chapter sixteen—✧♡︎✧—

Felix was buried in the softest mountain of blankets, his head resting against a pillow as his playlist shuffled through his favorite songs. The glow of his phone screen was the only light in his darkened room, casting a soft glow over his face as he scrolled through his camera roll.

He really shouldn't be doing this.

But here he was, like a complete loser, simping over every picture he had of Hyunjin.

There was one of them from last summer, both of them grinning like idiots with ice cream dripping down their hands. Another one from Felix's birthday, where Hyunjin had tackled him into a hug mid-photo, making them both blur into a mess of laughter.

And then, of course, there were the stupid candid ones—Hyunjin half-asleep with his head on Felix's shoulder, Hyunjin focused on a sketchbook with his lips slightly parted, Hyunjin making one of his dumb 'I'm so hot and I know it' faces.

Felix groaned, kicking his feet under the blanket like a schoolgirl with a crush.

Which—fine. Maybe that's exactly what he was.

Just as he was about to seriously scold himself for acting like this, his phone buzzed with a message.

Felix blinked. Then blinked again.

Okay. No big deal. Just act normal.

So, he opened the chat while taking deep breaths and holding in his squeals.
