Chapter 12

AILINN

It was the morning of the day I was leaving back to school. I was waiting for Jefnier to pick me up because we are going to go see the sunrise at the beach. It was still really dark out we still had about thirty five minutes before it began to go up. I had mya bags ready so I am prepared to leave without any problems. I received a text message from Jefnier saying that he was outside and I walked out. I saw his car parked in the drive way and I quickly walked to it and got in.

"Hey"he said with a smile that I can verily see because it was too dark outside.

"yep" I told him excitedly and he began to drive to the beach.

"I'm taking you to the airport right"he said and I nodded.

"yeah well if you still can"I said to him.

"Of course I do" he told me and I smiled. The ride to the beach was pretty quiet since it was still pretty early. We pulled up to the beach and Jefnier found somewhere to park. Once he parked the car we got off the car and he walked next to me. He got ahold of my hand and we walked to a spot near the water.  We sat down on the sand I leaned my head on his shoulder and stared at the ocean.

"I'm going to miss it here" I told him truthfully with a frown on my face. Although I love my school and my friends I still get homesick but I don't think I can ever come back to PR to live/ although I love it here I don't see myself living here for the rest of my life. The sun started slowly to come up and it looked beautiful.

"Wow" I said as we saw the sunrise. It looked so freaking pretty and the ocean just made it better.

"Yeah the view is gorgeous"I heard him say and I turned. He was staring straight at me which made me blush. I quickly covered my face because I can already feel my face being really red. "Take your hands of your face you look cute when you blush"he said removing my hands causing to blush even harder if that's even possible.

"Can you take a picture of me"I asked him and he nodded. I handed him my phone and I sat down in front of him. I quickly posed for the picture and once he took it. I got up and walked towards him and he handed me my phone. "thank you" I said to him. I looked at the time and it said it was six in the morning.

"fuck" I said we have to leave now or I'll be running late to the airport.

"Do we have to go"Jefnier asked me and I nodded. We got up from the sand and he grabbed my hand. We walked to the car and go in Jefnier began to drive back to my house to pick up my things. "Is your mom home"he asked me and I shook my head no.

"We said our goodbyes yesterday" I told him with a small smile. I am really going to miss her but it's time to go back to school. We pulled up to my house and I quickly got out of the car. Jefnier got off with me because I actually don't know why. We walked into the house and I walked over to my luggage so I can grab it but he beat me to it.

"I can carry them myself you know" I told him and he gave me a grin.

"What kind of gentlemen would I be if I let you do that"he said and I rolled my eyes a little. We walked out of the house and walked back to the car. After he put the luggage in the car he began to drive me to the airport. He grabbed my hand the whole way to the airport which made me feel all giddy. After about a thirty minute drive to the airport we finally got there and I didn't want to get off the car but I have school.

"I guess this is goodbye" I told him with a frown. I kinda wanted cry if I'm being honest with you but I kept the tears in. He pulled me in for a hug which I gladly accepted it and I hugged him back.

"I'm going to miss you"he said to me.

"Me too" I told him and we pulled apart. He looked at me straight in my eyes and his eyes flickered to my lips. He began to lean and so did i. He grabbed my cheek and he kissed me, and I of course kissed him back. We pulled apart and we looked at each other and I didn't know what to say.

"I'll see you soon" I told him and I quickly got out of the car. I grabbed my luggage and began to walk away.

"Ailinn wait" I heard Jefnier say and he jogged over to me.

"What's up" I said to him without actually looking at him in his eyes.

"Hey"he said and he grabbed my chin lightly. He pulled my face so I can look up and I did straight into his eyes. "I'll see you really soon"he told me and I nodded. I walked away from him and walked into the airport. Tears started falling even though we aren't together I still do love him and that's why I wanted to avoid kissing him because these feelings get even stronger.

I finally landed and now I am waiting for my uber that is taking me back to my dorm so I can start packing up my things because Brad texted me when my plane landed. Telling me that I should move in today so I have Time to adjust before next semester which I agreed to. After I grabbed my luggage I walked to my Uber and it was about a 30 minute drive to my dorm room.

I finally got to my dorm building and I just got out of the Uber. I walked into the building and into the elevator. Once I got to the floor where my dorm is and I got out of the elevator. I walked to my dorm room and opened the door.

"HEY BITCH I MISSED YOU" Stephanie screamed as she ran to me and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back awkwardly because I'm not really a big hugger.

"Missed you too" I said to her back and we pulled apart.

"I heard you are moving to the frat today"she said sadly and I nodded.

"Yeah I am brad and I decided that it would be a good idea for me to move in before the semester ends" I said to her and she nodded with a frown on her face. I received a message from brad.

Brad:Are you back in your dorm room yet?

Me:yeah I just got here I'm going to start packing up my things.

Brad:do you need any help? Jason and I can go over.

Me:yeah sure come over

"Jason and Brad are coming over in a bit to help me pack" I said to Stephanie and she nodded. I started packing up my things and I noticed she was finishing up her makeup.

"I am leaving to a lunch date right now" she said as she touched up her lipstick. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"With who" I asked her curiously since she's never gone to a date before since I've known her.

"This guy I met while you were in PR he doesn't go here he's actually older he graduated from college already"she said with a smile on her face. I guess she must really like this guy because she is extremely picky and I mean extremely picky with the guys she dates."Oh my god is he hot" I asked her and she grinned.

"He's freaking gorgeous" she answered and I smiled . I'm so freaking happy for her. "Anyways I have to head out"she said and I nodded. She left the dorm room and about five minutes after Brad and Jason came to my room.

"This probably won't take us too long since we are three"Jason said and Brad nodded agreeing. I mean I really didn't have that many things.

"Yeah I didn't buy much when I came here which in the long run it's a good thing" I told them and they nodded agreeing.

"But now that your are moving to the frat and you are going to have the same room  for the next hopefully three and half years you can decorate it however you want" Brad said with a smile which I gladly returned. He's right because when you live in a dorm every single year.

After about two hours of nonstop packing we were finally done. I was carrying the last box that was left of my stuff. The guys were already waiting for me at the car but before I met up with them I need to drop off my key. I walked over to the office and knocked on the door.

"Hi I came to drop off my dorm key since I am moving into a frat" I told the lady and she nodded.

"Just put it IN That box and you will be fine"she said and I nodded. I put the key in the box and walked out of the office and out the building. I got to the car where brad and Jason were waiting.

"Give me the box I'll put in the car go ahead and get in" Brad said I nodded and handed him the box.

"Thank you" I told him and he said no problem. I got in the car and I received a message from Jefnier.

Jef:Are you moved out of your room yet?

Me: Yeah we just got the things in the car and we are heading over to the fraternity house

Jef:Okay I'll text you in a bit I'm about to go into a meeting. Imy all ready💗

Me:Okay! and i miss you too even though it's only been a few hours🥺💗

"Ready" Brad asked me and I nodded. He began to drive to the fraternity which is only a two minute drive from my use to be dorm room now. So I guess you can say the walk of shame wasn't bad if I didn't get an Uber or Brad to drop me off.

Time for a new chapter in life.

SORRY THAT I HAVENT UPDATED IN A WHILE I JUST STARTED A JOB IN A NURSING HOME AS A CNA AND IVE BEEN WORKING FULLTIME THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. SO IVE BEEN QUITE BUSY BUT EXPECT  MORE CONSTANT UPDATES!!
