Nothing."

He says nothing but he is grinning at me.

Sigh.

I think i know what's wrong.

"You're hungry again aren't you?"

"Oyy! It was two hours ago when we last ate. 😡" Okay, now he's upset because i notice his eating habits again.

I glanced at the clock. It was thirty minutes past eleven now. Good thing there's a nearby seven eleven around this building.

"Okay, hold on, i will go down and buy you food." I got up and took my phone and wallet and headed for the door. Then i hear him running towards me.

"I'm coming with you!"

This guy will be taking so much chips again and its not good for his body and moreover he's so lazy with doing workout and would rather sleep all day.

Then i noticed what he's wearing. I looked at him from foot to head.

"Change your pants first."

"What? Why?" He looked down on what he's wearing.

"Too short. I can see your knees."

"So?"

[ so you think i will let others see your skin from the knees up? No way.]

"It's cold outside." I don't think he buys my reason and just narrows his eyes at me.

"......"

"Then let's just not buy snacks -

"Alright! Alright! God! you're a pain!" He grumbled as he stomped towards his closet to get a new pair of longer pants. I win this time 😅

I notice him eating so much food these past few days. But it was a good thing, he needs to gain a little weight because he was so light and thin when i carried him when he was drunk.

"You happy now?!" Did i ever tell you that he looks so cute when he glares at me? That's why i like teasing him. "Come on!" He yanked my arm out of the room. It seems my baby is really hungry. 😅

*"P'Forth! P'Beam!"

Someone called us from outside when we were at the lobby. It was Ming. He was carrying big bags of chips and and a box of that red chocolate wafer he likes to eat so much.

"Ai'Beam! Ai'Forth! Where are you - there you are! what took you so long?!"

Someone interrupted before we even greeted Ming. It was Kit who just got down from the stairs. His eyes are narrowed just like Beam's. They're really best friends, both grumpy when hungry.

"Oh P. I forgot to buy something so i went back to the store."

"And what is it? You were so confident with your list and you still forget something." Both his arms were on his waist. I notice him always doing that when he's annoyed.

Ming wriggles his eyebrows before answering. "Balloons."

Ai'Kit stopped for a minute before turning crimson red. I was surprised by my junior's boldness but i didn't show it. Beam on the other hand laughed so hard he had to hold on to me to balance himself. Kit almost smacked him but Beam hid behind me quickly.

"And now you keep teasing me i'm the one who's pregnant 😂 wait till Ai'Pha hears about this!"

"Uuugggghhh!!" Ai'Kit stomped back towards his room leaving the three of us in the lobby. Ming bid us goodbye as he was running to catch Kit before he locks the door.

Beam's POV:

"Why do you like teasing them so much?!" Forth asked as we were walking to the store to buy snacks.

He was asking about my relationship with my two best friends. We just encountered Kit and Ming at the entrance. Those two are a weird pair. Kit always shows his grumpy side with Ming when we are around but i know he's different when it's just them. That sneaky bastard.

"They also drive me crazy when they get the chance. We're all the same."

We were walking side by side by the road. There were no much cars passing by since students don't go out because like us, they were studying for exams.

I know he wants to hold my hand or put his arms around my shoulder but he's not doing it because he knows I'm not comfortable with skinship in public.

We got in the store and i went to where the chips are left him by the drinks. I know he's looking at the cigarettes displayed there. I also know he's trying hard not to smoke again and it makes me happy that he's keeping his promise but sometimes it makes me feel bad to forbid him from smoking but it's for his own good right? I want to have him around for a long time. [Don't tell him i said that.]

I was busy picking chips when i heard that voice that i didn't know i hated until now.

"P'Forth!"

Why does she sound so flirty?! 😒

I stopped picking chips and turned around. But they wouldn't see me because a shelf of chips are hiding me from them, but i can see them from the spaces on the racks.

I see Forth only gave her a smile.

"You're here alone P?"

She likes to twist her body so much eh? Was she some kind of a twisty candy in her past life? 😑

"No. I'm with someone." Forth looked awkward talking to her. Well he better be or he'll be sleeping outside if i see him talking to her like he's also flirting with her.

"With your friend P?"

Stop flashing your teeth woman! There's no photoshoot here.

"Yeah. Something like that."

"I didn't know you live around my dorm building P? We could go together after your friend buys snacks."

I think i should step out now.

"You got everything ready?" I asked as if i wasn't watching them just now.

N'Lin was surprised when she saw me. Maybe i wasn't the one she was expecting Forth to be with.

"Yeah. I'll go pay them." Forth took my bag of chips to the counter and paid them while i was left with N'Lin.

"P'Beam, I didn't know you were close to P'Forth."

Looks like she's also flirting with me.

"Yeah. We're closer than you think." I flashed her a smile.

I was going to say more but asshole Forth pulled me out of the store.

"Man I'm so tired i think i need to hibernate!" Ai'Kit whines as he stretches his back left and right.

"Ai'Kit let me come with you na!" 😵 i think i need to get some rest after this day.

"Let's do a weekend getaway."

Both me and Ai'Kit turned to Ai'Pha.

"That's not a bad idea. What do you think Beam?"

Now they're both looking at me. I know why. I don't go out on Saturdays remember? So they're asking me because this weekend vacation will only push through if i decide. Bless these two persons for being so considerate of me.

"Sure. We'll go."

I know they were a bit surprised. They were expecting me to just tell them to enjoy themselves.

I really don't want to go out on Saturday.

But i still agreed to their plan because i want to do it for Forth. This guy has been so patient of my mood swings and he deserves a vacation instead of just hanging out with me in my apartment on Saturdays. We all deserve to have a good relaxation after that tiring week.

They both got their phones out and messaged their boyfriends. I won't message Forth though. I'm going to tell him in person. I brought my car today and i think it's my turn to pick him up from school.

The three of us had our separate ways after we agreed to go head out on Saturday. Its just Thursday today so we still have time to plan the whole thing tomorrow.

I pull up near the main building of the Engineering faculty. There are still a lot of students in here but i don't see those students with blue work shirts. They must still be in class.

I stepped out of the car wearing my pair of sunglasses as i don't want other students noticing that I'm waiting for someone. Right?

I guess i still have charm since some of the women who pass by giggles when they look at me. Oh boy! 😂

I was having a nice time waiting when my eyes caught someone. And this someone changes my mood.

That freshman star.

"Whoa! Look at her! She's very pretty right?!"These students talking about her caught my attention.

"And very sexy. Her boyfriend must be so lucky!" Another one said.

"She doesn't have a boyfriend yet! -

Why is it that whenever i come here to see Forth i also see her too? Chemical Engineering's building is a bit far from this building. Is she ..

- i hear she's trying to get the Sophomore Moon to date her. You know Forth, the next hazing leader."

I knew it. 😒

"She's so out of our league man. We can't beat a campus moon and the future boss of the hazing team."

I shouldn't have come here.

I see a bunch of guys in blue shirts walk from the main building. Forth stands out among them as he was the first person who came into my vision.

I also see that freshman star running towards Forth.

"Look at them. They look like a perfect couple."

Sigh.

I really shouldn't have come here.

They're right. They do look perfect for each other.

I went inside my car and drove away.
