As Gu Wei and A-Yuan embraced, Ebisu coaxed Eros to join them so he could be a part of the moment. For A-Yuan, if this were a dream, he never wanted to wake up. This was the home he had prayed for—the loving parents he had longed for.

"Dad, Nana, I want a complete family," he said.

"We do too, baby radish," Eros and Ebisu chimed in together.

"From now on, we'll never be apart," Yibo assured them, just as Jingyi spoke up, catching their attention.

"No wonder Yuan is so well-behaved; he takes after his Nana, not from—" Before Jingyi could finish, Jinling quickly covered his mouth.

"There you go again with your nonsense," Jinling said, trying to stop Jingyi from pulling his hand away. Ebisu couldn’t help but smile at the twins’ playful antics.

"Nana, they’re my cousins!" A-Yuan said excitedly. Jinling finally let go of Jingyi, and the two introduced themselves.

Ebisu was a bit surprised since he wasn’t around when the twin arrived, but he still introduced himself. When the parents of Yibo, Zhan, Jiyang, Haoxuan, Jackson, Lay, Mianmian, and Youn came out of the room where the pictures were kept, Ebisu was shocked. He glanced at Eros, but instead of explaining, he simply held his hand.

They all sat down on the couch as if nothing had happened, though their tear-streaked eyes told a different story.

"I didn’t wait for you," Yibo whispered. Zhan smiled at him.

"Thank you," he replied.

Gu Wei's mother approached Ebisu and embraced him. Although Gu Wei was puzzled, he hugged his mother in return.

"Forgive me for everything, for my shortcomings as a mother," she said, turning her gaze away from the people looking at them to avoid breaking down in tears.

"I never held a grudge against you, but I can't say the same about her.She ruined my life and my family" Ebisu replied, and although he didn’t mention any names, they knew exactly who he was referring to. "I can't just ignore the 16 years I've endured," he said firmly, then looked at his father, who couldn’t meet his gaze.

"Dad, aren’t you going to hug me?" Ebisu asked. Sebastian didn't reply but walked toward the bed where Ebisu and his mother sat.

"I don’t know how to face you," he said. Before Gu Wei could let him speak any further, he hugged his father tightly.

"Dad, haven't I been a good brother?" he asked, and the room fell silent.

"You are the best brother in the world. I know and I've seen how you always put your sister first," his father said, trying to hold back his tears.

"But she’s the one who's wrong. She’s selfish and always wants all the attention to herself," he added.

"No matter what you do, remember, I will always be behind you," his father said, though he couldn’t bring himself to mention what Yibo had told them earlier.

Five days had passed since Eros and Ebisu learned about each other's past.

But before that, they had made a discovery when Jiyang and Haoxuan went to where Jili was keeping the man who had kidnapped Ebisu. Upon entering the room, they were shocked by what they saw — another person, who looked exactly like the man sitting in front of them. When they told Jili about this, Jili couldn’t believe it until he saw the picture himself, and his eyes widened in surprise. "How is this possible?" he asked, puzzled. "Could they be twins?" Jiyang wondered. They couldn’t ask the man, as he had lost consciousness after Jili had electrocuted him.

Back to the present, Yibo’s surgery is scheduled two days from now. He intentionally planned it this way to uncover what Liying was plotting. Yes, she was still alive despite Eros' efforts, and that was precisely the purpose — so Gu Wei could exact his revenge on her.

The new design created by Jiyang (Gu Wei) was a success, and because of that, he was about to be introduced as the CEO. Their project had tripled the company’s earnings, boosting their stock value.

"You know, friend, you really are heaven-sent," Liying said, offering Jiyang some wine. Jiyang smiled at her and told her he would choose her gown, to which Liying happily agreed. She added that she had a surprise announcement to make.

Jiyang picked a mermaid gown with an open back. As soon as Liying saw the gown, her face suddenly turned pale, and she quickly looked away.

"Is there a problem?" Jiyang asked, secretly smirking.

"I don’t want to wear this," she said, avoiding eye contact with Jiyang.

"Why?" he asked. Liying just shook her head, so Jiyang didn’t press further and began searching for another design. "By the way, how are we going to enter? Will you go out before me?" Jiyang asked.

"I’ll go out first, then after I announce my surprise, you’ll follow," Liying replied. Jiyang nodded in agreement.

Elsewhere, Eros and Ebisu were in a room together. "Thank you for giving me another chance to be with you and rebuild our family as married couple," Eros said, wrapping his arms around Ebisu from behind. Ebisu smiled as if Eros was the only thing she could see.

"You deserve a second chance because not everything was your fault. Our love is strong, but Liying is even better at manipulation. Now, I’ll show her how I’ll take back what’s most important to her — and that’s you. I’m taking back my husband," Ebisu said, turning to face Eros and hugging him tightly.

When Yibo found out that his marriage to Liying wasn’t officially registered, he breathed a sigh of relief, tears of joy welling in his eyes. He was overjoyed that he didn’t need to go through the hassle of getting a divorce to annul their marriage. He was deeply grateful to his parents for ensuring things were done this way.

Eros kissed Ebisu, and he gladly returned it. Over the past five days, the three of them had been living together under one roof, and A-yuan had been incredibly happy. Sometimes, he would even sleep in his parents' room, and despite being 16 years old, they still doted on him like a baby.

Eros held Ebisu by the waist, but due to Ebisu’s lingering trauma, he gently pushed Yibo away. "Sorry, sorry," he said quickly. Yibo smiled at him, assuring him it was okay. "I’ll wait until you’re not afraid anymore," Yibo said, kissing Ebisu’s forehead.

Even though Ebisu had been sleeping better since sharing the bed with Eros, there were still moments when he felt scared if he touched him, which Yibo completely understood.

"The party is about to start," Ebisu said.

Yibo arrived at the venue first, having agreed to go along with Liying’s plan. He had allowed her to accompany him to the party. "Honey, I’m so happy you agreed to let me bring you to this party," Liying said cheerfully, reaching out to hold Yibo’s hand, but he pulled away. "Just sit properly," he said coldly. If it weren’t for Ebisu, Liying would probably already be d@ad. Ever since Eros found out what Liying had done to Ebisu, he was furious with her. Eros couldn’t even bear to look at her, filled with disgust.

Meanwhile, inside a room, Ebisu stared into the distance while smoking a cigarette. He stopped when his phone rang. "Hello," he greeted the person on the other end.

"Are you sure you don’t want your parents to attend the party?" Jiyang asked. Ebisu sighed. "No, and the kids won’t be going either. I know they would be hurt by what I’m about to do to Liying, and she’s the only one at fault here," he said firmly, which Jiyang immediately understood.

"Alright. By the way, Haoxuan and Jili are ready, so prepare yourself because you’re going to see him," Jiyang said, making Ebisu fall silent, his hands trembling. "If you feel like you can’t handle it, just run to Yibo," Jiyang added. Zhan nodded silently, as if he could see him through the phone. After hanging up, Ebisu let out another deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
