When Gu Wei entered the room, he was surprised to find Yibo lying on the sofa. "Are you going to sleep here?" Gu Wei asked. Yibo sat up with a smile. "Yes, unless you want us to sleep together," Yibo teased. Gu Wei rolled his eyes.

"Just sleep there," Gu Wei said, and he was about to leave when Yibo grabbed his hand, causing him to stop and look at Yibo. "Do you need something?" Gu Wei asked. But instead of answering, Yibo pulled Gu Wei towards him with such force that Yibo ended up lying down with Gu Wei on top of him. Gu Wei's eyes widened, but he didn't say a word. They stayed in that position for a few minutes until Gu Wei felt Yibo's hands on his waist. His eyes grew even wider, and he tried to get up, but Yibo tightened his grip on his waist.

"Mr. Wang... wh-what are you doing?" Gu Wei stammered, their faces so close to each other. Yibo smiled at him. "Can we stay like this, just for a little while?" Gu Wei raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry for everything," Eros whispered, shocking Gu Wei even more. "For what? Are you still seeing Zhan in me?" Instead of answering, Eros hugged Gu Wei tighter. Gu Wei tried to break free, but Eros held him even closer.

"I know sorry isn't enough, but I'm saying it anyway," Eros whispered. "Are you really going to marry Lay?" he asked. Gu Wei tried to pull away again. "Answer me while we're in this position. I don't want to see your face when you give me your answer," Eros murmured, and Gu Wei couldn't miss the sound of Yibo's voice, which seemed like he was crying.

Gu Wei took a deep breath. "Yes," he replied shortly. Eros's grip on him loosened, but this time, Gu Wei didn't move away. "Are you happy with him?" Yibo asked again. "Yes," Gu Wei answered once more. This time, Eros removed his hands from Gu Wei's waist, but Gu Wei still didn't get up.

"I'm happy for you; you deserve to be happy. I wish you all the joy," Yibo said. Slowly, Gu Wei got up, and his eyes widened when he saw that Yibo was crying. But what shocked him even more was the blood dripping from Yibo's nose, which Eros didn't seem to notice.

"What happened to you?" Gu Wei asked, worried. Yibo looked at him, confused. "Huh?" Gu Wei grabbed a tissue, but before he could wipe Eros's nose, Eros felt the liquid dripping and wiped it himself, seeing the blood. He quickly turned away. "Go to sleep, I'll take care of this," Eros said firmly.

"I'll help you," Gu Wei insisted, but he stopped when Yibo's voice grew louder. "I said I can handle it. Just go inside," Yibo snapped. Even though Gu Wei couldn't see him, he shot him a glare. "Fine, suit yourself," Gu Wei muttered as he went inside and slammed the door.

Only after making sure Gu Wei was inside did Yibo finally turn towards the door and slowly stand up. After a moment, he took out his phone. "I don't want to go through with the surgery anymore," he sent the message, and almost immediately, his phone vibrated. "Are you crazy? Just the other day, you were excited to go ahead with the surgery, and now you're backing out? What's going on with you?" Eros read the message and then turned off his phone.

Meanwhile, Gu Wei was still restless, replaying their earlier conversation in his mind. "That was normal, right?" he asked himself, pacing back and forth. "I should be happy now, shouldn't I? Why can't I understand what I'm feeling?" He asked himself again. It felt like he was losing control, and before he knew it, he had left his room.

When he came out, Eros was staring at the ceiling, so deep in thought that he didn't notice Gu Wei approaching. Eros was startled when he realized how close Gu Wei's face was to his own, and in his shock, he jerked upright, accidentally kissing Gu Wei. Both their eyes widened in surprise, and they quickly pulled away from each other, avoiding eye contact, neither willing to speak. After a moment, Gu Wei mustered the courage to say something.

"Were you so deep in thought that you didn't notice me getting close?" But instead of answering, Yibo changed the subject. "What are you doing here? Aren't you going to sleep?" Gu Wei didn't respond right away.

"Just this once, let me drown in my dream," he thought to himself, then closed his eyes. "I thought it was cold here, so I was going to suggest we sleep in the bedroom. The bed is big enough for both of us," Gu Wei said, his ears turning red. Eros suddenly smiled meaningfully, but his smile faded as he remembered what Gu Wei had said to him earlier.

"I'm fine here," Eros said curtly. Gu Wei glanced at him, and something suddenly came to mind. "Oh, right, you and Mianmian used to live here, didn't you?" he said, which made Eros look at him, but he remained silent. "Did you share a bed? There's only one bedroom here," Gu Wei asked. Eros's eyes widened, and he quickly denied it.

"She slept in the bedroom, and I slept on the sofa," he said quietly. "I slept in the secret room," he added in his mind. Gu Wei nodded and then stood up. "You really don't want to sleep inside? It's cold here," he said, then walked towards the door and went inside without waiting for Yibo's response. Yibo stayed silent, staring at the closed door.

"I want to be with him without thinking of anything else, just the two of us," he said to himself, then stood up and slowly opened the door. When he entered, Gu Wei was not facing him and didn't turn around when Yibo came in. Yibo walked to the other side and sat on the bed. "You're right, it is cold outside" he said, but Gu Wei didn't respond, so Eros slowly lay down.

As he lay there, he couldn't help but glance at Gu Wei, who still had his back turned to him. An hour passed, and their positions hadn't changed Eros continued to gaze at Gu Wei's back, and neither of them could fall asleep. They both felt the room gradually heating up.

"I hope it's okay if I take off my shirt? It's getting warm," Eros said, but Gu Wei didn't reply. "Can I hug you?" Eros suddenly asked out of nowhere, and before Gu Wei could respond, he felt Yibo's arm wrap around his waist, which made his eyes widen. But he didn't remove Yibo's arm or get angry.

"Like I said, I want to live in this dream for a while," Gu Wei thought, and he slowly turned to face Eros, then hugged him back, which surprised Eros, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he secretly smiled and held Gu Wei tighter.

This was somewhat new to Gu Wei even though Eros wasn't wearing a shirt, he didn't feel disgusted or afraid that Yibo might do something. Because of what he'd been through, he was usually very sensitive and easily frightened by physical contact, but now, he felt safe in Yibo's arms.

On the other hand, this was the feeling Yibo had longed for, a feeling only Xiao Zhan could give him. "I hope this beautiful dream never ends. I'm afraid that if I open my eyes, I'll wake up to the reality that you belong to someone else," Eros thought, and he tightened his embrace around Gu Wei, as if he didn't want anyone else to take him away.

"If I take you from him, would you agree to come with me?" Erod asked, thinking he was only saying it in his mind, but he actually said it out loud. "It's not that simple," Gu Wei replied, and Eros only then realized he had spoken out loud. "Just give me hope, and I'll strive to live for you," he said meaningfully. "For you and A-yuan," he added under his breath. Gu Wei furrowed his brow, but Yibo couldn't see it because of their position.

"Are you hiding something?" Gu Wei asked. Eros smiled. "Yes," he said softly, which made Gu Wei pull away and look at him seriously. "That I love you," Eros added, and Gu Wei glared at him, about to turn away, but Eros hugged him again. "I wish we could stay like this forever," Eros whispered.

"Me too, but I don't want to," Gu Wei thought.

Elsewhere, Liying received a message that made her furious. I need 10 million" Her eyebrow shot up. "Do you think I just pick up money off the ground? I already gave you 3 million, but I still haven't heard a word about Katrina being dead," she gritted her teeth as she sent the message.

"Do you think it's that easy? She has a lot of bodyguards now."

"I don't care. Find a way, but I've changed my mind. Instead of killing her, make her a vegetable the kind who can't speak but can still see everything happening around her," she replied meaningfully. "Because when I reveal my pregnancy, she'll have no choice but to watch everything unfold," she thought to herself.

"I won't move without the 10 million, and I need it by tomorrow afternoon."

"Oh, and I'll give you the place where you should leave the money... I want it in cash."

"Or else all your secrets will be exposed." Jiyang and Haoxuan laughed as they sent the message but fell silent when Lay arrived.

"By the way, we already have the man who kidnapped Zhan, right?" Lay asked as he sat down beside them. "Yes," Haoxuan replied. Lay grew quiet, with Haoxuan and Jiyang watching him intently.

"Why don't we hand him over to Yibo? Yibo knows him, and he can decide how to get his revenge," Lay suggested. Jiyang and Haoxuan exchanged glances. "Yibo's mother already told him that Zhan was kidnapped and that Liying was behind it, but she doesn't know that the guy pretending to be Zhan's friend was an accomplice," Jiyang said. Lay fell silent again, as if deep in thought.
