ALYANA'S POV

Finally, Colby got out of the house. I hated being the reason for staying here all the time. I felt so guilty about it. Corey was staying, so I wouldn't be alone anyways. It would be fine. After they left I turned on the TV and sat down on the couch. Not long after Corey walked out of his room.

"Hey, I'm going to pick up Devyn real quick, I'll be right back," He said slipping on his shoes.

"Corey, you're not my babysitter. Take your time," I laugh waving goodbye to him.

Sitting on the couch I can see headlights reflect onto the wall across from me, pulling into the driveway. The boys must be home already. I didn't move from my spot, knowing that they had keys to get in.

"Pizza," I here coming from the door followed by a knock. Corey must have ordered some for him and Devyn.

I walk to the door only to find the complete opposite standing on the other side. Nick.

My heart dropped to the floor and I began to shake.

"Miss me?" He stares into my soul with his emotionless eyes.

"How?" I stutter moving my hand to my back pocket where my phone was located.

I begin to blindly navigate through my phone behind my back. I know my messages are in the bottom left corner of my home screen and Colby was the last person I texted. I try my best to spell out 'here' without looking. Making sure Nick didn't know.

"You're little friends are famous, sweetheart. It wasn't that hard. I see that you all frequently order from Dominos, for your pizza nights. Thanks to Kevin Langue's instagram story, I saw your pretty little face. I went to the closest Dominos to that sushi restaurant you went to earlier this week and paid an employee to give me the address of the Mr. Colby Brock. Oh and where is he, did he finally leave your pathetic side?"

"Nick, please just leave. It's been three years, leave me alone," I beg as my heart races, knowing he won't leave.

"No, you left me. You left without a goodbye, and I'm here for my goodbye," He evilly smirks before pushing me into the house and closing the door behind him.

"Please don't do this, its been so long," I start to back up as he closes me in against the wall.

"Just shut up and take it like you use to."

He lifts his hand up and I imminently flinch just before his hand meets my cheek. My hand flies up to my face to try and sooth the burning sensation coming from where he just hit me.

"Take me to your room," He growls at me, making me jump again.

"No," I stand my ground.

"Do you want me to fucking kill you?" He raised his fist again and I flinch, "That's what I though, now go!"

I didn't want him to do it in Colby's room, that would ruin me forever. I have so many amazing memories in that room, I can't let him take that away from me. I take him to the guest room that I stayed in the night of the party. The night that me and Colby first kissed.

"Get on the bed," He orders and I ignore.

"You don't have control over me anymore, you can't do this," I argue.

"Katherine, I swear to god if you don't get on that bed right now!"

I cut him off, "I'm not Katherine, I'm Alyana. Get away from me!"

As I yell at him, he pushes me down onto the bed causing me to hit my head on the backboard. Lying there in pain, he climbs on top of me and smacks me another time. As he's trying to rip my clothes off, I hear the front door slam from downstairs. He got my text.

"Colby!" I try my best to yell.

Not even two seconds later, Colby is in the room.

"Get the fuck off of her!" He shouts ripping Nick off of me throwing him to the ground.

Colby hovers over top of Nick, punching him over and over again. Right fist to left cheek, then left fist to right cheek. I was sitting on the bed curled up in a ball crying and screaming.

"Colby, stop he's out!" I scream in fear.

Once Colby hears the fear in my voice, he stops and runs to me.

"Alyana are you okay," He cries holding my beat up face.

I slowly nod whipping my tears away. Shortly after, Sam and Jake came running up the stairs.

"What the fuck, is everyone okay?" Jake asks astonished.

"Yeah," I reply.

"Not so sure about him," Colby gestures over to Nick's unconscious body.

"The cops just got here," Sam says before turning around to go back downstairs.

"What?" I jump up off of the bed, "You called the cops!"

"Of course we did, he won't get away with this," Colby grabbed my arm and pulled me back on the bed with him, "Plus, what would we do with him? He would just come back,"

He has a point.

A few moments later, Sam escorts the cops up into the guest room. One of them picks Nick up and handcuffs him and the other comes over to us.

"We would like to ask you some questions, miss."

I repeat the story for the fourth time this week. I tell them everything as they write it down. The whole time Colby had his hand in mine, rubbing his thumb back and forth to comfort me. They asked me to describe everything in full detail. It was hard for me to get everything out without breaking down, but I did it.

"Sir, we would like you to come with us for some questioning," The cop turns to Colby this time.

He squeezes my hand before getting up and following him. I wasn't surprised they wanted to take him in for questioning, he beat Nick senseless, but I wish he could stay with me. I need him more than anything right now. At least Sam and Jake were still here.

They both gave me hugs and apologized for what happened.

"We're sorry we took Colby with us," Sam said looking guilty.

"Guys stop, this would have happened anyways. Please don't blame this on yourself," I said trying to make them feel better.

"Here let me get you an ice pack," Jake runs downstairs and comes back with a small ice pack for my face.

We all kinda just sat there without saying much, but I'm glad they stayed with me. I didn't want to be alone.

"Thank you," I say to break the silence.

I hear a faint, "Hey," from the doorway. I turn my head to see Colby standing there like a shy kid with his hands crossed in front of him.

"We'll let you two be alone," Sam says as him and Jake leave the room.

"Can we go to your room?" I ask standing up going over to Colby.

"Of course," He takes my hand and leads me across the hall.

"I though you had to go to the station with them?" I asked confused sitting down on the bed with him.

"No, they just wanted my statement about everything. Nothing too serious."

"Oh, well that's good," My voice is still shaky.

"Alyana," Colby says looking down embarrassed, "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for leaving tonight, I'm so sorry for not getting here fast enough, I'm so sorry this happened to you," He starts to cry.

"Colby," I take his hands in mine, "None of this is your fault, I'm okay."

"No you're not," He starts to raise his voice, "You're hurt, he hurt you." He began to get angry with himself.

"I have a bruise and a headache, that's it. I'm fine, seriously. I'm just so glad he's gone."

"Me too," He whispers before putting the ice pack back up to my face.

"Colby?" I say in a questioning tone.

"Mmhmm," He mumbles.

"Can I have another bath, like I did the other day?" I ask slightly embarrassed, feeling like a child.

"Of course," He smiles before going into his bathroom to start the water.

I sit on the bed and wait and think about how lucky I am to have him. He's truly amazing.

"It's all ready for you," He grins opening the door for me.

"Can you, um, join too?" I stutter.

He nods with a smile before getting undressed and getting in the warm water. I follow after him, sitting between his legs with my back against him and laying my head on his chest. We set in the relaxing silence while he plays with my hair in front of him.

"Thank you," I blurt out, "and don't say that, 'don't thank me' bull crap because you deserved to be thanked. You saved me, Colby."

"You're welcome," He accepted.

"Hey, Lane," He says in a shaky voice.

"Yes?" I reply without turning to face him.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Brock."
