CHAPTER 6: "War"

INT. SEERS HUT- KATTEGAT- SEVERAL DAYS LATER

The battle between the sons of Ragnar rages on- sounds of war and the screams of the dying can be heard from both outside and from within the walls of Kattegat.

Mara sits in the seer's hut, away from the fighting- but seeing and hearing all.

Visions from the beginning repeat- visions which led her here to Kattegat; to the sons of Ragnar; to the supposed end of days.

A flash- a quick bang. Light. Blinding light.

A woman in white takes a step into the unknown.

A family of noble beasts await the slaughter.

The night sky. Darkness again, always darkness.

Running through the darkened forest- a wolf smelling blood, a carrion smelling death.

Fire. Ashes. A funeral pyre. An execution. A sacrifice. A man burns.

Blood. War. Ragnorak.
