Chapter 6: Protection

Ben went back to his shuttle. He entered to the light speed and he tried to clear his mind. His emotions were all a mess, he felt love, excitement, happiness, they were emotions that he didn't have felt in a long time,... but he also felt guilt and fear, he feared that he made something wrong, that he could have harmed Rey. How much time was it going to pass to see her again? The only thing that he wanted in this precise moment was to live in peace, and with her.

When he got out of light speed he encountered with the First Order's fleet, it didn't seemed to be a chaos so it seemed that everithing was alright.

He got out of his shuttle and Hux was there to recieve him "Supreme Leader, good to have you back." Of course Hux didn't wanted him to come back, actually, he wanted him to go away and dissapeared for ever.

"General Hux, what do you want?" Ben said rudely.

"Well, we have good news, we localized the Resistance secret base on the planet Lothal. And we have prepared for an attack that for sure will destroyed that awful Resistance." Hux informed proud of himself.

"Well, good for you Hux." Ben said, making Hux frown. Ben didn't like the idea of attacking the Resistance, there was Rey and also his mother, he was so regret for killing his father that he didn't want to kill his mother now.

"Shall we prepare for attack them?" Hux asked impaciently.

"No, are you sure that information is correct?" Ben asked, in his mind he was creating a plan to let escape the Resistance and save Rey.

"Well, they are some of our allies, not the best ones to trust but is the best clue we have had in the last six months." Hux said nervously, the last time they trust one of those 'allies' they found nothing and it was just a waiste of time.

"Have you forgotten the last time we trusted in those allies? Or do I need to remind you?" Ben said in a way that made Hux feel miserable, probably he was the person that deserves the most to feel miserable. "That's what I thought, " Ben continued, "so why don't you investigate the information that you have, and then you plan your attack." He finished and left. Ben was going to alert Rey that they found the Resistance and that they needed to escape, that was his plan, alert the Resistance and save Rey.

He entered his training room and sat there, alone, maditating trying to find Rey's mind in the Force. He tried really hard until he found her.

Rey got back to the Resistance. She felt different with herself, something inside her, but she didn't know what.

When she got down from the Falcon she was recieved by her friends, Finn, Rose, Poe, BB-8, and Chewie. Everyone of them was happy that it didn't passed so long for her to returned and that she was alright. They asked her about her 'Force mission' she only said "It was alright." She didn't want to tell them wat has happened, she only wanted to talk to Leia, Leia needed to know specially the fact that Ben still had a chance to return to the light and that she was going to help him.

She made her way back to her room whe she found Leia getting out her room. "Or you are getting faster Rey, or I'm getting too old to recieve people when they arrive?" Leia said gently with a smile.

"Leia" Rey said and hugged her.

"So how was your mission like? What happened?" Leia asked.

"Well, I think we really need to talk about that." Rey answered, she didn't know how she was going to explain this to Leia but she was going to do so.

"In that case come in." Leia said and invited Rey to enter her room. It was bigger than Rey's it had enough space to have a desk and a table with two chairs apart from the bed and the bathroom. They sat down on the table and started talking.

"I need to tell you about what I found on my trip, or actually who." Rey started.

"You found someone? Who?" Leia asked.

"Yes, well,... I... I found Ben..."

"You mean, Kylo Ren." Leia said hopeless.

"No, he is Ben... he is... he stills being Ben Solo." Rey said trying to convince Leia about that.

"Ben Solo is gone, he was replaced by Kylo Ren, my son is gone and it's all my fault." Leia said with sadness. "But, did he harmed you?"

"No, no he was... he was such a gentleman." Rey said, a small smile trying to form in her face.

"Gentleman? He's a monster." Rey wasn't convince by that, but she knew that this wasn't a great moment to tell Leia what he has said to her, that he said he loved her.

"Rey, I trust you, but beware, he could be trying to manipulate you to over the dark side." Leia said, but Rey was no longer listening, instead she was listening to him, he was talking to her.

"Wait! I can hear him." Rey said.

"What? And what is he telling you?" Leia said, she has never seen Rey comunicating to him and she was getting nervous.

"He tells me that the First Order has found our location here on Lothal, he is telling me that we need to evacuate." Rey said. Leia wasn't sure about following instructions from Ben. In that moment, Connix came rushed to Leia's room and said "General! We have intercepted a few transmitions from some allies of the First Order, they say they have found our location." That was enough information to make Leia believe that her son still had a chance to return to the light.

"Start the evacuation inmediately! Everyone's going back to the fleet." Leia ordered, and Connix ran away to start the evacuation.

"Rey, now I see that you are right. Now go and prepare your stuff." Leia said, Rey nodded and made her way to prepare her things.

The evacuation was completed  before getting any signals of the First Order. In just a few hours the base was left empty and everyone was in their transports ready to leave. The ships entered the light speed to get reunite with the rest of the Resistance fleet.
