When the door opened, A-Yuan turned and smiled broadly when he saw Yibo, as if he was looking for someone else. "How are you feeling?" Yibo asked as he approached A-Yuan. "I'm okay, Dad. I was surprised to wake up here. Where's Mom?" A-Yuan said hesitantly.

"Why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling well? Your mom said you were at school, so I didn't bother to check on you in your room" Yibo said. A-Yuan couldn't look Yibo in the eye because he didn't know his mom had said that. While she was the one who said that he wouldn't go to school today and wouldn't fall down the stairs if Andro didn't push him.

Yibo noticed the hesitation on A-Yuan's face and decided to sit by his bed.

Yibo took a deep breath. "A-Yuan, have I been neglecting you?" A-Yuan was shocked by Yibo's question because it was the first time he remembered his dad asking him something like this, so he asked again to make sure he heard correctly.

"What, Dad?"

"Honestly, I was surprised by your question that I came to the point where I don't know what to answer you, Dad, but I don't know if it's neglect. When I was little, all of you and Mom's attention was on Andro. I thought it was because he was young and needed all your time and attention. Whenever the school called for parent activities, you and Mom were never there, but I'd find out you went to see Andro." He stopped and took a deep breath.
