The whole way home I tried processing what just happened. I've obviously grabbed Nate's attention. But why me? And why did he hurt me? I tried shaking it off and just planned on never talking to him again. Plus him in Maddy would probably be back together in like 5 minutes anyways.

I walked into my empty house and locked the doors behind me. I made sure to set the alarm. I always got paranoid when I was home alone at night. I opened my phone and had a missed call from Cassie and a text from my mom.

I quickly replied to my moms text telling her I was home safe. I decided to just text Cassie a simple 'sorry' and a 'see u Monday'. I wasn't going to tell Cassie what happened because I honestly had no idea what happened myself.

I made my way up into my room and took out my hair and washed away all my makeup. I slid on some sweats and a crop top tank. Just as I crawled into bed I heard my phone ding

I shut my phone off and put it on my nightstand. I turned my lamp off and laid on my back staring at my ceiling fan. Why did I have butterflies in my stomach from him texting me. He hurt me, like physically hurt yet I can't help but feel something for him. God I'm so fucked
