Day 9. 18

04:27, 11 May 2020

Mark sniffed his nose and went to his bathroom. He took a shower and dressed himself in an oversized hoodie and briefs. He took some cereal and milk and placed them in a bowl. He sat down and started eating his food.

He sneezed and grabbed a napkin and blew his nose. He tried to continue eating his cereal, but couldn't do so as he kept on sneezing and blowing his nose. Mark touched his forehead and felt it. It felt hot and Mark instantly knew he had a fever.

He grabbed his phone and called Jinyoung. He called the other, but he didn't answer. He called the other three more times, but Jinyoung didn't pick up. He sighed and went to his living room and started watching Netflix. He looked at his continue watching list and saw the show him and Jackson had started watching.

As he thought of Jackson, the image of him and Jojo kissing flashed through Mark's mind and the other felt like crying. He wanted to cry, but couldn't. He decided going out would do him some good. He had a craving for coffee, so he decided on going to the coffee shop he had seen Jackson in for the first time after 11 years.

He went to his room and dressed in a black turtle neck along with some black ripped jeans with a black oversized sweater. He grabbed a black cap and a black face mask with some black Balenciaga shoes. He grabbed his bag swinging it over his shoulder.

He walked to the coffee shop and ordered his drink. He waited for it and once he got it he went to sit down and started reading a book on his phone. He continued drinking his coffee and was enjoying himself. He heard the door jingle as it was being opened, but he paid no mind to it until he heard Bambam's voice. He internally panicked and started cleaning after himself. He hurriedly placed his face mask on and threw away the paper cup. He grabbed his bag and decided on going to buy some groceries and medicine he needed.

Mark felt happy as he didn't see Jackson anywhere and Bambam, Yugyeom, and Youngjae hadn't recognized him. He felt accomplished as he was making it to the door. He wasn't looking where he was going and felt himself bump into someone. His cap came off and a strong wind hit Mark's face. His bum hurt as he had landed on the floor. He was going to stand up until he heard Jackson.

"M-Mark?"

Mark looked up and saw Jackson looking down at him. The other moved to try to help him stand up, but Mark only moved away from him. Jackson saw the hurt flash through Mark's eyes and felt horrible with himself for it.

Mark got up and grabbed his cap without saying anything to Jackson. He was about to walk away when he felt the other grab his wrist.

"Mark please don't go. I want to talk things out with you."

Mark felt a bit of hope go through his body, but then he sighed as he remembered why he was sad in the first place.

"Jackson there's nothing for us to talk about."

"Yes there is."

"No there isn't. Let me go you're causing a scene."

"I'm causing a scene? You're the one that ran out of the orphanage yesterday."

"What the fuck did you want me to do! You had your tongue down her throat, of course, I didn't want to talk to you!"

"You could've let me explain myself. Instead of running away like a coward."

Mark felt shocked at what Jackson had said. Jackson seems shocked as well and let go of Mark's wrist.

"Mark I-."

"Don't Jackson. Just be grateful we're talking in Mandarin and no one can understand this conversation. If you really think that about me fine."

Mark turned around and turned the corner. He felt his eyes get filled with tears and he wiped them off. He walked and walked until he didn't know where he was. He looked around and saw he was at the Market he and Jackson had eaten. He went around and bought some vegetables. He paid for everything and walked back to his apartment taking his groceries and medication with him.

He walked to his hotel and felt confused as he saw someone standing in front of his hotel room. He continued walking cautiously and once he was close enough to see the person he felt shook to see who he saw.

Mark felt his heart start to beat faster. He walked toward his room door as he still wasn't sure if he was really seeing who he thought he was seeing.

Once he was close enough to his door Mark felt his hands go weak and he dropped his groceries. The other person looked up and walked towards him picking up the bags. The person hugged him and Mark hugged him back still in shock.

"J-j-Jinyoung? What are you doing here?
