CHAPTER 42

NEXT DAY...

Just like what Yuri told her yesterday,Chaewon followed Yuri at the student council's room.

'I'm here at the rooftop,love.'

Chaewon receive the text from Yuri.

She immediately went to the rooftop where Yuri is.

'Now,tell me,what is it you want to say? I still have class to attend in.'

'You don't have to attend that class..Here.Read this.' Yuri handed something to Chaewon.

'What is this?' Chaewon said,wondering what Yuri gave her.

'Open it.'

Chaewon opened the envelope..

And...

It says...

'CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU'RE ACCEPTED AS A MEMBER OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL.'

'Yuri,is this one of your pranks again?' Chaewon asked,believing it's one of Yuri's pranks again.

'No,it's not.Why would I joke about that?' Yuri defends herself.

'You're not pranking me again,don't you?' Chaewon asked again.

'I'm not.That's really true.' Yuri answered.

'Are you the one who asked them to do this?' Chaewon asked.

'Yes,I did.That's the only way to save you from being bombarded by many assignments...' Yuri said.

'No,I can't accept this.' Chaewon denied.

'It can't be taken back now.I have been exerting effort just for this.So accept it for me,love.' Yuri said.

'You? Alone?'

Yuri nodded.

'So please accept it for me,love...' Yuri pleads Chaewon to accept it.

'Uhmm...Okay,I'll accept it for you...' Chaewon said.

'Really?'

Chaewon nodded.

'Thank you,love...' Yuri exclaimed,hugging Chaewon so tightly.

'It hurts...' Chaewon said,breaking the hug.

'So this is what Yena and Minju meant by saying you had been busy doing something for me?' Chaewon uttered.

'W-What do you mean by that?' Yuri who was confused said.

'Before they left,they said something to me.That you've been busy doing something.' Chaewon answered.

'Those two,really...I told them to not tell you..' Yuri said,those two will be in danger later.

'Still,thank you for this,love.' Chaewon said,feeling grateful to Yuri.

'That was nothing.Let's go now.'

Yuri entered the student council room with Chaewon.

They see Chaeyeon and Hitomi with Yena and Minju.

'I won't introduce them to you since you already knew them yesterday.' Yuri said to Chaewon.

'Chaeyeon,Hitomi.I'm leaving her with you.You two,follow me.We have something to talk about.' Yuri leave Chaewon to them,and grabbed Yena and Minju with her.

'Did you two told Chaewon about what I'm planning?' Yuri asked.

'No,we didn't...' Yena and Minju denied.

Yuri smacked both of them in their heads.

'YURI!!!' Both of them shouted.

'That's for telling Chaewon about it and lying to me.' Yuri said and went back to the room.

Meanwhile,Chaewon,Chaeyeon and Hitomi were still awkward although they already met each other yesterday.

Chaeyeon broke the awkwardness between them.

'Uhmm,,,How did you and Yuri knew each other?' Chaeyeon asked.

'We're childhood friends for more than a decade now...' Chaewon simply answered her.

Many seconds after that,Yuri arrived with Yena and Minju following her.

'Love,what did you do to them?' Chaewon said as she approached Yuri.

'I just slightly hit them,love.Don't worry..' Yuri answered.

'YA! Slightly? You hit us so hard..' Yena said,complaining.

'You deserved it,you duck.So don't complain to me.' Yuri said.

'By they way,I still have class to attend so I'll have to go now.' Yuri said.

'I'll see you later at lunch,love.Don't worry,Yena and Minju will be here until break time.' Yuri said,bidding goodbye to Chaewon.

After Yuri left,the awkwardness is back again.

Except for the bestfriend trio who keep bickering..

'Ya! Why did you tell her?'

'We got hurt because of you.'

'I didn't do anything.Why are you accusing me? Besides you two deserves it.'

Bickering,That was the only thing which can be heard in the room.

They keep being like that until the break time.

Since Yuri already don't have a class anymore,she went back to the room with many papers.

'Why is it so noisy again? Don't tell me..they're at it again...' Yuri said to herself,while already hearing the noise inside the room.

Upon entering the room,she put down the papers she was holding and stopped them from bickering more.

'YA! Why are you all being so childish again this time?!! Stop bickering and help us with those papers.' Yuri said.

'WHAT?!!! ANOTHER PAPERS AGAIN?' Yena and Minju both complained.

'Yes,so stop with your childish acts..Chaeyeon,Hitomi,I'm sorry for this three,,they're usually like this.' Yuri said,apologizing the Chaeyeon and Hitomi for her childish friends.

Both of them says it's okay.

After Yuri scolded them,Chaewon clings into her.

'I missed you,love.' Chaewon said.

'I haven't gone for too long and you already missed me?' Yuri murmured.

They stopped when Yena interrupted them.

'YA! You two lovebirds,stop being so clingy there.This place is not your dating place.Come and help us with these papers.' Yena said,interrupting Chaewon and Yuri.

'Aisshh,,that annoying duck...' Chaewon mumbled.

Of course,since Chaewon was still hugging Yuri,Yuri heard what Chaewon mumbled and tried to assure her.

Yuri hold Chaewon's hands and turned into her direction.

'Let's do this later,love.Later,okay? We need to finish this today.' Yuri said.

Chaewon nodded.

All of them have finished the planning for the school's anniversary tomorrow.

They were so hungry after thinking of the various plans for tomorrow's event.

'I'm so hungry.Let's go eat something.Who's with me?' Yuri said.

'I'm in.' All of them answered at the same time.

They walked through their way to the school's cafeteria.

All the students were all gossiping about them.

All of them(except Chaewon) are already used to it.

'THE MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL IS COMING!!!' One of the students said.

'As expected from the student council,they're so famous wherever they go.'

'Two of them are childhood friends with the school's chairman's daughter,you know.'

'Wait,they have a new member?'

'Who?'

'The one besides the Vice President...'

'There's a rumor.That girl is the vice president's girlfriend.'

'Eh?'

'But I think it's really true.She's the same girl whom the vice president kissed a few days at the cafeteria.'

'Some said she too were childhood friends with Yena-ssi.They were friends for more than a decade now.'

'She's too lucky to be the vice president's girlfriend...'

That's the gossips that can be heard around the school.

Most of it were about Chaewon.

Chaewon was about to leave when Yuri stopped her.

'Don't leave,love.You'll get used of that soon.Come with us.' Yuri said.

Yuri hold her hand and followed the others.

'OMG,the rumors must be true...Did you heard the vice president call her 'love'?'

'And the way they intertwined their hands..'

The students were gossiping again.

'YA! Why did you call me that infront of many people?' Chaewon complained to Yuri.

'That's just to prove to them that you're only mine...' Yuri answered.

'You and your cheesy lines again...' Chaewon mumbled.

'Go and buy something.I'll wait there.' Chaewon said.

Chaewon waited for Yuri and the others.

She was approached by those guys again.

Since Yuri and the others were busy buying something,they didn't know what's happening to Chaewon.
