Yubin POV

"Mommy let's buy those toys!" Suyeon's tiny hands tugged at my cardigan gently.

Her chubby little fingers pointed towards a shelf with a bunch of baby toys that were slightly out of her age range.

I chuckled, scooping her up into my arms. Her little legs dangled against my six month baby bump as I pressed a soft kiss to her cheek.

"What do you mean princess? You're a big girl and those are little baby toys, silly. Plus your daddy spoils you," I cooed.

She looked up at me with her wide doe eyes, melting my heart with her sharp and heart-wrenching gaze as she gave me the cutest pout.

"Not for me. For my little sister. She needs lots of toys," Suyeon whined.

I smiled at her sweet sisterly gesture.

Whatever anyone said about pregnancy being easier the second time was sorely mistaken, at least in my case. I still had the terrible morning sickness, the unending need for pickles, and more pain than I could count.

But to know that my Suyeon already loved her baby sister, Yujin with her whole heart made my heart so much lighter. Eunbi and I were the sisters that were super close and rarely fought. And if we did it was over something we could get over.

After finding out I was having a girl, I wanted the same thing for Suyeon and her sister.

"Aww that's sweet princess. But your daddy and I already bought your sister some baby toys so you have nothing to worry about," I hummed.

But I clearly misinterpreted her passion for buying a toy because fat tears welled in her eyes as she let out a sad sniffle.

"B-but I wanna get her s-something," she whimpered.

I pouted, mentally blaming Seokjin for her being so damn cute and irresistible.

I let out a sigh, "We're supposed to be shopping for daddy but I guess we can buy one toy. But only one."

Her eyes instantly lit up, "R-really?"

I chuckled leading her towards the shelf with all the baby toys. From teething rings to blocks, it was all there for Suyeon's little hands to choose.

Clearly this was a life altering choice for Suyeon because she had to be put down as she analyzed every single toy and how Yujin could play with it.

"Come on Su, it doesn't need to be perfect," I said.

"Don't rush me," she huffed, speaking in a tone much like her father.

I sighed. These two were way too alike for comfort.

Finally after much consideration she picked up a neon green teething ring that seemed to soothe her tastes.

I didn't have the heart to tell her we had already bought like three teething rings, so I just accepted it and moved on.

The real reason we were at the store was because similar to the last pregnancy, Seokjin was sent off on another business trip.

However this time it was about a three week trip and we hadn't seen him in about two and a half weeks.

He really didn't want to go but I convinced him for the sake of his partnerships and whatnot.

Of course Suyeon loved her dad so she hated being apart, so I used this shopping trip as a way to make her take her mind off of it by buying him a welcome home gift.

"Alright princess, you bought Yujinnie something now let's go spoil your daddy. Even though he's already spoiled with his queen and princesses."

I looked around for something meaningful and cute and cliche, but as a further ventured into the unknown of adulthood, I also began to notice the benefit of getting things that were practical.

Sure, cute engraved necklaces were cute, but Seokjin and I were no bubbly little teenagers. We were adults with jobs and children.

Sometimes, practicality was the most thoughtful thing in the world.

Which is why my feet led me to the kitchenware section.

Seokjin had been raving for months about getting some sort of new stainless steel pan that was inexpensive and would baby proof me whenever I cooked since I had a tendency to make a mess sometimes.

He was worried I'd spill oil on myself or do something stupid even though I was an extremely capable cook.

"Alright princess, you know how daddy likes his pan. Which do you think will be his favorite?" I asked, picking her back up in my arms.

She grinned, "He loves me so everything~"

I snickered, "Don't get too cheeky missy."

I looked through the pans, specifically through the new type he wanted but I wasn't sure of the brand to get.

After relentless searching, I settled on one random one simply because my feet were hurting too much and a date with my bed was in order.

Suyeon tried to help me put it in the cart so that I wasn't working too hard but she was still a little too tiny to push it, so I watched her waddle between my legs to push it.

And of course I had to keep cheering her on as if she was actually pushing the cart. But it was cute to see her try so I enjoyed every moment.

I paid for the stuff and walked her back to the car. I did my motherly duty of buckling her up in the car and giving her one of her stuffies to play with before getting back to the driver's side.

It was a short drive back to our place so we arrived home quickly.

I decided to bring Suyeon up first and then I could bring in the other things.

I picked up the little girl in my arms, smiling as I noticed her peaceful sleeping figure.

She looked so much like her father it was scary. But also so precious because every time I looked at her, I could be reminded of him.

I patted my belly gently, "Maybe you'll be a mommy's girl. But who am I kidding. Everyone is a daddy's girl when it comes to him. Hell I would be. If I was a child of course."

As I unlocked the door with Suyeon sleeping peacefully in my arms, I was hit with a sense of deja vu as I walked into the 'empty' house to be met with the smell of delicious food.

A spread had been laid out on the table and the familiar cologne that lingered all of his clothes had been wafted through the house.

Vanilla bean with a hint of-

"Cherry."

My eyes widened in shock as I realized not only was there the voice of the man that should still be on vacation but he also read my mind.

I whirled around to see Seokjin giving me a warm and welcoming smile while wearing his favorite 'Papa Chef' apron.

His bangs had been neatly swept to the side but aside from that he was in the casual clothes that I had gotten the secret pleasure of seeing often.

Overwhelming excitement, probably due to my mother hormones kicked in and I had the urge to run to him. But...sleeping child in my arms said otherwise.

He gave me a cheeky smile, "Hi darling."

"I thought you were coming back in a few days," I said softly.

He chuckled, "I convinced them I had important business to attend to. Which I did."

He came closer to me, his arms encircling my waist.

"Mm wait. Tell me all about your important business after I get her down for her nap."

He took a loving look at his little girl, the joy spreading across his face as he resisted the urge to wake her up and twirl her around.

I gently brought her to her crib, laying her down onto the soft cushioning.

"Wake up soon princess. Your Prince Charming has returned~"

I went back to Seokjin, with my arms finally free and ran to him to envelop him in a giant hug.

His arms protectively encircled my waist, pulling me as close as my baby bump would let us be.

I pressed my chin into his chest so I could stare into his eyes.

"How were my girls?" He hummed softly.

I giggled, "Fine. See, I told you a woman could manage on her own."

He chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to my nose, "I never doubted you for a second."

I huffed, "Liar."

He giggled, not wasting any more time as his plump lips met mine.

I inhaled sharply, breathing in his glorious scent, letting my body meld into the familiar mold of his body.

Like two puzzle pieces fitting together, our bodies just fit perfectly.

"I missed you," I hummed, nuzzling my face into the crook of his neck.

He kissed the top of my head, "I missed you so much my love."

"Aw wait. We bought you a gift for your welcome home surprise," I whined.

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh? And I'm sure it was the brilliant planning of my genius daughter."

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah for sure. She said that you'd like anything just because she picked it. Nice going babe, you corrupted our two-year-old."

He snickered, watching while I went to the car to grab the things.

I came back with the box with the pan and the teething ring on top.

Seokjin gave me an excited gaze.

"You did not-"

"I did."

He dramatically clutched his chest, biting his lip out of pure happiness.

I watched him gently lift it out of my hands, jumping up and down like a child.

"Ah it's so beautiful~"

I rolled my eyes, "Hey doofus, your wife is over here."

He gave a cheeky pat to my butt.

"I know. My sexy, gorgeous, brilliant, alluring, talented, and loving wife bought me something that I've wanted for so long," he buttered me up.

"You're welcome. Now stop bugging me about it,"I whined, pulling him in for another hug.

"I love you very much," he said, booping my nose.

"I love you too."

"I, also noticed another teething ring. What's that about?"

"Your daughter threw a fit when she couldn't buy her baby sister a toy," I chuckled.

"Oh. Makes sense."

I smiled as he caressed my baby bump with his gentle hands.

His touch was delicate and fatherly with no ounce of fear or regret in it.

His lips gently marked my neck in the process, his multitasking making me overwhelmed with serotonin.

"My three beautiful girls~" Seokjin cooed. "I'm so damn lucky."
