Samantha's

"Tumahimik ka kung gusto mong makausap ang anak mo." I heard Tita Veron said before I could step my feet on the stairs.

Who are they talking? Mon?

Mon is her daughter too? What?

When I arrived infront of my girlfriend's room ay kumatok ako agad.

"Baby?" I heard some foot steps patungong pintuan but she didn't open the door yet.

"Baby, it's me." sabi ko ulit.

Again, no responds from her again.

"I miss you so much. I was worried yesterday about you, you're not answering my calls." sabi ko.

"Baby, please let me in. I got jetlag pa from the flight, I want to rest beside you." I'm trying to make my voice sounds so very tired para lang pagbuksan ako.

But still no response from her.

"Alright, I'll wait for you downstairs baby." sabi ko at dinikit ang tenga sa pintuan niya.

"I love you." sabi ko.

I was going to turn around when her door finally opened.

I saw her looking down. Agad akong lumapit sa kaniya at niyakap siya.

"God, what happened to you?" I asked her.

But instead of answering me, I heard her sniffing and started crying.

Bumitaw ako sa pagkakayakap sa kaniya and locked her door again.

Inalalayan ko siyang maupo sa kama niya.

"Baby, what's wrong? Tell me please." I asked her.

"May nangyari ba? May kinalaman ba yung bisita niyo sa baba? What happened?" I asked again.

"Nandyan siya sa baba?" tanong niya. Her red nose and cheeks are showing.

"Yes, who is she? Siya ba ang dahilan kung bakit nagkukulong ka sa kwarto mo, baby? tanong pero mabilis siyang umiling.

"Why are you here? Nasa Paris ka dapat, Sam." She changed the topic.

"I was so worried baby, you're not picking up your phone." sagot ko.

"I'm sorry. I'm just a little upset." sabi niya tsaka yumuko.

"You can tell me what makes you upset, Mon." sabi ko.

And there she is, she brokedown on my shoulder again.

She's crying so I hugged her so tight to make her feel that I am here who she can tell her problems with.

"Just cry, baby. Let your burdens be free." I whispered and brushed her back using my hands.

"I j-just can't process e-everything. Knowing that I have two moms and they kept it from me for a long time." Bigla naman akong naguluhan sa sinabi niya.

"What is it, baby? Two mom?" paninigurado ko.

Tumango naman siya.

"The w-woman downstairs is my m-mom too." natigilan naman ako sa sinabi niya.

Her mom too? What? How?

"Nakakagulat 'di ba? That's my reaction too nung nalaman ko." sabi niya.

"Oh that was... that was a big revelation, baby." sabi ko sa kaniya.

"Yes, they were once married. And they did an IVF kaya daw ako nabuo."I was so stunned right now, I mean wow.

"And that's what makes you unique, baby." she looked at me with those fluffy eyes and red nose.

"Am I?" she asked me like a baby. I smiled at her.

"Yes, baby. Other babies, like me, were formed during sexual intercourse of man and a woman and you are formed through IVF. I mean, they want you, Mon. They want a baby at nagawan nila ng paraan yun and that is you. Just imagine how happy they were nang nalaman nilang nabuo ka na." I said.

"But why did they have to be separated if they want me? Why did they kept the truth from me? I don't know what to think anymore." I hugged her again because her emotions is eating her again.

"That question won't be answered if you don't let them talk, baby. Sila lang ang makakapagpaliwanag sayo lahat ng mga tanong mo."sabi ko and kissed her head.

"Pero hindi ko pa kaya." sagot niya.

"Talk to them if you're ready, okay? Don't pressure yourself, my love. They will understand you kung ayaw mo pa silang kausapin ngayon." tumango naman siya sa sinabi ko at niyakap ako pabalik.

Gosh, I miss her so much.

"But don't be hard to them, I know that they have reasons kung bakit sila nagkahiwalay you just need to hear and understand it. I'm counting on you, baby." I whispered again.

"Kakausapin ko sila kapag kaya ko na, Sam." sabi niya na tinanguan ko.

"But you look like your other mom. You two look very similar." umayos naman siya ng upo, pinunasan ko naman ang luha na dumadaloy sa mga mata niya.

"That's what I thought too ng makita ko siya kahapon." sabi niya.

"You are very cute, baby. You look like a baby right now." tukso ko sa kaniya kaya nakatanggap ako ng isang hampas sa braso.

"I'm just wondering, sino yung nag threatened sa'min noon? I thought it was your dad? But you have a mom. So who was it?" Tanong ko. Kanina pa ako naguguluhan.

Mukha ring napaisip siya.

"I'll ask that too." sabi niya at niyakap ako.

"For now, let me rest beside you." She whispered.

I hugged her back and rest my chin on her head.

"You want to sleep?" tanong ko sa kaniya.

Tumango naman siya. Inalalayan ko siyang mahiga sa kama niya at ipinatong ang ulo niya sa balikat ko.

"Matulog ka din. Ang haba ng biyahe mo." sabi niya kaya tumango ako.

I kissed her head and hugged her tight.

Hindi natagalan ay naramdaman ko na rin ang antok kaya parehas kaming nakatulog na dalawa.

Nagising ako dahil sa naramdaman kong pag galaw niya. Minulat ko naman ang mga mata at nakitang hindi na ito nakaunan sa braso ko.

I smiled when I saw her sleeping. Mukhang antok na antok talaga siya.

Hinawi ko naman ang buhok na nakaharang sa mukha niya. I poked her cheeks dahil namumula ito. She really look so cute when sleeping plus her red nose and cheeks.

Napatingin naman ako sa wrist watch na suot ko.

Oh I'm almost 2 hours asleep.

Dahan dahan akong tumayo sa kama niya, ayaw ko siyang magising dahil ang sarap ng tulog niya ngayon.

Nang makatayo ako ay agad ko siyang kinumutan at hinalikan ang noo niya.

Inayos ko muna ang sarili bago ako lumabas ng kwarto niya.

While heading downstairs I can see them waiting on the living area.

The moment they saw me ay nagsiunahan silang makalapit sa'kin.

"Lalabas na daw ba siya, Sam?" bungad na tanong ni Tita Veron sa'kin.

"She will tita. She's sleeping right now. Maybe later, bababa na yun." I answered.

"Salamat naman. Gusto mo bang kumain muna?" Tanong ni Tita sa'kin kaya hindi ko tinanggihan yun.

Susunod na sana ako kay tita veron ng pigilan ako sa braso ng mommy din ni Mon. Hindi ko pa kasi alam ang pangalan niya.

"Who are you in my daughter's life?" she asked me with a serious tone.

I was too stunned to answer her question because she is really intimidating.

"Uhm I'm her... Uh..." I can't utter a proper word because of her stare.

"You what?" she asked again.

"She's my girlfriend po" we both turn our gaze to the one who speaks. Which is Mon na pababa sa hagdan ngayon.

"Oh thank God, you're finally here sweetheart. Are you hungry? Do you want something to eat? But wait..." she stopped asking continuously on Mon and turn her look at me again.

"You're my daughter's girlfriend?" she asked.

I nodded my head as an answer.

"Oh Gosh. Veron you know this?" she shouted para marinig ni tita veron ang tanong niya mula rito.

Bigla namang lumapit si Tita Veron sa'min at magsasalita sana nang makita niya si Mon na nasa hagdan.

She hurriedly came to Mon and hugged her.

"Gutom ka na ba? Pinagluto kita ng paborito mo, anak." she sweetly said to Mon.

"May kare-kare po ba?" tanong ni Mon na ikinangiti ko.

"Oo naman. Paborito mo yun e." nakangiting sabi ni Tita Veron sa kaniya.

"Tara na po." aya ni Mon sa mama niya at sabay na silang bumaba ng hagdan.

Tumigil naman si Mon sa harap ng mommy niya.

"Kumain na po tayo." aya niya dito.

I can see the warmest smile that her mother did. I can say that she's very happy.

"Let's go." nakangiting sabi ng mommy niya sa kaniya at sumunod na sa kanilang dalawa.

But her mom stopped and turn her gaze on me.

"We have a lot of something to talk about later, young lady." sabi nito sa'kin at tumalikod na.

Of course, I always make myself ready about this. I'm ready to answer all of her questions.
